Standing outside Nandini's house, Manik irritatedly yelled " natti yaar. ...aur kitna time laagaogi? ?????.....jaldi bahar aao naa! !!!!"

Coming out of her house with a grumpy face, Nandini smacked Maniks head.

Manik cried out of pain " oucch. ...ab yeh kis liye tha? ????"

Nandini ( pissed ) : I hate you. ....tum ne mujhe phir se natti bola! !!!

Manik in a matter of fact way said " ab natti ko natti nehin bolu. ...toh aur kya bolu? ????"

Nandini ( pouting ) : hawww. ...ab agar tum khambe jitne lambe ho. ...toh iss mein meri galti hai kya? ???

Nandini ( sarcastically ) : accha. ...toh main khambe ki tarah lamba hu! !!!!

Nandini ( casually ) : aur nehin toh kya! !!!

Manik ( cribbing ) : dekho tum aaj ke din bhi mujhse jhagra kar rahi ho! !!!!

Nandini with a straight face said " main kabhi jhagra nehin karti! !!!"

Manik ( rolling his eyes ) : chal jhuthi. ...

Nandini ( angrily ) : ab toh main tumse definitely baat nehin karne wali. ....

Manik ( frustrated ) : yeh bada accha hai! !!....jhagra tum karo. ...gussa tum karo. ...aur sorry main bolu! !!!!

Nandini ( cutely ) : aur nehin toh kya! !!

Manik ( pissed ) : yeh kaha ka rule hai? ??????

Nandini ( casually ) : yeh pyaar ka rule hai! !!!....agar tumhe ideal boyfriend baana hai toh sorry bolna ana hi chahiye! !!!!

Maniks eyes popped out " kis gadhe ne aise bakwas rules baanaye  hai? ????.....ek baar bass mere haath laag jaye. ...main usse zinda nehin chhodunga! !!!"

Nandini ( sarcastically ) : ab tumhe late nehin ho raha! !!!

Huffing like a bull, Manik went towards his cycle and sat on it.

Immediately a crazy idea clicked in his mind.

Manik ( over sweetly ) : waise Nandu. ...tum saamne baithogi ki pecche baithogi? ???

Nandini ( confused ) : yeh kaisa question hai? ????

Manik ( mischievously ) : arrey Nandu. ...logic bada simple hai! !!!!.....agar tum saamne baithogi toh main tumhe hug karunga. ...aur agar tum pecche baithogi. ...toh tum mujhe hug karogi! !!!....toh baatao. ...tum hug kar rahi ho. ...ki main hug karu? ????

Getting Maniks whole point, Nandini's eyes popped out " chiii Manik. ....besharam kahi ke! !!!!"

Manik ( confidently ) : oh hello! !!!....girlfriend ko hug karne mein besharmi kaisi? ????

Nandini just nodded her head in disbelief and said " tumhara kuch nehin ho sakta! !!!"

Before world war three could break out, Manik said " accha meri maa. ...iss bareme humlog baad mein discuss karenge. ...phil haal ke liye humein late ho raha hai! !!!"

On hearing the word ' MAA ', Nandini got pissed and said " tumhe agar mujhe aapni maa baanane ka itna hi shauk hai. ...toh main Nyonika Aunty ko baata deti hu. ...woh tumhara yeh shauk zarur pura karegi! !!!!"

Seeing Nandini pout angrily, a smile crept on Maniks lips.

Manik ( teasingly ) : meri maa ka toh pataa nehin. ....magar tumhe aapne baccho ki maa zarur baanaunga! !!!

On hearing this, Nandini's cheeks turned red and she started looking here and there. Manik just pulled her chubby cheeks lovingly and said " aww. ...Nandu you are too cute yaar! !!"

To save herself from Maniks teasing session, Nandini went and sat in front of Manik, on the cycle.

Manik ( teasingly ) : finally. ...main tumhe hug kar raha hu! !!!
Nandini, trying to keep a straight face said" jaldi chalo. ...late ho raha hai. .."

Grinning like a fool, Manik started the cycle.

Due to the bumpy roads filled with holes, Manik halted his cycle abruptly.

Nandini ( irritatedly ) : tum ne mujhe gaadhe mein daala!!!!!!!!

Manik ( confused ) : maine? ????

Nandini ( pissed ) : haan tum ne !!!!!.....yeh cycle tumhara hai. ....toh indirectly tumhi ne mujhe gaadhe mein daala Monster! !!!!

Manik ( pouting ) : seriously Nandu! !!!....ab iss ke liye bhi main hi responsible hu?????

Nandini confidently nodded her head and said " haan! !!!!"

Thinking for few seconds ,Manik came up with a superb idea and mischievously said " theek hai. ...toh har bumper ke liye main ek kiss karunga. ...aur gaadho ke liye specially doo kiss! !!!....what say? ?????"

Nandini just gaped at him in disbelief " besharam! !!!....tum mujhe gaadhe mein girane ke liye offer de rahe ho! !!!!"

Manik with full attitude " arrey Nandu. ...yeh Manik Malhotra ka kiss hai. ..koi aisi waisi cheez nehin! !!!!"

Nandini made an annoyed face and said " rehne do. ....gaadhe mein girane ke liye agar Cadbury Silk dete. ...toh main maan jaati! !!!....lekin bada aya kiss dene wala! !!!!"

Manik acting as if hurt, said " sahi hai. ...jab main nehin rahunga naa. ...tab miss karna mujhe aur mere kiss ko! !!!!"

On hearing this, Nandini became a bit emotional, but controlled it and said " theek hai. ...theek hai. ...itna bhao khaane ki zarurat nehin! !!!!....aur jaldi chalo. ...we are getting late. .."

Understanding Nandini's emotions, Manik teasingly said " as you say. ..my love "

While, on hearing this, Nandini smiled.

After 15 minutes, they reached their destination.

Manik was busy in parking his cycle. While looking at the place, Nandini clapped her hands in excitement.

Seeing Nandini's glowing face, Manik just smiled heartily.

Nandini ( childishly ) : Manik tumhe yaad tha. ...ki mujhe yeh beach kitna pasand hai! !!!....issliye tum mujhe yaha laye ho naa!!!!....I really love you for this. ...

Manik ( mischievously ) : arrey nehin. ...nehin. ...yeh hi ek beach hai jaha kaafi hot ladkiyan dekhne ko milti hai! !!!....issliye toh hum yaha aye hai. ....

Pissed by Maniks this comment, Nandini grabbed his collar and pulled him closer towards her.

Glaring at Manik, she said " I am warning you Mr Manik Malhotra. ...agar inn mein se ek bhi ladki ko ankh utha ke dekha naa. ...toh I swear. ...main tumhari jaan le lungi! !!!!!"

Looking at her eyes, Manik huskily replied " tumhare inn tomato jaise red nose aur cheeks se kabhie fursat mile. ...toh hi naa kisi aur ko dekhunga! !!!!"

Overwhelmed by Maniks confession, Nandini left his collar and started looking here and there.

Fully aware of Nandini's shy nature, Manik decides not to tease her further.

Saying this, Manik holds her wrist and started walking.

Nandini ( calmly ) : hum kaha jaa rahe hai Manik? ???

Manik ( smiling) : tum kya bina sawaal puche koi kaam nehin kar sakti? ????

Nandini ( pouting ) : iss mein meri kya galti hai!!!!!....tum hi mere sawaalon ke jawab nehin dete ho! !!!!!

Manik ( sarcastically ) : tum sawaal jawab nehin. ....balki mere saath KBC khelti rehti ho! !!!!

Nandini ( childishly ) : theek hai naa. ....ab se koi sawaal nehin puchungi! !!!!

Reaching a bench, Manik said " yaha baith jao! !!!"

Nandini ( curious ) : kyon? ????

Manik ( sarcastically ) : abhi kuch der pehele hi tumne kaha tha naa. ..ki ab se koi sawaal nehin puchogi. ...usska kya hua? ????

Nandini pouting " haan toh theek hai naa. ..nehin puchungi. ...gussa kyon hote ho! !!!!

Looking at Nandini's pouty face, Manik melted and said " arrey Nandu. ...main gussa nehin kar raha hu! !!!!"

Nandini ( cutely ) : sacch bol rahe ho naa? ???

Manik ( lovingly ) : haan Nandu. ...doo minute ke liye yaha baitho. ...main abhi aya. ...

Smiling at Manik, Nandini obediently sat on the bench. While Manik left from there.

Looking at the gigantic waves, Nandini tried to calm her nerves. The sound of the waves where always like music to her ears. But today, even they failed to soothe her heart. She felt the loneliness entering her life with each passing second. Nandini very well knew, what life has in store for her. But, she just didn't had the guts to face the reality yet. She just wanted to spend some more time with Manik, in her dreamland.

Nandini's thoughts were broken, as Manik said " Nandu dekho main tumhare liye kya laya hu? ????"

Turning her face, Nandini found Manik standing with her favourite ice cream.

Nandini excitedly took the ice cream from Manik.

Nandini was about to eat her ice cream, but suddenly something strikes her and she looks at Manik.

Nandini with a faint smile asked " tum nehin khaaoge? ???"

Reciprocating her smile, Manik just nodded his head in a no.

Manik very well knew, that if it had been some other day, then Nandini would had fought with him for not sharing her ice cream. But today. ...today things were different. ...they were different. ...

As soon as Nandini finished her ice cream, Manik kneeled in front of her.

Manik( teasingly ) : tumhare iss sharing is caring wale bemari ka main kya karu Nandu? ????

On hearing this, Nandini gave a toothy smile to Manik.

Manik ( smiling ) : sahi mein. ...tum khud toh ice cream khaati ho. ...aur aapne kaapdo ko bhi khilati ho! !!!!

Saying this, Manik took out his handkerchief and started cleaning Nandini's dress.

Standing up on his feet, Manik was about to move away, when Nandini stops him by holding his wrist.

Breaking the hug, Manik calmly said " thanks. ...for keeping my promise. .."

Taking  Nandini's hand in his, Manik hesitantly said " Nandu woh. ...woh mujhe kal job ke liye US jaana parega. ..."

As soon as Nandini heard this, tears started rolling down her cheeks.

Dragging her in a side hug, Manik lovingly patted her head and said " please naa baccha. ...don't cry! !!....tum agar aise hi rooti rahi. ...toh main tumse door kaise jaunga? ???"

Breakingthe hug, Nandini rubbed her nose and said " kab. ...kab jaana hai? ???"

Manik smiling a bit said " kal shaam ki flight hai! !!"

Nandini ( still sobbing ) : aur wapas kab aaoge? ???

Manik ( calmly ) : teen saal baad. ..

Rubbing the tears away from her eyes, Manik lovingly said " ek promise karogi? ???"

Nandini ( sniffing ) : kya? ???

Manik ( smiling ) : kal ka din tum mere saath bittaogi. ...aur mere jaane ke baad. ...no crying! !!!

Hitting Maniks hand , Nandini said " yeh toh ek nehin. ...balki doo promise hai! !!!"

Manik sheepishly replied " yeh mere single promise ke doo parts hai. .."

Rubbing off the tears which were threatening to come out , Nandini confidently said " yeh mere single promise ke doo parts hai. ...so you better stick to them. ..."

Manik ( cutely ) : sure natti. ..

Saying this, Manik kissed her forehead and left. While, Nandini just keept on looking at the security check, feeling the light disappear from her life. ...

3 years later. ..

After completing all the marriage rituals successfully, Manik and Nandini were sitting on a sofa.

Manik ( happily ) : so. ..I keept my promise. ..

Making the world's most innocent face, Manik said " maine kab bola????"

Nandini getting irritated "hawww. ..such a liar! !!!.... I hate you Manik. ..."
