"Nandini, project complete ho Gaya?" Sitting on the stairs, Navya asked.

"Almost navu." I forced a smile and said.

"Toh fir sad Kyun hai?"

"As if you don't know." I said angrily.

"Acha, I have an idea. Let's go to a party, today. My classmates will also come. Mihir, your friend? He will also come." She said. Hearing the name Mihir, I said,

"My friend? My foot! He has a big time crush on me..and i don't even talk to him. Isse pehle to main Jane ka sochti bhi, par ab bilkul nahi" That Mihir is after me since two years. Chewing gum ki tarah chipak Gaya hai.

"Fine! Maine to isliye bola because Manik and Shaina will also be there" I looked at her and said,

"Kab aur kaha?" She smiled and we went to her house to get ready, after the school.

"Shaina, what will I do there? Tumhare class ki party hai. Main..-"

"Shhh! Agar tum nahi jaoge to, mera man kaise lagega baby" Putting her finger on my lips, she said.

Waise bhi mujhe isse aj baat karni hai. I can't be in this relationship anymore. Isse acha mauka nahi milega mujhe.

"Fine, we will go" I said.

"I will get the shortest dress" She winked and went to get ready.

And unwillingly, even I got ready and we left for the party.

"Aj dekhna Manik, tumhe main kaise Apne close lati Hun" Shaina thought and smiled wickedly.

Late evening

"Navya, main ye nahi pehnungi. I mean, I am not comfortable wearing this dress there" I said looking at the dress Navya got for me.

"But you love such dresses?" Navya said and I bit my lip.

"I do! Par waha..tumhare class ke...-" She cut me in between and said,

"Mihir hoga isliye?" I looked down and she made me sit in the bed.

"Just because he likes you, it doesn't mean you won't wear something good na. Chalo go and get ready." I unwillingly wore the dress and we left for the party.

"Hi Nandini" Ho Gaya siyappa. Aa hi Gaya ye! I forced a smile on my face and turned around.

"Hi, Mihir" No doubt he was one of the most good looking guys in our school. Par Dil to kisi Ko de diya, ab isko kaise dun.

"You look marvelous" He scanned me from top to bottom.

"Uh, thanks." I said with an uncomfortable smile.

Kash Manik hota yaha!

"Hey Mihir! How are you brother?" Lo nam Liya aur aa Gaya. Kitna acha lag Raha hai.

Manik's look.

When I was scanning him, he looked at me and I instantly looked away.

"Oh! Hi handsome" Aa gayi chudail.

Shaina's look

"Hi Nandini" I felt like punching her. She is cheating on manik. Aur main kuch kar bhi nahi Sakti. I feel so helpless. Unwillingly, I greeted her.

"Baby, come let's go"

'Baby! Come let's go' I gritted my teeth and repeated her words under my breath.

"Uh, Nandini..main ati Hun thodi der me, woh mujhe kuch Kam hai" Navya said and before I could say something she left.
Now I and Mihir were alone

"Guys, let's dance" One of the girls shouted. Mihir asked me and I was about to say no when I saw Manik and that chudail dancing together, itna closely.

"Sure" I said and we danced. The whole time Manik looked at me but I was smiling and looking at mihir.

"Uhmm..drinks?" He broke the silence after we danced. Jealousy me Akar kya kar diya maine. Ab ise pata nahi kya lagega!

"I don't drink"

"Okay, we will have juice then" I nodded and we went to the bar.

"You order the drinks, I will just be back from the washroom" I said and went towards the washroom.

"Manik.." I heard Shaina and I saw her pulling Manik into a room and the gate was closed. My heart was pounding and I was so angry.

"Manik really loves her" Tears rolled down my eyes and I left from there.

I went to the bar and Mihir wasn't there. Without caring, I drank atleast three glasses of juice. I pretended as if I am drinking alcohol and it will make me feel better. Stupid me. I know.

"Nandini, are you fine?" Mihir said coming to me.

"Kyun?! Kyun Aisa karte ho tum? Han? Why?" I said crying.

"Mujhe Sab blurry blurry Kyun dikh Raha hai?" I held my head and said.

"Nandini, I think you drank cocktail!" He said. I didn't say anything.

"Come, I will drop you home" He held my hand and I walked with his support.

We were going out when I jerked his hand and went near a wall.

"Kyun Aisa karte ho tum. Kabhi bolte ho tumhe farak padta hai kabhi us Shaina ke sath.." I cried my heart out.

He came towards me and cupped my face, "Nandini tum, tumhe rest ki zaroorat hai, you be here. I will bring the car"

He turned to leave when I held his hand and pulled him towards me,

"Aj tumhe nahi Jane dungi Manik. Just tell me, kya hai meri galti? That I love you?" I pulled his collar and said. Our faces were inches apart.

"Nandini, I am M..-"

"Shh!" I said.

"I love it when you look at me. I love it when you are with me. Tumhari jealousy, your touch. I love everything" I said, almost in a whisper. I took his hands and put them around my waist. I encircled my hands around his neck and said,

"Don't you like me?" I asked.

"I like you too Nandini" He said and I smiled. I moved closer to his lips and his grip around my waist tightened.

"Kiss me, please!" I said and the next moment his lips were on mine. Our tongues mingled with each other's and my hand went in his hair.

"I love you!" He said in between the kiss and I smiled.

"I love you too"

Nandini's first kiss! With Mihir.

I know you all will hate me for this but a reader told me, when boys can have their first kiss with someone else, why can't girls do?

Just think about it and I am sure, you will understand.

I am writing this story to show something relatable and it's not true that girls always have their first kiss with the love of their life. Right?

Just trust me and I am sure Manik won't have a problem when he gets to know too. Because he has kissed Shaina too!
