Manik smiled at his achievement. he took the mike in his hand & before he could say something, from the crowd someone threw a glass bottle towards him. Raj saw that & shouted,

Raj:- (shouted loudly) Manu.....

But seems like Manik has became a statue. He was hell shocked & wasn't moving at all. Luckily before that glass bottle could hit Manik, Raj reached there & pushed him. But unfortunately the glass bottle broke into pieces and a piece of glass hit Manik's forehead. Manik held his forehead & shouted, 

Manik:- (shouted in pain) Ahhh...

Raj immediately took his handkerchief & pressed that on Manik's wound to stop bleeding. he hugged Manik tightly & said,

Raj:- it's okey baccha. it's just a mere glass price, don't worry you will be alright. 

Manik was totally lost in that terrible situation that he didn't realise when he closed his eyes in fear & hugged his Dad who was consoling him just like a father do.
Manik came back to reality when he heard Nandini shouting,

Nandini:- (shouted loudly) Luv, Kush where are you going? come back.....

But it was too late Luv & Kush was already away from their sight running behind 3 boys. yes among those 3 bits one boy has threw that glass bottle towards Manik. but their bad luck that Luv & Kush saw them.
Manik immediately understood the situation & he also ran behind Luv & Kush.

After running for sometimes Luv & Kush was able to catch those boys and began to beat them back and blue. Luv & Kush was so into their fight that they didn't realise when a boy picked Luv's guitar which fall from his shoulder while fighting & about to hit Luv with that. but before he could hit him a hand grabbed the guitar.
Yes it was none other then our Dady Malhotra. but when Manik held that guitar it's strings broke & hurt his hand which started bleeding immediately.   

Luv+Kush:- (Shouted) Rockstar.....

that's it both Malhotra kid gone mad in anger & began to beat those boys mercilessly.

Luv:- (shouted) you bloody asshole. how dare you hurt him.

Kush:- (shouted) i will kill you moron.

here Manik was totally shocked seeing his own kids. for the first time he was seeing the monster sides of them. how cruelly they were beating them as if they will kill them. that's when Manik realised if he don't stop them, they will surely kill them. he immediately ran to them & tried to stop them,

Manik:- Champs leave them.  

Kush:- (shouted) no way. they tried to harm you.

Luv:- (shouted) i will kill these  jerks.

Manik tried his best to stop them, but when they didn't stop he shouted,

Manik:- (shouted loudly) Luv, Kush leave them right now.

hearing Manik's shout they became scared kitten & left those boys and those boys ran away immediately to save their life.
Manik held Luv's wrist in his right hand & Kush's wrist in his left hand and said,

Manik:- (calmly) your performance is about to start, let's go.

when Manik reached the back side of the stage Nandini came to them running, held Manik's bleeding hand & said,

Nandini:- (hell worried) ya kasa huya?

before Manik could say something a spot boy came there & said,

Spot boy:- Luv, Kush you are next. get ready fast.

Kush:- (hell scared) oh shit Buddy your guitar strings are broken. how we will able to perform now?

Luv:- (helplessly) i don't know yaar.

hearing this Manik went to his green room, took his guitar & came back. he gave his guitar to Luv & said,

Manik:- here, take this guitar & go.

Luv:- (hell shocked) but it's your guitar right?

Kush:- (hell shocked too) and you never let anyone touch it.

Manik:- (smiled) yes this guitar is very special to me, but i am not giving it to any stranger. i know you will surely take care of it. 

Manik sat on his keens, kissed their forehead one by one & said,

Manik:- All the best. perform from your heart & make me proud.
 
Luv+Kush:- (smiled) thanks Rockstar......

Manik:- it's okey. now go, you are getting late.

Luv & Kush immediately left there & Nandini began to fast aid Manik's wound when she said,

Nandini:- (worried) Manik who did this?

Manik:- (calmly) i don't know.

Nandini:- (suspiciously) are you hiding something from me?

Manik:- Nandini do you really think that i can hind something from you?

Nandini:- okey then, let's go outside. your surprise is waiting for you.

Manik:- (excitedly) really? let's go then.

After sometimes

Host:- (shouted) so ladies & gentlemen let's call our 5th band "Luksh" who is representing India by their song. so put your hands together & welcome them.

hearing the announcement Manik looked at Nandini who blinked her eyes & smiled.
people started clapping & within no time "Luksh" came on the stage and our little Malhotras  gave their signature smirk to the audience & Kush said,

Kush:- good evening London. today we are representing our country by our song. but that doesn't mean we disrespect other countries. this song is for all the patriots who truly loves their country. so shall we begin?

Crowd:- yes.

Manik was amazed hearing such words from a 8 years old kid. happy tears were flowing from his eyes. yes his kids truly made him proud today. what else a father need more than this?

everybody started playing their instruments, Kush closed his eyes & started singing just like way Manik sings and other kids supported him by giving their voice too.
