In Jannat Mansion

Nandu couldn't believe her own eyes, she saw her Appa's best friend, her mumma's soul sister. Damn! How did I fail to realize them before, she had always wished to see them, she had seen the love in her parents' eyes that they hold for these 2 souls standing in front of her. She was brought out of her trance when Sooraj shook her shoulders. She looked at him, he smiled and took her to them.

Sooraj: This is Raj Malhotra and Mrs. Nyonika Malhotra..whom you always wanted to meet. (He knew that Nandu always craved to see those people who were the reason for her parents union)

Raj and Nyonika had a confused face listening to the last sentence of Sooraj. Nandu looked at her brothers and she turned back to them when she got an assuring smile from her brothers.

Nandu ( smiled amidst tears ): Mathlab mere Pops aur Nyoni Mumma..

The Malhotras were shocked, younger Malhotras were confused with these names while the elders couldn't believe what they heard.

Raj ( in tears ): Kya..kya bulaya ?

Nandu ( smiled ): Wahi jo apne mere Appa se kaha, yaad nahi..aap hi ne tho kaha na mere Appa se ki jab wo Papa benega tab unke bachon se aapko Pops bulana chahiye.

Raj smiled widely and nodded while Nyonika was sniffing badly. Nandu wiped Nyonika's tears and nodded NO. The next moment she was in Nyonika's arms. Nyonika started sobbing while Nandu had happy tears in her eyes. She broke the hug and cupped her face.

Nyonika ( smiled ): Ek aur baar bulao..

Nandu ( smiled ): Nyoni Mumma..

Nyonika ( grinned ): Shammi..meri shammi ne kaha tumse aise..aise bulane keliye..hai na ?

Nandu: Ji..unhone bathaya tha ki aap log hamesha keh rahe the ki unke bache aapko Nyoni mumma aur aapke bache unhe Shammi mumma bulayenge..

Nyonika ( giggled ): Bilkul..wo humara wadha tha ek dusre se..aur tumne wo wadha nibhaya..

Nyonika ( kissed her forehead ): I couldn't recognize you beta..

Nandu ( smiled ): Neither I..

" I am sorry " they said in unison and giggled, while others admired this new bonding.

Manik was having the most beautiful smile on his face when he saw the 2 of the most important ladies of his life having a special bonding. " How would it be when they live in a house being the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law " he blushed at his thought and ruffled his hair biting his lips.

Arpita and Anjali were the excited souls so they came forward with a big smile thinking now they can talk to her without being formal.

Arpita: Bhabi..humari introduction...

Nyonika ( smiled ): Kyu nahi, meri shammi ki bachi meri bachi hai aur meri bachi tho tum logon ki bhi bachi hai..kyu Nandu ( she nodded )..tho Nandu ye hai Arpita aur ye hai Anjali..dono mere devranis hai..

Nandu smiled and folded her hands and said ' Namaste '..

Arpita ( amused ): Namasthe beta..

Anjali ( amazed ): Namste..par beta aise kyu..mathlab uss din tho tum bilkul hello-bye thi par aaj Namaste kyu..hum budde lag rahe hai kya ? ( she asked with a sad pout )

Nandu ( giggled ): Arey nahi, aap log Nyoni mumma ki family hai mathlab meri bhi family hai..aur family mein har kisiko respect dena chahiye,isiliye..par agar aapko pasand nahi hai tho I will change..

The Malhotras were amazed. They knew Shekhar and Shamishti will teach some values but they didn't know that she would be someone who will follow those cultures and traditions while the Murthys had a proud look on their face..

Arpita ( smiled ): Nahi beta, tum aise hi rehna jaise tumhe sikhaya hai..

Anjali ( smiled ): Aur haa..sach kahoon tho tum aise hi THE BEST hai..

Nandu smiled at them..

Sooraj: Aur Pari yeh hai Rohit and Rishi..

Raj: Teek sai bolo na Sooraj..usse kaise patha inme se kon dusra aur kon teesra..

Nandu: Nahi Pops, Mujhe patha hai..Rishi chachu aapse chota aur Rohit chachu aap dono se chote..

Raj ( shocked ): Tujhe kaise patha ?

Sooraj: Usse sab kuch patha hai Raj Bhai..

Raj: Sab kuch mathlab ?

Sooraj: Sab kuch mathlab..Malhotra-Murthy pariwaar ki history..aur ye hai Harshwardhan Malhotra..mathlab ?

Nandu ( smiled ): Chote Daadu..

She went and was about to bend down to take his blessings but Harsh stopped her..they got alert..she looked at him..

Harsh: Betiyan paav nahi chuthe kyunki unki jagah paav pe nahi, dil pe hai..

He took her for a hug which she happily reciprocated..She had tears..no matter how much strong she becomes but she always craved for her DJ's love..she always wanted to go and hug him and tell how much she misses him..They broke the hug and Harsh kissed her forehead.

Harsh ( smiled ): To tum ho mera Shekhu ki bachi, ab patha chala na ki tum Manji jesi kyu dikhthi ho..wese kya tum Manji ko janthi ho ?

Nandu ( grinned ): Ofcourse, meri patakha Daadi..

They all look surprised at her answer..

Nandu ( grinned ): Wo..Appa aur Chote Papa aise kehte hai unke baarein mein..

They laughed at her reply and Rohit pulled her cheeks..

Rishi: Tum bilkul cute ho..Shekhar pe gayi ho..

She just smiled sheepishly while Sooraj took her to the Younger Malhotras.

Sooraj: Aur ab in logon ka naam tho tumhe patha hai phir bhi..ye hai Mukti..Cabir , dhruv, Manik..aur kiske bache hai..ye tho tumhe patha hai ( she nodded and told them )..waise bhi Manik aur tum dosth hai..

ALERT...was the only word could be used for the over possessive Murthy Brothers..

Asad: Friends ?

Rithvik: Kese ?

Sid: Kabse ?

Viren: Kaha se ?

Om: Tumne kabhi bathaya nahi ?

Shivaay: But how come you guys can get along ?

Rudr: Friendship hone ke liye tumne isse bas ek baar dekha na..hospital mein..?

Karan: Aur hoga bhi tho tum hamse chupaya kyu ?

Sooraj face palmed while others were looking at the brothers like they have seen some aliens..Obvio yar..who will ask these many questions all together..and that too only because you have made a new friend..

Nandu ( sighed ): Bhayyu, mene bathay tha na..wo jo hospital case..ek bache ko hospital thak pahuchne keliye mere madad ki thi ek ladka ( they nodded ) wo Manik hai..aur mene ye bhi bathay tha that we became friends..

Asad: Arey haa..tumne bathaya tha..

Rithvik: Tum naam kyu nahi kaha..we have asked you right ?

Nandu: Mein bathane wali thi par aap log koi kaam mein pad gaye..aur uske baad hum is topic ke baare mein baath hi nahi ki..it just slipped out of my mind...sorry..

Viren ( smiled ): Its okay..it happens..

Sid: Yah, but don't forget here after okay ?

Nandu ( cutely ): I promise..

Sooraj: Hogaya ? ( he turned to Malhotras ) ahh..aap log aise math dekho ye Bhai behen aise hai..jabhi Nandu kisi ladke ko dosth banathi hai tab in logon ko bathana chahiye..taaki ye uss ladke ka full details doondke patha chale ki wo acha ladka hai ya bura..

The younger clan gasped..

Cabir ( whispered ): Yar..hume bhi tho behen hai par humne kabhi nahi kiya..

Mukti ( whispered ): Aapne kiya nahi balki aapke bhai ne kiya hai..agar doubt hai tho Abhi se poochlo..

They looked at Manik who was looking here and there..

Cabir: Karma is a bitch..I have heard about it..ab dekh liya..jaise aapne apni behen ke achayi chaha wese jis ladki ko aap pasand karthi hai ussee ladki ko aap jese 8 Bhais hai..wow..hats off..

Manik ( glared ): Shut up Cabir..

They all settled down for lunch..There were many round tables and chairs around it..( pls see the previous chapters if you dont remember the dining hall..) elder Malhotras were on 2 tables , Younger Malhotras were on one table with Sooraj. While the Murthys have a rectangle shaped one since they always sit together on it. But they were arguing on something now.

Manik: Do they argue ? I mean I have always seen them together without any fights or arguments when they come to our house.

Sooraj: Because its your house not their mansion..so they were just being quiet..By God Manik..they could sit ad argue once they start and will never stop even if there is volcaniv=c eruption but yh 1 person could put an end..

Nyonika: Who is it ? Sujata or any other mumma ?

Sooraj : Nop..

Raj: Arey pehle hum ye sort out karenge..bacho baath kya hai..?

The siblings turned to them, they actually forgot they were With Malhotras..but who care..Mamla is serious baba..

Viren: Raj Papa..Asad Bhai aur Shivaay Bhai ne shuru kiya..

Rishi: Par hua kya ?

Om: Aaj mere aur viren Bhai ke baari hai par Asad bhai bol rahe hai unke baari hai..

Asad: Haa tho sahi kaha namein..pichle baar tum dono hi tho bethe( sat ) the..

Viren: Nahi, hum nahi the..

Shivaay: Phir kon ?

Om: Hume nahi patha..yaad nahi, pichli baar tho ek hafthe pehle ka na..

Shivaay: Ye sab hume nahi patha..ab humari baari hai..

Rohit ( irritated ): Koi bolega ki baath kya hai ? Abhi thak topic nahi bathaya..

Asad ( frustrated ): PRINCESS is the topic..

Sooraj ( face palmed ): Mujhe tho patha hi tha ye hi topic hai..

Raj ( confused ): Ab ye Princess kon ?

Rithvik: Humari Nandu, Raj Papa..

Rishi ( confused ): Oh.par wo kaise tumhare ladai ke beech aai ?

Shivaay: Kyunki chaachu pichli baar wo Om aur Viren ke beech bethi thi tho iss baar humari baari hai, mere aur Asad bhai ke beech betna chahiye iss bar lunch pe..par ye tho keh rahe hai inke baari hai..kya ye insaaf hai ?

The Malhotras looked at each other and then at Sooraj for an answer ...

Sooraj : Mujhe math dekho ye rozka hai..in logon ka kuch nahi ho saktha..

Meanwhile Nandu returned and saw her brothers arguing..she got the matter and sighed..

Nandu: Jagda abhi thak khatam nahi hua kya ?

Seeing her everybody's attention turned towards her..

Sid: Thank god Tum agayi, Baby ab tumhi bolo.aaj kiske baari hai..

Nandu: Umm..aaj..haan..aaj Om bhayyu aur Viren Bhayyu ke baari hai..pichle baar tho Rithvik bhayyu aur Rudr Bhayyu bethe the..

Shivaay: Hain ? Are you sure ?

Nandu: Haa Bhayyu..

Viren and Om ( exclaimed ): Yes..mene bola tha na..

Om picked her up and twirled her while she giggled, he made her sat on a chair..

Nandu ( giggled ): Kya bhayyu, ithne ecitement tho 10th result aane ke baad bhi nahi hoga kisiko bhi..

Om smiled sheepishly while she saw Shivaay and Asad sitting grumpily..One thing that she cant see is her brothers getting sad so she went and knelt down between shivaay and asad ( there was space between chairs ) and kissed their cheeks..smiled knowing who it is they turned towards her

Nandu: Agle hafth aap hi ke baari hai..tho sad math ho na..smile pls..

They smiled widely and kissed her cheeks form either sides..elder malhotras admired them while younger Malhotras couldn't believe that the ever angry-grumpy Asad Murthy and Shivaay Murthy could smile and they were waiting to get manofy by a girl...Unbelievable..Nandu went and sat on her chair, b/w Viren and Om..They started eating n they praised Murthy siblings..They completed the lunch and settled down in the living room with ice creams..

Harsh: Wese iske peeche koi kahani nahi hai kya ?( Murthys had a confused face ) arey Nandu tum logon ko 15 saalon se kese janthe hai..wo kahani..

Nandu ( smiled ): Of course we have..

Raj: Mind to share ?

The Murthys looked at each other and smiled..

Asad: Sure Raj Papa..

Rithvik: We were actually on a trip to London..onli bade Papa ( sohesh ) and Filmy Maa, Chote Papa and Mumma( vandhana ) were with us..sweety maa and hema ma have to be at home since the rest were not coming with us..so during the trip..we were in a park and we saw a cute girl..she was looking like a 8-10 years old girl ( actually she was 8 ) but her face was familiar to us but we couldn't understand..

Viren: But suddenly we remebered that she was looking like how our Daadi looked like in her childhood..DJ had shown us her photos, childhood and when she was a young girl too..but we couldn't believe, how come some one could look like our daadi, that too her childhood face and plus even Daadi was no more..but our question was soon answered..

Asad: We saw Appa with her..mathlab Shekhar Murthy..mums always showed his photo to us and had already told about his story and told us never to ask about him to anyone..being the eldest I got to know that she was our sister when she called 'appa'..

Shivaay: We were the most happiest thinking we also have a sister to love, to take care of, to protect..and we will also have someone to scold us other than mumma, to help us, to listen to us..

Sid: So we told her that we are her family, she wasn't ready to believe..

Nandu: Cause I was just 8. So I hardly could understand all these things..but they showed me the family photo which once appa showed me telling it was his family..n then I got to know that I have brothers to protect me , there are someone other than my parents for me to take care of me, to love me..

Om: After that we started chatting and skype..and sometimes we even go to the same places for vacation..other than India..

Karan: But one day Papa ( sooraj ) caught us..along with our mums..but he was the most happiest..trust me we have never seen him this happy before..

Rudr: And then we started to have contact with each other and now she is here with us..

The Malhotras had tears in their eyes..while the Murthy siblings hugged each other in happy contentment..
