Manik and Nandini were playing with each other. Sometimes with pillow, sometimes with each other cheeks in between it they were stealing kisses.

Their moment was stopped by a knock. Manik stood to open it but Nandini pulled him back and snuggles into his embrace.

“What happened cuteness? Let me open the door.”
“No. once you’ll open toh sab tumhe mujhse le jayege. I don’t want that.”, she said and hugs him more tightly.
“But baby I thought you want more surprises. After all it’s your birthday.”
“Wo toh kal tha na. aaj ni. Aaj no going away.”, she said batting her lashes.
“So what? You’ve wished that you want to celebrate it so how can I let it go like this?”, he said kissing her nose.
Sadly she nodded and leaves him.
“Tumhara kuch ni ho skta.”, he said chuckling and went to open the door.
No sooner did he open the door, Nia and all girls barged into the room leaving a baffled Manik.
All went to Nandini and sat around her leaving no space for him. Rolling his eyes Manik spread his arms for Nandini. She silently stood and hides herself into his embrace.
“Manik. Leave nandi alone. We’re taking her for shopping and don’t you dare interrupt.”, Nia said dragging Nandini out of his embrace.
“Arey. Leave her Nia. I know Nanhi is close to you but usse ni jana shopping that too without me. No way. I’ll never let her go.”, Manik said again dragging Nandini on his side.
“Did I ask you? I don’t need your permission. No need to be her daddy, which you are clearly not, pati ho pati jaise raho.”, saying she dragged Nandini to her side.
“Excuse me. Who said that I’m not her father? Before her husband I’m her parent. Palla hai maine.”, he dragged Nandini to his side.
“O please shut your stupid thoughts. Let her live her life. Nandi is going for shopping and that’s final.”, she again dragged Nandini to her side.
“No. She is not.”, Manik dragged her to his side.
Like this they were dragging Nandini to their side continuously. All the other girls were chuckling laughing the show.
They got so engrossed in fighting that when Nandini went away from them they didn't get it.

Mukti went and tapped their shoulders.

“Kya hai?”, Both shouted together.

She points towards Nandini who was ready in her new dress and shoes.

Smiling she twirled and shows her new dress.

“Monstu. Nini. How am I looking?”, She said twirling showing her dress.

“Mera cuteness.”, Both said together.

“Monstu. Main nini aur sab k saath shopping me jau?”

He went to her and kissing her forehead said, “Ok. But with guards. And girls I'm warning you no one will leave her alone. You know bahut choti h yeh so ache se dhyan rakhna.”

“O shut up. She is not a kid. We and specially I don't need your lecture.”, Saying Nia dragged her out of room.

Alll reached mall where as Manik went to office.

As they reached Nia said, “Ok girls. After exact one hour we'll meet here. Everyone has their cards so shop as much as you want.”

All were about to separate when Nandini holds their hand and says sadly, “Mere pass card ni h.”

Nia smiled and answers, “Cuteness tere pass v card h. Check kar in your bag. Manik ne three cards diye hai tujhe.”

She checked and smiled. But then again sadly says, “But mujhe akele ni jaana. Please.”

Nia sighed and said, “Nandi. Listen. I know tujhe Manik ki habit hai but baby you have to grow up. You've money and cards. Go and shop. Guards are also there to carry for you fir kis baat ka tension? Pumpkin learn to be independent. Tujhe isliye main le kar aayi hu so that tu bina Manik k jina sikhe.”

She nodded in no and said, “ni. Monstu. Call monstu. Monstu chiye.”

“Nandi. Chup. Bachi ni h tu. You're 20 now. Manik har jagah ni rhega.”

Tears welled up in her eyes. Pushing everyone she ran out of mall.

She ran and sat inside the car.

She took out her mobile, which Manik has kept, and called him, “Monstu.”

“Nanhi. Jaan kya hua? Kyu ro rhi ho?”

“Monstu. Mujhe akele ni rhna. Mujhe le jao. Please.”, She cried loudly.

“Ssh.. ssh. Princess. Koi akele ni rhne dega aapko. You tell me kaha ho aap?”

“Car me.”

“Driver ko bolo Manik k office jaana hai.”

Crying she nodded and as per her order driver took her to Manik's office.

Manik was waiting for in the gate. Even the security has surprised looking Manik at the gate. As the car entered, Nandini get down and ran to Manik. He took her in his embrace and showered kisses on her face.

“Who left you alone jaan? Kya hua tha? Tell me.”

“Mon.. monstu.. I lived alone all these years. Ab akele ni rhna.”, She cried nodding in no.

Cupping her face she wipes her tears, “No mera baby. Akele ni rhna hai aapko. Monstu hai na.”

She sniffed smiling and hugs him.

Manik carried her in bridal style and took her to his cabin.

He sat taking her in lap.

“Shopping kiya meri jaan ne?”

She nodded in no and said, “Nini gandi hai. Bahut gandi. Mujhe ni jaana uske pass.”

“Nia ne kuch kiya?”

Nodding in yes she said everything.

Manik was fuming in anger but for Nandini he controls and said, “Chalo. Meri baby mere saath shopping pe jayegi. But usse pehle I've a surprise for you.”

“Mere liye.”,she asked pointing towards herself. He nods in yes.

He opens the file which was kept in front of them.

Nandini gasped and covers her mouth after reading it.

Her lips quivered and next moment she started crying badly hugging manik.

“Arey Nanhi baby I thought you wanted this. But tum toh ro rhi ho. Acha ok I'll cancel it.”

“No. Please. I want it.”, She said between her cries.

“Toh fir why these tears?”

“I'm happy. I'm very happy. How did you know it?”

“Bola tha na maine mere bache ko dur kiya tha par I never left you. I tried my best to keep an eye on you. Uss din maine dekha tha that shine on your eyes when you saw this doll house. So I had decided that main tumhe same house gift karunga that to real.”

“Thank you.”

“Thanks karna hai toh properly do. Smile. Wo v big one.”

She smiled a little but laughed when he tickled her.

“Ab chale shopping?”, He asked. She happily nodded in yes.
