Nandu comes down along with Alex and Three people's eyes get widened. First one is Nandu seeing Manik and Cabir there. And Manik and Cabir's seeing Alex in Nandu's arms.

[Imagine Nandini in place of Manik. @Itz_Me_Adi yeh raha tera pyaar. khush ho ja 😂😂] 

Seeing Alex, Cabir bursts out laughing, earning weird looks from Abhimanyu and Shanno. Nandu was looking down as she was least expecting Manik there. And Manik was sad seeing Nandu looking down as he thought she is not happy seeing him there which angers Manik further a bit.

Abhi: Cabir what's wrong? Why are you laughing?

Cabir: Sorry Abhi, thoda sa technical error ke karan question came out as a laugh. So the question is you didn't introduce us to Alex.

Nandu comes down and Cabir takes Alex. Manik stays silent without looking at Nandu and Nandu gets upset.

Chachi: Nandu beta apne chacha ko call karke Puch kaha hai vo? Tera hi wait kar rahe the vo bhi.

Nandu: ji chachi.

Nandu leaves when something strikes Manik.

Manik: chachi?

Chachi: kya hua beta?

Manik: Nandu aapko chachi bula rahi hain?

Chachi: haan mein uske chachi hui na.

Manik: What? Aur Abhi?

Abhi: Manik tujhe kuch batana hai. I am sorry for hiding this from you. (Looks down)

Manik: what?

Abhi: Actually mein aur Nandu..

Manik in mind: Tum aur Nandu kya? Aage bata? Don't tell me you are in a relationship. I think I have already guessed this.

Abhi: We are cousins. She is my sister.

Manik: I know. Wait... what? Nandu is your sister? Kaise? Kab? (With a smile)

Abhi: Tu khush hai? I thought you would be angry for hiding this from you.

(Remember Manik's expressions when he got to know that Dhruv doesn't have feelings for Nandini.)

Manik: But why did you hide?

Abhi: I don't want you to give her job because of me. I don't want people to think that she got this job only because she is my sister.

Manik: Abhi, you know me. Mein aise hi kisiko job nahi deta, even if she is your sister or mine.

Cabir who was a silent spectator till then said,

Cabir: So, you want to say that Nandu is your sister.

Manik who was drinking water, after knowing the truth, had spit it.

Cabir : Manik baba, zara dheere pani pijiye.

Manik glares at Cabir.

Meanwhile, Nandu comes there.

Nandu: Chachi, Chachaji bas aa rahe hai. Doorbell rings and Chachi goes to check.

Manik gives Nandini a bright smile seeing which Nandu got confused as before few minutes he was ignoring her. So she awkwardly smiles. Their smile-smile game was disturbed by Chacha

Chacha: Hello Manik beta, hello Cabir beta. Kaise ho aap dono?

Manik, Cabir: we are fine, uncle.

Nandu goes to chacha and closes his eyes from behind.

Chacha : Arey yeh kaun hai? Manik beta apni saath koi ladki ko laye ho kya.

Nandu: Chachaji (whines)

Chacha: hayee meri gudiya aa gayi. With that, he gives her a side hug and they talk in lowered voices.

Chachi: yeh dono phir se shuru hogaye. Milte hi khusur-pushur chaloo kar dete hai. (To which Abhi, Cabir laughs. While Manik is busy admiring Nandu and her bond with her family)

Chachi : Murthy ji. Aap baap beti baad mein baat kar lena. Aap fresh hokar aayiye. Mein khana lagwa dungi.

Chacha goes to freshen up and Nandu goes to the kitchen to help Chachi.

They all have dinner with Cabir and Abhimanyu talking, Manik stealing glances of Nandini and Chacha, Chachi feeding Nandini and Nandu making faces as she doesn't want to get embarrassed infront of Manik.

Nandu: Chachi bas na. Aur nahi khana.

Chachi: arey tune khaya hi kaha hai? Thoda aur kha le.

Manik : (teasing) Haan Nandu. Thoda aur le lo.

Nandu : (glaring Manik) Nahi Chachi bas. Aap dono ne milke bahut khila diya hai.

Chachi : acha thik hai. Tu ja aur dessert le aaja.

Nandu : dessert? What's there?

Abhi: Ofcourse, payasam Nandu. Tera favourite. Aur kya hoga.

Nandu: wow chachi. Thank you. (And rushes to the kitchen without listening to her reply.)

Manik: Aunty ji mera bhi hogaya hai.

Chachi : Arey tujhe kya hogaya? Tu kha na.

Manik: Nahi Chachi..I mean Aunty. I am full.

[Because writer likes Manik calling her Chachi instead of Aunty 😋😋]

Chachi : Arey Chachi bhi bula le. Koi baat nahi. khana acha nahi bana kya?

Abhi: Haan Manik, what happened?

Cabir : (In Manik's ears) Nandini happened.

Manik : (glares Cabir) Abhi nothing happened. And Chachi ji bas aur bhook nahi lag rahi. I will help Nandini in bringing the dessert.

Cabir : Haan ja ja. Payasam Jyada heavy ho ga. Akeli la nahi payegi. 

Manik: Cabirrr.

Chachi : Tu pareshan mat kar mere bacche ko. Manik beta tu ja.

With that, he leaves.

Inside kitchen.

Manik goes inside the kitchen, while Nandini's back is facing the door. Manik goes silently and shouts in Nandu's ears scaring her.

Nandini : Manikkk. Tum hamesha darate kyun ho?

Manik: Because I love this look on your face.

Nandini glares and takes the bowls while Manik takes the payasam. 

After going out.

Nandini : Chachi, dessert terrace par rakh doon? Waha khyenge?

Abhi: ofcourse Nandu. Yahi tho chahiye tujhe? Tu apne taaron ke saath baat kar aur hame bhul ja?

Chacha : Abhi, meri gudiya ko pareshan mat kar. Nandu beta, tu ja. Hum complete karke aajayenge.

They both go to the terrace.

Manik: Acha Nandini?

Nandini: haan

Manik: Why didn't you tell me that Abhi is your brother?

Nandu: vo Manik, Abhi ne mana kiya tha.

Manik: Your family loves you a lot, right?

Nandu: They do. After Amma, Appa's death I was broken. Chacha, Chachi handled me. They used to fulfill my every wish even before I ask. And Abhi is my first friend. He won't let anything harm me. He is a bit overprotective but that is his way of showing love. He has seen Amma, Appa's death. He was a kid when their accident took place infront of Abhi's eyes. Appa pushed Abhi somewhere at the side of the road just before the accident. Till many years he used to blame himself for not saving them. That's when Chacha asked him to look for my parents in me. He gave Abhi the responsibility of protecting me. (There were tears in Nandu's eyes seeing which Manik side-hugged her)

Nandu : (looking down)sorry, main bas... yaad aagayi thi unki.

Manik : (holding her face) You don't need to say sorry Nandu. As I said before, I will be there at every point of your life from now on. I will protect you too. We all love you Nandu. Jab bhi tumhe kisi se baat karne ka mann kiya, remember, am just a call away. I will listen to you patiently till you get your peace back. (More tears roll down in Nandu's cheeks.) But I need something in return.

Nandu looked at him with questioning eyes.

Manik: vo kya hai na I don't like excess salt. You know excess salt is dangerous to the heart. So I don't want these saline water in your eyes again.

Nandu : (hitting him lightly) Manik.

The other people to come to terrace and have their dessert. Soon after which Cabir and Manik leave and Nandini stays there on insistence by Chachi and Abhi.
