S..she loves him? I came out to talk to her but, when I noticed the site in front of my eyes, I was left baffled.

"Mihir" I shouted and they both looked at me. I pushed Nandini to the side, held his collar and punched him right in the face.

"How dare you? How dare you do this? Hun?" I started shouting.

"But, she is the one who asked for it." He said. My hand stopped mid way, in the air.

My grip on him started loosening and he, taking advantage of it, ran away.

"Manik! Why did you stop? Manik..kiss me!" She tapped my shoulder and said.
I stood up and before I could say something, she was resting on my shoulders.

"Nandini" I said in a low voice. Hearing no reply, I understood she was drunk. And that bastard, he didn't even stop her.

She thought it's me! Nandini tum mujhe Pehchan nahi payi!! Kaise Nandini? Kaise ho Gaya ye Sab!

"Please don't leave me Manik" I heard her mumble in the sleep.

How much I have broken her.

But what she did some time before, was wrong!

"Shaina, what are you doing?" I said as she dragged me into a room.

"Baby, you look so hot. I look so hot. We are in a room. What for? Don't act childish" She said opening the button of my shirt.

"Shaina, I have told you before also. I don't like all this" I tried to resist but she kept moving closer and I moved back until we hit a wall.

"You know, I feel so good when I tell everyone that you are my boyfriend." Her words disgusted me. She always used me to get popular, but I couldn't blame her alone. I too was the same, until I knew Nandini.

"Shaina..I-"

"Shh. Baby, why do you always spoil it for us. Don't you like it when I come close to you?" She whispered right near my lips.

I closed my eyes and said,
"No"

I felt her moving backwards and I opened my eyes, slowly.

"What? Kya matlab hai tumhara?" She asked.

"Well! Shaina. I want to break up!" I said closing my shirt's buttons.

"But why? We are all fine. We haven't even had a fight." She sat on the bed and shed tears. I did feel bad for her, but now, I will only think about Nandini. And staying with someone you don't love is not right.

"Shaina, I don't like you! I have never did" I said looking down.

"What? So all this was a drama? All this while?" She said angrily.

"I, I thought dating you would make me seem cooler in school but I realised lately that it's wrong! It's wrong to date someone who you don't like genuinely." She started crying and I went and sat near her.

"I am sorry Shaina! I know I have hurt you, but, I didn't want to lie to you anymore." She looked at me with a sad face. I felt so guilty. I hurt her. I hurt Nandini. I hurt Everyone.

"Can I hug you? One last time?" She said in between her tears and I nodded.

Unknown of her intentions, I felt guilty and here she was rejoicing because that's what she wanted.

"Manik" Nandini's voice broke my trance as I thought about that time.
I was the happiest after that break up and immediately ran to tell Nandini before I saw that sight.

I took her to a soda shop so she would feel a little better before we went to her home.

"Bhaiya, ek soda Dena!" I said and once it was made, I ran to the car.

"Nandini!" I said, but she was unconscious.

"Nandini" I shook her this time and said.

"Hmm..kya hai Manik!" How cute she looked when she was grumpy.

"Have this" I forwarded the glass but she pushed it slightly.

I then cupped her face and made her drink the soda forcefully.

"Chi Manik! I don't like this" She said and made faces. I laughed and we continued the journey to her home.

"Namaste aunty" I greeted as aunty opened the door. I hid Nandini behind me and said,

"Aunty, woh actually, kuch project ka urgent Kam hai, bas 5 minutes ka! Agar ap allow Karen to main aur Nandini...!" Please aunty. Han boldo.

"Ofcourse beta. Par aj ise kya hua! Aise to humesha bak bak Karti rehti hai."

"Woh aunty, actually na, wahan bahut dance Kiya isne! Bahut ...Sabse zyada! Toh isliye na, thak gayi hai! Aur fir itne log the battein kitni Karti hai apko toh pata hai! Toh bolte Bolte thak gayi!" Aunty made an ohh face and I felt relieved.

"Okay aunty hum Nandini ke room me jate hai!" She nodded and we went to her room.

"Nandini, go to sleep. So I can leave. Make it fast." I said and she nodded. She quickly changed into her night suit and came out. She lied on the bed and covered herself with a duvet.

"Such a good girl! Good night. Bye" I said and turned to leave when she held my hand. I turned behind and she said,

"Main tumhari har baat manti Hun, because I love you Manik. Please mujhe chodkar mat jao" At the end of her words, her grip loosened and she slept.

"I am sorry Nandini" I mumbled and left from there.

Next morning

*Nandini*

"Ahh" I woke up with a severe headache. I somehow got up to take shower because I couldn't miss school! Attendance people! It's the most important. :(

I was in the shower, relaxing a bit. I closed my eyes and saw myself, kissing someone. I opened my eyes In shock.

Kya Manik aur main? The thought made me scared and happy at the same time.

I closed my eyes again..

"Aj tumhe nahi Jane dungi Manik. Just tell me, kya hai meri galti? That I love you?" I pulled his collar and said. Our faces were inches apart.

"Nandini, I am M..-"

MIHIR! I..kissed Mihir! No. This can't happen. This hasn't happened. I am just imagining things. No!
And suddenly the water of the shower started mixing with my tears.

"I love Manik! Aur maine kaise kar diya!" I touched my lips and said.

I scrubbed my lips hard and cried in anger.

How could I do this? How could I ??

Isliye hi Manik mujhse pyar nahi karta! Mera khud par hi control nahi hai!

"I am sorry Manik. I am sorry. " I mumbled and cried.

"Shaina, my girlfriend" I remembered his words.

When he can have a girlfriend, kiss her and even..do..what not with her, why can't I ? Why is it wrong if I kissed Mihir?

Its not like I cheated on Manik! We aren't dating. He rejected me. Yes, I wanted my first kiss to be with him but agar ye ho Gaya drunk state me toh I won't regret! I won't.

I wiped my tears and went out of the washroom.

"Maa! Main school Jaa Rahi hu. Darwaza band karlo" I shouted and ran outside. I was late again.

Ye too much satyanash mere sath hi Kyun hota hai!

Ek toh pehle mujhe ye pata lagana hai who mixed something in my drink! Because maine to normal, mocktail Liya tha!

Although, I decided I won't regret about that incident but how will I face Manik? Ab kaise use akad dikhaungi? Aur Mihir? What if he comes in front of me? Kya hoga?

Haye Rabba! Bachana mujhe!

I thought and entered the school.
