In Dixit's Palace

Lunch time

Everybody were having lunch with lots of masti..Especially, the younger clan of Dixits who were just annoying each other..

Abhi who was waiting for a chance to irritate Nandini saw her talking with Navya and Soha. He smirked and took a piece of chicken fry and kept it in her plate without her knowledge..While elders were glaring at him, and youngsters were smirking but Fab 5 and Navya sat there in confusion..Wasn't Nandini a vegetarian..? But soon the answer was given through a scream.."ahh"

The elders face palmed after seeing Nandini standing up from her seat with her hands on her heart and nose a bit away from the dining table..While the youngsters were laughing like hell..

Nandini ( shouted ): Bhai...I will kill you..!!

Soon she started running behind Abhi who has started to run the next moment after she shouted..Lunch was a forgotten business for the entire members as they were watching a Tom and Jerry show..They stopped running to catch their breathes..

Abhi ( panting ): Doll...ab..rukho..gimm..me..a..minute..

She nodded but then she swiftly went and pushed him making him fall on the floor, thanks to God that the floor was cuddled with carpets..She ran and took the entire cold ice cream from the fridge and pour it on him before he could stand as he was in a shock with the sudden push..

Nandini ( smirked ): Aww, my poor Bhai..Lagi tho nahi na Bhai..

While Abhi sat there with a grumpy face totally drenched in ice cream and the youngsters were rolling on the floor in laughter..The elders were just giggling on their children's naughty acts..Fab 5 sat there in amusement..Al these kind of acts happened between them years back, but that too in limits..They believed that such things will happen only between friends but here they are seeing such things between a brother and sister too..They never believed in relationships..While Navya was just shocked to see her best friend having such type of fun which has never happened before..

Soon Nandini joined others in lunch while Abhi went to clean himself..Peter changed her plate with her favorites..

Ritesh ( giggled ): Di, why don't you change your taste..? Try something non-veg, at least once in a while..

Nandini ( bad face ): Eu..Non-veg..I hate it..I seriously don't know how do you people eat it..Like..have some mercy on them..they are dead creatures and here you are eating it..

Vishal ( nodded ): I agree bachi..

Viren ( glared ): What I 'agree'..? You both got your mother's taste..How do you eat those leaves everyday..

Nandini ( glared ): Dad..its called vegetables, not leaves..We aren't some cows or goats to chew leaves..

Raj ( chuckled ): Point hai..but phir bhi Love..How do you both manage to eat them everyday..?

Vishal ( genuinely ): Its not a big deal Pops..Vegetables are much healthier than Non-Veg..

Akash ( scratched his head ): Tho isiliye tu ne shadi nahi kiya, You wanted a vegetarian wife..right..?

Vishal ( widened his eyes ): What..kuch bhi Pops..

Ranveer ( confused ): Then, why don't you get married..?

Before anyone could reply, Abhimanyu cut him off who just came after getting cleaned up..

Abhi ( coolly ): Because, he wanted a traditional girl..which isn't possible to get in this era..

Ritesh ( nodded ): Exactly, I mean..I have dated many girls..And none of them were sane..They were just quiet modern, not only physically but mentally too..They are just interested in intimate moments..I don't think Vishal Bhayyu will ever get married in this life..

Vishal ( sarcastically ): Is it necessary to get married..One can live single forever..

Lalith ( sighed ): That's not true Vishal..you will be in need of someone..

Vishal ( smiled ): I have Papa..I have my brothers to become my support, phir bachi hai na mere saath..she would never leave my side..kyu bachi..?

Nandini ( smiled and side hugged him ): Of course Bhayyu...Mere rehthe hue aap kabhi bhi akela mehsoos nahi kar sakthe..

Others smiled at them, even Manik..He knew how much important she is for her family..

Swayam ( smiled ): Acha..tho uski shadi ke baad tum kya karoge..?

The siblings head shot up at at Swayam..

Swayam: What..? Aisa math dekh..wo ladki hai..and one day even she has to get married, if she agrees to it or not..She will have to take care of her husband and his family..wo hamesha tum theenon ke saath nahi reh sakthi na..

The boys looked at him in sadness while Nandini just smiled at her Papa..

Nandini: Kisne kaha aise Swayam Papa..Do you know how come a girl turn into a woman ( everybody looked at her confused ) its not when she finish her teenage and get into age 20, its when she actually become a wife and when she could balance both the families, when she find his family as her own family..When she knew how to be the same daughter of her home even if she is the daughter-in-law of her husband's house..I am not gonna leave my family, even if by chance I need to get married..I am a daughter first Papa, a sister and then only I could become a good wife..Chhavi Virendhar Dixit is my role model then how could I give less time to my family when she never did it..

Viren had tears in his eyes and so her whole family..They knew that she loved her family to no extent but the way she expressed it was something magical..She will really be a good wife..Manik was sitting with a smile but tears in his eyes too..he could never find this side of her's before..what was he doing all those 6 months with her back in the college, when she actually read the whole Manik Malhotra..

Soon they were done with lunch and Malhotras, Dhawans, Vedants ,Vardhans and Navya bade bye to Dixits..

In Malhotra Mansion

Fab 5 were having a tour of the Mansion since they hadn't got time for it till now as they were hell busy with the work for the past 1 week and the weekend was spent in Dixit's Mansion. So they decided to have a tour today, including Navya..

Manik: Chalo, its Dad's room..Lets get in..

He knocked on it but there was no response, so he just opened the door to see it empty. He entered the room with Fab 4 and Navya..

It was a simple bedroom, but with a special elegance. It even had a small study table as Raj is a person who once sit for something then he won't back off from it until he finishes it and so he wouldn't notice his health if he spends more time in work, which is why his study is in his bedroom itself so that he would sleep if he feels like that during his work..

Navya ( smiled ): Raj uncle's room is so beautiful..

Cabir ( grinned ): And fully LOVE too..

Others looked at Cabir in confuse while he looked at them and moved his gaze to the wall above bed which made others too to look at it..

They stood there shocked after seeing it as it had..

They were standing shocked and to add more to it, Navya pointed at the whole room which were filled with photos..

Fab 5 stood there in shock..They could see only Manik's and Nandini's photos in the whole room..Manik would send him formal photos and so only such photos were there but Nandini's all kind of cute and sweet photos were also there..Manik has always thought that his dad never cared for him but seeing his Dad's bedroom with full of his and Nandini's photos made him realize that he means a lot to his dad which he never showed..

Voice: Tum log yaha..?

Their trance was broken with the voice..They turned to see Raj with a surprised look on his face. Why wouldn't he..? Its not natural to see your son who doesn't give much importance to you, in your bedroom..

Manik ( composed himself ): Uh..noth..nothing Dad..Actually..we were just having a tour of this Mansion..We..we couldn't have a proper look at it before..

Raj just nodded at him in understanding..

Cabir ( smiled ): Waise Uncle..ek baath poochu ( He nodded )How much do you love Nandini..?

Raj ( confused ): Ye kaisa sawal hai Cabir..?

Cabir ( roamed his eyes ): Well, this bedroom of yours made me ask this question..

Raj followed his gaze and understood the meaning of it..He smiled..

Raj ( smiled ): Nobody could understand how much I love her Cabir..Her mom is like my sister..Chhavi calls me Bhai cause she says I am her brother more than her friend..If Viren and Chhavi are like my life then 'Love' is my heartbeat..She is actually our princess..You know when was the time I have seen Viren the most happy ( they nodded in No ) it was when Chhavi said YES to his proposal..After that, he was the happiest man on this earth but the glow his face had when he saw our little princess, My Love, His doll...by god..nobody would have smiled like how he has smiled on that day..His cheeks were burning because of smiling..He said only 1 thing to me.." Raj, look at her..my baby..our princess..she is going to make me proud "..He knew it that she is going to be the reason for his smile and so we..I always wished for a daughter but ( his face went sad )..before that wish could come true, I got to know that the lady who gave me a son wasn't even a lady who deserve to be called a mother..so I lost my hope..but then my sister was pregnant..and so when she gave birth to a baby girl( he smiled widely )..it made me happy..Viren asked me to name her..And so I named her Nandini..Because it means ' a woman who brings joy ' and it did bring happiness to all our lives..When I needed someone beside me..she stood with me..She cared for me like no one..She isn't my sister's daughter, neither my brother's or best friend's..But she is my daughter..No matter what..the place she has in my heart will always be special..

He had a peaceful smile on his face when he was talking about her..Manik was having tears in his eyes seeing his Dad this happy..he has never seen her this happy before, he now know that Raj Malhotra's existence is just because of his love Nandini Dixit..

Raj ( excited ): Look at those photos..This is my Love..how beautiful she looks..

Raj: And see..its us..

Fab 5 could only gape at them..Indeed they looked like a real father-daughter..That was the moment when Manik realized that she is not just his but also his father's reason to smile..
