Day 2:

After the dance we went backstage and after an awkward silence, I said,

"Thank you Manik. Tumne mere saath.."

He cut me in between and held my hand,

"Tumhare liye itna to kar hi Sakta Hun"

We had a small eye-lock until,

"Bahut hi acha dance Kiya tum dono ne"

Taiji came and said.

We thanked her and the day ended with me thinking about these feelings.

Day 3:

Like the normal routine these days,
We got ready and started preparing for the function. Thankfully, we had time to rest today as mehendi ceremony will be in the evening.

I was lying down in my room when I was thinking about these two days. The boy I have a crush on is with me in a wedding. He is guy who never spoke to me..and now he took me with him to buy a gift. He gave ME a gift!
Does he like me?

I mean..is it like or more than that?

I looked up surprisingly to see Alu di.

I said.

I said now, to cover up!

"Mujhse to tu chipa hi mat. Jabse Manik to dekha hai, Fangirl Jaise behave kar Rahi hai. Mukti di aur Abhi Jiju se zyada to tumhari chemistry thi stage par! Aur fir bol Rahi hai ki kiski baat kar Rahi hai?"

I was looking at her with my mouth open!

Itna wadda siyappa!

Matlab, my stupid actions are visible to everyone!

Matlab Manik Ko bhi visible hoga.

I tried to say in my mind, but ended up saying it aloud.

Now alu di was looking at me like she is a police who just caught a criminal.

"Fine! Okay..I have always had a crush on him. We never talked before meeting here. And now, after spending so much of time with him. I am confused..no..very confused ki yeh like hai ya love? I mean..woh jab touch karta hai to butterflies feel Hoti hai. Jab dekhta hai to uski aankhon mein kho jati Hun. Ye pyar hai ya infatuation! Samajh me hi nahi aa Raha hai di"

After this long long confession, alu di just smiled and held my hand. After a break, she said,

"Main janti Hun, ki teri age me ho pyar lagta hai woh infatuation hi hota hai. Par, Nandu, Teri aankhon me Ko hai na..woh pyar hai! Sacha wala! Forever wala!"

I kept looking at her mum.

"Tu Jaise uski choti choti harkat se khush Hoti hai. Jaise, uska touch tujhe lust nahi, sirf pure lagta hai. Ye pyar hai Nandu! Mujhe bhi believe nahi ho Raha hai. Itni si Umar me tujhe Sacha wala pyar ho Gaya hai!"

I looked at her shocked as she completed her explanation.

I LOVE MANIK?

Ye crush kab love ban Gaya pata hi nahi chala!

"Par kya woh bhi mujhe pyar karta hai??"

I asked her.

"Dekh, sach kahu to uski actions se to yahi lagta hai par still, you should tell him about your feelings. Tabhi Sab pata chalega."

It was mehendi time in the evening now and I got ready in some simple clothes. Although ladko ka kuch Kam hai nahi isme par Manik ki Mom mehendi lagwaengi to woh bhi ayega!

"Chal Nandu, mehendi lagwale"

Mummy said.

"Mehendi? Main Kyun! Nahi Mumma ap San lagwaoge, to Kam kon karega? Khana kaise khaoge and waise bhi mujhe nahi lagwani ye mehendi!"

I said and Mummy stomped off angrily.

Haye meri cute mummy!

I turned around and ek bachi mujhse takra gayi and I was about to fall when Manik, saved me.

My heart beats increased again.

"Sorry didi"

She said and went.

Sorry ki bachi. Manik nahi hota na to sunati ise.

"Oh shit"

I saw my hand in mehendi. Ye bachi bhi na!! And then I saw Manik's hand in mehendi!

Haye Rabba! Ab toh woh bahut gussa karega.

"I am sorry! I am so sorry Manik. Woh bachi..takra gayi. I am so..-"

Before I could become rajdhani express, he covered my mouth with his hand.

"Shhh! Koi baat nahi mehendi hi hai!"

He said and went away.

I just blushed and left because Mukti di Ko mehendi lag Rahi thi!

"Waise to aj kal koi Manta nahi hai beta. Par pata hai, agar ladka ladki Ko same mehendi Lage to bahut shubh hota hai yeh"

This sentence caught my ears and I just remembered what happened between Manik and I.

I looked at him who stood right in front of me and we had an eye-lock.

I broke it to avoid awkwardness.

Ab to ise batana hi padega, what I feel for him!!
