In Malhotra Mansion

Today, everyone decided to have a get together in Malhotra Mansion. The elders always find some or the other reason to be with each other and so many at times, there would be a get together. And the youngsters were more than ready for it as they never get tired of being with their family. They find their family life happy and cool instead of their working life..

The dinner was kept ready on the table and everybody were present except for Fab 5.

Lalith: Alex..get Fab 5 from upstairs.

Alex nodded and went away. he came back after informing them..

Alex: Only Mukti Mam and Alya Mam were present upstairs..

Raj ( frowned ): Then where are the boys..?

Alex: the girls didn't know about them..

Akash: Navya beta..kya tum janthe ho..?

Navya: Ji Papa..mein un theenon ko garden mein jaathe hue dekha tha..Nandu, tum un theenon ko bulao..

Nandini stared at Navya in suspicion while she was looking at her with a very innocent face.

Nandini ( smiled ): Sure Navu..

Navya ( thought ): I had seen the boys going towards garden but never thought I would be able to send Nandini over there. Maybe, such coincidences would bring Manik and Nandini closer. I know Nandu, you had to bear a lot because of Manik but your happiness lies in him..

Nandini went away to the garden while Soha was a silent spectator. She knew what was running in Navya's mind..

In the Garden

ManBirUv were standing near to a tree but Manik looked so nervous and the rest two were glaring at him..

Manik ( stammered ): Yar Cabir, I told you right..I don't know anything about it..

Cabir ( sarcastically ): really..? you think I am mad..?

Dhruv ( calmly ): Manik, we know about your temper, and when you get angry..you would end up in trouble..

Nandini came at the same time and was searching for the boys when she spotted them standing near to the tree..She walked towards them but then stopped after hearing Manik..

Manik ( glared ): I told you..I didn't do anything wrong..I wasn't in any trouble..

Cabir ( glared ): Manik Malhotra..we are your best friends since childhood and so we know you in and out..Don't forget that even we were present when that guy Philip asked Nandini to go for a date with him..

Nandini opened her mouth wide in shock. Her eyes widened in shock, it could even come out of the sockets, she never expected him to know about Philip's ill mannered behavior towards her. And now, she knew how that guy ended up in hospital..

Nandini ( held her head in frustration ): Kya karu mein..Already I had possessive brothers and friends and now this guy whom I used to Love..What the hell..Didn't I ask him to stay away from me, ah but this is Manik Malhotra..He would never listen..not at least to me..

She walked more further and called out..

Nandini: Any serious situation going on..?

The boys stopped their argument and looked to their side to see Nandini with an expressionless face..

Manik ( immediately ): No..no..nothing..

Nandini ( coolly ): You are stammering like you have done a crime..

Cabir and Dhruv chuckled. Only Nandini Dixit could make the Manik Malhotra stammer..

Nandini: Anyway, the dinner is ready..

Cabir ( excitedly ): Really..? Thank God you came Nandini..I was really starving..

Nandini ( shocked ): I f I am not wrong, Navya told me that you guys just had your snacks one hour back..

Cabir had already started walking..

Cabir: Ek ghanta tho bohath hai yar..Chalo chalo..what are waiting for..?

Dhruv sighed and followed him..

Nandini ( muttered under her breathe ): Arya aur ye bohath similar hai..

Manik: I heard it Miss Dixit..

Nandini turned to find Manik standing beside her..She looked front to see Dhruv and Cabir walking in front..Taking it as a cue..She took hold of Manik's arm and moved to a secret dark corner and pinned him on the tree which shocked him..

Manik ( shocked ): Whoa..don't you think you are behaving like a desperate GIRLFRIEND..?

She glared at him while he chuckled after seeing her red angry face..

Nandini ( glared ): What the heck was wrong with you..huh..?

Manik ( frowned ): Now, what did I do..?

Nandini ( gritted her teeth ): Don't act smart with me Mr. Malhotra..I know that you are the reason for Philip's condition..

He looked at her in shock..

Nandini ( glared ): I heard your friends telling that you heard Philips and mine conversation which was enough for me to understand the rest..

Manik started looking here and there..

Nandini ( sarcastically ): Care to explain..?

Manik ( glared ): So, what's the issue in it..? He ill treated you and you think I would stay quiet..?

Nandini ( angry ): Really Manik..? Don't you think that even you used to ill treat me, back in college..? The only difference was you tortured me and he asked me to be his bed partner..

Manik ( shouted ): That's enough Nandini..I know I have done a mistake but don't compare him with me..

Nandini ( furious ): I wasn't comparing Mr. Malhotra..But it was the truth..Philip never made me cry because I never gave a damn to him but you did, you did made me cry when I gave a lot of importance to you..When I found my everything in you, but what did you do..? You just walked away..You always give a chance to our relationship and then you yourself take all my hope back and now you are trying to rule over me..You are beating up those people who tried to ill treat me..Why..? What relation do we have Manik Malhotra..tell me..? Why do you use me every time like a tissue paper..?

Manik grabbed her waist in a second and pinned her on the tree..

Manik ( shouted ): I do agree Miss Nandini Dixit that I have done mistakes..I acted impulsive with you..But never call my feelings fake..I could never use you..

She looked away while he composed himself..

Manik ( calmly ): Nandini, just listen to me..I know, I shouldn't have done like that..I shouldn't have asked you to leave...but..you know me right..I am very impulsive..I couldn't think about anything else but now I wanted to start a new beginning..

Nandini ( softly ): Why..? So that you could break me again..?

Manik ( nodded in No ): So that I could live my life with my happiness..which is you..

She stared at him with softened eyes while he stared at her with all his Love for her..She sighed and leaned onto the tree..

Manik ( pleaded ): Will you give me a chance..?

She stared at him again..

Nandini: You wanted us to have a new beginning right..Then be everything in the beginning..

Manik ( confused ): Mathlab..?

Nandini ( sighed ): When I said I trust you for the first time, I meant it..I said it because you earned my trust..My heart believed that I could trust you..So, now..you need to earn ti again cause you have already lost that trust of mine..

He was hurt to hear that he had lost her trust but he was determined to win her again, he would gain her trust again..

Nandini ( narrowed her eyebrows ): Kyu..? Kar paoge..? Mind it Mr. Malhotra..You earned Nandini Murthy's trust but Nandini Dixit would be a tough nut..I wouldn't let my heart melt easily..

Manik smirked and pulled her closer to him by her waist..

Manik: I want Nandini..let it be Miss Murthy or Dixit..I don't care..Cause the heart I am craving for is one which belongs to Nandini Dixit/Nandini Murthy..

She smirked back..

Nandini: Game on Mr. Malhotra..I would make it difficult for you..

Manik ( smiled ): Even I don't like easy stuffs..

Nandini: Fine..so challenge accepted..?

Manik ( smirked ): All ready..

Nandini: okay..so now, you may leave me..

Manik: Haa tho, you are free to go..

Nandini ( sarcastically ): Mr. Malhotra..If I need to move then you should take your hands off me..

Manik ( innocently ): Acha..but then my hands are tied..what will I do..?

She smiled sarcastically..

Nandini: I know what to do..?

Manik: What..?

She leaned more closer to him while his heartbeat was raising...She snaked her arms around his neck and kept her forefinger on his forehead and gently started caressing his face which made him closed his eyes in anticipation. She smirked and then punched his stomach..

Manik: Ouch..

When he opened his eyes he saw her moving towards the mansion..

Nandini ( smirked ): Told you, it would be hard to win my heart..

She walked inside the Mansion while he ruffled his hair and bit his lips..

Manik ( smiled ): I will get you back Nandu..I will win you again in my life and then nobody will be able to separate us..I would never allow anyone..

Post dinner

Everybody were having a chit chat when Rishab brought his new pet from upstairs..

Rishab ( excited ): guys, meet my new friend..

Everybody's attention turned towards him but the moment Nandini has seen it, her face was turned into a horrified one..

Nandini ( freaked out ): What the hell..Ri..what the heck is that thing doing here..?

Rishab got confused while M5 just stared at that pet and then burst out in laughter..The elders too were giggling..Fab 5 was confused..

Nandini ( glared ): its not funny..

Rishab ( frowned ): Di, what's wrong..? Its my new pet..Dimpy..Its just a rat..!!

Nandini ( scowled): Dimpy or Wimpy..Its a rat Ri..

Manik's head snapped at Nandini when she said that..He started reminiscing the incident which changed his life, which changed his feelings for her, which was the reason for him to battle against his growing feelings for her.

Cabir and Dhruv were confused but they found Manik staring at Nandini with a constant smile playing on his lips..

Dhruv: Buddy, tum has kyu rahe ho..?

Manik ( stared at Dhruv ): Kuch bhi tho nahi..

Cabir: Tho phir tum ithna muskura kyu rahe ho, wo bhi Nandini ko ghoor ke..?

Manik ( smiled ): Tu nahi samaj saktha..

Sid swiftly moved to Rishab and took it from him..Nandini who saw this just stood on the sofa..

Nandini: Sid..don't you dare..?

Sid ( smirked ): Really..? Well, you know I love to complete dares..So, let it be a beautifuuulllll dare....

He kept the rat on the floor and the next moment it started running which looked like a massive heart attack for Nandini..

Nandini: Ahhh...Sid..I am gonna kill you...

She started running around the Mansion and the best part was the rat just followed her..Rishab just remembered that his Di was scared of it. He just palmed his face..

Rishab: Mar gaya bachu..

Sid, Ritesh and Abhi was just laughing while Manik was staring at her with a smile..

Manik ( thought ): She really changed but " this " is an exception..

Nandini: Gadhe..take that thing off or else I am gonna ask your ex girlfriend to come back in your life..

Sid ( annoyed ): You know I ate her, she is all touchy..

Nandini ( still running ): That's why I am gonna call her..Paapu..please save me..Go away you wimpy thingy..

Rishab ( stammered ): Uh Di, its Dimpy..

Nandini ( managed to glare ): If I were a non-vegetarian..I would have chopped your little friend to death..

Rishab grinned sheepishly..

Soha ( concerned ): Bhai, do something..grab him off..Soulie..stop running..you would feel dizzy..

Dev: Haa Nandu..stop running..we will try to catch him..

Dev, Vishal and Abhi tried catching the rat but it was just going behind Nandini, seems like he liked her a lot..

Nandini went and hid behind Ravi

Nandini: Ravi Papa, please get that thing out of this place..

Manik knew she would go out of control anytime, so he just got up and went to kitchen and took a cheese and kept it in the middle of the room. Soon the rat left Nandini and went to the cheese, the next second Rishab took it in his hand and then looked at Manik who was looking at him with a nervous smile.

Rishab ( formally ): Thanks..

Manik could only nod at him..While Nandini sat on the sofa with a thud and sighed in relief..She looked at Manik who was standing and smiling at her. Since, everyone were looking at her, she just avoided to stare at him..

Nandini: Thank you..

She turned to Sid, who was about to move away when she saw his mobile on the tea-poi..She grabbed it and showed it to Sid..

Sid: Hey, don't..haan..don't throw it..

Nandini ( baby face ): Of course I won't..

She just typed something in his mobile and threw it to him..Sid checked his mobile and freaked out..

Sid: What the heck..you really messaged that bimbo..?

Nandini ( smirked ): I told you I would message her..

Soha sat near Nandini and wiped her sweat..

Soha: God, who the hell told you to run like P.T. Usha..

Nandini ( pouted ): you know I am scared of rats..

Arya ( chuckled ): Yeah, THE NANDINI DIXIT who is scared of nothing and no one in this world is scared of a mere rat..

She glared at him..

Dev ( teased ): But it seems like Sid is in trouble..

Soha ( teased ): Serves you right..Now, the bimbo wouldn't even leave him..Al touchy touchy..

Sid glared at her while everybody shared a heart laughter..Nandini was chuckling when her phone beeped..She checked the message..

" My feelings for you grew due to an Indian Rat which eventually led me to gain your trust and now a Paris Rat will lead me to you again.."

She sat there in amusement..She didn't notice that even before too, their relationship started when they were locked in the store room which actually made her understand that he is not that bad and now today, when she challenged him to gain her trust again, the history is just repeating again..

She looked at him while he was smirking at her..She just shook her head in disbelief..
