Manik slept in the sleeping position after reading the diary, the last night, holding it close to his heart. He woke up and texted Abhimanyu about Nandu. After getting ready, he went to living room and found everyone sitting with a grave expression on their faces.

Manik(amused): Guys, kya hua? Koi mar gaya kya?

Everyone turned towards him.

Cabir(seriously): Manik?

Manik(fake seriously): Cabir and serious? Is this the end of the world?

He chuckled earning a glare from Cabir.

Nyonika(worried): Manik, are you fine?

Seeing her worried, Manik goes towards her and takes a seat beside her.

Manik(smiled): Mom, I am fine.

Cabir(glared): Toh teri smile teri aankho mein kyu nahi pahunch rahi.

Manik(disbelievingly): Cabir, seriously? Don't act like a psychologist now. I am very fine. Guys, there's something I need to tell you.

Taking a nod from everyone, he continues.

Manik(determinedly): I am going to Nandu’s place to bring her back to me, to us.

As soon as they realize his words, they all pounced upon him, including Nyonika.

Manik(mumbled): Guys, get off me. I can't breathe.

Raj nods his head in disbelief and pulls Nyonika first.

Raj(glared): Nyo, tum bhi?

Nyo(squealed): I am excited. Meri bahu ghar aane wali hai.

Manik chuckles at her excitement.

Raj(seriously): Manik, you said you won’t force her?

Manik(assured): Trust me, Dad. I won't. (Whispered) I just need a talk with her.

Raj nods in understanding while rest all eyes him suspiciously.

Manik(teased): I really am not revealing anything to you all. Now, I am getting late. So, bye.

He leaves to Nandu’s place.

Murthy House

Here, Nandu woke up and found both her hands tied. Looking clearly, she found Mukti sleeping beside her holding her hand. While on the other side, Abhi slept sitting on the chair with his head resting on the bed beside Nandu, his hand tightly clutching hers. She slowly freed her hands trying not to wake them up. Though Mukti didn't wake up, Abhi woke up with a jerk.

Abhi(scared): Babydoll, tu theek hai?

Nandu(whispered): Bhai, shh. Dheere. Mukti’s sleeping. (Abhi nods) I am fine. Main fresh hokar aati hun. You sleep for a while. You might have a sore neck.

Abhi nods. She makes him sleep on the bed and pecks his head. Taking her clothes, she goes to his room to freshen up. Getting comfortable in her pajamas, Nandu moves towards the kitchen to prepare herself a coffee when on her way, she finds Manik just entering in. She panics seeing him. Seeing her frightened, Manik maintains a good distance between them.

Manik(guiltily): Nandu, stop being afraid of me. Just hear me out first.

Composing herself, Nandu gives him a small nod.

Manik(hopefully): If I am taking you somewhere, will you come with me?

Nandu(hesitantly): Manik

Manik(whispered): I want to use my second chance now, from my infinite chances. Please?

Taking a deep breath, she nods.

Nandu(stated): I will change and come.

Manik(panicked): Nahi. (softly) I mean no need to change.

Nandu(frowned): Manik, pajamas hai.

Manik(raising an eyebrow): You are comfortable in this, right? It's perfect.

Nandu frowns in confusion but nods.

Nandu(questioned): Can I at least go and inform Bhai?

Manik(looking at her): Tum car mein baith jao. I will go and inform him. Anyways, I need to talk to him.

Nandu(stated): fine.

She leaves without sparing a single glance at him. Manik sighs and leaves to meet Abhi. On his way, he finds Abhi and Mukti in Nandu’s room with Abhi lying down on the bed and Mukti sitting beside him. They were talking with frowns on their faces.

Manik(teased): Ahan, love birds. Baad mein aaun kya?

Abhi glares at him and sits straight. Manik pulls the chair beside him.

Abhi(confused): Manik?

Manik(rolling his eyes): Yeh tum dono bhai-behen Manik par hi rukh kyu jaate ho?

Abhi glares at him.

Mukti(concerned): Manik, tu theek hai?

Manik(mocked): Dekh meri Mukti ko. Kitna care karti hai mera.

Abhi(pouts): Maine bhi babydoll se pucha tha.

Manik(accused): Haan, Of course. Tu bas apne babydoll se hi puch. Meri toh fikar hoti hi nahi na. Remember, you are my best friend? Ya woh bhi bhul gaya?

Abhi(explained): Manik, aisa nahi hai.

Manik(sincerely): Acha, leave all that. Abhimanyu, I need your permission.

Abhi(puzzled): For what?

Manik(announced): I am taking your sister on a date.

Abhi(surprised): Did she agree to come with you?

Manik(hopefully): Yes, I managed to convince her. Is it ok with you?

Abhi(muttered): I can't see her cry once again.

Manik(staring into the distance): I can't either. I am trying to make things better. You trust me, right?

Abhi nods.

Abhi(stammered): Just take care of her. But if she still doesn't agree, will I lose my best friend?

Manik(frowned): Pagal hai. Why would I lose you? Listen, tu bhai hai mera. And we are friends even before I became friends with Nandu. You are equally important to me, if not more.

Mukti(squealed): I am shipping Manyu from now on.

Manik(slapping her head lightly): Tu na us Navya se dur hi reh. Dekh kitna influence kar rahi tujhe.

Manik hugged them both and was about to leave the room when Abhi stopped him.

Abhi(requested): Manik, she can be difficult at times. Please handle her with some patience.

Manik(determined): It would be my privilege if she’s getting difficult. I would know to what extent our relationship could go. I would try my best to bring back the smile on your sister's face along with her.

Abhi(emotionally): Thank You.

Manik gives him a smile and leaves. He found Nandu sitting inside the car with her eyes closed. She opens her eyes when she heard the sound of the door clicking.

Manik(in a low tone): Sorry, for making you wait. Shall we leave?

Nandu nods. The ride took more than an hour with Nandu struggling with her curiosity and Manik clearly enjoying her plight.

An hour later

The car halted making Nandu look outside. Getting down, she got confused seeing a small but beautiful house.

Nandu(puzzled): Manik, yeh?

Manik forwarded his hand.

Manik(smiled): Come.

Holding her hand, Manik walked her in but instead of taking inside the house, he took her to the backyard seeing which Nandu was dumbfounded.

What's in the backyard? Guess. :P
