*Sorry guys, I haven't watched KYY yet so I don't know if my idea is related in the show or not, it's completely my imagination!*

Manan were sitting on a bench, hands entwined and nandini's head on his shoulder.

Nandini: Manik, kal tumhe yaad h na kya h?

Manik: Bilkul nandu. Kal ke din hme mile ek saal ho jaega.

Nandini: you know what, m abhi bhi yaad krti hu na hmari first meet to hasi control nhi hoti.

Manik: Tumhe hasi aa rhi h, aur waha mera haal behaal ho rha tha.

Flashback..

It was the first day of college. Nandini along with her other friend, Ria entered inside the college but stopped seeing ragging a little forward.

Ria: Yaar aaj to hm gye kaam se.

Nandini: Yaar meri to halat tight ho rhi h, pta nhi kya krwayenge. 

Ria: Mene to wattpad ki stories me padha h, kuch seniors na kiss krne ko bhi kehte h.

Nandini: Shut up you, don't scare me.

They moved further.

Girl: Yes girls, introduction. 

Ria: I am Ria and she is Nandini.

Girl: Okay ! So as you know, you can only pass to your classes after doing what we say you.

Nandini: Wh-what do you want me to do?

Girl: Oh my baby! Nothing much. Just slap the first guy you see enter the college gate.

Nandini: Whatt? I won't do it.

Girl: Okay then. Kiss this boy Rajeev beside me.

Nandini: Pls leave me. I can't do this.

Girl: 1 min to choose what to do from both of it.

Nandini took a deep breath and walked near the college gate. A boy came and she shut her eyes tightly and slapped him. The boy was unable to process anything. He just glared at the girl.

Boy: Wtf! How dare you raise your hand on Manik Malhotra!

Girl: Sorry! Pls first listen to me. Please. The girl there was ragging us and she told me to slap the first person crossing the gate. I am really sorry.

Manik's eyes soften seeing her adorable pout face.

Manik: Who were they?

She pointed towards the group. Both went near them.

Manik: Yeah so what's the matter with you guys?

Guy: Oh hello fresher! We r seniors. Have some respect.

Manik: And I am the dean's son. Manik Malhotra. Beware or face suspension.

The whole group turned pale and some gulped seeing him. They all went to their classes.

Nandini: I am so sorry, please don't complain to your dad about me slapping you. As I told it was because of the seniors only-

Manik: Just cool! The Dean is not my dad. I don't even have my dad. It's just the surname was same so I played along to teach them a lesson.

Nandini: No but still...whatt? You r not dean's son?

Manik shook his head. They both laughed and then introduced themselves. This way their friendship blossomed.

Having the same stream, they got in the same classroom  and their friendship deepened unaware to the love sparks inside them which gradually started growing. On valentines' day party, the terrace, it's decorations and the stars and moon witnessed the proposal of manik and acceptance of nandini.

Nandini: I am so thankful to that Sonia. If she wouldn't have given me the task, I wouldn't have been with you today.

Manik: well, I am also thankful to my surname.

They both chuckled.

Manan: I love you!
