" Will you come to college " it was a mind link from Navya..

" Sure, I will..meet you there.." replied Nandini..

Soon, she was ready for college..

Nandini was sitting on the bench waiting for her friends as she was asked to come there as soon as she reached the college. She found herself in someone's embrace..

Nandini ( teased ): Whoa, what's wrong..You guys being so emotional..

She broke the hug to see her friends with teary eyes..

Nandini ( panicked ): Hey, what's wrong..Soh, Nains..you guys are scaring me..Navy and Ann..when did you guys start crying..?

Soha: Where did you get hurt, this time..?

Nandini ( sighed ): God, you scared me..It isn't something new..I have been bearing it for the past 6 years of my life, and you know that..

Ann ( sighed ): Nan..

Nandini ( smiled ): Fine..

She showed her left hand's wrist which was looking like it was a burnt area, it was in dark rosy color..Anaisha caressed it making her hiss..

Anaisha ( worried ): Did I hurt you..?

Nandini ( smiled ): Nah, Its still paining..I can't move my hand so if you touch it then the pain would increase..

Naina ( sighed ): Why can't they stop doing it..are you sure its a witch..?

Nandini ( nodded ): Yup, it is..Curses are something for witches, they are experts in it..No Vampires or werewolves can do it, neither any other dark creatures..

Navya ( pissed ): We need to find that bit**..Why can't we find her..?

Anaisha ( pissed ): I don't get it..Even God can't find him, is it possible..I mean, nobody could be powerful than God..

Nandini ( sighed ): You are right, but don't forget, the witch is protected by Dark Lord who is equally powerful compared to patéras...Just like how patéras hides me from Dark Lord's eyes, even he can hide that witch from patéras' eyes..

The girls sighed in frustration..

Nandini: Don't worry babes..we are gonna find that lady, soon..Why am I practicing for the war..!!

The girls smiled at her and hugged her again..

" We will protect you, Nan.." said the girls..

Nandini smiled at them and mouthed an I love you..They broke the hug but then suddenly the girls remembered it..Navya gestured Anaisha to speak but she herself was nervous..

Nandini ( suspicious ): What is it Navya and Ann..?

Navya started looking here and there, of course you can't hide anything from the Lil Goddess while Ann was trying to find an excuse..

Nandini: Oh please, now don't lie..you know I hate it..so, just spill it out..

Anaisha ( nervous ): Uh, we have a doubt..( Nandini: What doubt ? ) Did you..did you exchange the mate's rings with adelfós..?

Nandini sat with amusement..

Nandini: What..? Are you mad..?

Navya ( sighed ): Just say it, Nan..

Nandini ( annoyed ): Are you crazy..? You think I don't know the meaning of exchanging the rings..Of course, i didn't exchange..

Soha: Where is your ring, then..?

Nandini ( frowned ): It would be at home..I don't take it out from it's box..

Naina ( surprised ): So, you never took it out after getting to know about adelfós being your mate..?

Nandini ( irritated ): Mahn, what is wrong with you people..

Suddenly, Navya realized something..

Navya: Show me your hand, Nan..

Nandini ( frowned ): What..? Why my hand..?

Navya shook her hand and then took Nandini 's hand and had a look at it only to gasp..The girls got shocked after seeing it..

Nandini ( confused ): Why do you look so shocked..?

The girls just stared at each other in shock..Nandini got annoyed and shouted..

Nandini: What the heck is wrong with you people..?

Anaisha ( shocked ): This ring..? How..?

Nandini ( casually ): Mom gave it to me..but, why do you look so shocked with it..?

Navya: your mom..?

Nandini nodded and now the girls were getting suspicious..

" Nan never exchanged the ring with adelfós but his ring is also with her and it was given by Nandita Aunty..Does it mean that her ring was reached to adelfós through Nandita Aunty, but who can it be from Tartaros to help Aunty..? " thought the girls..

Nandini ( suspicious ): What's wrong..If you don't spill it out then you would really see the demon in me cause I am really getting annoyed with this behavior of yours..

Naina ( nervous ): Nan..this ring..

Nandini: This ring..Is something wrong in it..?

Soha ( nervous ): Uh..its..

Nnadini ( annoyed ): Its what..?

Anaisha ( sighed ): Its adelfós' ring..

Nandini didn't understand first but then looked at the girls with a shocked face..

Nandini ( whispered ): You're joking..And you know I hate such jokes..Don't guys..

Navya ( held her hand ): No, we know his mate's ring..the ring which you're wearing in adelfós' mate's ring..

Nandini couldn't digest it..

Nandini ( whispered ): But, mom gifted it to me..

Anaisha ( frowned ): That's what even we can't get..If you both have exchanged the mate's ring then someone from Tartaros should also have a hand in it..

Nandini ( interrupted ): Hold on..EXCHANGED..? What does it mean..? Does it mean..?

The girls sighed and closed their eyes and spoke in a go..

" adelfós is wearing your mate's ring "..

Nandini forgot to breathe..She din't know should she shout or should she sit and curse herself for falling in her mother's trap as now she understood why Nandita was behaving weird on that day..

The girls opened their eyes and looked in front to see her sitting with a shocked expression on her face. Anaisha held her hand to bring her out of trance..

Nandini ( whispered ): Was he is in..pain too..?

The girls' face fell which scared Nandini..

Nandini ( glared ): I am asking something..

Soha ( nodded ): He was..

She just stood up and held her head and growled in anger..

Nandini: No, this can't happen..This can't..She knew I never wanted it..She knew I never wanted him in pain..

The girls could only stare at her in helplessness..While, Nandini was just punching the tress in frustration..The thought of him being in pain was just killing her from inside..The demon and Angel in her were trying to get control from her..

Anaisha just grabbed Nandini by giving control to her Demon..

Anaisha ( shouted ): Just stop it Nandini..you are hurting yourself..

Nandini got calmed down..She forced Strauss to give the control back to her or else she might end up in hurting Anaisha which will hurt her the most..

Nandini sat on the ground and ran her fingers through her hair..

Navya ( hugged her ): Its okay..He was cured..

She broke the hug and got up..

Naina ( frowned ): Where are you going..?

Nandini ( expressionless ): to get the ring from Manik..

Anaisha ( shocked ): Have you gone nuts..? Do you have any idea what you are speaking..?

Nnadini: I do..

Navya ( frustrated ): no, you don't..Don't you know the importance of mate's ring..

Nandini ( shouted ): I do..I blood know the importance of mate's ring which is why I want it from him..

Soha ( held her shoulders ): Nan, a mate's ring is the key to your mate's heart..He will feel your happiness, he will feel you existence, he will feel you pain..

Nandini ( got out of her hold ): PAIN..PAIN..Only that's the reason why I never wanted a mate..That's the only reason why I want that ring out of his hand..I bloody don't want him to suffer just like how I am suffering..Why don't you get it..?

Naina( cupped her cheeks ): We get it, we really do..but once you exchange your rings with your mates, you shouldn't take it out..If you takes it out, you will be punished..it would even reach you to death..

Nandini ( sighed ): I don't care..All I know is, I don't want him in trouble and I am the major trouble of his life, the ring will increase the pace..Before, anything wrong happens, I need to reach him..No harm should reach him..!!

Saying this, she dashed out of the garden by using her power while the girls just sighed..

Anaisha ( smiled ): And, she says she hates him..

The girls looked at her and then smiled knowing the meaning of it..

Naina ( tensed ): Its risky Ann..she is torturing herself..She shouldn't take the ring out..

Navya ( smirked ): You think adelfós will allow her..

The girls understood the meaning..

Soha ( smirked ): Hell No..

The girls smirked at each other and got out of the garden..

In the Canteen..

Nandini stood in front of the canteen to see Manik talking with his brothers but he looked so restless and even she found him weak, perks of bearing this much of pain for the first time will never keep you saint..

" Meet me in the corridor " she mind linked him and she noticed his face beaming in happiness after which actually confused her..Why is he getting happy if he never liked her..

She walked to the corridor and waited there..It was a corridor where students never come..It was for Royals..

Soon, she saw him walking towards her by looking at her intensely..Before she could say something, he grabbed her waist with one hand and took her left hand in his which shocked her..

He stood there shocked after seeing the mark on her hand..His hand didn't has any mark but she had, how is it possible..

Nandini: What are you doing, Manik..?

Manik ( shocked ): Your hand..? How did it happen..? Were you in pain..?

She freed herself and took his left hand but his wrist was looking pale, no marks which made her understand that his pain was not so high compared to her's. She looked at his ring finger and spotted her ring on it..

She sighed in anger but then tried to remove it when he took the hand back..

Manik ( glared ): What are you doing..?

Nandini: I need to take that ring out..

Manik ( surprised ): What..?

Nandini ( glared ): I said, I am taking that ring out of your hand..

Manik ( scowled ): You think I will allow..? Its my mom's gift..

She just got shocked knowing it was Nyonika who helped Nandita..

Nandini ( angry ): But, its mine..

Manik ( shocked ): What..? Are you crazy..?

She took his hand again..

Manik ( tensed ): Nandini, don't touch it..it could burn your hand..

Nandini: It won't..

She touched the ring and nothing happened, in fact, the stone color got brightened which shocked him..

Manik: How is it possible..?

Nandini ( pissed ): Cause as I told you, its mine..

She tried to remove when he stopped her again..

Nandini: What the hell, Manik..?

Manik ( glared ): How is it possible..? My mom gifted it to me then how come its yours..?

Nandini: Shut up, you know nothing..

He held her hand and spoke dangerously..

Mnaik: Say it, you know something..

Nandini: All I know is, this is mine and I won't give it to you..

She tried removing but he was adamant..He held her waist and pressed it making her hiss..

Nandini: Manik, stop it..

Manik ( shouted ): Then say it..

Nandini: I wont..

Meanwhile, her hand got hurt with his hold..

Nandini: Ouch..

This gained his attention..

Manik ( panicked ): Hey Nandini, are you fine..

He took her left hand and caressed the wound when she stared at him with some emotion in her eyes while he was busy in taking care of the wound and suddenly he noticed the ring on her hand..

Manik ( shocked ): Its my mate's ring.

She got shocked. True, she wanted her ring form his hand but she doesn't want to give his ring away..She felt so contented,complete and happy after wearing it..

He looked at her and she made a stern face.

Nandini: i told you you will know nothing..

Manik ( glared ): Nandini..how did it happen..?

Nandini ( glared ): The ring you are wearing is my mate's ring and this is yours which I just got to know from the your sisters..My mom..she gave it to me and you are telling this is given to you by Mrs. Weasley which proves that they both tried to hook both of us with each other..Now, I am here to get my ring back from you..

Manik stood shocked..It was her ring which he was wearing since 2 days..Now, he understood why he was feeling so special after wearing that ring, why his demon was jumping in joy after wearing it..

She saw him lost in thoughts, so taking it as a cue she tried removing it when he took his hand back and started looking here and there..

Nandini ( annoyed ): Now what, Manik..?

Manik started moving, he knew he was the one who took the initiative in staying away from her but now, when he saw her trying to take that ring, he just couldn't digest it..He didn't want to let go off the ring, maybe it means, he didn't want to let go off her..

She grabbed his hand and stopped him..

Nandini: Where are you going..?

Manik ( pissed ): Now, you can't let go off me..?

Nandini ( glared): Oh please, keep that self obsession with you..I just want to take that ring from you..And then, you are free to go..

Manik ( angry): I am no gonna give it to you..

Nandini ( shocked ): What..?

Manik ( furious ): Can't you understand English..? then hear it in our language.. "Den tha sou to dóso"..

Nandini ( pissed ): Enough Manik..let me take it back..

Manik ( smirked ): If you are wearing my ring, then I can wear yours too..

Nandini ( composed herself ): You can take yours back..I won't stop you..

Manik got hurt but he maintained a straight face..

Manik: I said, i won't give it..

He started moving when she stopped him again and stood in front of him..She grabbed his hand..

Nandini ( glared ): Nandini Grey Carlisle does what she wishes to..

Manik had enough, he just grabbed her waist and pinned her on the wall..

Manik: You won't listen right, then suit yourself..

Before she could speak something or before he could overthink his decision, he dipped his face in her neck and searched for that spot by licking her neck and once after finding it out, he brought his fangs out of his mouth and thrust them in her flesh earning a loud scream from her..

She kept screaming that it was so difficult for her to control while he knew only one thing that, he wants her in his life, no matter if she is an Angel, no matter if she is his rival..He WANTS HER, FOREVER..

He took his fangs off her skin and closed his mouth and looked at her face which was filled with tears due to the pain..He kissed her face madly and drank the tears which made her open eyes..She was standing like a statue so he just took her lips in his mouth and sucked them..She couldn't even move her lips, a demon's fang will be much sharper than a knife and it did hurt her because she was never hurt this much, though she has got a great healing power but he is her mate and he just marked her which was unbearable for her body while her inner souls were jumping in joy..

He broke the kiss and kept his forehead on her..

Manik ( panting): I don't know what you are for me other than being my mate, but I want you, in my life..Forever..And now, I marked you MINE..ONLY MINE..

He bent and kissed where he marked her and licked that spot to soothe her pain..He looked at her to see her staring at him without any emotion..He knew she was weak so he just picked her in his arms, though it was hurting his hand but if something mattered to him now, then it was her..

He chanted a spell and soon they were in his jeep, he drove them to Fiore..
