by the time cabir finished telling his story manik was laughing his guts out........seeing him laugh at his misery cabir made an annoyed face and stomped his leg........

manik ( still laughing ) : hahaha....oh my god.....can't believe you got pranked by madhubala........

cabir ( irritated ) : oye....use madhubala sirf main hi bula sakta hoon........

manik ( amused ) : possessive much are we..........

before manik could tease him any further cabir got a call..........manik patiently waiting for him to complete the call.....he was not ready to let go of this golden opportunity........

cabir : mukthi.....meri dost.........

mukthi : cabir drama bandh kar.....main sirf ye bolne keliye call kiya tha ki.....it's fine if you guys take more time.......

before mukthi could complete cabir interrupted her and said while looking at manik......

cabir ( dramatically ) : kya baat kar rahi hai.......tu mera wait kar rahi hai.......heyy bhagwan muku tu hi meri sachi dosth hai....meri janeman hai......mera jigar da tukda hai.....tujhe main kaise wait kara saktha hoon......ruk tu main abhi aaya.....

saying this he dashed out of the room neither giving mukthi nor manik a chance to speak.........

manik ( in mind ) : aaj bach gaya.....lekin kab tak.........

manik smirked evilly and left for canteen........

here nandini entered in her jam room to see navya lost in her thoughts with a stupid grin on her face.............nandini frowned and shook her shoulder a little but navya was still lost.........getting irritated she went near her ear ......

nandini ( shouted ) : navyaaa........

navya came out of her trance with a jerk and frantically looked around............

navya ( looking  here and there ) : kaha hai...kaha hai.......

nandini ( held navya's shoulders ) : kaun kaha hai navu.......

navya ( unknowingly ) : are humara rajkumar........

nandini ( made a weird face ) : kyaa.....rajkumar.......navya.......

navya ( realizing what she spoke ) : kuch nahi....kuch nahi.......

nandini knew something was wrong but she knew navya will not tell her this easily......so she decided to wait for the right time........

nandini : accha....do you know when abhi and every one will arrive........

navya : haan.....i just called them.....they are still stuck in some work so it will take one more week.........

nandini nodded at her and both decided to go to the canteen.........

in canteen.......

fab5 were chatting and having their food when navni arrived......seeing them mukthi stood up and went closer to them..........

mukthi kept her hand on nandini's shoulder.....feeling someone's hand on her shoulder nandini looked behind and was surprised to see mukthi smiling at her.........

nandini ( in a whisper ) : mukthi........

mukthi : nandini i know we had a bad start...... but we  fab4 got to know that manik and you decided to give this relation a chance..............

hearing this navya made a surprised look and looked at nandini......nandini assured through her eyes that she will tell her later.......navya nodded her head.........

mukthi : so even i want to make a fresh start.....so friends......?

she offered her hand looking at her expectantly........manik was surprised seeing her taking the initiative........nandini looked at her hand and shook it smilingly......

nandini : friends.....

listening them manik was on cloud 9......his best friend and wife decided to make a fresh start..........

mukthi ( turning towards navya ) : friends.....?

navya smiled and shook her hands........

mukthi : so now that you are my friends....please come and sit with us........

listening her navni looked a little reluctant at first.......but eventually gave in.........

fab5 and navni's table.....

awkward.....will be the apt word to describe the atmosphere surrounding them..........the whole table was quite......not being able to bear the silence anymore cabir decided to break the ice..............

cabir : kiske mouth ka maatam mana rahe ho......god why this silence......come on yaar....relax.......accha since we became friends why don't we have a party......

mukthi : of course we have to celebrate.......

cabir : let's bunk the classes and party at my place........

all nodded at him.........

mukthi : ok so....me , dhruv and aliya in one car.......

manik ( excitedly )  : me and nandini in one.....

nandini controlled her smile seeing his attempt to spend some time......while all decided not to tease them right now as they need to become comfortable with each other........

navya : hum bhi nandini ke saath aayenge...........

listening this manik who was till now excited made a bad face......nandini kept mum not knowing how to react.......

manik ( in mind ) : iss madhubala ki tho......khud ki love story mein bhi haddi banegi aur meri love story main bhi......iss ka kuch karna padega........

manik took his mobile and messaged cabir........

cabir's phone pinged with a message......he looked at the message and gulped hard......

saale apni wali ko rok.......use dekh ke tho aisa lag raha hai ki vo meri waali bhi uda le jaaye gi........aur agar aisa hua na tho i swear i will kill you with my bare hands and will donate your body parts to zoological museum..........

cabir gave a nervous look to manik and in return got a hard glare from our monster.........while fab3 decided to leave for cabir's house........

manik too got up......

manik : you wait at the entrance i will bring the car..........

he went from there not before giving cabir " stop your madhubala " look......nandini started walking towards entrance and navya was about walk towards her when a hand stopped her........

navya : cabir humara haath chodo.......

cabir : nahi......jab tak tumhari akal nahi aayegi tab tak nahi chodunga........

cabir ( in mind ) : yaani ki zindagi bhar pakde rahoonga........* haww very bad cabir...hehe...*

navya : matlab.....

cabir : dikhayi nahi deta kya......manik and nandini should spend some lone time so they can get to know each other.......aur tum ho ki........

now realization hit navya........she slapped her head.........

navya : haan....ye tho hum bhul gaye.....lekin hum kaise jaayenge............

cabir cleared his throat as if suggesting something.....* my readers already got to know about it i guess...*

navya ( ignoring cabir and blabbering ) : humne tho ramu kaka ko bhi jaane ko bol diya.......

cabir again cleared his throat........

navya ( still blabbering ) : aur iss waqt taxi ya auto bhi nahi milegi...........

cabir getting irritated came in front of her and snapped his fingers.......

cabir : yaar maanta hoon ki manik ke jitna tall nahi hoon lekin meri bhi height theek thak hai.........aur main fir bhi tumhe nahi dikh raha.........

navya : huh......

cabir : agar aap bhul gayi tho main yaad dila doon.....i have a car......and we are going to my house.....so i can drop........

navya had no choice but to agree.........

cabir : you wait here i will get the car........

meanwhile at the entrance.........

manik came with his car and opened the passenger door for nandini.........

                                        ( manik's car....)

nandini : manik wait some time......navya abhi tak nahi aayi........

manik made a bad face.....and dragged nandini and made her settle in the passenger seat.........and drove the car.........

in car........

nandini : manik tum pagal ho.....hum navya ko waha akele chod ke jaa rahe hai........

manik ( irritated ) : tumhari friend bacchi nahi hai......aur cabir uss ke saath hai......vo navya ko leke aaye ga.......aur haan please stop your navya rant......har waqt navya navya navya.........aisa lagtha hai ki tumne usse shaadi ki hai mujhse nahi.....huh......

nandini widened her eyes and glanced at manik......he made an angry pout.........

nandini ( amused ) : manik are you jealous.......aur vo bhi......because of navya......seriously.......

saying this nandini burst out laughing.......while manik who earlier was annoyed..... was now admiring nandini's carefree laugh...........

in space........

cabir brought his car and navya opened the back seat door to sit.........

cabir : oye matarani ki pujaaran.......driver nahi hoon tumhara aage baitho........

navya huffed in anger and closed the backseat door with a thud and sat in the front seat...................* i wonder how peaceful the journey to dhawan mansion will be....note the sarcasm.....*
