Nandini(puzzled): "Kaun relationship mein hain abhi?"

Nandu who just came there said making Manik speechless with fear.

Manik(whispered to Mukti): Nandu ne kuch suna hoga kya?

Nyonika(smiled): Nandu beta. Good morning.

Nandu(sheepishly): Morning. Sorry, aunty. Thoda late ho gaya.

Nyo(chuckled): It's ok beta. Kabhi kabhi sone mein galti nahi hai. Come let's have breakfast.

Nyo takes Nandu along with her and the rest all followed.

Mukti(whispered to Manik): Lucky you. Nandu ne nahi suna.

Manik sighed in relief.

Dining table

[A/N - Seating arrangement - Mukti, Manik, Nandini, Cabir. Dhruv, Alya, Navya, Nyonika opposite to them. Raj on the head chair between Nyonika and Cabir.]

Everyone was having their breakfast when Cabir spoke.

Cabir(proudly): Waise Navya ji, meri bhi koi girlfriend nahi hai.

Navya(concentrating on her food): Really? Boyfriend hai?

He choked on his juice while everyone looked at her confused.

Cabir(horrified): Boyfriend?

Navya(teased): Tumhari baate agar koi sunega with Manik, people would doubt you are straight. Woh toh main tumhe janti hoon toh I know about you. Lekin starting mein tumhe milte waqt mujhe kuch gadbad laga.

Cabir's sockets threatened to come out of his eyes hearing her while everyone else burst out laughing except Manik and Mukti who were busy whispering to each other.

Manik(whispered to Mukti): Tujhe nahi lagta in dono ka agar happy ending ho jaye toh hame ek aisa shaks milega jo..

Mukti(whispered): Jo Cabir ka muh band karwa sakti hai.

They both smirked looking at each other and high-fived mentally.

Raj(laughing): That was hilarious Navya beta. Waise kids, what are your further plans? Regarding your music careers?

Manik(informed): Dad, we are planning to meet some investors so that we could launch an album.

Raj(confused): Why some other investors, Manik? I mean if you want I can sponsor you guys.

Manik(hesitatingly): Dad as it's our first album, I want to go independent. This was something that I wanted to start from the zeroth level.

Raj(proudly): You make me so proud, Manik. As you wish, son. But if you are facing any difficulty in finding one, then I am investing. Is that ok?

Manik(smiling widely): Done.

Everyone started suggesting the names of Music companies and the plans of how to approach them when Raj saw Nandu all zoned out.

Raj(softly): Nandu beta, do you have any suggestions?

Nandu(murmured): Youtube.

Cabir(seriously): Breakfast table par shayad acha nahi lagega, Nandu. Baad mein dekh lena.

Nandu came to reality after listening to Cabir

Nandu(confused): huh?

Manik(glaring him): Shut up Cabir. Nandu, tum kya soch rahi ho?

Manik secretly held her hand under the table assuring her and blinked his eyes with a smile.

Nandu: You can upload a video of your performance and there are possibilities for music companies to come searching for you instead of you asking them a chance. If this fails, we anyway have our backup option of meeting the music companies.

Manik nods with a smile. Nandu gets a call from Abhimanyu and she excuses herself.

Raj(chuckled): Ab mujhe pata chala kyun mera beta iss ladki par itne saalo se fida hai. Great choice, son.

Manik blushed a bit.

Cabir(fake shockingly): The Manik Malhotra is blushing. That's 8th wonder.

Manik(rolling his eyes): Cabir, do you want me to shut your mouth in some unique way? (And points towards Navya without her notice)

Cabir zipped his mouth animatedly.

Dhruv: So Manik, are we going on with this plan?

Manik: If everyone's ok with this? Mukti, Alya, Dhruv?

All three nods in a yes. Meanwhile, even Nandu returns back.

Cabir(pouted): tu mujhe puchna bhool gaya.

Manik(sarcastically): Main jahan bhi jata hu, tum waha chale aate ho na baby.

Cabir(with a disgusted face): chi Manik. Main tera baby nahi hun. Log kya sochenge. Tauba tauba.

Manik(dramatically): Logo ke liye mujhe chod doge kya Cabir?

Cabir(scared): Nandu bacha mujhe tu apne iss boss se. Sorry, I am straight.

And he runs from there making an excuse for a call while everyone burst out laughing.

Mukti's room

Nandu gets ready for office when Mukti enters in.

Mukti(enquired): Nandu kahi ja rahi ho?

Nandu: Office.

Mukti: ohh.

Nandu(hesitatingly): Mukti, can I ask you something? I might be imagining things. Answer if you are comfortable.

Mukti: shh babydoll. We are friends yaar. Friends ke saath itna hesitate nahi karte. Puch pehle.

Nandu(softly): Cabir bhai and Navya. Does Cabir bhai likes....

Mukti(excitedly): Damn girl. Tujhe bhi ye lagta hai?

And she started laughing uncontrollably holding her stomach when Manik entered their room.

Manik(raising an eyebrow): Ise kya ho gaya?

Nandu gave him an 'I don't know' expression. Manik called Mukti few times, but she didn't stop so he used his ultimate trick.

Manik(shouted): Mukti, Cabir was saying, he loves me more than you and is planning to take me away from you pretending it to be as a business trip.

Mukti stopped laughing and stood up immediately

Mukti(screamed): Cabir, kamine. Teri itni himmat? Just wait, I am coming there.

She was all ready to barge out of her room when Manik pulled her into a hug.

Manik(coolly): Shaant lady bheem. Shaant. Tujhe chup karne bola tha. Usne kuch nahi bola.

Breaking the hug, she was about to punch him when he side hugged her.

Manik: Ab batayegi bhi kya hua? Kyun aise Cabir ke tarah has rahi thi?

Mukti(proudly): Manik. There's a new member in our group.

Manik(bewildered): kaunsa group? Fab5?

Mukti(smiling widely): Nahi Manik. Kisi aur ko bhi yeh lagta hai, ki Cabir ko Navya pasand hai?

Manik(frowned): who?

Mukti: the other girl present in this room.

Manik(surprised): Nandu?

Nandu(stammered): Manik vo mujhe laga..

Manik(teased): Acha tumhe laga. Aur kya kya lagta hai tumhe?

Nandu glared him while Mukti smacked his head.

Manik(glaring her): ouch. Tu kyu maar rahi hai mujhe? Tu mere team mein hai.

Mukti(smirked): Sorry bro. Priorities change.

Manik(giving a disheartening look): You broke my heart, Mukti.

Mukti(nodding her head in disbelief): Dramebaaz.

Manik(chuckled and side hugged Mukti): waise Mukku. We are lucky to have Nandu in our group.

Mukti(confused): Is it? kaise?

Manik(seriously): Arey yeh ladki jitne novels padti hai, I am damn sure iske andar bhi ek Sherlock Holmes chipa hoga. Jo aise situations ke aane ka wait kar raha ho.

Nandu(gritting her teeth): Main ja rahi hun office. Go find someone else to tease.

Manik(blabbered): What? Why? Arey, there's no work at the office. Abhimanyu bhi nahi hai. Mom Dad gaye hai and their assistant has also arrived here. And I need you here for the practice.

Nandu(rolling her eyes): Taaki aap mujhe waha bhi tease karsake? Sorry, Malhotra.

She gave him a sarcastic smile and exited the room huffing.

Manik(shocked): Did she just give me an attitude?

Mukti(confused): I guess yes.

Manik(adoringly): Hayee, attitude dikhate hue bhi kitni cute lagti hai.
