Pooja's House

*Nandini's Pov*

Thinking about tonight...here I am, sipping coffee standing in the balcony.

All the memories flashing in front of my eyes, Like a movie.

Is this a dream, or it is for real?!

" It's for real.."

I turned to see Pooja standing there.

I looked at her in astonishment.

"How do you know I..-"

She interrupted me saying

"I know you more than you know yourself..!!"

I looked at her with surprise and smiled..

"Hmm...!!"

She hummed...reassuring me once again.

"You know Nandini...You are weird."

She said making me look at her like

"What?! Don't look at me like that!! What I mean to say is...you love Manik...so much that you kiss his photo everyday and then sleep, but still, you do not want to talk to him, If that is not weird..what is it my friend? You are thinking about what happened today...but you do not want more such moments! Weird, is the only word!!"

For the first time in life, my dear pooja said something serious...and surprisingly true

She sounded a bit sad!!

"You know pooja...I have to say this, yes you are right!! It is weird. But that is what love is all about!!"

She looked at me with a confused face.

"See...when you love someone na..you do not want to lose him or her. Even if it is just one moment, you will try to steal it. Anyhow! I don't want to lose Manik. Whatever it is right now, it's awkward but sweet. I m scared pooja...what if I tell him and he starts hating me again...!! I don't want that, Not even in my worst nightmare.
He is the positivity in my negative life!! He is the light in darkness of my life!"

She smiled a little hearing my explanation on love!

"I don't know what to say Nandini!! So I better keep my mouth shut!"

She said and we both shared a laugh, Laugh filled with sadness.

"And, by the way, it's you who is telling me share with manik what I feel about him? Come on, I mean the girl who loves somebody since school and shows as if she doesn't is telling me to share my feelings"

Her facial expressions turned into confusion and shock.

I said clearing her doubts,

"Its not only you , who knows me better than myself. The same thing applies to you to ma'am!!"

As expected her lines of confusion from the forehead vanished and she understood everything!!

But I am sure, you guys did not understand!!

Well, let the secrets unfold slowly!! What's the hurry?

Have patience.

After talking a bit more, I and pooja left to sleep.

As per the ritual I kissed Manik's photo frame and murmured Goodnight

*Manik's POV*

Goodnight.

I woke up suddenly, I was just lying down thinking about tonight...when i felt her near me. As if, it was her, who said good night.

I just smiled to myself, thinking how I used to say

You have become stupid in love

To my friends...and they used to reply

When you will fall in love, That is the time you will understand.

And i have no shame in admitting, That yes, I have become that stupid person in love!!

And then, suddenly, out of nowhere, Aryaman's face came in my mind!!

The way he was looking at Nandini, when she was singing, made my blood boil...!!

Was Nandini singing for him??

The picture of them hugging came before my eyes!!

And for a moment, I thought I have lost her

But then I remembered Nandini's words,

"You are one of my best friends. You are always there for me...whenever I need u."

And frankly speaking, i did not feel that Nandini likes him too...

Or maybe, She does?

I have to find it out, Anyhow!

But Aryaman likes her, that's for sure!!

I slept with a lot of questions in my mind, not before looking at Nandini's picture I clicked secretly today!!
