It was the day of kids competition in "World music championship" where Fab5 was a guest performer.

In Fab5's Greenroom  

Everyone was busy in tuning their musical instruments when Manik said,

Manik:- so guys all set right?

Aliya:- yap.

Manik:- okey then i am going outside. Mukti please make sure that nobody mess with my guitar.

With that Manik left the & Cabir said,

Cabir:- yaar what is special in this guitar? Bachpan sa dakh raha hu he is way too possessive about it.

Dhruv:- yes. Maybe this guitar was gifted by someone special.

Mukti:- but he never told us who gifted it.

Aliya:- guys it's his personal matter so let's not interfere in it.

Dhruv:- yes you are right.

Aliya:- (blushed) I am always right baby.

Cabir:- (making a bad face) lo inka romance phirsa chalu ho gaya.

Dhruv:- shut up Cabir.

In Luksh's Greenroom

Aaha:- (hell angry) Abir for the last time I am saying you stop eating chocolates & concentrate on jamming.

Abir:- yaar drums bajana ka liya na bohat energy chahiya hota ha. So i am storing energy.

Diya:- Ashu leave it is bhukkar ko na seraf khana ka bahana chahiya or kuch nahi.

Arti:- (to Abir) oya bhukkar jitna khana ha na kha la. Lakin agar performance ka time bola na that you are hungry ek khich ka lagaongi BPL.

Asha:- (confused) guys what's BPL?

Diya:- (giggled) it's our Arti Murty special Bum pa lath.

With that the tree girls started laughing while Abir made a bad face & said,

Abir:- ara yaar tum sab Dettol sa hath dhoka kew mera picha para ho? Here our two important band members are missing did you realized that?

Arti:- ha yaar. Ashu Where is Bhai?

Asha:- (with attitude) guys they never need to jam before performance. They just hoop on the stage & set it on fire. So it's you who need to practice & please do concentrate.

On the other hand

Luv & Kush was passing by the corridor while talking about something when Manik saw them & said,

Manik:- hey what are you doing here? You should practice for your performance right?

Luv:- (with attitude) we never need to practice to perform. We are simply the best.

Manik:- (with same attitude) oh really?

Kush:- (with attitude) yes of course.

Manik:- will see you at stage then.

Luv+Kush:- (together) you are most welcome. 

After sometimes

Everyone was present there. The host was introducing each & every guest. At a moment the host said,

The host:- ladies & gentleman we have two Indian guest here. So let me welcome ACP Raj Malhotra from CID & Mr. Ashok Singhania the owner of Q label Music Company.

Hearing this announcement Manik looked at stage with a jerk & was hell shocked seeing his own father there. Nandini was standing just beside him so he turned towards her & said,

Manik:- (hell angry) Nandini is this the surprise you was talking about?

Nandini:- (confused) Manik what are you talking about? Your surprise isn't here yet.

Manik:- (confused too) then what is he doing here?

Nandini:- Manik tum kiya bol raha ho mujha kuch samajhma nahi araha ha.

Manik pointed towards Raj who was standing beside Ashok Singhania & said,

Manik:- do you know him?

Nandini:- yes he is Raj uncle, Ashok uncle's best friend. Why? what happen?

Manik:- (angrily) he is my father.

Nandini:- (hell shocked) what? But Manik as far as I know him, he is a nice person.

Manik:- (flaming in anger) yes he is a nice person for everyone but me. Where is our kids?

Nandini:- must be practicing.

Manik:- I need to see them.

with that Manik came to Luksh's greenroom & saw all the kids practicing. seeing him Diya ran to him said,

Diya:- (excited) Chachu......

Manik immediately bend down, took her in his arms & said,

Manik:- so how is my Doll doing?
Diya:- (smiled) i am doing good Chachu.

Manik:- excited for the performance?

Diya:- of course. ap dakhna today we will win the competition for sure.

Manik:- you will win or loose i don't care. always remember music is something which comes from our heart. don't perform to win a damn competition but perform for yourself & perform from your heart only understand?

Diya:- yes.

Arti:- (excited) Mamu look my new guitar. it's cool na?

Manik put Diya down, walked to Arti & said,

Manik:- Bird how many times i told you to hold the guitar little up for a better grip.

with that Manik held her guitar, corrected it's possession & said,

Manik:- now the possession is perfect. by the way this guitar is really cool ha.

Arti:- (smiled) Mom gifted me this yesterday.

Manik:- that's good. play it with heart & make your Mom proud.

Arti:- i will.

Manik:- (to Abir) And you Mr. junior Dhawan, will you stop eating & focus on your drums? if my girls loose because of you & cry then i won't leave you understand?

Abir saluted him & said,

Abir:- (dramatically) aye aye captain.

all the while Luv & Kush was watching the drama while sitting at a distance & they both rolled their eyes at Manik's concern for Diya, Arti & Abir.

Asha:- (angrily) Mr Malhotra i think you are forgetting i am the band manager here not you.

Manik:- am i interfering in your business?

Asha:- of course.

Manik:- i am sorry then. i didn't mean to.....

before Manik could complete his sentence Mr. Ashok Singhania came there. seeing him Asha shouted excitedly,

Asha:- Dadu....

with that she ran to him & he immediately picked her in his arms. Asha kissed his cheeks & said,

Asha:- (excited) when did you came? Mom didn't tell me.

Ashok:- i wanted to surprise you so i said her not to tell you.

Luv:- you surprised us that's doesn't mean we are not mad at you Mr Singhania.

Kush:- yes. we are still mad at you for not taking us India for winter vocation.

Ashok:- i am sorry kids. i was busy. but next year i promise i will take to India & will do lot's of masti with you all.

Luv:- okey we will forgive you only if you stick with your promises.

with that Luv & Kush hugged him & said,

Luv+Kush:- we missed you Nanu.
Aahok:- i missed you too kids.

with that all the kids became  busy talking with Mr Ashok Singhania & demanding their gifts. 

on the other hand Manik was hell shocked seeing his kids demanding side. as far as he knew his kids they were never demanding but today he was seeing them demanding to a person who wasn't their blood related relative. wasn't it the right of their own grandparents? then Manik thought to whom he was expecting his kids to demand things when he himself never demanded anything from them.

Manik thought was disturbed when Raj entered the room & said,

Raj:- and didn't you miss me?
