nandini wakes up in the hospital, with a cast on her leg and a shadow over her mood. Her overwhelming guilt makes her keep everyone at bay, most of all manik, who doesn't know why she's so upset. harshad, navya and shahid comes to visit, but she kicks them out, wanting to be alone. manik stands by her bedside as she cries.
After leaving the hospital, nandini continues to feel so guilty that she can't face anyone in manik's family. Nyonika convinces murty's to stay with them till nandini gets better and nandini tries to change their opinion by saying if maybe they should move, but mohin and sanjana reply saying that they're more worried about her. She keeps skipping dinner and never coming out of her room, and murty's and nyonika worries that she isn't eating.
Manik says he talked to her, making nyonika perk up. He says that he thanked her for making it so he couldn't go to space. nyonika frowns and takes away his dinner, saying that he can't eat either.
Nandini decides in a fit of angst to run away from home and packs a suitcase with a heavy heart. She sneaks out past the front door, only to find manik lurking in the yard.
He asks nonchalantly if she's running away, and when she insists he not stop her, he doesn't even pretend to try. He offers to carry her bag, in fact, since it looks heavy. He then says that he is going to participate in round two.
He muses that this past months were the most disruptive, crazy year he's ever experienced, never knowing what to expect and always encountering something new. She starts to say that she's sorry, but he adds, "...it was fun."
Nandini: "So...you're participating because of me?"
manik: "Not because of you. Because of me." He borrows her own words, saying that until, he wins he is not going to give up and plans on having some fun.
he asks to come back inside, and he carries her bag back upstairs. She asks if he's known all this time while she was feeling guilty that she had the accident by also damaging his car, and he nods like it's no big deal.
Nandini: "Why?"
manik: "Because it's fun. Why? And besides it was my car I don't have any problems why should you"
nandini: "No! I did have fun but still!"
manik: "I know it happens but I forgave you so smile."
She does a silent dance of joy by herself to celebrate.
Nandini decides to do a part time job at a store to avoid staying with manik's family
She tires herself out working late every night, until one day manik walks into the store. She gasps and hides, not knowing what to do, and by the time he comes up to the register, she greets him.
He's startled, especially when she asks him to take his own change, since she can't see anything with her hood zipped all the way up. Her boss happens to walk in right at that time, so she gets fired immediately.
Luckily, she comes upon a chicken shop with a Help Wanted sign. She starts going on deliveries right away, earning more money than she was before. She heads on one last delivery for the night, and ends up at her own house, delivering chicken to manik. She doesn't know what to do, so she greets him one more time, hood zipped up, scaring the hell out of him.
Next day in space
It's the time where the bands are going to perform once again for round 2
Raghav: "so we are back again with the same bands so I want fab 5 to come first as last time they got defeated so please come on stage and lets see if you can win this time"
All in unison: "Fab 5 fab 5 fab 5 "
Fab 5 took their position with great determination to win this time. Cabir started his drum beats followed by aliya joining in and mukti and dhruv with their guitar. Last but not the least manik closed his eyes and started his guitar and started humming softly losing himself in his music pouring all his unknown emotions out.

The song ended with nandini humming. She slowly opened her eyes and the first person she saw was manik who had a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes. Her thoughts came to a halt from raghav's voice.
Raghav: "wow...Once again they did it now let's see if harshad band will do the same trick and win"

During his song he had an eye lock with nandini who was avoiding his gaze. He was looking at her as if this song is dedicated for her. Manik was feeling jealous and didn't like his gaze on nandini.

Fab 5 shocked as how once again wings were at the same level as them but wings just cared that they won.
It was another day in space another day where bands will be competing and today it would be the decision time where the winner will be proud and loser will be defeated.
Raghav: "so guys yesterday in round two there were two winners today is the last and final round where it will be crystal clear on who's the winner cos from the last two rounds there is been a confusion and a completely different situation all together so let's see what happens today so as you guys know harshads band didn't win in either rounds so it will be completely waste of time asking him to perform again cos now he can't win so let the competition happen between all time winners fab 5 and the ones who are on fire ....wings. so let's call wings to come up on stage and perform"
Everyone was hooting and cheering for wings...today was the day and every single member of the bands were nervous and tensed even fab 5. ...strange right but life doenst always go with the flow.
Shahid started his drums and soha played her guitar. After few seconds navya and abhi joined in. Last but the least nandini played her guitar by closing her eyes.

Manik was looking at her. His gaze had a different emotion altogether the one he never experienced. The whole school ended up partying in the auditorium , where harshad is going to execute his evil plan by singing a song for nandini.
Harshad: "so guys as you all know fab 5 and wings won so I wanted to dedicate a song for someone special here in this special event"
Everyone started hooting and cheering for him. Harshad started singing with his guitar in his hand.

All the time harshad had his gaze on her and nandini was avoiding it. nandini stays slumped down in embarrassment, harshad sings and dances his heart out, and manik looks on. He laughs at first, looking down on harshad the way he does, but then when he gets close to nandini during the song, manik starts to get jealous.

The song ended. Manik couldn't control his anger anymore so started taking it out on nandini. He starts to publicly humiliate nandini for disrupting his life and having a crush on him. He relentlessly points out that she's written his name all over her books and everyone laughs, at which Nandini finally has enough and takes out her secret weapon.
She passes the picture around and manik freaks out. He snatches it and grabs nandini by the wrist and drags her outside.
He leans in close, and nandini starts to get scared, so she announces that all she did was get revenge because he took the fact that she likes him and used it to make fun of her in front of everyone. She tells him that she's done harboring her crush. She vows to forget him.
manik: "Forget? You're going to forget me?"
And with that, he leans in for a kiss. Nandini's eyes widen in surprise, and manik leaves, turning back to challenge her, "Try to forget me now."
Nandini slides down the wall in utter shock. In disbelief, she thinks to herself, "I. Kissed. Manik malhotra." Her reaction is so great because it's such a shock wave to her. He may have just kissed her to pull her strings, but it shakes her to her core.
The next morning, she wakes up with a girlish squeal. "God, I love that feeling of waking up the morning after something amazing happens. It's the best feeling in the world."
She wonders what to say, and how to act, thinking about how awkward it's going to be to see him. He comes out of the bathroom so she's forced to confront it head-on, but he's as mean to her as before, like nothing happened. She frowns, confused and hurt that she's the only one who's turned upside-down and he's the same as before.
He dashes off to school without her, and she meets up with shahid and navya on campus for lunch. Everyone's sporting a new look for college, and they aw at each other's grown-up changes. Nandini blushes at the sight of another couple kissing, and her friends get it out of her that she kissed manik.
On their way out, nandini almost gets hit by a car. The driver gets out, and it's none other than alya saxena.
alya: "are you ok"
Nandini: "yah...I am fine"
Nandini goes to find manik in his lecture hall, and is forced to do the awkward, "I was just dropping by..." when alya appears in the doorway. She asks if nandini is his girlfriend, to which he replies the equivalent of: "As if."
nandini can't believe his answer. But...what about...the kiss?
Alya invites him out for tea, but he declines and leaves. Nandini can't help but smile, and when alya sees her reaction, she couldn't stop but being mean.
