M: yaar please first of all woh Mera phone pick nahi kar Rahi and Kal evening main she was not well... I asked Her to come with me but she Being herself as usual rejected... And am really worried right now.. he said moving his hands on his hair...

C: oh.. don't worry she will be fine... Busy Hogi...

M: no yaar... Aisa Kahan busy Hogi that she can't even reply to my calls or message... I have this feeling that she is not well.. and on top of that mom is also not there...

Kabir kept quiet as he  knew it would be a waste of time and energy to explain or make him understand so they both moved for college

As soon as they reached Manik ran towards the class in search of his girl but didn't find her.. he went to Priya her roommate and asked about Nandini to which Priya informed him of her being not well and is resting and sick room

Manik ran towards sick room and found Nandini sleeping their..she had puffy eyes red cheeks and red nose..dry lips..and frowns on her forehead...

As soon as I reached the sick-room I found my angel sleeping over there looking so pale... I went beside her and gently stroke her hair.. she was warm.. literally burning from fever...

I ran to the doctor and ask about what happened to her...

Dr: she was having hi fever and severe headache so we have taken a blood sample to check if its a regular fever or something else cause our senior doctor think it might be dengue so v will find it out by tomorrow...

M: DENGUE.. how I mean she was fine yesterday morning then...

Dr: we know Mr Malhotra but its all the symptoms of dengue only...

Manik hurriedly called Monika

M: mum where are you

Neo: I just reached home... What happened you sound to be tensed

M: its Nanu she is not well she is having high fever and doctor here is saying it might be dengue please mum do something.. he said in a crying voice...

Neo: what.. but nobody inform me .. ok don't worry I will be there in a minute or so you be with her and don't be scared she will be fine.. saying this Hanged the call...

Manik sat beside her and kept stroking her hair...

M: whispering.. kya Hua nanu.. how come you ended up here... why didn't you inform me or anyone... it's ok.. you will be fine soon.. mom is on her way... saying this he kissed her forehead...

Soon neonika reached and she rushed towards them to the sick room...

Manik saw neonika and said in a terrified voice...

M: mom.. see na.. she.. she is...

Neo: I know beta don't worry I have talked to dr. Batra .. we will take her there so Hurry..pick her..we will move

Manik picked her up and both move towards the car...

Nandini woke up due to all this chaos

N: mani.. she said in a low voice

Manik looked at her and said settling in the car... nanu.. how are you feeling now...

N: with teary eyes.. sir dukh ra..zor se...

Manik kissed her forehead gently and started massaging her forehead.. don't worry baby..it will be gone soon.. mai hu na.. you just close your eyes and try to sleep..

Soon Nandini drifted to sleep due to weakness and medical dosage

they soon reached the hospital and rushed towards dr Batra .. who was already waiting for them...

He did check Nandini and said

Dr: yes Mrs Malhotra..it seems to be dengue.. don't worry..we will get confirmed in half an hour...

Dr: just for precaution I would like to know if she suffering from any prolonged or permanent disease...

M: no but recently she got low bp stroke once...

Dr: ok...

The report came and dr checked it and confirmed its dengue ad they have to admit her...

(Ok people don't know what dengue is so I would like to tell its disease in which our WBC count goes really down and person suffer from high fever headache and fatigue ness if not treated immediately a person can die... I know this as I have suffered from it and all those who have suffered will agree with its very tiring and weakening disease)

Soon Nandini was admitted and the treatment started...
(I would like to skip the treatment)..

It was two hours after which Nandini woke up...
Everybody was there...Manik ..neo..fab 5...

She smiled looking at them.. neo sat beside her as asked...

Neo: Kaisa lag rha h ab... Kuch chahiye...

Nandini smiled a little and said.. pani...

Neonika helped her sitting and gave her water...

Neo: ab headache to ni hora na...

N: ni... Thoda sa..bs.. she said looking at Manik...

Neo: mai doctor ko bula k lati hu...

She went and Manik sat beside her and held her hand gently...

M: you scared me, love... y didn't you informed me...

Nandini kept quiet as she knew it was her mistake...

Cabir came forward and said... Manik tu bhi na..ek to meri jaaneman ki tabiyat thik ni h..aur upper se tu..huh...

Manik gave him an angry glare and said..stop saying her that..she is my love...

C: to nandu.. tu meri jaaneman h na...

Nandu nodded in yes...

M: you are my love na..he said in a kiddish tone...

Nandu again nodded in agreement...

Soon the doctor came did some checkup and said...

Dr: so miss Nandini..how are you feeling..any pain or discomfort...

N: ni..bs headache h ..and body pain bhi...

Dr: don't worry wo thik ho jayega... it's good your WBC is not very low.. you will be fine soon..bs thodi weakness rahegi it will take a while.. but proper diet and rest will be all you need... we will keep you here for some more days till your WBC is normal and fever is completely gone...

Saying this dr.went out and a nurse came with her food...

Nurse: visiting hours khatam ho gya h..koi 1 patient K Saath ruk Sakta h...Baki sab jayiye...

All knew Manik will stay so everyone left saying bye and giving instructions...

Manik kept the food in front of her and started feeding her.. after just 3 bites Nandini said... I don't feel like eating...

M: but khana padega na..hesaid in a soft tone...

N: acha ni h... She said a cute kiddish tone...

M: I know..but mera baccha ..aapko thik hona h na...

Nandini nodded with teary eyes and said ni khana...

Manik went all aww over her and sat beside her and hugged her.. soon Nandini started crying...

M: jaan..shh..ok hum ni khayenge.. plz ni ro.. he said stroking her hair...

N: hiccuping.. acha ni lag ra.. headache hora..body pain bhi.. she complains like a kid.. aur..aur see... Kitti Badi Sui lagadi doctor ne.. she cried showing her hands to Manik...

Manik gently rubbed her fingers over her hand and said..we will scold doctor ok...

Nandini nodded in yes still crying...

Manik wiped her face and nose.. shh baccha.. aise roge to aur headache Hoga na.. see nose bhi tomato bn gyi h...

Nandu hugged him as tight as she could..and Manik was holding her gently as he was scared of hurting her...

N: still hugging him.. gussa ho..she asked is a low voice...

M: ni nanu...

N: to fir thik se huggy ku ni kr re.. she asked in a childish tone...

M: kr to rha hu...

N: ni jor se huggy Karo na.. she complaint being cute to which Manik laughed a little and hugged her tight...

M: ab thik h...

N: yesh...

M: Chalo jaan now lie down..its time to sleep...

N: ni... Mujhe aise he sleepy Karna h..huggy krte hue...

M: umm..ok..you lie down... I vl lie beside you.. haina mast idea...

N: yes.. she said being excited...

Both lied down ..soon Nandini drifted into sleep and Manik kept stroking her hair
