"I know what you are....manik....!!!" and nandu stops holding his hand as darkness surrounds them while he noticing the panic in her tone rests his hand on hers and "relax....it's just the power cut"

Not replying nandu moves close to his side making him cringe his eyebrows and "nandini what's wrong....you are trembling"

"I am ok...!!!" and she whispers in a low tone while manik remembering that nandu had her cell in her hand silently turns on the torch light taking cell from her hand and placing it on couch near them and "you forgot that you are having a cell and can turn on the torch light....how are you ok??"

"I just....drifted back....one night at alia house....there was a power cut and....he was at house....so I just.....!!!" and nandu utters licking her lips while manik pulls her into his arms and "he didn't hurt you right"

"no" and she mutters closing her eyes feeling safe in his arms while he makes his grip tighter on her and "who was he....i mean do we know him"

"tch....we don't know him....he was already a reported victim....apparently he blackmailed few other in the similar way like he did to alia....he used his looks to act and have his ways with women....others fell for it being conscious while alia have a doubt that whatever happened it was because of her getting drunk in a club a couple of months back....!!!" and nandu utters hearing to his heart beat calming down while he sighs feeling glad that it all ended and "whatever it is....you sorted out everything....so just stop thinking about it and don't worry"

"hmmm" and nandu stands enjoying their closeness while manik cups her cheeks pulling back a little making her stare him and "you have no idea how worried I was when you weren't here in front me.....so promise me.....promise me that you will always let me know if there is something you have to take care of....i will never question you but you have to let me know that you are good....somewhere safe....!!!"

"I promise" and nandu whispers with a smile feeling blessed to have him in her life while he traces her cheek with his thumb and "am not sure whether something similar may or may not happen again....but I don't want us to go through that pain again.....may be if we knew what we were actually handling there would have been less misunderstandings and in fact no misunderstandings to be more specific....!!!"

"You are by any chance talking about you handling riya while I was handling alia???" and nandu utters raising her eyebrows while manik nods his head and "yaaa"

"I don't know....i said about everything so now you say....you never thought that riya was trying to get close to you" and nandu mutters removing his hands from her cheeks while manik nods his head as a no entwining their fingers and "nahi....she never really tried getting close to me....she never gave me any hints too and besides I was busy thinking about you and your weird behavior all the while so to be true I never really thought about riya"

"Everyone was talking about you two....you both were seen in restaurants together and you wouldn't want to hear all the things people were saying behind you" and nandu utters getting serious not liking to even say those things while manik stares her for a moment and "you just heard yourself how riya was spreading rumors wontedly about us....yes I was in restaurants with her but to attend the meetings along with other people....it's not my fault if everyone say things as if I was alone spending some romantic time with riya....and I definitely wouldn't know what riya was doing as everyone was talking behind me and not to me"

"You could have drawn a line between your friendship" and nandu mutters scoffing while manik draws small patterns on her skin and "you know I don't sit and plan about any relationship....when we both were away....she listened to me for hours when all I did was blabbering about you....she just always made me believe that you would come back to me and we would again end up being together....maybe I was wrong but I thought that she was being just a true support and a true friend....you were the reason for beginning of our friendship and I won't regret any of that....its she who was wrong....who was getting close to me with some motive....i agree that I made a mistake by trusting her but no.....i don't regret anything because that would mean declining about my feelings....as a true friend which were pure....!!!"

"So nothing is your fault" and nandu utters as a matter of fact while manik licks his lips and "I never said that....the only mistake I did was not talking to you when I should have....you were not talking and me being in frustration to know everything started giving you silent treatment when instead I should have encouraged you to trust me and confess the truth....and also about riya I should have said you how I thought about her as a friend so that you couldn't have believed any rumors and doubted us"

"No manik....i might have felt hurt....but I never doubted you same like you haven't even after seeing the abortion papers today" and nandu utters quickly while manik tilts his head sideways and "then what was that look you gave me in that restaurant when you saw me with riya for the first time"

"that was hurt...hurt that you started spending time with third person ignoring me....hurt that you were spending more than half time of the day with her though it might be the office work....hurt that you were letting her stay close to you leaving me alone in your room with your memories and not you" and nandu whispers with tears in her eyes while manik once again cups her cheeks and "I didn't wanted to.....i swear.....but I thought may be like every other time you wouldn't have tolerated my silence and just said what was bothering you.....am sorry.....am really really sorry.....but that is the reason am saying that we should start coming clean to each other from at least now....we don't have to sit and talk everything but we should at least let each other know if something comes up....it shouldn't necessarily be something major....it may be our fears, anger or any other small issue for that matter.....i just want us to share it and know it.....so that misunderstanding don't take birth again between us"

"You forgot....we are on a break now....so I should leave" and nandu freeing her hands turns away hiding her smile while manik closing his eyes for a moment opens them again and "I don't have a cell....help me in finding candles with the torch light"

"Why should I" and nandu whispers taking her cell into her hands while he snatches it from her in a blink and "because am saying so"

"I can't see anything....give back my cell and follow me....!!!" and hearing nandu whine manik gives back her cell letting her lead the way but places his hands on her waist making her instantly look back at him and "what are you doing"

"Following you....why" and he utters raising his eyebrows while she smiling sarcastically jerks away his hands and "do it without touching me"

"fine" and manik controlling his smile walks into kitchen along with her and "do you know where are candles here"

"Let me check this lower shelve" and nandu bends down looking in the shelve while manik moving close to her side lets his left hand trail down from her shoulder to chest in a cross way before taking it back to his side and "hain??"

Moving back quickly nandu stands glaring him while he points to a shelf behind her and "vaha dekhe"

"Khud hi dekhlo" and nandu mutters turning away her head sideways while he slowly checking the shelve turns back towards her and "kuch dikhayi nahi dera....yaha aakhe torch pakdo na"

Standing in the same position for a minute nandu slowly moves towards him and holds the cell upwards stopping herself a little away from him while he holding her hand with his one hand and placing his another one on her waist pulls her close with a jerk and "cell vaha kaha pakad rahi ho....shelf yaha hain"

"Kisi cheez ki faida utana koyi tumse seeke" and nandu utters staring him in disbelief while he moving his hand rests it on her stomach letting his fingers play with her belly button and "haaa....main kuch samja nahi"

Moving away her gaze nandu tries to remove his hand from her stomach while he inserts his index finger inside her belly button making her stare him taking her lower lip between her teeth and "kya hua....kya kehri thi tum"

"maine candles....shayad upar vale corner cupboard main dekhe hain" and she utters lowering her head and licking her lips while he losing his grip on her lets her get away from him silently going behind her....!!!

Being well aware of his closeness nandu tries to act busy in checking the cupboard standing on her toes while manik casually placing his right hand on kitchen counter wraps his left one around her deliberately brushing his fingers on her breasts making her loose her balance a little and hold the kitchen counter for support....!!!

"Kya hua" and he whispers in her ear smiling to the fullest and just before she could reply squeezes her left breast making her gasp and push him away only to get pulled back to him again....!!!

"Itni jaldi kaha jari ho....candles tho mile hi nahi abi" and he utters acting innocent while she closing and opening her eyes points towards a corner and "tum vaha jake khade ho jao....main candles dundthi hoon....!!!"

"as you wish" and manik mutters walking away and leaning back to fridge while nandu shaking her head starts searching for candles silently but soon feeling irritated because of his burning gaze turns towards him and "what....what are you thinking now"

"nothing innocent...that much I am sure" and he replies shamelessly holding her gaze while she slapping herself mentally to even asking him turns away flushed making him control his laugh and "tumse akele nahi hoga"

Before she could say anything he lifts her up placing her on center kitchen counter and "let me check....tumne ye niche vale cupboard main nahi dekha na"

"nahi" and nandu whipers staring him sit on his knees and open the cupboard while he after quickly checking inside it inserts his left hand between her legs from inside her saree and touches her knee slightly making her instantly stare him widening her eyes....!!!

"nandiniiii....!!!" and hearing nyonika voice manik stands up without taking back his hand and "maaa"

"Tu bi yaha hi hain....lekin kar kya raha hain" and nyonika utters moving her torch light to manik face while nandu closes her eyes and "jo aap soch bi nahi sakthe hain na maa....wo....!!!"

"Kyaa" and nyonika utters cringing her eyebrows while manik sliding his hand up pinches her thigh making her opening her eyes jumping a little and "nandini ka matlab hain ham candles dund rahe the maa and please aap zara wo light hatayiye na mere muh se"

"Ohh candles tho vaha" and manik cutting nyonika in mid smiles at her and "haan maa hame abi mil gaye the candles....vaise aap soye nahi abi thak"

"tere papa ko pani chahiye tha....!!!" and nyonika walking towards fridge takes a bottle from inside while manik happily sighs that fridge was away from them at the corner....!!!

"nandini....tu kitchen counter par aise kyu baiti hain" and nyonika utters confused while nandu slowly tilts her head towards her and "mere hathon main kaha kuch hotha hain maa....!!!"

"Uske pair dukh rahe the maa...isliye wo counter ke upar bait gayi...hain na nandini....!!!" and manik slides up his hand even more close to her private part making her breath heavily and "uhmmm....haan"

"Kya hua....main" and manik once again cutting nyonika stares her with huger smile and "relax maa....ham vaise bi sone jare the....aap cheliye....madam thoda rest legi tho teek ho jayegi"

"maaa" and nandu whispers only to close her eyes instantly clutching manik right hand as he presses his thumb on her sensitive part while nyonika stares back at her and "haa beta"

"good....night" and nandu whispers biting her lower lip hard as manik continues to torture her tracing his thumb all around her sensitive spot while nyonika walks out bidding them both good night and asking them to sleep soon....!!!

"were trying to be a bad girl....uhmm??" and manik utters as soon as nyonika gets disappeared in dark while nandu gulps down hard not moving an inch and "I should....go....!!!"

"wrong answer" and he whispers moving deathly close to her while she stares him with difficulty and "please"

"am sorry" and he mutters letting his lips touch hers while she nods her head as a no moving back a little only to tremble under him having goosebumps in no time as he takes her lower lip between his teeth and"It's just beginning"
