NIGHT AT MANIK'S ROOM

He was tuning his guitar and trying to make some new tunes...

his phone buzzed... he was so engrossed in the music that he didn't realize the phone call..!!

Nyonika just passes by his room heard the phone ring..

she enters his room..

Nyo- Manik..!!

he stops playing and looks at her..

MAnik- mom..! aap kab aayi..?

Nyo- tumhara phone baz raha hai..!

Manik- oops..! sorry mom..! i didnt realize..

she shift her sight towards the phone and smirks..

he looks surprised..

MAnik- kiska phone hai mom..?

Nyo- I think some Company call manik..!!

and grins..

Manik thought there is something fishy..

he snatched the phone from her..

Nyo- arey..

he looks at the caller id and blushes..

Nyo- company call hi tha na..!!

MAnik- yes..! aap jayiye..!!

Nyo- this is not fair manik..!! girlfriend ka call athe hi mom ko bhul jaoge..!!

MAnik- Mom..!! girl friend like seriously..! come on.. please..! aisa kuch nahi hai..!!

Nyo- ab nahi hai..!! par aage ho saktha hai na..!!

MAnik(blushes)- mom...!!

Nyo- oh my goodness..!! my son is blushing..!!

he smiles and blushes more...

Nyo- okay.. okay.. before you turn into complete red.. let me give  your privacy...

she smiles and leaves him alone..

he was  about to close the door...

she comes back.. he jerks a little..

Nyo- waise manik..!! when will you introduce her to me...?

MAnik- pehle mujhe bath toh karne dhijiye..!!

Nyo- oh..! sorry..!! all the best..!! goodnight..!!

MAnik- goodnight mom..

he closes the door and settles on the sofa and dials her number..

she answers his call within 2 rings..

Nandu- hello manik..!!

he smiles..

Manik- hai Ms.Murthy..!!

Nandu(stammering)- wo.. wo.. how are you..?

MAnik(surprised)- aaj hi toh mila hum..! itni  me kya ho jayega..? i'm good..!!

Nandu- okay..! and ha. dinner.. dinner  hogaya..?

MAnik- yes..!!  aur...

Nandu- aur.. aur..

Manik- come to the point nandu..!!

Nandu remained silent..

Manik- kuch bolna hai...?

Nandu- wo.. actually..! I'm sorry manik..!!

Manik- sorry..!! kis bath ke liye..?

Nandu- for the chachi's food..!!

MAnik- oh..! come on nandu..! thats completely fine..!

NAndu- no..! i really feel guilty..!

MAnik- dont be nandu..!!

NAndu- you should have denied it na..!

MAnik- I should have but i dont want to disrespect your chachi infront of my friends..!!

she smiles widely for his concern..

as there is no response from her...

MAnik- hey..!! you there..?

NAndu- thank you so much manik..!!

Manik- ab ye thanks kis liye..?

MAnik- tum kal bhi wohi khana lekhe aane wali ho..?

NAndu(chuckles)- kyu..! phir se khane ka mann kar raha hai..!

NAndu fakes an angry voice- what..?

Nandu(mocking)-  you mean..

Manik- kuch nahi...!

NAndu- okay..! then be ready for the same food..!

MAnik- what..!!

Nandu- ha.. kal mein  chachi se keh kar.. tumhare liye extra box pack kar dethi hu..!! okay..??

MAnik has no option.. so he agreed..

she chuckles herself..

Nandu- what are you doing now..?

MAnik- just trying to tune some new music..

NAndu- wow..!! you are  a guitarist right..!

MAnik- tumhe kaise patha..!

NAndu- first time when we met na.. i saw a guitar with you..!

MAnik- would you like to hear it..?

NAndu- i  would love to..!

he smiles..

MAnik- okay.. stay on line..

he turns on the speaker and kept his phone on the bed..

he settled with guitar on the floor and starts playing it..

he along with playing the guitar started singing too.. (my most favourite manan background song)

MAnik(smiles)- you're also a singer right..!!

Nandu- how do you know..?

Manik pov- shit..! ye kya kar diya maine..?

NAndu- manik..! why are you silent..?

she blushes..

she smiles and disconnects the call..

he too smiles stupidly holding the guitar completely lost in her thoughts..

His phone beeped with a whatsapp message..

it was nandini..

he immediately opened her message..

Nandu- it was lovely talking to you manik..!!

MAnik- pleasure is mine nandu..!!

his vision falls on her whatsapp display picture..

MAnik pov- koi bhi itna cute aur simple kaise ho saktha hai..!!!

he adores the pic for sometime and then saves it in his gallery...

he then notices her status..

he smiles looking at her status..
