12'0 clock in the night.
Opening my heavy eyelids, I really tried hard to register my surroundings. Due to the crying session, my head was paining like hell and I needed some medicine, badly.
Instinctively, I stepped out of my room, only to get the shock of my life.
Manik was sitting on the floor, with his head resting on the wall. He was in a deep slumber, with strains of dried tears, all over his face.
On seeing Manik in such a vulnerable condition, my heart was drowning in sadness.
Not only me, but Manik had also suffered a lot, during the past few hours.
But the thing, that melted my heart, was the sight of Manik holding the teddy bear gifted by me, near his chest , as if, his life depended on it.
Without uttering a word, I went and sat beside Manik, on the floor.
After admiring Maniks face for hours, I finally placed my head on his shoulder, with a little hesitation.
Me ( pov ) ( brain storming session ): kya sacch hai? ????.....kya jhuth hai? ???.....kuch samajh nehin aa raha ayyappa! !!!.....Manik aisa nehin kar sakta  (with full confidence ). ....toh kya. ...Soha ne? ????
Thinking about the truth, I drifted to a peaceful sleep, with Manik by my side.

6'0 clock in the morning.
With lots of difficulties, Manik finally opened his eyes.
Due to last night's crying spree, Maniks head was feeling heavy. But more than Maniks head, his shoulder felt heavy.
Tilting his head a little, Manik witnessed the world's most beautiful sight.
With her messed hair, Nandini was sleeping peacefully, on his shoulder.
Though Maniks shoulder was paining badly, but still, he sat over there, not at all ready to disturb Nandini's sleep.
Manik ( pov ) ( with a loving smile ): isse main kabhie bhi samajh nehin paunga! !!!!!......madam ko saari harkate wife wale hi karne hai! !!!!......chahein woh gussa karna ho. ....yah haq jaatana! !!!!.....magar kabhie yeh nehin maanegi. ..ki woh mujhse kitna pyaar karti hai! !!!......kyon ki pyaar ke naam pein usska family size ego joh jaag uthta hai. .....
But, Maniks admiring session was interrupted, when Nandini slowly opened her eyes.
Me ( pov ) ( dreamily ): aaj kal mujhe sapne mein bhi Manik dikh raha hai. .....so strange naa ayyappa. ....hum dono ke faces kitne pass pass hai. ....as if. ....we are gonna kiss! !!!!!!
Immediately ,coming out of the trance, I realised, what the heck I was thinking.
Abruptly getting up, I moved towards my room, with an idiotic blush on my face.
It took few seconds for Manik to realise, what just happened.
Manik ( pov ) ( disappointed ) : laagta hai kal wali baat se ab bhi gussa hai! !!!!!!.....Nandini ko kaise samjhau. ....ki meri iss mein koi galti nehin hai! !!!!!

In the college.
Manik was so much engrossed in his thoughts, that unmindfully he entered an empty classroom. His trance was broken, when a familiar voice said " kaisa laaga mera gift. ...Manik? ???"
Raising his head, Manik found Soha standing in front of him, with a wicked smile. Maniks confused look was replaced by anger.
He was ready to pounce on Soha and strangle her. When, Nandini came and stood in front of him, out of nowhere.
On seeing Nandini, Soha's face turned pale. While, Manik just stood over there, admiring his possessive fiance.
Taking Soha's hand, Nandini placed the pen drive on her palm.
Soha was a little shocked, but immediately composed herself.
Soha ( with a wicked grin ): so. ....how was it Manik? ???....agar tum chahon. ...toh main iss se zyaada kar sakti hu. ....and I think. ...Nandini won't mind! !!!!!!
On hearing her, I was all ready to go thermonuclear.
Me ( calmly ) : STAY AWAY FROM MANIK! !!!!!!!
Soha ( sarcastically ) : kyon? ????.....dar laag raha hai kya? ????....ki main kahi Manik ko tum se alag naa kar du! !!!!!!
This was a complete shock for Manik. He just gaped at Soha in disbelief. Manik always knew, that Soha had feelings for him. But he never reciprocated it, so that Soha doesn't get hurt. Manik always thought of Soha as a good friend.
But, his so called friend Soha, was hell bent on separating Manik, from love of his life, Nandini. After this revelation, Manik was really hurt. His trust was shattered.
Me ( with full attitude ) : darna??????.....aur tum se? ?????.....are you serious BITCH?????????
Soha ( shouted ): mind your tongue. .....
Me ( pissed ) ( yet very calm ): and you. ....keep your dirty paws off my fiance! !!!!!
On hearing Nandini's statement, Manik was mentally jumping in excitement and cheering for his 'warrior princess '.
I mean. ....the feeling of your girl, fighting for you, is really amazing and Manik was on cloud nine.
Soha ( completely burst out ): your fiance? ?????......what a lie! !!!!!......tum toh abhi abhi Manik ke life mein ayi ho. .....lekin main. ....main usse bahut pehele se hi pyaar karti hu! !!!!.....main aur Manik khush hote.......saath hote! !!!!.......agar tum. ....hum dono ke beech nehin ayi hoti! !!!!!......main toh bass iss video se yeh hi baatana chahti thi ki. ...main Manik se kitna pyaar karti hu! !!!!!......main Manik ko tum se zyaada khush rakh sakti hu! !!!!!......you just don't deserve him. .....usse chhod kyon nehin deti? ?????
That's it, this girl has tested my patience a lot.
Before she could open her filthy mouth, to speak any further shit, I shut it with a tight slap, across her face.
Manik was shocked by her action. But then, his face lit up with a smirk.
Manik ( pov ) : not bad kid! !!!!....sahi mein. ....I am lucky to have you as my life partner! !!!!!!
Coming out of his trance, Manik eagerly waited for Nandini to speak something.
Soha glared at Nandini, like a wounded lioness.
Nandini ( with full authority ): just shut up. ...you bitch! !!!!...ab agar aapne gaande muh se Manik ka naam liya naa. ....toh I swear. ....I would rip your head. .....bury you alive. ....and then dance on your grave like a maniac! !!!!!!!......I trust Manik. ....and I trust our relationship! !!!!.....so. .....you don't dare think of separating us! !!!!! (Literally roared )........because it's not happening! !!!!........iss janam ke liye Manik aur main saath hai! !!!!!!......aur hamesha saath rahenge. .....
Completely embarrassed, Soha left all crying. While, I just waved at her, saying " GOODBYE FOREVER ".
