One Day

It was Nandini's birthday. Manik and Nandini were sitting in their tree house and watching sunset together, when Manik said,

Manik:- Nandini we are best friends, right?

Nandini:- yes of course. Why are you asking Manik?

Manik:- Then promise me that we will never go away from each other.

Nandini:- Promise. Manik it's too late, now we should go home.

Manik hold Nandini's hand and said,

Manik:- Wait a minute, I got something for you.

Then he pulled out a pendant which was in love shape and gave it to her.

Nandini:- What is this Manik?

Manik:- It's your birthday gift.

Nandini opened that pendant and saw there were two pictures. One picture was her and another was of Manik's.
Nandini was so happy to get such a beautiful gift from Manik. She hugged Manik in happiness and said,

Nandini:- Oh! Manik it's so beautiful. I loved it. Thank you so much.

Manik:- (excited) really? Then wear it na.

Nandini tried to wear it but couldn't hocked it up, seeing this Manik took that pendent from her and said,

Manik:- let me help you.

Manik made her wear that pendent and her happiness no knew bound.

Manik:- never remove this pendent from your neck, okey?

Nandini:- (smiled) okey.

That's how time passed away, but their friendship never changed. It grew stronger day by day.

10 years later
At Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata.

We can see few boys fighting, but why? Let's get into the flashback.

First day at college,

Few boy were sitting on stairs of Management Department. They were ragging the first year students, when two girls entered inside.

Boy:- Hey girls, come here.

They came to them just like some obedient student.

Boy:- what's your name?

Girl 1:- I am Nandini Murthy.

Girl 2:- and my name is Navya Navily.

Boy:- First year?

Nandini/Navya:- Yes.

Boy:- I am Sahil Deshmukh, your senior.

Nandini:- Hello sir.

Sahil:- (angrily) What hello ha? Don't you know how to respect your seniors?

Navya:- Sorry sir.

Sahil:- Now greet us properly.

Nandini and Navya looked at each other then said,

Nandini/Navya:- (bowing head) Good morning sir.

Sahil:- that's okay. So girls what's your hobbies?

Navya:- My hobby is watching movies.

Nandini:- I like dancing and singing.

Sahil:- Wow that's impressive. Now dance for us.

Nandini:- (nervously) Here?

Sahil:- Unfortunately we don't have stage for you so you have dance her only.

Nandini:- what about music?

Sahil:- Don't you have a phone?

Nandini:- yes sir I have.

Sahil:- then Play music and dance.

Nandini:- Okey sir.

Nandini played a classical music in her phone and started doing classical dance. But seeing this Sahil got angry and said,

Sahil:- (shouted) Stop it.

Nandini:- what happened sir?

Sahil:- Show us some item dance.

Nandini:- but sir I don't know item dance.

Sahil:- Aww poor girl doesn't know item dance. No problem, come we will teach you.

Sahil was about to touch Nandini's face but suddenly his someone held his hand and twisted it badly. Sahil shouted in pain and hearing this his whole gang came there.

Sahil's friends:- Hey you, who the hell are you?

Boy:- I am Manik Malhotra.

Sahil's friends:- whatever, just leave our friend, otherwise....

Manik:- otherwise what?

Sahil's friends:- He won't understand like this. Let's teach him a good lesson guys.

And they started fighting, when Cabir, Abhi also joined Manik to save their friend. Whole college students gathered there seeing their fight.

Right now all of them were standing in principle office in front of principal.

Principal:- Is it a college or a fighting club? May I know why the hell were you fighting?

Manik:- Sir they were raging my friend, that's why....

Principal:- you could have come to me and complained against them. I would have punished them. Anyways it's your first day at this college that's why I am forgiving you this time. But remember if you repeat it again you will be punished for sure.

Manik:- okey sir.

Principal:- And you Sahil, this behavior of yours won't be tolerated. You are suspended for a month and if I find you again ragging first year students then I will kick you out of the college, understood?

Sahil:- (bowing head) sorry sir.

Principal:- now leave.

As soon as the boys came out of the principal office Nandini held Manik and started beating him with her books.

Nandini:- Duffer who told you to fight with them?

Manik:- Nandini, Nandini stop it.

Manik tried to stop her by holding her hands but seems like she wants to empty her all energy by beating him only.

Navya:- Meghan leave him and let's go we have classes to attend.

Cabir:- Yes Nandini, leave him. He won't change for good.

Abhi:- but guys please be careful. This time we are saved. But next time if we get into any fights in college then principal sir won't leave us.

Manik:- okey guys I will try to avoid fights from now. Thanks for being with me like always.

Cabir:- O hello in friendship there is no sorry and no thank you, understood?

Nandini:- By the way where is Mukti?

Cabir:- she went to meet our grandparents, will join college from tomorrow.

Navya:- Thank God she isn't here today, otherwise she would have broke Sahil's nose for sure.

Abhi:- (scared) yeah, she has dangerous punching skills.

Cabir:- chill dude, she only punch those jerks who actually deserve to it. But I don't understand, why are you so scared of my sister? As far as I know she never punched you yet.

Navya:- I think he loves her.

Abhi:- (shocked) What???

Navya:- yeah, that's what happens in movies right?

Cabir:- Ms. Navya Navily, if you again start talking about your movies again, I swear I will push you down from the top floor of this building.

Hearing him Navya immediately zipped her mouth being really very scared of his threat. Such a dramaqueen she is!

Nandini:- (angrily) shut up Cabir. Navya come, we are getting late for our classes and boys don't you have classes to attend?

Boys:- yeah, going.
