Manik who was sitting beside Nandini who was sleeping right now.A warm smile is formed on his face seeing her angelic face which is shining in the moonlight.

Manik's pov:

I never imagined in my life the person with whom I fight at the very first meeting ...will one day become my life..i never know that for her I could come back from my death I never imagined

I still remember that brave mode of yours

Flashback:

Manik was practicing basketball at the basketball court .He was about to throw the ball in the basket

"Manik Malhotra"he got startled by the sudden voice and his basket missed he cursed the caller under his brath and turned to see Nandini standing folding her hands across her chest.He smiled seeing her tiny figure ...she was looking cute in the jeans and top and hair hung loosely on the shoulders.

For a moment he got lost in her ...but he controlled himself.

"What is it?"he asked turning back

"I m here to ask will uh apologize for your mistake or not?"she asked raising her brows

Manik chuckled sarcastically"Tum ab bhi uss baat par aatki ho!"he asked in disbelief

"Yes!Now tell me will u apologize or not"

"NO...Never "he said turning back trying to aim the basket

"Ok then I will show this video clip to the principal and he will show it to your dad"she shrugged

"What clip?"he asked raising his brows

"This !"she said showing him the clip on his phone

In the clip Manik and his friends were partying in the chemistry lab

"You will not do that"he warned if his dad comes to know about it then to he is dead for sure.

"maybe ...if you will apologize"

"No I will not"

"Ok then I will show it to them !"she said keeping the lollipop which in her mouth

"you will not"

"I will manik malhotra u can try me"she answered casually and turning to leave

"Wait!"she turned

"sorry"

"huh?"

"sorry"he gritted his teeth

"Tch manik aisa lag rha hai ki tum kisi ko dara rhe ho..just say with a little love"she said

"I am sorry"he said

"Hmm not that good but ok"she said turning

"Wait"she stopped without turning

Her breath became uneven when she felt his warm breath on her ear

"This time u win ...but not everytime babe"he whispered in her ear sending shivers down her spine.And kissed her neck the phone she was holding fell down her hands feeling his lips on her skin.

He came infront of her who was breathing heavily looking down ...he forwarded her hands towards her face making her more nervous ...he hold the lollipop stick and pulled out it from her softly.She looked towards his chocolate brown orbs.He smirked and kept the lollipop in his mouth and left leaving Nandini.

Manik smiled remembering his past ...

Flashback:

Nandini and Manik were attending the lectures stealing glances of each other. When the teacher announced about the assignment .In which they will be given a partner and they have to work together for the project.Listening to announcement Rudra wishes Nandini to be his partner whereas she prays that shivani should be her partner.Whereas shivani who has a crushon Rudra wishes him to be her partner

"So Nandini"the lecturer announced her name your partner will be "Manik Malhotra"They both looked towards each other and nodded having no option wheras rudra cursed the professor

"Rudra Kapoor your partner will be Shivani "he said he nodded angrily

As soon as the teacher left every pair start talking about topic and all...shivani walked towards rudra who was looking at nandini who was slowly walking towards manik

"Hey Rudra"shivani wished he just nodded

"So ....."she said about the topioc whereas rudra was just glaring at manan who was talking

"hey"nandini said awkwardly

"huh?...hi"he answered and there was awkward silence again

"So what do u think on which topic should we work "manik asked

"mmm how about......"and they talked about the topic

During this assignment preparations our manan spend all their time together in the library..tehy become friends in the starting but they are unknown that what is between them is more than friendship.

Nandini's pov:

Manik is not coming ollege since 10 days nor Rudra I was trying to contact them but I don't have their number..dont know why I m feeling restless without him .I was walking with shivani who was talking continuously...I was listening her but honestly my mind is on only one person Mnaik why don't he came to college since last few days?

"Rudra!"shivani shouted I looked up to see manik and rudra walking through the main gate ....a blissfull smile formed on my face seeing him after so long but his face was dull.

Nandini without thinking ran towards him and hugged him closing her eyes.Rudra who was standing beside him fisted hiss hands in anger

"Thak god u r safa"she whispered

"Where were uh since last few days"she asked angrily broking the hug but manik without answering left from there.

"Manik!"nandini called

"Rudra what happened to him?"

Nandini's pov:

I walked into the library to see him sitting in the library looking into the book but I could feel him lost in his thoughts ..tears were filled in his eyes.Rudra told me that he has lost his parents 10 days back in an accident I know how it feels losing parents.

I with slow step walked towards him and sat beside him who feeling me .Wiped off his tears and stand to leave but I hold his hand

"Manik"

"Nandini leave my hand"

"Manik it's ok u can cry ..."I said softly I know he had not cried his heart out since his parents demise don't ask me why but I know...

"Nandini I said leave my hand"he jerked it and start to leave

"Manik I will be there for you always when uh need me I will be your side"I said to him who lft through the door I sighed and turned to pick my bag.

End of pov

As soon as she turned back to leave she was taken in someone's arms

"Manik "she whispered nd hugged him back

"Why !why they left me "he sobbed

"I was a bad boy I know but they could have punished me ...why they left me all alone "he cried in his arms tears fell down nandini's eyes too seeing his pain

He collapsed on floor crying"Why!"

"Why everyone always leave me ....no one loves uh ..no one wants to be with"he cried

Nandini kneeled beside him and kept his face

"ssshhh manik I m with uh na"

"No u will also leave me"he cried jerking her hands

"No no manik I will never leave uh"she said he looked towards him with tearful eyes

"I will be with you hamesha"she said

"Pakka?"He asked like a kid she nodded .....he smiled and took her in his arms who hugged him back.
