In Manik's Bedroom

Once, you get a green signal from your family to go ahead with your relationship with the person whom you love, you don't need to get feared of any damn person in the world. And so, Manik and Nandini's case was no different. Yesterday night, they slept in Manik's bedroom that too with the elders' permission by saying they would never cross their limits and moreover, Raj and Viren had immense trust in them..

It was 6 in the morning and Nandini Dixit has opened her eyes who was literally sleeping on her boyfriend or to-be husband..She blinked her eyes twice to get used to the sunlight and the next moment her gaze went to the love of her life, the great Manik Malhotra who was sleeping like a baby with his mouth half open and his hands around her waist..

She smiled and caressed his cheeks and in return, she got a sleepy smile which made her smile brightly..She simply kissed his forehead and untangled herself after a great effort, he is no less than some wrestler when it comes to caging her..

She walked to the door without making noise and opened the door while praying inside that the door shouldn't make any creeks..

Once, she got outside, she breathed a sigh of relief and rushed to downstairs and reached the kitchen while panting heavily..

Nandini ( still panting ): Mami...

Shanno, who was working in the kitchen turned behind to see a panting Nandini..She smiled and moved towards her and kissed her forehead making him smile..

Shanno: Good Morning, princess..

Nandini ( smiled ): Good Morning, Mami...Ab aap bathayiye..kya kaam tha jo aap mujhe ithni subah yaha aane keliye kaha..

Shanno ( smiled excitedly ): Arey mujhe mere bete ko maaf karna hai na, mere style mein, isiliye tujhe kal raath mene subah jaldhi utne keliye kaha tha..

Nandini ( disbelievingly ): Seriously Mami..? Aapka kuch nahi ho saktha..

Shanno ( ignored it ): Tu chup kar. Manik ut gaya kya..?

Nandini ( nodded in No ): Nahi..par jaldhi ut jayega..

Shanno ( frowned ): Arey wo early riser tho nahi na..

Nandini ( unknowingly ): Arey, he wakes up when he misses me..

And she bit her lips and looked at Shanno only to see her giving a teasing smirk to her..

Shanno: When he misses you...???

Nandini ( looked here and there ): Um...aapko kuch kaam tha na..chalo bathayiye..

Shanno pinched her cheeks and giggled..

Shanno: Ab ithna blush math karo, mein janthi hoon tum dhono ek dusre ko ek second thak keliye bhi chodna nahi chahthe hai..

Nandini ( pouted ): Mami, don't tease me na..

Shanno ( laughed ): Chalo, teek hai, chod rahi hoon. Come with me..

Shanno took Nandini and showed a tray to her..

Shanno: How's it..?

Nandini widened her eyes in shock..

Nandini: Ye sab..When did you make them..??

Shanno ( smiled ): Arey I woke up an hour back and decided to make it. Tujhe tho patha hai na, mujhe Indian khana banana nahi aathi hai isiliye ye try kiya hai. Only you know Manik's taste right. So, taste them and tell me does it taste good or not..!!

Nandini smiled warmly at her Mami for that little effort of her's to make Manik happy. She tasted the food and it was so yum that she couldn't stop herself from moaning..

Nandini: Hmm..By God, Mami. Manik wouldn't share this with anyone..

Shanno smiled in relief..

Shanno: Chalo, ab tum ye kamre mein le chalo..

Nandini ( frowned ): Aap nahi aaoge..?? you cooked it for him so he should know it..

Shanno ( winked ): Arey, it's his duty to identify his mother's culinary skills so let him come to me..

Nandini chuckled after hearing her and she nodded. She took the food in a trolley and took it upstairs and opened her bedroom only to see a restless Manik who was knocking on her bathroom..

Nandini ( frowned ): What's wrong, Manik..?

Manik turned in a swift and he breathed a sigh of relief..He rushed to her and took her in his embrace shocking her, though she hugged him back. She could feel him breathing heavily which worried her..

Nandini ( softly ): Mani...kya hua..

Instead of replying, he broke the hug and looked at her face and checked her from top to bottom while she was looking at his tensed face with only worry.

Nandini ( cupped his cheeks ): Mani...

Manik looked at her to see her questioning face. He sighed and picked her in his arms and sat on the bed with her on his lap..

Nandini ( worried ): Ab tho bathao..tum ithna restless kyu dikh rahe the..

Manik ( sighed ): Nothing..It was just a..bad dream..

Nandini ( furrowed her eyebrows ): What dream..?

Manik ( held her hand tightly ): Where were you..When I woke up, you weren't with me..?

Nandini: Arey mein neeche gayi thi, par ismein ithna worry hone ka kya baath hai..Manik, baath kya hai..

Manik ( cupped her cheeks ): You...you were hurt..Someone..shot you..I..I can't lose you again, Nandu..

Nandini sighed and wiped his sweat with her palms..

Nandini: Manik, it was just a bad dream so you shouldn't get worked up with it. Even I have dreamt a lot about getting hurt but it never happened..

Manik ( nodded in no ): No..It's not about me getting hurt but it's about you. I won't let anyone to snatch you from me..

Nandini ( held his shoulders ): Okay relax. Mein kahi nahi jaanewali, Mani. Tumhe chodkar bhale kahi jaa sakthi mein. And even God can't see it. He will never allow us to get apart again. Have trust in HIM. Aur meri Mumma unke saath hai, wo meri khushiyan cheene nahi degi unhe..

Manik relaxed a bit and made her lay on the bed and kept his head on her chest and she ruffled his hairs..

Manik ( sighed ): Did I scare you...?

Nandini ( smiled ): Thoda sa..ab agar ithna frantic behave karoge tho mein bhi panic hojayegi na..

Manik ( smiled ): I am sorry..

Nandini ( smiled ): It's okay..Now, get up, you need to have food..

Manik ( bad face ): Tum ithna unromantic kyu ho..Let's stay like this, for some more time..

Nandini ( glared ): Oh hello, we slept together at night and most of the time, you were busy in your romance and even now, you want to romance. Aur koi cheez hi nahi aathe tumhe..

He hovered above her and captured her lips without any warning halting her in her rants..He entwined her fingers with his and deepened the kiss while she responded with equal intensity..

Manik ( breaking the kiss ): Good Morning, Love..

Nandini ( smiled ): I love you..

He smiled widely in return and joined their foreheads..She snaked her arms around his neck and caressed it..

Nandini: Mani..

Manik: Hmm...

Nandini: Freshen up and come..

While, he was busy in kissing her neck..

Nandini: Manikkkk....ab bas karo na..chalo, breakfast karna hai..

He didn't listen, so she bit his shoulders hard..

Manik ( naughtily ): I didn't know you wanted to play with me. Come one, Love..Let's get start..

Nandini ( shocked ): You didn't get hurt..

Manik ( huskily ): That felt like pleasure..

Nandini ( frustrated ): Ughhhh...

He laughed out and laid on his back..

Nandini: Manik...uthoo...

Finding no other choice, he stood up grumpily..SHe pushed him to bathroom..

Nandini: Jaldhi nahalo. Breakfast khana hai..

Manik ( pouted ): Ek kiss...??

Nandini ( glared ): Mein kiss karna hi chod doongi agar tum 15 minutes mein nahake nahi aaoge tho..

And that worked, he closed the door immediately and started to shower while she stared to clean the room laughingly..

Nandini: Why does he have a closet..!!

She spoke while picking his clothes from the floor..Right after 15 minutes, Manik came out wrapped only in a towel..

Nandini ( yelled ): Manik....wear your pants..

He chuckled and moved close to her and hugged her form behind..

Nandini ( glared ): Manik...I said, wear your pants..

Manik: What..you have seen me like this before too..

Nandini: That's what I hate about you. Why don't you wear your pants..

He turned her in a swift and she banged on his bare chest..

Manik ( sarcastically ): You can't see me in a towel but you can give autographs on bare chests, huh..

Nandini ( confused ): What...? What are you talking about..??

Manik ( glared ): Let me remind you, Miss Dixit. The night where you gave autograph on that cop's chest..

And now, her mind worked and she giggled seeing his red face. She pinched his cheeks slightly..

Nandini: You look so cute when you get jealous..I think, I need to get close to other guys to see this cute face..

Manik ( gripped her waist ): Dare you pull off such stunts Miss Dixit, I wouldn't mind to rip his head off..

Nandini ( giggled ): Okay fine. I am not bringing the monster out of you. Chalo, khana khao..

Manik ( suspiciously ): Tum mujhe khana khilane ka koi plan kiya hai kya jo ithni mehnath kar rahi ho aur tum ye khana kab banaya hai. It's just 6: 45 a.m. Hua kya hai tujhe. We used to have our breakfast with family..phir..??

Nandini ( bit her lips ): Nothing much..Aur ye khana..mene nahi banaya..

Manik ( furrowed his eyebrows ): Tumne nahi banaya..phir kisne..??

Nandini ( glared ): Ab tum bina sawal poochke khana nahi khaa sakthe kya..??

Manik ( raised his hands high ): Okay chill. Gussa kyu ho rahi ho..Khaa raha hoon na..

She made him sit on the bed and brought the trolley in front of him and opened the lids making his jaw drop..

Manik: Ye..sab..kis..keliye..??

Nandini ( sarcastically ): Ab iss kamre mein tumhare alawa aur koi dikh rahe hai kya..Agar hai tho uskeliye hai, tum ye khana nahi khaa sakthe..kyu..koi problem hai..

Manik ( glared ): Ithna bhi sarcastic hone ke zaroorath nahi hai..Waise agar 10 logon ke khana tum mere samne rakh liya hai tho obviously poochega na..

Nandini ( whined ): Tum pehle khake bathao na..

He sighed and took first morsel and he moaned making her smile widely..

Manik: Its soo yummyyyy...Kisne...banaya....

Nandini ( raised his eyebrow ): Kisne banaya...??

Manik ( frowned ): None of our workers got this taste in them..And, this taste is new to me. Everyone has got their own taste and this sin't even yours too..Phir kaun ho sakthe hai..

Nandini: Pehle pet bhar ke khao phir baath karo..

Manik ( nodded ): Tum bhi khao..

Nandini: Mein baad mein khaaongi..

She wanted him to relish the whole thing because it was made by a mother for her son..Manik just pulled her on his lap..

Manik ( glared ): Mujhe akela khana khaana pasandh nahi hai..

She sighed in defeat and started eating with him and in between they were feeding each other too..

Manik ( scratched his head ): Who would have made it, then...

Nandini shrugged her shoulders and nodded in No while he sat there in confusion. He took the juice and started drinking but immediately halted in between..He inhaled the juice's smell and took one more sip and looked at Nandini with moist eyes..

Manik ( softly ): Chachi....

Nandini ( grinned with moist eyes ): Mami...get used to it..

He got shocked after knowing his guess was right..

Manik ( whispered ): How...??

Nandini ( kissed his forehead ): I told you, she will come around..

Manik smiled like a fool..

Manik ( in tears ): Her style of forgiveness, right..

She chuckled at him and he kept his head on her shoulder..

Nandini: She's waiting for you..

Manik ( curiously ): It shouldn't be a joke..

Nandini: If you trust me, you'll be downstairs within a minute..

He simply kept her on the ground and kissed her cheeks hardly and rushed outside while she stood there with a never ending smile on her lips..

Manik ran downstairs and searched the whole Mansion and at the end he came to the kitchen to see Shanno making some batter in a bowl with a lot of concentration in it. He smiled widely and walked to her and stood a bit far from her..

Manik ( grinned ): Bindi Pasta milega kya..??

Shanno's hands halted and she grinned after hearing Manik's voice. She turned with the same smile and spoke sternly..

Shanno: I never knew you got habitual to my Bindi Pasta..

Manik ( smiled ): Aadat tho aapse jude hue har cheez ko lekar tha, bas notice karne mein bhool hue aur ab tho rectify karna chahtha hoon..Milega kya..Maafi..??

Shanno ( smiled amidst tears ): Maaf nahi kiya hotha tho Shanno Murthy ki breakfast tumhare kismath mein nahi likhtha..

He just chuckled happily..

Manik: Can I get a hug..??

Shanno spread her arms and it didn't take Manik a second to crash in her arms..He sobbed lightly like a kid as if complaining her why couldn't she come to him..??

Manik: You didn't miss me..??

Shanno ( smiled ): Kehthe hai, Ma kabhi apne bachon ko miss nahi karthe hai kyunki wo sabse ache janthe hai ki uske bache kiss haalath mein honge, kaise honge, khush hai ki nahi, usse chahthe hai ya nahi..Do you think I miss you..?

Manik broke the hug and simply nodded in No with a red nose..

Shanno ( cupped his cheeks ): And I do know, you wanted my warmth..

Manik ( cutely ): Haa..par aapko tho mere fikar hi nahi thi. Galathi tho kiya par ithni badi saza kaise de sakthe hai aap..Mein aapka beta hoon na..Koi Ma aise karthe hai kya..

Shanno held her ears and pouted cutely..

Shanno: I am sorry...Mujhe maaf karoge..??

Manik ( grinned ): Koi baath nahi, mera dil bohath bada hai..

Shanno slapped his arms making him chuckle. She kissed his forehead lovingly..

" Uhu Uhu..." they turned to the voice to see someone standing at the door..

Person ( pouted ): Not fair Mami, beta kya mili, beti ko bhool gayi..

Manik ( smirked ): Don't you think something is burning, Miss Dixit..

Nandini showed him her eyes..

Shanno ( giggled ): Ab tum bhi aaja..

Nandini ran and hugged her and Manik hugged both of them..

Nandini ( bad face ): You guys may not miss each other but I missed this..

Manik and Shanno giggled at her..

Shanno ( breaking the hug ): Chalo, jaldhi jaakar fresh hoja..

Manik: Arey don't you think I am looking fresh like a daisy..

Nandini: Usually, we use it for girls, Mr. Malhotra..

Manik ( glared ): So..? What is the meaning of that phrase..?

Nandini ( casually ): To be full of energy..

Manik ( nodded ): Exactly..Even I am looking energetic..

Nandini ( bad face ): You don't use daisy for a guy, Manik..It looks so awkward..

Manik ( annoyed ): Arey but, I use it..I don't find anything awkward in it..

Nandini ( frustrated ): You're seriously weird. Daisy is a plant and we use that name for girls..

Manik: Who told that plants should be used only for girls...?

Shanno ( irritated ): Bas karo tum dono..chote bache hai kya..? Kehne keliye boyfriend aur girlfriend hai par ladai karthe hue dekha tho college enemies ke tarah dikh rahe hai..

Manik and Nandini smiled sheepishly at her..

Shanno ( sternly ): Nandu, fatafat jaakar fresh hoja..tumhari pooja hai na..Aur aaj tho Dev ki mehendi bhi hai, kithni kaam hai..

Nandini ( held her head ): Oh shit..

She ran out of the kitchen like a Ferrari car and the duo laughed at it..

In Manik's Bedroom

Manik was searching for a perfect outfit for Dev's Mehendi, when he heard a knock on his door. He moved to the door and opened it only to get surprised..

Manik ( smiled ): Vien Dadda..

Viren smiled and gestured by hand, can he enter inside..

Manik ( stepped aside ): Arey aap pooch kyu rahe hai..aayiye na..

Viren entered inside only to widen his eyes and looked at Manik who was looking at Viren with a stupid grin on his face..

Viren ( horrified ): Tum yaha koi jung lad rahe the kya..

Manik ( embarrassed ): Arey nahi..wo, I was looking for an outfit..It's Dev's Mehendi and I didn't know what to wear..

Viren smiled and forwarded something to Manik..

Manik ( frowned ): Ye box...??

Viren ( smiled ): Open it..

Manik nodded at him and opened the box only to smile widely..

Viren: Tere liye hi hai..

Manik snapped his head at Viren to see his curious eyes..

Viren: Pasand aaya tujhe..

He was curious while on the other hand, Manik was overwhelmed with it. It was the first time, Viren was gifting him something and it felt a lot important for him..

Manik ( grinned ): It's simply outstanding..

Viren ( sighed in relief ): Thank God. Mein tho darr gaya tha, aakhir fashion designer Nanidni Dixit ka boyfriend jo hai, mehnath tho zyada hi karna padega..

Manik ( chuckled ): Aap apki beti ki kuch zyada hi thaareef kar rahe hai..

Viren ( chuckled ): Aur ye uska kaanth thak pohanchna nahi chahiye, warna mujhe chodegi bhi nahi..Bilkul uski mumma pe gayi hai, jungli billi..

Manik ( laughed ): Ab tho zaroor sunna nahi chahiye..

Viren chuckled..Soon, someone else entered inside and sighed at Viren..

Person: Tere paas aur koi kaam hi nahi..

Viren ( sighed ): Mr. Raj Malhotra, aapko shaayadh mujhse koi dushmani hai tabhi tho mujhe pareshan karne lage. Ya tho meri beti ke kamre mein ya phir mere bete ke kamre mein..kya chahiye tujhe..

Raj glared and threw a pillow at him and Viren threw a bottle of water at Raj while Manik was staring at them with a shocked face..

Raj ( scowled ): Saale, you are the one who have some enmity with me. Ya tho meri beti ke kamre mein ya phir mere bete ke kamre mein..

Viren: Oye, wo mera dialogue tha..

Raj: Kisine kaha kya ki dialogues dho baar nahi kehna chahiye..

Virne: Ji nahi, balki ek hi dialogue dho logon ko nahi kehna chahiye..

Raj: Acha ji..aur ye kiska rule hai..??

Viren: Virendhar Dixit ka rule hai..

Raj: Aur Raj Malhotra kisike sunthe nahi..

Viren: Ye tho tujhe bathane ke zaroorath nahi hai, teri mumma bhi mujhse zyada pyar karthi thi kyunki tu tho unke bhi sunthe nahi hai..

Raj: Oye, bhoolna math, teri Mumma mujhse zyada pyar karthi thi..

Manik ( thought ): Mujhe tho laga mere aur Cabir ke jaise koi nahi hais iss dunya mein and sadly I got proved wrong..

" What the hell is happening here..?? " the three turned to the voice and Manik was staring at the person with wide opened mouth..

Viren: Doll..Ab tum hi iss samjhao..

Raj: Love, tumhe isse samjhana chahiye, mujhe nahi..

Nandini walked inside and glared at both the men..

Nandini: Seriously..? You still can't stop fighting..? Dad, Pops..ab tho oldy ban chuke hai..

She giggled at the end only to earn cold glares from them..

Viren: Excuse me, Miss Dixit..?? If you don't remember, let me tell you, ladkiyan marthe hai mujhpe..

Raj: And let me remind you, ladies still beg for a chance to work with me just to have a glance of mine..

Nandini ( fake surprised ): Baap rey, ab tho aap logon pe nazar rakhna chahiye, kya patha kisi dhin, kisi aurath ke sath aaye tho, hum bachon ka kya hoga phir..

Viren smacked her head making her giggle.

Raj ( sighed ): Manu..close your mouth..kabse usse ghoor rahe ho tum..

And this brought Manik out of his trance and made Nandini to blush..

Viren ( grinned+shocked ): Seriously, I should give you a Nobel prize for making my daughter blush, Manu. I mean, the great Nandini Dixit blushed..wow...!!!

Nandini glared at him which he ignored..

Manik ( smirked ): In that case, I am flattered Dadda..

Nandini ( glared ): Oh really, Mr. Malhotra..??

Manik ( smiled sheepishly ): I was joking, Nandu..

Nandini gave a fake smile..

Raj ( dramatically ): Kya zamaana aaya hai, Manik Malhotra kisise darne lage, wo bhi ek ladki se..mera tho pet bharr gaya..

Manik shot a glare at him and Nandini giggled at it..

Nandini: Wiase aap dhono yaha kya kar rahe hai..

Raj: Arey I forgot, iss Viren ke chakkar mein sab kuch bhool gaya mein, hato saale..

Viren smacked Raj's head who simply ignored him and moved to Manik and took his ( Manik's ) hand in his and made him wear something..

Raj ( smiled ): Lo hogaya..Viren, tujhe kaise laga..

Viren: Tera selection mujhe kabhi pasand nahi aatha par ye ache lag rahe hai..

Raj: Chup kar saale..Love, tum bathao..

Nandini ( smiled ): Mujhe tho aapse jude hue har cheez pasand hai, but don't you think you need to ask the one who is wearing it..

Raj simply turned to Manik..

Raj: Uska jawab uske aankhone mein dikhthe hai..You loved it..huh..

Manik was just staring at it with tears in his eyes..

Manik: Is it enough to know my answer if I confess how much I love you..

Raj ( smiled lovingly ): You don't need to. I just know it..

Manik hugged him and he ruffled his hairs..Manik moved to Viren and hugged him tightly who hugged him back with a smile..

Viren: I know you love me, so don't wast time in saying it..

Manik chuckled and broke the hug..

Nandini watched it with a sweet smile playing on her lips..Raj moved to her and side hugged her.

Raj ( teased ): Waise Love, aap yaha kya kar rahe hai..?

She bit her lips and gave a sweet smile to him..

Viren ( smirked ): Haa doll. We had to give Manik something but what about you..?? Kuch dena tha kya..

Manik smirked at Nandini and raised his eyebrows which angered her and she glared at him..

Raj: Usse kya ghoor rahe ho, Love..Bolo na..

Nandini ( smirked ): Well, this is my boyfriend's bedroom..!! Can't I come to visit him..??

And the rest three dropped their jaws down and she laughed out at their faces..

Nandini: What..Even I can play..

Viren ( chuckled ): Mein tho ye kaise bhool gayi tum ismein bhi tumhari mumma pe gayi ho..Waise Manu, ek free advice doon..pehle pehle doll bhi reciprocate karegi par aage aage dekho, she will push you off from doing it..

MaNan: Doing what..??

Viren ( casually ): Arey ROMANCE..Just like her mother, will always be a romance breaker..

Nandini opened her mouth wide while Manik found it so funny that he ended up in laughter. Raj simply palmed his face..

Raj: Abey bachon se ye sab discuss karthe hai kya..

Virne: Arey wo bache kaha, shadi ke umar ho chuke hai..

Nandini ( whined ): Dad...

Viren chuckled..

Manik ( chuckled ): Waise Vien Dadda, you're completely right in that case..Just like her Mumma..

Viren ( shouted ): Whatttt...ye abhi se hi romance breaker hai, I pity you..

Raj took hold of Viren's arm and dragged hi outside..

Raj: Chup kar saale..kabhi tho apna muh se kuch acha kaam karo..

Viren: Kartha hoon na..EATING...

Raj closed the door from outside and took Viren with him while Manik and Nandini were laughing..

Manik: God, he's so funny. I so love him..

Nandini ( laughed ): Quiet different...

From nowhere, he pinned her on the wall..

Manik: Waise, you're killing in this attire..Irada kya hai madam..??

Nandini ( blushed ): Is it working..?? On you..??

Manik ( dropped a kiss on her neck ): Totally..

She moaned his name and he moved down and bit her collarbone which left a mark on it..

Nandini ( moaned ): Mani....

He licked it to soothe the pain. He dropped feather-like kisses from her earlobe to her neck while she ruffled his hairs..

Nandini: Mani...

Mnaik: Hmm..

Nandini: You need to get ready..

Manik ( lost in her ): Hmmm...

He leaned to her face and captured her lips in his mouth and sucked them. He caressed her waist making her moan and he entered her mouth and sucked her tongue..They broke the kiss when they went breathless..

Manik: Love...

Nandini ( panting heavily ): Hmm..

Manik ( smiled ): I love you..

Nandini ( smiled ): I love you..

They joined their foreheads and drowned in their world..
