" to kill nandini murthy " nandini spoke with an emotionless face.....her eyes were hollow devoid of the warmth they held earlier....her body language looked menacing.....all in all she looked nothing like the girl she used to be...but everything like how a mafia leader has to be........

to tell that she was confused would be an understatement for navya....she dint know how to react.....what did nandini mean by that.....isn't she nandini murthy....what did she mean by killing herself....she was absolutely flabbergasted.....her mind felt dizzy due to shock....she gave a look to nandini which screamed " explain-what-you-meant-before-i-lose-my-brain "

  nandini looked at her and sighed.....she took a deep breath to calm herself......and it did help....her body visibly relaxed...

" a week before i came to india.....mamu called me to his cabin.....i entered inside to find mamu sitting on his chair looking tensed while keerthi stood beside him looking tensed as well....seeing their faces i knew the matter must be hell serious.....but what they told me was beyond anything i expected....." nandini said going into the memory lane.......

flashback......

nandini quietly went and settled on a chair infront of akash...she played with the paperweight...placed on his desk lazily....  

" what is your reason to call me.....especially when i was on my hunt....." nandini asked in a bored tone her concentration still on the paperweight......

" someone got to know your identity...." keerthi spoke without beating around the bush....nandini stopped playing...all playfulness was gone replaced by a stern face....she sat straight and raised a questioning eyebrow at her...........

" they are not sure yet...but " akash intervened......

nandini furrowed her eyebrows deep and uttered " but..."

" but they are planning to attack your family to get to you..." keerthi spoke closing her eyes.......and that was it for nandini.......she stood up....her shoulders tensed......her fist turned white due to the tight grip......she started taking deep breaths to contain her anger but it was not helping......she kicked the chair to let out her anger.....the chair flew a few feet and slammed into the wall.....

" how the fuck did you let this happen.....how did they learn about my family.......now they will be in danger all because of me......because...of..me....i put them all in danger......i...." nandini slumped on her knees as a tear left her eye.....her chest heaved with pain.......it felt hard to breath.......

" we are sorry....we couldnt do anything........we dont know how to stop them......" keerthi spoke feeling miserable.......

hearing her nandini got up cleaning her tears......she stood straight concealing her emotions she blankly looked at keerthi...." there is a way...........i have to kill nandini murthy..."

keerthi looked at her questioningly.......

nandini chuckled humourlessly and mumbled, " i should have done this earlier....."

seeing both their confused expression's nandini continued " we always knew sooner or later they would track my family down......as they are my weakness....they still dont know if i am nandini......so...."

keerthi furrowed her eyebrows in deep thoughts......after some time she finally realized what nandini was hinting at......keerthi shockingly spoke " so you are planning to fake your death.....to make them believe that N.M and nandini murthy are different persons.......so they will let your family off the hook......"

nandini smiled menacingly " exactly......"

akash had a worried look on his face as he spoke " you dont have to do this.....i know you are hurting from inside.....it takes a lot of courage to kill the identity you have lived all your life with......."

nandini looked at him........ a ghost of a smile lingering on her lips......." its fine.....i have come in terms with this long time ago......to breath and live my like as the mafia queen N.M......i will have to kill nandini murthy........" she spoke the last line painfully as memories filled her of how her life used to be........

flashback ends.......

" i came back..... contacted chachi and explained to her everything......i had to go through a lot of paper work.......you see faking a death is not that easy......." nandini spoke and tried to joke at last........

navya could see that she was fighting her tears.......she knew it was hell painful for her........navya herself was in tears.......so she could only imagine how nandini felt.....

" and then nandini murthy died in a pathetic car accident on her way to Mangalore the same day i joined as mafia queen...." nandini spoke painfully.......navya just hugged her and cried while nandini patted her hair with tears in her eyes........

" am i intruding something....." a voice spoke from the door......keerthi came inside......nandini wiped her tears and uttered " no you are not.......you are just in time......i am super hungry......"

keerthi narrowed her eyes at her while nandini pleaded through her eyes to talk later......keerthi nodded at her and chirped " so i have brought us pizzas........"

seeing navya confused nandini introduced them to each other.......both of them quickly jelled up and they sat in the living room satisfying their stomachs......

" how did the mission go N.M.... " keerthi spoke in a professional tone.....

nandini nodded at her as if to say it went well........

" so now are we going back......" keerthi asked.....

" we will be leaving tomorrow in our private jet......." nandini spoke  and navya went still....leave.....tomorrow.....nandu will leave.....that was the only thing in her head......she dint want her to leave.....she wont be able to live alone again.....her eyes became teary as she imagined nandini leaving again.....

" nahi....you cant leave me......" navya stuttered shaking her head as panic filled her.......she looked as she was about to have a panic attack........nandini looked shocked for a second and then she hurried to navya and hugged her.....she spoke softly " i wont leave you navu....we will come to meet you every month....i will call you every day.......and skype you every night....."

but navya was not listening ..... she shook her head violently and muttered " no...no...no....i will come with you.....take me with you both...."

nandini widened her eyes......taking navya would mean putting one more loved one in death trap.....she cant let that happen.....she cant let navya get killed......nandini tried one last time to convince her......

" listen navya you cant come......you will be killed......" nandini spoke......

navya shook her head again and spoke " i dont care.....i will come with you....."

nandini saw navya's determination.....she pinched the bridge on her eyebrows in frustration.....she dint know how to convince her......she was voluntarily offering her self to death......she cant let that happen to navya.....she has to convince her somehow.......

" okay you can come......" keerthi spoke who was till now a silent spectator to their banter.....navya looked overjoyed...while nandini looked furiously at her.......while keerthi looked at her with i will explain you later look........

while nandini looked at her with a you better have a good explanation look......she turned to navya who was looking at her waiting for her to say something......she sighed and spoke " alright.....you are coming with us....."

navya jumped on her for a hug while nandini too hugged her back with equal favour chuckling at her child best friend......soon keerthi joined the hug laughing along........
