After the ward duty, they were heading towards their respective hostels, adorned in white apron with dangling stethoscope.
Manik: what about a date today evening?

Nandini- yeah, good idea!

Manik: would you like a coffee date at CCD or a movie date?

Nandini:  I would prefer a study date.

Manik(surprised)- hey... what's that....?

Nandini: it's a study date in the college library followed by coffee and snacks downstairs in the canteen.

Manik: it's been a continuous 24 hours emergency duty...how could you even think about study now.

Nandini (smiling)- I would just change and come in few minutes.

Manik: but ...why library ,dear! Why not anywhere else?

Nandini- as we have to prepare for our PG entrance to become specialists....we must strive for our goals ....love shouldn't deviate us from our aim... isn't it.

Manik smiled - as you wish....

(Half an hour later, she arrived in library.... beaming after shower and looking as beautiful as a dew drenched rose petal,with no sign of exhaustion from the gruelling emergency duty. He smiled with happiness on seeing her, who had always been his source of inspiration, letting him know about his priorities in addition to being his constant pillar of strength.)

Who says that romance can't blossom while taking care of other priorities in life! 🌸
