Space College Auditorium @ 8.30 A.m

Fab5 and NH3 come to the audi at the same time from opposite sides. Both the bands come face to face after so many days. The students around there were waiting for another blast, which always happen whenever this rivals come face to face. But to their utter shock NH3 entered the Audi without any fight, followed by Fab5.

Both the bands stood at either side of the audi, as if they were some strangers. But if we look thoroughly we could see our beloved CaVya and MaNan stealing glances at each other.

After 2 minutes Nyonika, Raghav and Principal come to the audi. One look at Nyonika NavNi and Harshad could see how hard she tries to keep up her i don't care attitude when the reality is she is in so much hurt, sad and lonely. But what happened? The trio looked at each other confused. Within 1 minute they got their answer when a man in his late 40 come there. NavNi looked at Harshad and he clarified that he is Mr.Raj Malhotra.

Trio looked at Nyonika, when Nyonika saw them looking at her she passed them a weak smile. Trio too smiled at her as if giving her much needed assurance.

Cabir : (wispering to Manik) uncle kab aaya?

Manik : kal

Mukthi : aur tune bataya kyun nahi idiot? We would have come to meet him.

Manik : yaar Mukthi, i didn't called you guys because you guys wanted to spent the weekend with yourselves. And waise bhi dad will be here for the next 4 days. So you guys have ample of time to meet him. So realax

Mukthi : cool then.

Their trance broke when Principal started to speak.

Principal : hello students, we called you here because Mr.Malhotra wanted to meet you guys before the competition starts. (to Raj) you can countinue sir.

Raj nodded his head and looked at his either side where our bands are standing.

Raj : tum log aisa do end main kyun khade ho. Come to the center.

Both the bands looked at each other and come to the center.

Raj : so guys, i am not here to motivate or something you guys. Uske lie tum logon ke saath Raghav jaise very talented teachers hai. I just wanted to meet you guys just to remind you that, you guys are our proud. The whole Space proud of you guys. You guys come till here only because of your talent.

Hearing him Nandini looked at Manik with a smirk. Manik too understand the meaning of her smirk. Ofcourse she was indicating their conversation.

Raj : and it is the best platform to showcase your talents. As you guys know there will be bands from all over the country. They are equally talented as yours. So never underestimate any band. And yeah i am not saying this to reduce your confidence, its just that just believe in yourself and try your level best... No no.. Not level best try beyond your level. This is a competition, yahan sirf woh jeetha hai, jo apne comfort zone se baahar aake yeh batate ki ham kisi se kam nahi hai.  So guys gear up. Show everyone what Space have. Are you guys ready?

Fab5 & NH3 together : yes.

Raj : ohk then see you guys on stage then. Kal opening night hai, you guys don't have much time. So hurry up.

Both the band nodded their head and left to their respective jam rooms.

They practiced till the lunch without any break, and evem Cabir baba too practised sacrifising his first love which is ofcourse food.

NH3 were heading to the canteen when Shahid got a phone call. He looked at the id and he looked visibly tensed. Which confused the trio.

Shahid : i have to take it. You guys go. i will join you in a while

He went away without giving the trio a chance to question him.

Nandini : isse kya hua. He look tense now a days. And not even ready to share with us. Kya hua hoga?

Harshad : no idea. Mujhe bhi kuch wierd lag raha hai. Let him come we will ask him today itself.

Nandini : haa yahi acha rahega. Chal ab canteen chalthe hai.

They started moving to Canteen.

Navya : guys, did we forget something?

Nandini : matlab?

Navya : pata nahi. Mujhe na aisa lag raha hai ki we forget something. But kya? Yeh samajh nahi aa raha hai.

Trio started thinking thats when Navya's bati jali.

Navya : hey matarani ham yeh bhool kaise sakthe hai?

Harshad : kya hua Navya?

Navya : hamne abhi tak Nyo ma ko yeh watch nahi diya hai.

Nandini : ayyo ayyappa... Come on guys first go to her.

They moved to Nyonika's office.

Nyonika's office in Space

Nyonika was looking at photo. Which portraited her once happy family. Her eyes shedding tears.

How she wish to get back this happy family. Her ever so loving and supportive husband, her ever so cute son. Times when they spent the best time together. Their first meet, their nok-jok, his proposal, their marriage, their symbol of love Manik. They name him Manik,because he was their most priced possession. And that blood sucking leaches used him to get hold of her. That dark days, when she has to see her son crying, scared of darkness. She was right there but couldn't go to him, Hold him, console him. She couldn't do anything when she saw her husband, her one and only love beloeved his brothers words not her pleadings. The same man who promised never let her cry become the sole reason for her tears. How many times she died seeing hatered in her son's eyes for her. The discusting looks and hurtful words he thrown to her way. They were so sharp than any sword and they never failed to sliced her heart.

When today she saw Raj at Space, she was surprised. No shocked was the correct word. He never come to Mumbai in these 7 years. Even if he come then too he won't come infront of her. Because she disgust him. How irony right? There was a time.when he couldn't live without seeing her. And now he avoid her as if she is some plague.

Her tears has no intention to stop shedding the tears. She too didn't cared to wipe them.

Her trance brock with a sound of knock.  She wiped her tears and made herself presentable and hide the photo frame under some file which were on her table.

Navya knocked on the door and after permission they entered.

Nyonika : arey bacho, tum log yahan achanak? Koi kaam hai?

She asked trying hard to control.her inner termoil. But who is she kidding? Her red eyes and smudged kajal gives the clear indication that she has cried. But they didn't ask anythung to her, as they know this is not the correct time to ask her anything. Not when they re in Space, especially when Mr.Raj Malhotra is here.

Navya : woh Nyo ma we are here to give you this.

She said giving the box to Nyonika. Nyonika took it with confusion and opened it.

Nyonika : yeh watch kyun?

Nandini : Nyo ma it has a chip attatched to it. Using it we could spot you wherever you are.

Nyonika : iska matlab, mujhe kuch bhi ho saktha hai. And it is going to save me.

Navya : aisa nahi hai Nyo ma. Its just that we don't know what they are planning. We just want you to be safe. So thats why.

Nyonika : i understand bacho. You really care about me. But the thing is that, i am not afraid of them anymore. Kyin ki mujhe poora bharosa hai ki, agar mujhe kuch ho bhi jae, mere bachon ne mere begunah sabit kar denge. Tum log yeh dekha hai

She asked showing them the photo frame. Nandini took the frame from her hands. The trio admired the family who has their million dollar smile in their lips.

Nyonika : this is my life, which still encourage me to live even after getting betrayed by them who i once believed as mine. So agar mujhe kuch ho bhi gaya na then please Manik mera Manu usse bata dena ki i love him a lot. Main kabhi usse hate nahi kiya tha. Main use kabhi hurt karna nahi chahta tha. But unintentionally i become the only reason for his broken childhood. And ask him to forgive me only if he could. Please.

She said and dropped in her knees, as her knees felt week. She felt as if she lost all her strenghth, all her hope. While her tears refused to stop. The state of trio wasn't any different. Their eyes too was shedding tears.

Navya and Nandini immediately kneel down infront of Nyonika and take her in a hug from either side. They didn't know how to console this women infront of them. Whom the world thinks as a strong women with lot of attitude in her.

Yes she is a strong women. She has lots of attitude in her, but only she know how broken she is from inside. How much pain she hide in that strong facade of hers. But at the end she is really a strong women, otherwise who has the will power to live even after bearing all these pain.

NavNi helped Nyonika to stand and make her sit in the sofa in her cabin. And sat either side of her still taking her in a side hug.

Nandini : (still in the hug) Nyo ma, mujhe pata hai ham kabhi nahi samajh payega ki ab aap pe kya bheet rahe hai, par main sirf itna batana chahoonga ki aap akela nahi hai. Ham sab hai aapke saath. Ham aise hi aapko maa nahi bolti. Ham yeh dilse maanthi bhi hoon. Kabhi aapko akela nahi chodne wala. Har khushi aur har gam ham saath hi baantenge.

Navya : aur waise bhi koi bhi gam aapko chuke bhi dikhaye, hamna apni Navya Naveli style main aisa chaanta(slap) maaroongi ki woh bhaag ke jaengi.

She said in her overdramatic style. Well it did bring a small smile in Nyonika's lips.

Harshad : Nyo ma you are the strongest women i have ever seen. You can't just lose your hope, that too when we are in the verge of winning.

Nandini : haa Nyo ma. We are here na. We will make everything ohk. Just keep your faith in us.

Nyonika : i have full faith in you guys. Its just that i really wanted to get it out of my system. And yeah maine kahi suna tha ki sometimes its good to break down infront of your loved ones...

Nyonika said with a naughty glint in her eyes. Navya and Harshad looled confused, but Nandini looked at Nyonika with her eyes wide open and then give her a embarressed smile.

Nyonika : what? Aisa kyun dekh rahe ho? For your kind information. I am the trustee of this collage. And i will get to know watever happens in this collage. And that too with my son.

Nandini : woh... Nyo ma... Main

She was stammering not knowing what to say.

Nyonika : hey... Hey realax. Its ohk. You don't need to be embarressed.

Nyonika said cupping Nandini's cheek. Then continued holding Nandini's hands.

Nyonika : tumhe pata hai Nandini, mera Manu na kabhi aisa nahi tha. He was the sweetest kid. Yeah he had anger issues, otherwise he was my best kid. After all this mishap he lost his self. He become this Manik hmm... What you call? Yeah Monster Manik...
But nowadays i could see a change in him. His face has that satisfaction and peace which he lost almost 7 years back. Aur uska reason sirf aur sirf tum ho Nandini. You are his missing peace. His solace. Please use kabhi chodna mat. Agar tum use chod diya na toh woh phirse wahi monster ban jaongi. (folding her hands) Please i beg you please hamesha uske saath raho. Please....

Nandini : (with misty eyes) Nyo ma aap yeh kya kar rahe ho. Mere saamne kabhi hands fold mat karo. Aur yahi baat Manik ka hai toh, mujhe nahi pata what we have between us but jo bhi hai i will try my best too keep this alive forever. Yeh jo bhi hamare beech hai na it is very precious for me. Kahi na kahi he has become my strength. And main bhi nahi chahti ki main ka hi usse door ho jao.

Nyonika : it is enough for me Nandini. Agar tum uske saath ho toh mujhe koi tension nahi hai. Aur Navya Cabir too is a nice guy.

She said winking at Navya, and it was her time to get embarressed.

Harshad : (with a smile) ohk then Nyo ma. Ham chalthe hai. We have to practise too.

Nyonika : yeah practise well. And all the best too. Make me proud.

Navya : woh toh ham karenge. Toh bye Nyo ma.

Nyonika : bye.

The trio started walking but Nandini stop before going out.

Nandini : Nyo ma.

Nyonika : haa Nandini.

Nandini : Chahe Kuch Bhi Karna Pade Ham Aapko Aapki Happy Family Loutadoongi...

Nyonika smiled and said

Nyonika : i know.

The trio smiled at her and went out.
They come out, but Harshad felt someone was near them.

Harshad : ek minute guys

Nandini : kya hua?

Harshad : i think someone was here.

Nandini : kon?

Harshad : i don't know but i think i saw someone.

Navya : hey koi nahi hoga is samay Nyonika Ma'am ke cabin main kon aayega?

Harshad : par..

Navya : koi nahi hai Harshad. Come

She dragged him from there. Thats when Mr. Raj Malhotra come out from behind the pillar.

Raj pov

Kya jo bhi maine ab dekha woh sab kya tha? Jo bhi Nyonika ne kaha woh sab... Agar woh sab sach hai toh... She was looking just like my Nyo. That innocent girl.(he remembered their happy days) But... Those proofs and Rohit, he too said that. (he remembered the day and that helpless look on Nyonika's face, hear tear stained face and those innocent eyes which were pleading at him to believe her) God... Kahi maine apne bhai pe bharosa karke koi galti toh nahi ki. I have to find out. Asap.

Pov end

He thought to himself and went away determined to find out what exactly happened 7 years before.

Corridor

Navya : she is so broken.

Said Navya while walking to corridor.

Nandini : yes she is. And only Manik and  Mr. Malhotra could mend her.

Harshad : aur yeh tabhi hoga jab saara sachayi sabke saamne as jaenge.

Navya : aur ham kisi bhi halat main saare sachayi sabke saamne layenge.

Navya said determined.

Nandini : zaroor.

Navya : aur uske baad woh donon idiot villions ko main hell dikha doongi.

Harshad : aur us mein main Tera saath doonga.

Nandini : main bhi.

She said side hugging Navya.  And the trio entered to the canteen.

Canteen @ 2.15 p.m

Fab5 was sitting in their usual place and having their lunch with their usual legpullings.

But all of a sudden one of the student dashed with another student and the result was juice was spilled on The Cabir Dhawan's shirt.

Fab5 stood up immediately startiling the two students. The whole canteen was all ready to enjoy another Fab5 ragging.

Cabir looked at the student all set to pounce on that student but stopped looking at the girl just entered the canteen. He looked at her and she nodded her head in no. Cabir took a deep breath controlling her anger. And yes it was Navya Naveli who just entered the canteen with Nandini and Harshad, and the only one who can control the prankster.

This exchange went unnotised by every one as everyone was only looking at Manik who was holding the student's collar.

Cabir : (holding Manik's hand which were on that boy's collar) no Manik... Leave him. He wasn't his fault.

Manik : what?

He looked at Cabir surprised. Well it was the reaction of whole canteen.

Cabir : Manik leave him. You know na what Nyonika can do if she get to know about this fight. And Musicana is near. We can't take a chance.

Manik nodded his head and leave the student's collar whi ran for his life in just a split of second.

Cabir : (to Fab4) hmmm... I will go and clean this.

Fab4 nodded his head. Cabir went out of the canteen passing Navya glancing at her while she too passed a smile at him.

Harshad : (to Nandini) wowww... That was new.

Nandini : lagtha hai kisi ka asar hai. (she said nudging Navya with her shoulder smiling naughtly) Nahi Harshad?

Harshad : (he said with that loopside smile of his) i too think the same.

Navya : ho gaya tum logon ka yah kuch aur bhi bakki hai.

Nandini : hai na. Bahot kuch batana bakki hai. Like Harshad did you see how he looked at Navi when he went out.

Harshad : ofcourse i saw. Lag raha tha ki aankhon se aankhein baatein kar rahe hai.

Harshad said and share a laugh with Nandini.

Navya : arrggg...ohk then just stand here and talk whatever you want and laugh how much you want. I am going to have my lunch.

She said stomping her feet feeling irritatex and went to the counter to get her lunch. While Harshad and Nandini followed her giggling and it irritated the hell out of her.

This was seen by Manik, who looked at the direction feeling Nandini's presense. Even though he didn't hear anything but seeing them giggling he felt something different. He was surprised to see Harshad's different behaviour around Nandini and Navya. It is not the first time he is seeing the glimpse of that old Harshad in him. But he was confused. What is true, his ex-bestfriend Harshad or his enemy Harshad. He don't know whom he should believe. And when it comes to Nandini he is not at all ready to take a chance. So he thought talk to Nandini to be aware of Harshad.

So i am stopping this chapter here...
