"Will you go out with me?"

What? Is he asking me out?

"Uhmm.. actually Mom asked me to get a gift for your di and Jiju. And I am not good at gifts and all.."

He said smiling sheepishly and ruffling his hair. Aww! How cute!

And yaha main pata nahi kya kya soch Rahi thi.

"Yeah, sure. Why not?"

I said and he asked me to meet outside.

I got ready in a plain white shirt with blue jeans and hair tied in a ponytail.

We went to a shop where there were many many gifts!

"Toh kya le hum unke liye?"

I was thinking when the shopkeeper said,

"Han sir, madam Ko gift Dena hai na. Oh chotuuuu! Woh girlfriend Ko Dene wale gifts Nikal!"

Manik and I looked at each other surprised.

"Nahi nahi! Bhaiya..hum friends hai! Aur hum dekh lete hai khud udhar!"

Manik said and I was just nodding my head.

"Manik, do one thing. Tum udhar dekho and main idhar dekhti Hun"

I said and we both went to two different lines.

Itna Sab tha..but nothing was perfect. I didn't like anything. I walked back out of the lane when I saw something on the front shelf.

Perfect!

I ran towards it and kept my hand on it when I felt another hand on it. I looked up to see Manik. We had an eye-lock, when I heard the shopkeeper say,

"Kon keh Sakta hai ki yeh pyar me nahi hai. Ek hi chiz dono ne pasand Karli."

I removed my hand and broke the eye-lock.

"Manik.. tum bhi..."

I said stammering.

"Han. Jaise hi ise dekha..bas bhag kar aa Gaya"

It was a dancing couple, inside a round glass thing. I know, it's not too fancy but I am sure they will love it. It had this romantic tune.

"Apne best gift Liya hai. Jiske liye use zaroor pasand ayega"

The shopkeeper was telling Manik and I was looking at beautiful earrings that hung on the side.

Unfortunately, I hadn't got money, because we were in hurry.

Manik payed the amount and looked at me. I quickly removed my hand from them and said,

"Chale"

Manik nodded and we moved out to go back.

"Uhh...Nandini, you sit in the car. Here..take this gift. Actually I forgot to take the change. I will be back"

I was confused but agreed with him and sat in the car.

"Han sir..kuch aur chahiye apko?"

The shopkeeper said when I went inside.

I nodded and took the earrings Nandini was looking at. I know she didn't tell me but she loved them.

"Pack kardo bhaiya aur Han..gift wrap karke"

I told him to which he replied,

"Bahut pyar karte hai lagta hai. Bina Bole hi samajh Gaye unki Dil ki baat"

I ignored his words this time and moved outside. I hid the gift and started going to the car.

"Han..aa Gaye Manik!"

I said and he sat in the car.

We were really late. Mummy ne to maar dalna hai aj. I didn't even tell her that I am coming.

"Aunty ko Maine bol diya tha, when you went to get ready"

He said looking in his phone.

Ye ladka bhi na! Bina kahe hi samajh Gaya.

That's why I love..uhh..like him!

The day ended like that and I told Mom I really loved a pair of earrings, but couldn't buy them because I forgot to take money.

"Kal Dunga ye tumhe"

I thought to myself. I am sure these will make her happy.

But, why do I want to make her happy?

I know, it's been long and it is a short update. But, I am just not able to write guys.

I feel weird all the time. Kuch karne ka man hi nahi karta.

So sorry, par ab nahi hoga! Promise.

You all tell me a day when I should update this.  I will try to update frequently.. but if I am not able to..atleast ek fixed day to update hoga hi!
