Space canteen (9.45)

ManBir went to canteen and sat a t their usual place which is only reserved for Fab5. In the mean time Fab3 also came.

Mukthy : hey guys

Cabir : hey Mukthi ithna late kyu?

Mukthi : bas aankh nahi khula yaar.

Cabir : yahaan ek ko jaldi aankh khul gaya aur ek ko aankh nahi khula. Kamal hai bhai.

Mukthi : tu kiske main bat kar raha hai?

Cabir : ayr kiska Manik baba ka. He came to college at 8.30. can you believe it? (ever so dramatically).

( poor Cabir usko nahi pata hai ki uska Manik baba 7.15 se college main aayi hui hai)

Mukthi : kya hua Manik? Tumhe koi bukhar vukhar toh nahi hua na?

Manik : guys  tum log please yeh bakwaas band kar and consentrate on what Raghav said.

Mukthi : usne kya kaha?.

Cabir : usne kya kaha woh sunke tumhari  hosh uda e vaale hai.

Dhruv :aisa kya hua?

Manik : guys the thing is

Cabir : (interupted) ahh Manik tum in logo se batao tab tak main jaake kuch khaane ko leke aate hai nahi toh meri pet mein joh choova doud raha haina woh mujhe khaa jaega.

And he ran to get food.Fab4 looked at his retiring figure in disbelief.

Manik : ohk guys so basically the thing is we have to perform in the opening night of musicana.

Alia : ismein problem kya hai?

Mukthi : haa .itni si baat hai. Ismein kya problem hai. We will do it.

Manik :  will you guys please let me complete.

Dhruv : tu batao buddy.

Manik : so, we have to perform at opening night of musicana with NH3.

Fab3 : what?

Mukthi : you must be kidding right?

Manik : i wish Mukthi.

Mukthi : no this can't be happen. I will kill that Raghav one day.

Dhruv : Manik tum logo ne kya javab diya?

Manik : hamare paas koi option hi nahi hai. We have to perform with them.

Mukthi : no Manik i can't tolerate those idiots.

Dhruv : Mukthi, ham un logon ki vajah se apne music toh nahi chod sakte na. Ek hi performance toh hai we will do it.

Dhruv ki baat ka effwctdo logon par hua hai and those are Manik and Alia. But What are they thinking? Come lets see

Manik's pov.

Haa. Yahi sahi hai. Or vaise bhi agar Nandini ke saath zyaada time spent kar paongi toh i can understand this feeling too.

Alia's pov

Agar ham log saath practise kare toh Dhruv aur Nandini ko zyaada time saath spent karne ko milega. Aur Dhruv ko apni feelings samjhane main yeh help bhi ho jaayega.

At the same time Cabir come with food.

Alia : he is right guys.

Cabir : kya right hai Alia?

Alia : yahi ki we will performanc3 with them.

Cabir's pov

Yeh kya tha? Mujhe laga ye sunthe Alia zyada rect karega. Lekin yeh toh normally behave kar raha hai.
Kuch toh pak raha hai uska deemang main. Pata karna padega

His train of thoughts were stopped by mukthi

Mukthi : toh practise kab karna hai?

Cabir : kal se. Kyunki aaj NH3 main koi college nahi ayenge.

Alia : haa. Bhai bhi kahi chala gaya early in the morning. Jab mene pucha toh  kaha ki koi urgent kaam hai.

Manik's pov

Harshad kahi chala gaya. Woh bhi early in thw morning. Nandini bhi meri phone morning se nahi uda raha hai.Kahi Nandini Harshad ke saath toh nahi haina. What if he tries to harm her?

Mukthi : Manik... Manik

Manik : haa...haaa

Mukthi : tujhe kya hua? Kahaan kho gaya hai?

Manik : kahin nahi. Mein bas...

Cabir : sayad woh soch rahi hogi ki NH3 ke members ko handle kaise karogi? Haina Manik?

Manik : haa...

Dhruv : guys, hamare paas zyada time nahi hai. Opening kelie bhi practise karna hai. So i think we should practise.

Manik : Dhruv is right guys. Lets jaam.

Fab3 : yeah.

Mannath mansion

Harshad : yes guys. I am ready to tell my side of story.

There was a silence for next 5 minutes.

Harshad : i was 5 years old when i met Manik for the first time. My family shift to Mumbai for some business purpose. My father and Raj malhotra, Manik's father was friends.. So they came to our house to meet us.

(guys ab main jo bhi lighne jaa rahi hoon woh us din ki incidents hai.)

Flashback

Sexena Mansion

Malhotras and Sexenas are sitting in the living room. And our little Manik is sitting in Nyonik's lap with a grumpy face.

Swetha Sexena (Harshad's mom) : Nyonika kya hua Manik ko?

Nyonika : aaj mera Manu ka mood thoda off hai. Woh kya haina mera Mannu ne aaj tv pe guitar dekha. ur woh guitar seekhna chahte hai.

Rajeev Sexena : are itni si baat. Harshad haina taking classes for guitar. Manu tumhe Harshad sikhayega guitar .haina Harshad?

Harshad and Manik look at each other for a good minuit. Then Manik asked.

Manik : kya tum mujhe guitar shikhaoge?

Manik asked Harshad in todler+attitude voice.

Harshad : haa. (to Rajeev) kya main Manik ko apne room mein le jaon

Rajeev : haa kyu nahi.

Harshad : come Manik main tumhe apna guitar dikhaonga.( he forward his hands to Manik)

Manik looked at Nyonika and nodded positively then Manik takes Harshad's hand in his hand.

(guys i think i didn't gave you Harshad's age. Now Harshad is 20. That means he is one year elder then Manik. Now Manik is 19 and Alia is 18. Whwn the fb is happening Harshad was 5 year old. Manik was 4 year and Alia was a 3 year old small baby.)

Harshad room

Harshad : Manik it is my room. You sit on bed i will come with my guitar.

Manik nodded and sit on Harshad's bed.

After 2 min Harshad come with guitar and sat beside Manik.

Harshad : Manik yeh hai meri guitar.

Manik : can i touch it?

Harshad : of course.

Harshad helps Manik to hold guitar.

Harshad : ek kaam karthe hain. Maina yahan pass ek institute mein guitar seekh rahe hai. Tum bhi vahi aja guitar seekhne. Teek hai.

Manik : haa. Main dad se bataongi ki muje bhi vahan hi guitar seekhna hai.

Harshad : hmm. Manik ek baat puchun?

Manik : haa

Harshad : will you be my friend ? Woh kya hai na mujhe yahan koi friends nahi hai so bahut lonely feel kartha hoon. ( he said sadly)

Manik : are sad mat ho. Mujhe bhi koi friend nahi hai yahan

Harshad : kyu?

Manik : mujhe esa koi acha nahi laga friend banane kelie.

Harshad : toh mujhe bhi apna friend nahi banaoge (said with a sad pout)

Manik : maine esa kab kaha. I will make you my friend.

Harshad : sachi

Manik : haa muchi friend.

That time Nyonika call Manik as it is time for tgem to go back

Manik : toh friend main ab jaa raha hoon. Phir milenge

Manik start to move. Tabhi Harshad call him.

Harshad : Manik take this guitar with you.(handling him guitar)

Manik : kyu its your guitar na.

Harshad : haa its my guitar. But now you take it as a tokwn of our new friendship.

Manik smile ear to ear and hug Harshad.

Manik : I will always keep it with me always.

And it was the start of new friendship.

Flashback ends

Their friendship grown. Manik has angry issues and the only person who can control him was Harshad. Manik always trusted Harshad blindly. Manik knows Harshad will never judge him and protect him . And Harshad always proved it as right. Harshad never let any harm touch Manik. Even though he was just 1 year elder to manik but always treated Manik as his little brother and he created a protective layer around Manik. Manik, jab bhi was in a trouble first he go to Harshad.

When they were stidying 5th std they met Dhruv. He was bullied by some of the seniors. Harshad was the first one who noticed it and started fighting with those boys. Seeing this Manik also started to fight and the boys ran away. Manik and Harsjad noticed Dhruv was crying. They went and take him in a group hug. After this incident they never let anyone bully Dhruv. Bully kya they never even let anyone touch his shadow too.

Flashback

One day the trio was chilling at Dhruv's place. Manik noticed a guitar in his room . So Manik asked.

Manik : Dhruv kya tumhe guitar bajana aata hai?

Dhruv : haa mujhe guitar play karna bahuth pasanth hain. It gives me peace.

Manik : really. You know what  me and Harshad also love to play guitar. So kyu na ham ek band banaye?

Dhruv : band?

Manik : haa band. Maine tv pe dekha hai. People form a group and make music. Aur woh group ko band boltha hai.

Harshad : idea toh acha hai. Par hamara band ka name kya hoga?

Trio started to think.

Dhruv : how about  Band of Brothers

Manik : yes. Yeh acha name hai. Haina Harshad?

Harshad : yes. So aaj se ham hai

Trio :  Band of Brothers.

And the trio had a group hug.

Flashback ends.
