Manik Suddenly heard someone's footsteps from behind and a small smile came on his lips.

Manik(whisper):- I know you will come.

Manik composed himself and hide his smile. He turned his face towards the door. Abhi was standing there. Manik's eyes showed disappointment.

Abhi:- Disappointed?

Manik gave him a small smile.

Manik:- Why would I? I knew you will be here.

Abhi folded his arms around his chest.

Abhi:- Oh really?

Manik:- Of course.

Abhi:- You became very good at hiding your feelings. Don't try to hide your feelings at last not from me.

Manik:- No buddy, you are taking in a wrong way. I was...

Abhi:- You were expecting Nandini here. Don't you?

Words were stucked in his throat. Manik didn't know how to denied it.

Abhi:- So I was right. Your expression says everything.

Manik kept quiet. Manik sat on high bench and looked outside of the window. Abhi came and sat beside him.

Abhi:- You know it still not too late. You can still get the thing which meant to be yours.

Manik:- And how can you say that it's mine?

Abhi:- And how can you say it's not yours? Ask yourself Manik you will get the answer.

Manik smiled.

Manik:- Forget about me. Are you OK?

Abhi:- What will happened to me? I am perfectly fine.

Abhi was showing himself with a perfect smile. Manik looked at him keenly.

Manik:- You also start lying to me.

Abhi took a deep breath.

Abhi:- I know I can't change the past but I can change the future and I want to change my future. I want to let go.

Manik:- Can you forgive Sid?

After Eagle gang left the canteen. Everyone was gossiping about them. Nandini went back to her sit. Sidharth came near Nandini.

Sid:- Nandini I am really sorry.

Mukti:- What was all of that Sid?

Sidharth gave Mukti a smile.

Sid:- Something that between them and me.

Navya:- Then you shouldn't drag Nandini there.

Sidharth was taken aback from Navya's question.

Sid:- I wasn't dragging Nandini. I just wanted to show them I can make friends also.

Navya:- Really Sid?

Sid:- Of course. I am extremely sorry for making you guys uncomfortable. As my apology I will buy you all ice-cream. Wait I will get it know.

Sid left from there.

Mukti:- What is all this Alia?

Alia:- I don't know.

Navya:- Does they always fight like this?

Alia:- Don't even ask. It's nothing compared to that.

Nandini:- Any idea?

Alia:- No.

Navya:- Nandini I think you should keep your distance from him.

Mukti:- I also think like that.

Nandini was thinking something.

Alia:- Guys don't be serious. He is my brother. I know him from childhood. He is not that bad. He may be flirty and over friendly but he is a good person.

Mukti:- He is your brother we know. That's why we are hanging out with him.

Navya:- But Alia sorry to say I can't trust him. At last not with Nandini. The way he was behaving around Nandini is not good.

Alia was totally agreed with Navya. She was also having some weird feelings.

Nandini:- Guys I can handle myself. You guys don't need worry.

Nandini gave him beautiful smile. Suddenly Navya's phone started ringing. Seeing the name flashing on her screen lift up her mood.

Mukti:- Looking like someone mood changed.

Navya:- I will be right back.

Sidharth came with ice-cream and saw Navya leaving. Sidharth put the ice-cream down on the table.

Sid:- Where she is going?

Mukti:- She have some work.

Sid:- Then I will have her ice-cream.

Sidharth was going to take the ice cream but Alia slapped his hand away.

Sid:- Ouch!!

Sidharth was rubbing his hand.

Alia:- Who said you can have it. I will have it.

Sid:- Look at you will get fat.

Alia:- You stay out of it.

Sid:- OK.

Cabir was sitting in the garden and looking around. Suddenly someone closed his eyes from behind. Cabir smiled.

Cabir:- Finally you are here.

Navya removed her hand from his eyes and sat beside him. Cabir took her and entwined her fingers with him. Navya kept her head on his shoulder.

Cabir:- Ahh! It's been ages be with you like this.

Navya:- Yeah. I missed our time together.

Navya looked at him.

Navya:- How is your trip? Wasn't you suppose to be here after one more month?

Cabir:- Yeah but something urgent came up. So, we are back.

Navya looked worried.

Navya:- Is Everything fine?

Cabir gave her a smile.

Cabir:- Yes everything is fine. By the way what is Sid doing with you all?

Navya:- As Alia is his cousin and he is new in the city. So that's why he is hanging around with us.

Cabir:- You should be careful around with him. He is a bad news.

Navya got excited.

Navya:- You also feel like that? Me too. I don't like him.

Cabir became little serious.

Cabir:- Did he done some?

Navya:- No not yet. He is more interest in Nandini. He is always around her like bee. I think he is trying his luck on Nandini.

Cabir was in deep throught.

Cabir:- You should warn Nandini.

Navya:- I did. Just before meet you I warned her about him. We are just bearing with him because of Alia. Otherwise I would have kicked his ass the day he flirt with Nandini.

Cabir:- That's like my tigress.

Navya laughed.

Navya:- What about the morning incident in the canteen?

Cabir:- Navya it's something between the Eagle and Sid. I can't say anything more than this.

Navya:- Its OK I am not forcing you. But will everything fine?

Cabir kissed Navya's head.

Cabir:- Don't worry everything will be fine. We know how to handle him.

Cabir and Navya spend some quality time together. Listening that Abhi looked at Manik. Manik was waiting for his answer.

Abhi:- What he did can't be forgiven. But I want to forgive him and live a free life. This thing is feels like a burden to me.

Manik:- Give it a time buddy. It's not something you can heal so easily.

Abhi smiled.

Abhi:- But see even if I can forgive him. He can't forgive us. He is still stuck there. We need to save him Manik. Otherwise he will also fall in dark.

Manik:- You know Abhi we want to help him. But he don't trust us. He still blam us for the crime which we didn't.

Abhi looked up.

Abhi:- I don't know Manik whose fault it was. May be it was time's fault. But God giving us on more chance to make it right. So I think we should try it.

Manik:- But Abhi he is stubborn. He will never take any help from anyone especially us.

Abhi:- But we must save him. Otherwise he may destroy Nandini's life this time.

Manik fisted his hand tightly. Abhi smiled.

Abhi:- He chose the correct target Manik.

Manik looked Abhi. Abhi poked Manik's heart with his finger.

Abhi:- This heart is betraying you Manik. Hold her before she disappear from your life. Don't let your past ruined your beautiful future. Past will always hunt you. But you have to be brave enough to face it.

Abhi kept his hand on Manik's shoulder.

Abhi:- Think about it. Think before it's too late.

Manik was looking down. Abhi get up from his sit. He went towards door and opened it. Others were standing right there.

Dhruv:- Done?

Abhi looked behind him and nodded his head.

Abhi:- Hope this will work.

Others nodded their head.

Abbi(loudly) :- Come on Manik. It's time for class.

Manik looked at them and get down from the bench. Then they all went to class. That day Sid didn't had any class with Nandini. So they couldn't able to meet each other after canteen. Manik and Sid also didn't came face to face after that. The Eagle came out of their class.

Arya:- Ahh! My muscles are paining.

Dhruv:- Of course they will. Because you don't use them.

Arya:- Ha ha ha very funny.

Arya said in a mocking voice.

Abbi:- Stop fighting guys. I need to go home. See you tomorrow.

Arya:- Abhi please drop me at home. I don't wanna drive.

Abhi:- Let's go.

Abhi and Arya left from there.

Cabir:- Manik please drop also. I am lazy to drive today.

Manik:- OK let's go. Dhruv how did you came?

Dhruv:- I came with my bike.

Manik:- OK then let's get home. I am feeling well also.

They started walking towards the parking. They were talking.

Cabir:- Isn't it Nandini?

Manik looked at the direction.

Dhruv:- Yeah it's Nandini.

Cabir:- Let's talk to her.

Cabir was going to step forward. But saw someone was come running towards her. Nandini opened her car door was about to sit inside but Sidharth came running to her.

Sid:- Wait Nandini.

Sidharth was out of breath. Manik, Cabir and Dhruv were nearby only. They could clearly hear them.

Cabir(Whisper):- What the hell is he doing here?

Manik eyes were dark.

Nandini:- Are you OK?

Sidharth:- Yes I was looking for you.

Nandini:- I don't have any class today. So I am going home.

Sid:- I need to ask you something. will you go on a date with me?

Nandini:- What?

Cabir was about to lost his blance.
