i know i said i am busy this week.......but i got some free time......so thought to write this update😊.........

some times just the act of sharing a painful secret can relieve some of the pain.........

manik left from there to cabir's house to share his inner turmoil with him.........he went to cabir's house to see him at the dining table eating......* bhukkad *.........

manik went and settled beside him......cabir noticed him but concentrated on eating......manik decided to tell every thing to him.......

manik : cabir yaar....vo i need to say some thing.........

cabir gestured him to say while he enjoys his food..........

manik : you made those contract papers remember.........

now cabir stopped eating and fully turned to him...........he was grinning widely like a Cheshire cat........

cabir ( in mind ) : hmm....so manik baba finally realized that i did a favor on him.....come on cabir now he will praise you.....hayyee taras gaye mere kaan manik malhotra ke praises sunne keliye...........

( my ears were waiting to listen manik malhotra's praises......)

cabir : bol bhi do ab.....

( tell me.....)

manik : vo...vo......

cabir ( in mind ) : yaar itna time kyu le raha hai ye.....itna time tho ladki ko propose karne mein bhi nahi lagta.......

cabir : accha manik take this glass of water.....drink and then tell me what you want to say........

he said handling him a glass of water.....but manik nodded in no......

cabir : theek hai tho then i will only drink.....vaise bhi we should not waste water.......

cabir was drinking water......

manik ( took a deep breath ) : maine contract papers phad diye.......

( i tore the contract papers......)

and whoosh the water came out of cabir's mouth like a fountain...........* tch tch tch bada aaya PANI save karne wala.......*

manik ( made an eww face ) : chee cabir....i agree your food habits are like your monkey ancestors but at least drink properly..........

cabir : salee....first you give these type of shocks and then expect normal reactions haan......and here i thought you will praise me for making that contract........

manik : seriously cabir......for that stupid idea you expect praises........

cabir : ek tho help karo ab taane bhi suno...ab nahi karni help teri .....tu na bhaad main jaa..........

manik : oye....main kyu jaaun bhaad main......tu jaa......

before they get into their pre kg fights cabir decided to act mature.....* wow...what a miracle......iss story main kaafi impossible cheeze ho rahi hai......*

cabir : accha fine.....tu bhaad main mat jaa....main bhi nahi jaata.....yahi beth ke baat karte hai......

manik : okay......

cabir : accha what is the reason behind this caveman act of your's......?

manik then narrated all that happened today...........listening this cabir understood why he reacted that way.................

manik : i don't know.....seeing  her smiling at him....makes my blood boil.......i just want to burn his body or take out his eye balls so that he wont even get to see my nandini........

cabir ( amused ) : ek second......put a hold on your murder plans and think what you will say to nandini about your caveman act.......

manik : i don't know.......

cabir : manik i think you should give this marriage a chance........

manik : what.....cabir you are saying this.....you know after........

cabir : manik i know.....but till when you will keep avoiding relationships.......you have to move on.......if not you will be scarred for life.......nandini....she is perfect for you.........

manik : but will she understand me after hearing my past.......

cabir : of course manik........she will..... trust me.....just listen to your heart......

listening cabir's words manik smiled and nodded and left to meet nandini.......

cabir ( in mind ) : thank god.....finally their story came on track........

nandini's room.....

manik entered inside but did not find nandini.........he searched for her in the entire house.....but still she was no where........fear started settling in manik's mind.....

manik ( in mind ) : where are you nandini......did you also leave me.......like others.........no no i can't let you go....not now not ever.......

manik decided to call her but her mobile was switched off.........

manik ( in mind ) : damn it nandini.....where are you......?....navya....she might know where nandini is......?

he opened his contacts but realized that he din't had navya's number.......he called cabir.....

call conversation......

cabir : you both sorted out this soon.......

manik : no cabir.....nandini....she is missing.....i tried calling her but her phone is switched off........

cabir : manik....call navya she might know where nandini is.......

manik : i don't have her number......

cabir : yaar....don't worry i have her number.....i will send it......

manik : achha......send it quick.....

call ended.........

cabir sent navya's number........but soon realized his blunder......he prayed to god manik does not notice it.........

manik got the number but he frowned as how come cabir has navya's number.....but decided to ask him later as right now nandini was his first priority.........

manik ( on call ) : hello navya......

navya : manik......

manik : vo me and nandini had a little fight and now nandini is missing.....do you know where she can be.........

navya : what.......

manik : i know you are angry but first please tell me where she can be..........

navya : she must be in marine drive.....she goes there whenever she is upset.....and manik you better sort it out.......

manik : yes navya....thank you......

manik reached marine drive to see nandini looking at the beach........she was looking at it blankly......as if she hid all her emotions from the entire world..........manik settled beside her......nandini felt his presence but did not turn to him.......

manik ( looking at the beach ) : you know nandini why i have trust issues..........

listening this nandini looked at him as she wanted to know........manik knew she was waiting for him to speak so he continued.......

manik : when i was small i had a very happy family....mom dad and me.........though we were not that rich we were happy and content being with each other...........but every thing started changing from the day dad wanted to extend his buisness........he made a branch of malhotra industries in pune too because of which he had to make frequent trips to pune.....soon our buisness started prospering and it became hard to manage so he started staying there and would come to visit us whenever he could.......but we started missing him........these long distances started causing a rift between mom and dad..............soon misunderstandings happened between them.......mom used to complain that he is not giving them time.....and dad used to say that it is difficult to come because of work...........soon their fights turned serious and dad decreased his visits and mom started staying out with her friends.........but in all this they forgot about their son who needed their love and attention........i was only 6 years back then.......

he took a pause to wipe his tears which started flowing as he was finally sharing his pain with someone......no one knew about this except cabir not even fab3.......nandini also looked at manik teary eyed..........she never thought that he had to go through so much when he was no where at fault.........she held his hand as a sign to show him that she was there.......feeling her hand manik looked at her......she thought that may be he did not feel comfortable.....she was about to remove her hand when manik held it tighter and entwined their fingers.......

manik : it did not end there.......it was my 8th birthday.....after lots of pleadings dad agreed to come to my birthday.......i was happy......my dad....my superhero was coming.....i knew that this birthday would be memorable.....it is memorable but not in the way i wanted.........dad came.......halfway through the party every thing was fine.....but then soon they got into a fight and this time it turned out to be a big one.....they almost decided to go for a divorce......

Manik chocked while speaking the divorce word.......while nandini closed her eyes feeling his pain and her grip on his hand tightened........

manik : they din't even think of me before deciding to break their ties.......but soon my grandparents stepped in to handle the matter and they stopped them from taking a divorce.....they asked them to stay together at least for my sake.......mom realized how she ignored me.....she apologized and came back to me.......but dad he never came........whenever Dada dadi used to ask him to come home.....he used to say that he is busy as he wanted to give me a secured future.......but i did not want money i wanted my dad.........then one day he came and sent me to London for my studies...... and when i returned he came back to us but till then i lost my superhero forever......we eventually became distant.....from then on it was me..mom and fab4.......

after his confession there was a silence between then and this time it was not awkward.....it was calm and soothing......it was giving their souls the much needed peace.......

manik : that's why i did not want to get married......i was afraid that even i would have a strained relation like them.....i did not want that......that is why i decided to have a contract marriage.......but now.......i don't want to......i know i feel something for you........i want to know about you......i want to know the real you........i want to live a life time with you nandini......i want to give this relation a chance......?......will you give this relation a chance nandini.........?

nandini was in dilemma....she din't know what to do.....she was the one who did not want to bring him in her messed up past......she took a deep breath and looked into his eyes......she could see a myriad of emotions floating in his eyes.......honesty....trust....admiration and also a fear that she might say no.......she closed her eyes not able to bear the intensity of his eyes.......there was a war between her mind and heart........

and for the first time she decided to listen to her heart.......she leaned close to him and put her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes......manik froze for a second but then he got her answer...... he smiled brightly and wrapped his arm around her and breathed a sigh of relief.......both felt peace in each others arms........
