I ran upto her but she already jumped.

I can't let her go.

Somehow I managed to hold her hand, So she didn't fall but her head got hit by something and she fainted.

I pulled her up and tried to wake her up.

"Nandini!! Nandini wake up. Please nandini" I cried but she didn't wake up.

I panicked seeing her in this state and called the ambulance.

I was sitting here, Unable to speak a word as again and again I saw the scene before my eyes of nandini jumping from the terrace.
If I was there before a few seconds, i could save her.

I am a failure.

I couldn't save her.

It was around 8 o'clock in The city of dreams, Mumbai.
From a lavish house, some noises could be heard. Noises of crying. A girl weeped sitting in a room, full of darkness.

"Why?Why god? why only me? Why do you always do this to me? I love my parents so much,but they hate me! They hate me. Why?"

She said sitting in front of God and crying.

" Nandini! Nandini! Come out And have dinner. "

Her Mom called out.

Yes, the girl is none other than Nandini Murthy, a college student, who has faced a lot in her life.

Huh! Some times..they really amaze me. They don't care for me, but act as If they do. Why? I know their truth..then why?

"Coming Mom"

I don't even want to call her that.

I stepped out of my bed to go,then realised something.

" Oops!I forgot to do that."

I said and went back to the room .

I Secretly opened a drawer, took out a photo frame, and kissed it, then whispered,

"I miss you & I love you "

By now I was again in tears. I kept back the photo frame and ran out of the room.

A guy was looking at a picture and crying silently, missing her but couldn't do anything to bring her back.

When a girl came, and said,

" You really love her, right? "

" More than anyone! "

He said still looking at the picture.

"Then, Why don't you tell her?"

She said.

"No. I can't, because she hates me."

He said with disappointement.

" How do you know? Just like your feelings have changed,hers might have too! "

She said.

"Really? "

He asked, thinking a little hope was still there.

" Yes."

The girl assured him.

" Maybe! If destiny wants, we will meet again. Till then, I will wait. Wait for destiny to play it's cards!! "

He said moving towards the window.

The girl left and said to herself,

"Nandini! When will you get to know about his feelings? You both love each other but are scared to confess.
I have to talk to priyal.
Yes pooja, you can do it. You all also help me..okay?! "
