Space College Terrace @ 4.30 p.m

Navya entered the terrace calling for Nandini as one student informed her that Nandini is calling her, here in the terrace. So yeah she came here but she didn't see Nandini or any of the NH3 members. She was going to leave when she saw Cabir standing in the entrance of Terrace with a nervous smile.

Can you believe it? Cabir, i mean The Cabir Dhawan look so nervous that too infront of his Madhubala.

Seeing Cabir there Navya was somewhat confused. And looking at his posture her confusion only increased. Kya hogaya ise ab?

Cabir : (nervously)hmmm hi Navya.

Navya : hi

She said but from expression any one could understand that she is sooo confused.

Cabir didn't say anything for next 2 minutes so Navya thought to break the ice by herself.

Navya : Cabir kuch batana tha?

Cabir : huh?

Navya : nahi what are you doing here, kuch batana tha.

Cabir : nahi.

He said abruptly without knowing what to say.

Navya : ohh then i will go. Nandini was searching for me.

She said and started to move. But stoped when she felt a tug in her wrist.

Both stood there facing each other back.

Cabir : naraz ho?

Navya : (turning confusedly) kyun?

Cabir : (turning still holding her hands) woh jo kal maine Shahid ke saath...

He trailed out when he felt she became still. Her expression went rigid.

Cabir : look Navya i am sorry. Mujhe nahi pata main aisa kyun kaha. And if i hurt you because of it then i am sorry.

Navya : Cabir when we apologise for our mistake, we should do it with your whole heart.

Cabir : i am apoligising to you with my whole heart Navya.

Navya : agar aisa tha toh you would have apologised to Shahid, not me.

Cabir : are you even serious Navya? Why would i apologise to that idiot.

Navya : stop it Cabir. First of all stop calling him idiot. And secondly if you are really repenting then apologise to him because you hurted him not me.

Cabir : Navya, agar woh idio... (he stoped in the middle Navya's angry glare) i mean if Shahid is hurt because of me, then i am not at all concerned about it. I am sorry just because you are angry with me because of that stunt.

Navya : (she sighed frustratedly) look Cabir, you are not at all sorry for the mistake you did even now. First try to understand that saying sory to me is not at all needed. Because it has nothing to do with me. And secondly if you are not story for your mistake then you don't need to do this acting.

Cabir : (frustratedly) listen Navya i am really sorry because i hurt you. Ohk. So just accept it and don't expect me to apologise to your so called friend.

Navya : i don't need your so called sorry Cabir. I am not at all intrested in  it. If you are not repenting for it then doesn't hold any meaning. Uf yoyr ego doesn't allow you to apologise to Shahid then whatever we are talking now too is meaningless. So i am going.

Cabir : Navya why can't you understand that i am sorry becuase i hurted you.

He said angry holding her shoulders when she tried to leave from there which really pained her, which he could make it by her pained expression seeing which  he immediately left her shoulders and cupped her cheeks.

Cabir : sorry sorry sorry... Sorry Navya. I didn't mean to hurt you. Sorry.

He said getting panic. He was worried what if she leave him because he hurted her?

Navya : Cabir... Cabir...

But he didn't hear her. He was just ranting sorry to her for hurting her.

Cabir : ohh god. I shouldn't have hurted you... I am sorry Navya... I didn't mean... I really didn't mean o hurt you... It just happened without mu knowledge.. I..arghhh... Why i always hurt others..

Navya didn't know what to do. It was first time he is seeing the ever time prankster in this state. And she did what she thought will help him.

She hugged him her all the love and care which really helped him to calm his throbbing nervous as he hugged her back tighly.

Navya : (still in the hug) calm down Cabir. I kniw it was just an accident. You don't have to say sorry.

Cabir : Navya, please don't walk out from me. Please. I know i am a jerk sometimes. Main aisa hi hun Navya. I can't change just like that. But please... Please don't leave me. I will try ohk.. I will try. Please be with me.

She was surprised for sure. Why he sound vulnerable all of  a sudden? The Cabir Dhawan she know was a very brave guy who dares to do anything. But now his cracking voice saying another story altogether.

Only if she know how broken he is from inside and his carefree side is just a facade.

Navya : (caresing his back and hair) i am not gonna leave you Cabir. You don't have to worry. Please.

Cabir didn't said anything but just tighten his hold. After 5 minutes she broke the hug and cupped his left cheek while she hold his right hand in her left hand.

Navya : but you have to understand Cabir agar ham galti ki hai toh uske saza bhugadna padthe hai. (if we did any mistake then we have to bear the punishment too)

Cabir : but i am saying sorry na

He said pouting like a child to which Navya smiled.

Navya : par i am not the one who you hurt.

Cabir : i hurt you. Thats why ypu git angry na.

Navya : (raising her eyebrow) kisne kaha that i was angry with you.

Cabir : (cringing his eyebrows) arey isiliye hi toh you left yesterday without even meeting me. Maine tumhare jam room mein aaya tha to meet you. But you weren't there. And hostel mein toh woh boodha aadmi didn't let me enter only.

Navya : (widening her eyes) you went to hostel? But why?

Cabir : arey to apologise to you. Aur kya?

Navya : (giggling) really Cabir. You could have called me.

Cabir : uskelie phone number chahiye. And i don't have your number with me.

He said irrutatingly to which Navya laughed out loud.

Cabir : now don't laugh at me. And say did you forgive me?

Navya : (smiling) dekh Cabir as i already said, you don't need to say sorry to me. And you...

She was saying to say somethung when Cabir cutted her off.

Cabir : now don't tell me to apologise to him. I am Cabir Dhawan and i am not gonna say sorry to anyone.

Navya : toh ab mujhse bola na.

Cabir : because you are special na.

she raised her left eyebrow as if asking really? To which he pinched her cheek and said.

Cabir : my special friend.

Navya smiled with a tinge of blush on her cheeks.

Navya : (seriously) Cabir, i won't tell you to change for me. But some of your actions is not acceptable, just like yesterdays. Your words really hurted Shahid. If you could just apologise to him. I will not force you. Hmm..

He said everything as if making a kid understanding.

Cabir too nodded his head understanding his point.

Cabir : i will try for sure Navya. You will be with me na.

Navya : ofcourse I will be with you in your every step holding your hands

Navya said and smiled at him which he resiprocated feeling content.

Navya : (breaking the hug) ham jaate hai. Nandini was searchung for me. And called me here. And pata nahi yeh ladki kahan gaya ab.

Cabir : woh... Nandini nahi main tumhe yahan bulaya tha.

Navya looked at him confusedly.

Cabir : woh i didn't get any chance to soeak to you since morning so i asked that boy to tell you that ,Nandini called you here.

Navya glared at him with her hands on her hip.

Cabir : (gulping) arey i wanted to talk to you. Isiliye kiya na aise. Ab aisa look mat do.

Navya : you shoukd have just ask me too.

Cabir : arey i thought you were angry.

Navya : theek hai. Now i will go.

Cabir : theek hai. Jao.

She smiled and took two step to the entrance but stoped realising something. She immediately turned and came to him opening her bag. She took out a tiffin bix and a spoon.

(did you guys get to know what she is going to do? I hope you guys know.)

Navya : chalo mooh kholo?

She took some dahi cheeni in spoon and took it near his mouth.

Cabir : huh?

Navya :  arey mooh kholo.

Cabir : wha...

He couldn't even complete "what" because his pyaari si Madhubala stuffed that spoon full of dahi cheeni. He made faces eating it.

Cabir : yeh kyun?

Navya : arey... Bujurg log kehte hai kuch acha kaam karne se pehle dahi cheeni khana acha hotha hai.
(elders say eating curd before doing any good this is a good) aaj toh musicana hai. So all the best. Perform well. Make me proud.

She said and went away waving at him in her usual chirpy mood.

And he know, Yes, there is someone who will be with him, by his side through out his life.

The whole place is filled with people who are hell excited to hear their favourite bands.

MUSICANA

The biggest opportunity to new commers in the music world  to showcase their talent.

Everyone is hell excited to see their favourite musicians inthe judging pannel. The contestants were nervous but never let it spoil their music. It is already the third performance is happening in the stage. And next one is of NH3's

Lets see what is happening in the back stage.

Navya, Nandini and Harshad were looking at Shahid who is all nervous. Poor boy, he was pacing here and there from the time he get to know that they are going to perform next.

Nandini : kitna hai?

Shahid looked at her confusedly?

Nandini : woh tum kuch der se yeh place measure kar rahe the na. So wahi pooch raha tha. Kitna hai?

Shahid : seriously Nandini. Main yahan nervous ho raha hai. Aur tum hai ki.

Navya : arey tension hi kyun hi raha hai bhai? You have sing on stage yesterday too. Kal itna tension nahi tha na.

Shahid : arey kal was juat opening night right? Today is the real competition. Today is the do or die day.

He said as a matter of fact.

Harshad : Shahid, you are right, today is the day where they are going to judge us with our performance. But you should think this way too. Today is the day when we should impress them with our talent. Indded today is the do or die day. And we are going to show them what is our talent. What is music mean to us. Music flow in our blood mera dost, so you don't need to tension. Lets just rock the stage.

Navya : ofcourse lets rock the stage.

She said showing her all time favourite yo yo style. Making everyone smile.

Till then the third performance was over and they called NH3 for the performance.

They moved to the stage, not before Navya making the other eat her famous dahi cheeni.

On the stage

The spot light fell on the 4 figures on the stage.

There stood NH3 in all their glory while audience cheer for them loudly.

Navya in the keyboard, Shahid with his drums, Harshad sitting on a cahir with his guitar beside him sat Nandini in a chair.

The soft music of guitar, keyboard and drums fall in the air . Audience went silent as they just feel the calm in those beats.

Nandini

Kise poochun, hai aisa kyun
Bezuban sa yeh jahan hai

Nandini started closing her eyes only feeling the music. With just the start of the lines everyone could feel the depth of the lyrics. Her voice was so smooth that it really went into the heart of everyone there.

Harshad

Khushi ke pal kahan doondu
Benishan sa wakth bhi yahan hai

Harshad sang his voice clearly depicting his sorrows. He  remembered that good old days when he and his best friends Manik & Dhruv live happily. Just like the lyrics say it, now that moments feel like  as if they never existed.

Nandini

Jaane kitne labon pe khili hai

Nandini smiled sadly looking at Harshad and then looked at Navya who is also looking at Harshad. They could feel his pain even though he tried to not make any eye contact with them.

Harshad

Zindgi se kahi faasla hai

He sang looking at the audience his eyes glittering with unshed tears.

Nandini & Harshad together

Both sang looking at the audience the audience was silent now. They were just floating in the music. Shahid was creating a magic with his drums. The slow and soothing beats really gives the song a new life.

Harshad

He sang looking above, then closed his eyes while a lone tear escaped his eyes.

While the audience gasped at the intensity of the lyrics.

Nandini

She sang closing her eyes while her face too showed some kind of pain.

Navya make some soft music with her keyboard. Her eyes closed lost totally into the musice.

Nandini

Sanson ne kahan ruk mod liya
Koi raha nazar mein na aaye
Dhadkan ne kahan dil chod diya
Kahan chode in jism mein saaye

She sang her voice capture everyone over there.

Harshad

Yahi baar baar sochtha hun
tanha mein yahan

He sang standing up and walking to the front of stage and sang looking at audience.

Nandini

She sang standing up and walking to where Harshad stand closing his eyes trying hard not to spill anymore tears.
She went and placed her hands on his shoulder. He opened his eyes and looked at her and give her a small smile she too smiled at him.

Harshad

Ke aagayi hai

He sang looking at her while she nodded her head in no. As if telling him his prayers will be answered.

Nandini

She sang facing the audience closing her eyes giving her all will to the song. She was totally into the music.

This performance meant a lot to them. Not just because of the competition. But because this song clearly depicts their mind set. Each lyrics were rolled down her pen thinking about Harshad and his life.

And their hardwork was clearly paid off when they saw the crowd cheering for all their might after a brief silence, because they were so much captivated in the music,lyrics and their voice. That voices which clearly depict the lyrics. The pain in their voice was the last element needed for the song. The pain weren't artificial but was from heart and it altogether beautified the song.

They were elated when they saw with the audience the judges also giving them a standing applause.

Four of them bow infront of the audience and judges with a smile, and leave the stage with their smile intact on their faces.

Whoever will be the winner, they got what they wanted. Respect for their work. They got it at that moment when the audience clapped for them.

While leaving they saw Nyonika looking at them with tears in her eyes, nd she didn't hesitated to let them rolled down now. Their song, each lyrics totally connected to her life.

She came to them and just patted NavNi nd Harshad even Shahid's face.
And without saying anything. 

Raj saw Nyonika's teary face it pricked his heart, he wanted to hug her and console her, but something was stoping him. What? May be the web if lies his so called brother filled him with.

The situation in the back stage was something difference. Fab5 was silent. Mukthi and Cabir looking at Fab3, that is Manik, Dhruv and Alia.

Alia was literally crying, she could feel her brothers suffers, the hurt. Mukthi was trying to console her, but she don't know how to. While Cabur was looking at ManRuv who was silent from the time NH3's performance. They weren't saying anything and not even showing their emotions. This really made him restless.

Dhruv is a silent guy. He agreed but kabhi bhi uska chera itna expression less nahi tha.

Manik is always opposite to Dhruv. Well he is a "violent" guy when it comes to emotions. Because whenver he is confused, sad or hurt he only showed one emotion. "Anger", then he will destroy everythyng in that place. But today there is not even anger in his face. An angry Manik is predicatble but a silent Manik is "unpredicatable".

Cabir : (to ManRuv) guys. Kya hua? Why are you guys silent.

Manik and Dhruv looked at him and said nothing.

Cabir : nothing, really guys? I know you guys are disturbed. But don't be silent. Don't shut your self atleast from us.

Manik : its nothing like that Cabir. You are just overthinking.

Cabir : overthinking. But i didn't think so. You guys being silent, and Alia crying her eyes out are nothing is not happens everytime.

Mukthi : haa Manik. We know Harshad was your friend. Infact bestfriend. Tum logon ke beeck kya hua tha. Ham kabhi nahi poocha, kyun ki kabhi bhi yeh topic aatha tha tab you guys change it. So we clearly don't know how to console you guys. What will us say? Don't be sad guys he will come around and ask for apologise after all these years, or just forget him and move on.

Dhruv : Mukthi, i understand you. Its not like we didn't want you giys to know it. It is just that we are trying to move on.

Cabir : and it didn't happen even after all these years.

Both ManRuv become silent. Yes they couldn't move on even after 7 years. Hiw can they forget him. With him they spent their best moments. He was a bestfriend anyone could ask for. But all of a sudden he started to hate them, itna ki it felt like he even heted their existance. Phir bhi he is there, in their heart. Kyun na kitni bhi hatered they show infront of them they always hoped that he would come to them and tell then he never hated them. It was juat a nightmare and it will fade away soon. But Will it ever happen?

So i am ending this chapter here guys....

I thought to finish musicana with this chapter, but CaVya's scene went too much long.
