*Nandini's POV*

And then, I saw those three people. The three monkeys. And my heartbeat stopped.

I moved towards Urjan who noticed me when I forwarded my hand in front of him.

He looked a bit uncomfortable and a little ashamed seeing me...!! I understood his feelings and said,

"Urjan. I know tum kya soch rahe ho. But lets forget the past and begin a new journey. Let's be FRIENDS"

(Urjan. I know what you must be thinking, but, let's forget the past and begin a new journey. Let's be Friends?)

After saying this, I forwarded my hand in front of him, once again. And he happily joined his hand with me.

I felt so good.

Next was Cabir.I know he too must be thinking the same. I explained him the same thing and he too was happy after the conversation.

Next was him. My heartbeat was audible to me, as it was too fast. I almost reached him when someone pulled my hand and hugged me before I could even see his/her face. The person said

" Nandu. I missed you soooooooooo much! Gosh...why didn't u tell me u are in newyork?"

Whattt!!? Is he......??

" A..aryaman?"

The person broke the hug and said,

" So..u recognised me. "

Introducing Karan Jotwani

[He is a pervert, who loves to flirt with any girl around him. He doesn't care about anyone's feelings. Rich spoilt brat, loves Nandini since childhood and hates Manik because he thinks she gives him more attention]

Happily, I said,

" Ofcourse idiot. Won't I remember u? You are one of my best friends. You are always there for me...whenever I need u. "

And then Faking anger he said,

" Ya right! But u...u forgot to inform me that u r coming to Newyork. Right? "

I looked at him with a puppy face. And he as usual, melted seeing that face.

I don't know why, I can feel something burning nearby. I mean I feel someone's gaze on me.. A very intense one. Before I could see, who is it.. Pooja came and dragged me on the stage.

She started saying,

" Girls and guys..! May I have ur attention here. So as u know, why we all have gathered here...well just to remind u..it's because my best friend Nandini Murthy is here. And u all, her ex-classmates are invited to relive the memories of all of us together.
As we have greeted each other already, now it's time for a little challenge for miss Nandini. "

I looked at her, asking her with my eyes. But she payed no heed to it and continued,

" Nandini, there is no point of trying to murder me with ur eyes. Because, u will never succeed. So..ur challenge is...--"

Before pooja could say more, priyal interrupted,

" Aye pooja, that's my job...!!"

Biting her lips pooja said,

" Oops!! Sorry priyal. I had forgotten. It's the most interesting part..u know."

Laughing a bit priyal continued,

" Ur fault, u only wanted to speak that long long speech of yours. Anyways,So guys are u excited to know Nandini's challenge? I think many of u must have guessed it already..but still...how many of u are excited? I want to see ur hands in the air. "

Almost everyone's hands were in the air. And my heart in my hand. Ayiappa, what challenge will they give me?

" Ahem ahem! Okay..thanks for ur support people. Nandini, I will cut it short. You have to sing a song for someone present in this Hall..right now."

Boom! And their target was the same as I thought. I know them pretty well u see. Ugh, me and my habit of self-praising.

Now what?

I haveeee to complete this challenge. I don't have ANY option..

What will I sing?

For whom?

I know what they want. They want me to sing for him.

And fortunately for them and unfortunately for me...I am going to do the same.

Pooja and priyal broke the chain of my thoughts saying,

" Nandini! Nandini! Where are u lost? "

Coming out of my thoughts I just said

"Huh?"

Pooja said with a smirk on her face,

" Miss Nandini, u don't have to sing a song in ur dreams...u have to do it in front of us. Here!! "

Before starting, I took a look around the Hall. And my eyes saw Aryaman standing there telling me 'all the best' and I replied 'thankyou' to him.
Behind him was he Finally, our eyes met. I felt something, something very powerful in my heart. I felt he wished me good luck with his eyes...and I too said thanks with mine.
I felt confident now.

Finally...after gathering my courage, I moved towards the mike.

The lights were dim now. I could see only one face in front of my eyes, the face I would love to see all of my life.

The music started and I began to sing.
