At Midnight

In a dark room a little boy was laying on the floor. his hands & legs were tied with rope. he was scared to the hell silvering in fear.

After sometime a Man came in the room with a hunter & began to hit that boy.

boy:- (shouting in pain) Ahhhhhh Dad, dad please save me Dad. bohat dard ho raha ha Dad, please mujha yaha sa la jao Dad, please...........

Man:- (with evil laugh) shout as much as you want but get it straight into your little mind that nobody will come to save you dear.

Boy:- (crying) no my Dad loves me a lot & he will surely come to save me.

Man:- only in your dreams boy....

saying so that Man began to bit that little boy again.

Boy:- (shouted loudly) Dad........

Manik woke up with a jerk from the horrible nightmare of his life. yes it was his past which hunt still hunt him as nightmares. his hole body was covered with sweat. he was silvering badly with uncountable tears running down from his eyes.

After sometime

Manik was laying on the floor of the terrace, watching the shining stars. when his is messed up those stars always give him peace. when nobody was there those star used to shine for him.

Manik was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't noticed when Luv & Kush came there & laid down either side of him.

Kush:- missing your Dad right?

Manik looked at his left side & saw Kush was already looking at him for an answer.

Manik:- (confused) how would you know?

Luv:- (smirked) we can read minds.

Manik gave a shocked expression to which Luv & Kush laughed out loud. yes they can't read his mind but they can understand him easily.

Luv:- offo i was kidding dude....

Manik:- (whispered) thank god....

Kush:- by the way why are you looking at the stars? is your Dad.....

Manik:- no no he is alive.

Kush:- then call him na.

Manik:- and why should i call him?

Luv:- because your are missing him simple.

Manik:- (frustrated) no it's not simple. he left me when i was only 5 years old. he never cared for me when i needed him the most.

Kush:- didn't he said sorry???

Manik:- he did but a mere sorry can't give me my childhood back na.

Kush:- but it can give you a good future right?

Manik:- (angrily) but it can't remove the memories of my 23 years. he never cared for my sufferings, my feelings & most importantly me.

Luv:- (hell angry) you know what Rockstar your lucky to have a father unlike us. at lest he wants to come back for you. just don't destroy your future because of a bad past.

with that Luv stood up to go when Manik held his hand & said,

Manik:- tell me one thing if your father come back now what will you do?

Luv:- it's not gonna happen.

Manik:- if it happens?

Kush:- we will tie him with our Mamma & won't let him go. never ever......

Manik:- are you sure? won't you regard later?

Luv:- no, never.......

Manik:- okey then. i wanted to tell you from the very fast day but i was afraid how you will take my words but i think it's time to tell you the truth. Champ i am your......................

before Manik could complete his sentence they heard a loud scream & ran downstairs. they reached Arti's room & saw her crying.
Manik immediately took her in his arms & said,

Manik:- kiya huya baccha why are you crying?

Arti:- (still crying) Mamu see my teeth fall down.

Arti showed a little teeth in her palm & began to crying more loudly where everybody was hell confused at Arti's this unusual behavior.

Manik:- offo Bird is umar ka chota baccho ka dat girta ha & it's natural. don't worry you will get a new teeth very soon. now please stop crying.

Manik wiped her tears which was falling like rain.

Abhi:- oh god she is such a dramaqueen just like her Mom.

Mukti:- (angrily) o hello how dare you to call me a dramaqueen? did i cried when i lost my first teeth?

Abhi:- how would i know that? i wasn't there na. but Arti took her maximum gens from you so i thought........

Mukti:- (hell angry) so you thought i was just her during my childhood right? you know what i think she took this gen from you because you have such habits to make a simple thing complicated.

Abhi:- what? i make things complicated. 

Nandini:- enough guys. baccho ki tarha larna bandh karo or Arti ko chup karao. kab sa ro rahi ha bachari.

hearing Nandini they stopped fighting. Nandini went to Arti who was still sobbing in Manik's arms & said,

Nandini:- Arti baby please stop crying. look at me.

Arti looked at Nandini & she again said,

Nandini:- do you know who i am?

Arti:- no. who are you?

Nandini:- i am your Bua.

Arti:- (excited) you mean you are my Nandu Bua?

Nandini:- (smiled) yes.

with that Arti jumped on Nandini who held her safely in her arms. Arti kissed her cheek & said,

Arti:- i missed you so much Bua. apko pata ha Dada or Dadi humasha apka barama bat karta ha. ap itna din kaha tha Bua? humara pas kew nahi aya?

Nandini looked at Abhi then Manik & said,

Nandini:- bho mujha pata nahi tha na ki mari ek cute si vanji, agar pata hota to kab ka ajati.

Nandini pulled Arti's cheek & she gave her a sweet smile. 2 pair of eyes were watching this drama & flaming in anger. they are none other then our evil twins who were not liking Arti being in Nandini's arms.

Kush:- (with a puppy face) Mamma.........

Nandini:- (happily) Luv, Kush come see your Abhi Mamu has come from India.

Abhi kneed down on the floor spearing his arms. Luv, Kush ran to him & hugged him tightly. seeing this Manik's heart was bleeding. his kids were accepting everyone but not him as their father. it's not their fault but the situation which was stopping him. when Manik felt that his eyes are getting moist, he left the room silently.

Kush:- (breaking the hug) we missed you Mamu.

Abhi:- (smiled) i missed you too kids.

Abhi cupped their face & kissed their forehead with so much love.

Luv:- now you won't leave us right?

Abhi:- (smiled) never.

with that Luv & Kush again hugged Abhi & said

Luv+Kush:- we love you so much Mamu.

Abhi:- i love you too baccha.

On.the other hand

Manik was walking though the corridor. he was lost in his thoughts when someone pressed his mouth & pulled him in a dark room........
