Nandini's  (Principal's) Office

After doing overtime, Nandini finally decided to call it a day.
Nandini ( pov ) : ayyappa. ...ab toh ghar jaana hi parega. ...aaj ghar pura khali hoga. ....kaise main akeli rahungi? ????.....kya karu. ...Mukti ke pass chali jau. ...yah Navya ko bula lu. .....nehin. ..nehin. ...sab bekaar mein hi pareshaan ho jaenge. ....ek raat ki hi toh baat hai. ...aur tabiyaat bhi theek nehin laag raha hai. ...ghar pein aaj jaldi soo jaungi! !!!!

Ringing the door bell, Manik was standing in front of his own house, after 3 years.
Manik ( pov ) : yaha ake maine koi galti toh nehin kar di? ????
His thoughts were interrupted, as the servant opens the door.
Servant  (with a warm smile ) : Manik beta ....aap? ????
Manik ( giving a shy smile ) : haan. ...woh kaka. ...aap kaise ho? ???
Servant : andaar aao naa beta. ...hum bilkul theek hai
Manik stepped inside the house and realised that, the furniture, the curtains, paints on the wall, everything had changed.
Manik ( pov ) : impressive. ...mom ne shayaad renovation ka  kaam karwaya hai
Manik ( facing the servant, with some hesitation ): kaka. ...mom soo rahi hai kya? ???
Servant : nehin beta. ...woh toh ghar pein nehin hai. ...do - chaar din ke liye bahar gayi hai! !!
Manik took a breath of sigh.
Manik : hmm. ..theek hai. ..aap jake rest ki jiya. ...mujhe kuch nehin chahiye.
The servant nodded his head and left from there.
Gathering all his guts, Manik went towards his bedroom. Switching on the lights, Manik took a deep breath.
Manik ( pov ) : yaha pein sab kuch waise ka waise hi hai. ....bass Nandini hi nehin hai! !!!
Putting his thoughts away, Manik went towards the wardrobe.
To his surprise, the wardrobe contained his clothes as well as Nandini's also.
Manik ( with a sad smile ): shayaad aapne iss life ki koi bhi yaad. ...Nandini aapne saath leke nehin jaana chahti thi! !!
Rubbing of his tears, Manik headed towards the bathroom.

Nandini was dog tired. Entering the bedroom, she realised that, the lights were on.
Nandini ( pov ) : yeh lights kyon jal rahe hai. ..shayaad galti se on reh gaya hoga! !!!!
Switching off the lights, Nandini opened her sandal and found her way towards the bed.
Climbing on the bed, Nandini covered herself with the white blanket and closed her eyes.

Standing in front of the door, Mukti rummaged her purse and took out the duplicate keys of 'Malhotra Mansion ',which Nandini had handed her, for emergency.
Mukti ( with a smile ) : mil gaya! !!!!
She unlocked the door and headed inside. While, Fab3 followed her.
Aliya : I am actually feeling scared! !!!
Mukti : Aliya. ....tu bhi naa. ...acche kaam karte waqt kabhie scared nehin hona chahiye! !!!
Dhruv : I just hope ki kal subha Nandini humein job se na nikal de! !!!
Cabir : uss ki tension maat kar. ...main Nandini ko bribe karne ke liye usska favourite chinese food laya hu
Mukti : I know. ...yeh plan kuch zyaada jaldi baana. ..but main nehin chahti thi ki Nandini akele ghar pein rahe. ....you know naa. ...those painful memories. ...

In the bedroom
After taking a bath, Manik came out of the bathroom. To his surprise, the lights were switched off.
Manik ( pov ) : yeh lights kisne off kiya? ???....shayaad koi servant hoga. ..
Manik was feeling so lazy, that he didn't cared, to switch on the lights.
Coming towards his bed, Manik realised that, the blanket was kept on the right hand side of the bed.
Manik ( pov ) : ab yeh blanket ko kisne aise rakha? ???.....yeh ghar hai ki kya hai! !!!!......koi bhi kabhie bhi room aa jataa hai. ...aur cheezo ko idhar udhar kar deta hai. ...
Irritatedly, Manik went and laid down on the empty side of the bed.
Manik was feeling awkward, for last 3 years, he was unable to have a sound sleep. He kept on starring at the roof for a while and remembered Veer's carefree face.
Unknowingly, Manik placed one of his hands on the blanket.
The touch made, Nandini to open her eyes and she got scared.
Nandini ( pov ) ayyappa. ...yeh kya tha? ????
