"But sir, why did you address the meeting when Abhi sir is related to her?" one of the reporters asked which made Manik halt in his steps

"Are you married?" he counter asked the reporter to which he nodded his head

"If something happens to your wife then you are the one who is answerable to everyone right?" Manik asked and the person again nodded his head

"It's the same reason" he spoke and moved out from the room and he was about to sit in his car to drive back home when he heard his mobile notification which made him cease in his place. He was shocked and his heartbeat rose listening to the sound. He unlocked the mobile to check what he listened was true but then he was correct

He just got WhatsApp message from Nandini, this one notification made him skip his heartbeat and he knew that he was either going to find her or lose her and he is not ready for the next one.

He opened his WhatsApp and saw that there were around 10 voice messages from her which made his heart raise again

'What if she is in danger?'

'What if she is going to leave all of us?'

He played the first voice message with heavy heart

"I miss you Manik, even though I told that we will not have any mobile phones during tour and this is the first time I hate my own plan... but anyway I had reached the camp safely and call me once you get a chance"

Listening to her first message he then realised that she sent him her daily activities. He started to play all the messages

"Camp is very good, and I am loving it so much and you know what I think I love it more than you. ha-ha... now don't be jealous, I can handle you directly but not like this"

"Manik today there is one unique case and you know it took me one hour listening to his heartbeat to know the difference in its rhythm and then when I found out that what it is I was so shocked because he was just 5 years Manik and he had a rare heart disease... I want to sure him, but I can't even try until they are here"

"Today I missed you the most Manik, when I was telling his parents about his disease I want you beside me but then I know that you can't be with me for long time and even I don't even know whether we will meet next time"

"Now don't be angry with me because I know you love me enough not to be angry on me na... wait you are monster which means you will be angry on me"

"You people are enjoying so much Manik, I saw posts and stories posted by Mukti and I seriously miss you guys please come fast I can't have enough of being in your arms"

"Manik why do I feel like something is going to happen today, something which I don't feel good about and I don't even know what is going to happen but whatever it is I am going to face it"

"Manik how can people be like this, the parents of the guy didn't want to go to hospital because they don't trust doctors, and moreover even the chances of boy surviving are only 50% but they can try right"

"Today there was one tribal wedding Manik, and when I saw that wedding I remembered you and our wedding... you know Manik even though we did that marriage in helpless condition but that was the most memorable moment of my life because it made me seal my fate with a wonderful person like you and I am waiting for the day where we will tell the world that I am not only your girlfriend but also your wife"

"Today the weather is so peaceful Manik, it's so pleasant and I so wish to be in your arms wrapped in a shawl and looking at these peaceful mountains... I think that will happen only when we both meet but I don't know when it will happen but Manik I will wait for that day no matter what is the time and date I will wait for you Manik"

Those are the voice messages sent by Nandini and the last two made him cry again. Listening her voice, her laugh feeling her blush through her voice was enough to join the broke pieces of his heart and they are powerful enough to break his fragile heart.

He didn't waste another second and dialled her mobile number because he wants to know who is operating her mobile now. The other person received the call

"Hello who is this?" Manik asked the person and he heard a click sound on other side

"This is SI of lonavala police station and who are you?" the other person spoke which made Manik broke again. Even though there is no hope he thought that there will be a little chance that the receiver will be Nandini.

"This is Manik Malhotra and I want to check Nandini mobile" Manik spoke which made SI laugh

"I am afraid that is not possible sir, because you are not related to the victim and then this was an evidence in crime scene" the inspector spoke which made Manik roll his eyes

"I think you didn't see Nandini wallpaper sir, because if you see that you can understand that I am her husband and in every case the family has the right to see the evidence in presence of police" Manik spoke to which inspector agreed and decided to go to Manik house.

Soon the inspector came with mobile to their house and all four sat in the living hall.

"I got messages from Nandini mobile that are undelivered before so let's check what messages and mails are sent before from her mobile" Manik spoke while the inspector gave Nandini mobile to him. Manik unlocked her mobile and he smiled seeing the wallpaper which was their marriage picture. He then opened WhatsApp and found that there were messages sent to Abhi, Mukti and him recently. He scrolled through the messages and an unknown number caught his attention.

He opened the chat and saw that only it was a one-sided conversation and it was from some creep who was asking Nandini chance to date her, seeing this Manik started to get angry

"Sir, I will tell one number and I want you to track the number" Manik dictated the number and then he checked her mails, there was nothing out of place except that one number.

"We didn't get any clue even in her mobile and now we are back to square one" Abhi spoke after checking her mobile

"Wait Nandu has habit of taking pictures right, so let's see in her gallery" Mukti spoke and nodding his head Abhi opened her gallery. They checked the pictures which she took with everyone during the camp and then she even took pictures of patients with their files for further reference.

"Mukti check for any child with around 5 years age" Manik spoke remembering that Nandini spoke about the child

"There is one with one heart disease" she spoke after seeing and Manik took the mobile. After seeing the child face in pain, Manik got a doubt and looked at inspector

"Sir, I want you to track down these people in the surrounding area" Manik spoke and soon the inspector stood to getup when he got a phone call. He received the call and then he looked at Manik

"Are you sure?' the inspector asked and after hearing the response from the other side he disconnected the call

"I am sorry to inform this sir, but they found a dead body in the lower level of hill and based on what description we have we concluded that it was Nandini mam but we need your confirmation so when you are ready please come to government hospital to confirm the body" the inspector spoke and then he left leaving three heartbroken people behind.
