Nandini was sleeping peacefully snuggling into the quilt. Where as our dear Manik was having shower.

It was just 7:30 and he is up already...smiling brightly wanna know why?

(Main kyun bataun? 😝)

He moved out of the washroom with towel wrapped around his waist. Water was dripping from his back. His gaze fell on Nandini who was looking so cute that he wanted to gobble her.

Smiling he went to her,he bent little towards her and placed his lips on her forehead and moved to change smiling.

He was humming a song and taking out his clothes from the wardrobe. Here Nandini slightly opened her eyes ...she wondered her eyes around but her eyes caught her man's sight.

She smiled looking at him busy humming and taking out his clothes. She slowly got up and sat properly.

Manik turned and saw her already awake...he smiled brightly and moved towards her asking

Manik:ohh...you r awake...good morning...

He pecked her lips making her blush...she also wished him morning...

Manik: how r u feeling? I hope u don't have weakness... yesterday night you threw up so much...

Nandini: I am okay...koi weakness nahi hai...but why r u awake so early? U toh wake up around 8 and all

Manik: ohh... don't tell me you forgot...

Nandini: what?

She asked being confused... Manik sighed and said

Manik: arey we have ur appointment today...

Nandini: Manik it is around 10 why u have to get up sp early...

Manik:ohh... I didn't knew....

Nandini smiled and said taking his hands in her

Nandini: it's okay...infact I am happy this time you will be with me...

Manik smiled and bobbed his head and said picking her up...

Nandini: ohh..what are u doing? Put me down...

Manik: shh... main bas washroom tak chod dunga yrr...

Saying this he entered inside the washroom and placed her on the floor. He moved outside and said before closing the door.

Manik: I'll get ur clothes...

Nandini: that's not needed...

But he didn't listen. He went and took out a normal clothes for her with her inners and knocked the door.

She opened it and he hand overed them.

Manik: ye lo...tell me if there is any need...

Nandini bobbed her head with a smile. He turned to go but she called him...he raised his eye brow asking what?

She guestuered him to bend down. He did and she pecked his cheek making him smile and blush. He left frok there pecking her forehead.

Manik came out and wore his clothes with smile. He then waited for Nandini and soon she came out in

She smiled looking at him..he moved towards her and held her hand.

Manik: are you okay?

Nandini:tch...Manik I said na I am okay...relax... Agar kuch aise feeling aayi where I don't feel okay...then I will inform you pakka...

Manik bobbed his head and they both headed down. Coming down he ordered one of the butler to make something for Nandini as she had thrown up yesterday.

Soon Shrikant also came down in his office attire. Nandini and Manik both wished him morning.

Shrikant: kya baat hai aaj bada jaldi uth gaya Manik tu?

He asked sitting on the dinning table to which Manik made a face and said changing it into happy one....

Manik: yes... because I am damn excited to meet my baby...

Shrikant smiled bobbing his head. Soon fab 4 came down along with Navya with Abeer.

Manik took Abeer from Navya and started playing with him making Nandini's heart flutter...

Cabir: oye ab de use...

Manik: tch kya problem hai...rehne de na...

Cabir: abey tera wala aayega na...so give him to me..

Manik kept denying at last Abeer started crying due to the loud noise making both Manik and Cabir scared...

Manik: ohh..kya hua tujhe? Why are you crying?

Cabir: de use...maine kaha tha..par nahi...

Cabir took Abeer from him but he didn't stop... Nandini and others shook their head in disbelief seeing them ranting on nothing.

Navya took Abeer from Cabir and said making him calm down

Navya: yeh tum dono ki vajah se ro raha hai...pagal ho itna kyun chilla rahe ho tum dono...huh...

Soon Abeer was calm down and looking at it both Cabir's and Manik's jaw dropped down.

They all had breakfast in peace...talking,teasing eachother. Shrikant smiled looking at his beautiful family that was growing with lot's of happiness.

He missed this everything when he was not there...he got tears which was noticed by Nandini who was sitting beside him.

She kept her hand on his shoulder making him look at her with tears...

Nandini: dad aap ro kyun rahe hai?

Listening her all looked at them... Manik also got up and stood beside him...

Manik: kya hua? Why are you crying dad?

Shrikant: kuch nahi...just yeh sab maine miss kiya...jab tum nahi the this was nothing...yeh log has bhi nahi rahe the aur ab dekho sab kitne khush hai... I am happy...and these are happy tears... I don't want this to break and at any moment...

All other smiled... Nandini and Manik hugged him from both side...and the rest also joined them.

They were looking perfect family and happy too. All the smiling face was worth watching.

Manik and Nandini were going to hospital for Nandini's appointment. Where as fab 4 went to the college.

More than Nandini Manik was excited scared. All the way he was bickering of baby.

Manik: Nandini will I be able to see the baby? Will they allow me?

Nandini:ofcourse Manik...they will...

Manik held her hand and entwined them with his...pecking her back of her hand and said

Manik: you know I was craving for this day when you told me about baby...and finally I will be able see my baby...

Nandini smiled and kept her head on his shoulder.

Manik: vaise will I be able to hear baby's heart beat?

To which Nandini looked at him and smiled bobbing her head to which he grinned like an idiot.

Soon they reached the hospital. Manik came out first and opened the door for her.

She came out with shawl wrapped around her body. Manik itself made her wear it just because he was scared that she might get cold due to rain.

Closing the door he held her shoulder and they both moved inside. They reached near receptionist and told them about the appointment.

The receptionist told them to wait as there is already a patient inside. Manik and Nandini moved towards the waiting area.

After 10 minutes Manik was rubbing his hands with his trying to cool himself.

Nandini chuckled looking at his actions. She held his hands making him look at her.

Nandini: Manik relax...abhi se tumhara yeh haal hai toh labour mein kya hoga?

Manik: I don't know...

He whispered. Their turn came. Nandini and Manik entered the doctor's cabin.

Doctor:ohh..hello Nandini..

Nandini smiled where as Manik frowned looking at a male doctor. The doctor smiled looking at Manik with frown.

Doctor: who is this guy?

Manik: Manik here.. Manik Malhotra.. Nandini's boyfriend.

The doctor nodded as he knew Nandini's case.

Doctor: so let's check ur bp and all

Nandini bobbed her head. The doctor guestuered to Nandini to sit beside him. Manik frowned looking at it.

Manik: why she needs to sit beside you? U can check her bp like this her sitting here...

Nandini: Manik...

She glared at him where as he frowned and doctor chuckled...he checked Nandini's bp.

Doctor did her normal check and all the time Manik was cursing the doctor in his mind.

Doctor: ur bp and everything is fine...now let's head to the ultrasound.

Manik became excited listening as he was egar to see his baby...he held Nandini trough her shoulder and took her to the ultrasound room.

A nurse was also there. The doctor told Nandini to lie down on the bed Manik helped her to lie down.

Doctor: now lift ur top...

Manik frowned and asked in anger

Manik: why?

Nandini: Manik...he is doctor u can't speak like that...

Manik:but why he needs you to lift ur top...no ways...

The doctor was smiling listening them... specially Manik's way of asking.

Manik: aap kya has rahe ho? I am not allowing you to do so...

Nandini sighed and looked at the doctor and mumbled him a sorry.

Doctor: well I am just a doctor Mr. Malhotra and I can understand ur feeling I have been through this...but this is important so let me do what I am doing...

Manik: but....

Nandini: Manik...

She gritted her teeths and glared at him making him quiet. The nurse helped her to lift her top,she applied the gel on her tummy.

The doctor roamed the machine on her tummy without looking at her body as his most of the concentration was on the screen.

Doctor: as you can see the baby is growing...his legs are slightly moving...

Manik looked at the screen there he could see his baby his slight features were visible.

Manik: the baby is so small...

Nandini smiled with tears...where as the doctor smiled and said

Doctor: yes...just 3 more months...ur baby will be in this world.

Manik: the baby is so small na Nandini...

He whispered to her to which she bobbed her head...

Doctor: would you like to hear the baby's heartbeats?

Nandini guestuered Manik to move and listen...he moved towards the doctor and the doctor gave him the equipment..

Manik wore it and the doctor made him hear the heartbeats of their baby... Manik for the first time happily cried hearing his baby's heartbeats...

Manik: Nandini I.. I can hear them...

Nandini smiled and bobbed her head...after few minutes they all came back in the cabin with broad smile on their faces.

Doctor: okay...so Nandini as you know u r young for the preganancy but you are way too healthy. Make sure that you eat healthy and don't exert urself.

She bobbed her head and Manik asked

Manik: are there any problems? As in yesterday night she threw up everything that she had...

Doctor: well that's common... no need to worry... Nandini I am telling you not to lift any heavy things...and u have to be cautious in these days now...okay?

Nandini bobbed her head and soon they left from there. Manik made Nandini sit beside him in car and started driving.

Manik: you know this was the best day of my life... I don't know how to express it... I could see my baby, I.. I could hear my baby's heartbeat...

Nandini smiled with tears looking at his all the excitement... Manik then turned towards her parking his car.

Manik: you know...the baby's heartbeats were like a music to me... I am for sure the baby will be a singer...dekh lena...

Nandini: jo bhi ho... I just wish voh tumhari tarah ho...

Manik smiled and pecked her forehead making her close her eyes.

Manik: thank you for this beautiful gift.

Nandini smiled and hugged him. Manik also wrapped his hands around.

Manik again started driving...he was still blabbering about baby where as Nandini was out of the world.

By the time they reached Nandini fell off to sleep. Manik smiled looking at her. He moved out and came to her side. Lifting her carefully took her inside.

Navya saw them.. first she got panicked but looking at Manik's smile she sighed and sat again.

He took her upstairs and placed her on the bed and made her sleep properly. He sat beside her tummy and kept his hand on her belly.

Manik:baby... I saw you for the first time... I am eagerly waiting for you to come in this world... I hope you are also eagerly waiting to come in this world.

He pecked her tummy and moved inside the washroom to fresh and up and soon he came out and saw her sleeping. He moved out closing the door.
