At midnight

Manik was laying on the grass in the garden area of the hospital staring at sky when someone came there & directly laid beside him keeping her head on his chest and warping her hands around his waist.
Manik knew this touch very well, he also warped his hand around her & said,

Manik:- (still looking at the sky) baccha so gaya?

Nandini:- humm.

both were silently staring at the twinkling stars. Nandini knew something was badly bothering Manik.

Nandini:- Manik what are you thinking?

Manik:- i am thinking about our kids Nandini. don't you think they are little mature then their age? they should be carefree.

Nandini:- yes i know. i think your absence made them like that par ab tum agaya ho na to sab thik ho jayaga.

Manik:- i don't know Nandini. i was only 5 years old when Dad left us. i never knew how it feels to have a father. i am scared if they don't accept me?

Nandini:- asa kuch nahi hoga. i know it will be difficult for them to understand the hole thing but at the end they will accept you. Manik they are your kids, trust them.

Manik:- humm. assa tell me about them, their likes dislikes hobbies?

Nandini:- you don't need to ask me about them Manik. ask yourself, because they are exact copy of yours.

Manik:- (smiled) you should be happy for that.

Nandini:- why?

Manik:- don't you like me?

Nandini:- yes i do but that's doesn't mean that my kids won't bear my gens.

Manik:- (smirked) someone seems to be jealous.

Nandini:- (with fake anger) if i hate something in you that is your smirk. its so annoying.

hearing Nandini, Manik laughed out loudly. Nandini looked at Manik & admired his smile.

Nandini:- i missed your smile.

Manik immediately stooped laughing & looked at Nandini with lots of love.

Manik:- and i missed you.

with that he moved close to her, took her lips in his & started kissing her. Nandini also replied him with equal flavor.
after something they broke the kiss lacking of oxygen & Nandini said,

Nandini:- I love you.

Manik:- i love you infinite.

At morning 

Manik was sitting beside Kush & caressing his hair slowly. all kids were in deep sleep as they slept late & Nandini was in washroom.

Luv was sleeping on a sofa which was not so wide. suddenly Luv turned around in sleep & about to fall down when Manik saw that. he immediately rushed to Luv & held him in his arms close to his chest securely.

Luv woke up with a jerk in fear & found himself in a safe place. don't know why Luv was feeling good being in Manik's arms. may be it was a father's warmth which was making him comfortable & protected.

Manik:- (worried) are you okey Champ?

Luv:- ya thanks. you can put me down.

Manik wanted to keep his kids in his protective arms like that but it wasn't the right situation so he put him down.

At that time Kush tried to move his left hand in sleep & winched in pain.

Kush:- Ahhh......

Manik & Luv rushed to him & said together,

Manik+Luv:- (hell worried) what happen???

Kush:- (made a crying face) my hand, its paining.

Manik+Luv:- (shouted together) then stop moving you hand idiot.

saying this they both looked at each other & again said together,

Manik+Luv:- (confused) why are you copying me?

Manik+Luv:- (angrily)what the f***.

Manik+Luv:- (hell angry) did you just sweare???

Kush was looking at them like they were some aliens, who came from some other planets when Nandini came out from washroom and saw Manik & Luv was looking at each other angrily.

Nandini:- (confused) what happened guys?

Manik & Luv pointed towards each other & again said together,

Manik+Luv:- (hell angry) he was swearing.

before Nandini could say something Manik said to Luv,

Manik:- (strictly) o hello you are a kid, you shouldn't swear. it's a bad manner you know?

Luv:- (with same tone) o hello you are an adult that doesn't mean you have licence to swear.

now this was enough for Nandini, she just hate swearing when our hero the great Manik Malhotra pro in that which Nandini hate from the core.

Nandini:- (shouted loudly) stop it. Luv you are grounded for two days.

Luv:- (helplessly) but....

Nandini:- (strictly) not a word Luv and you Mr Malhotra you if i again find you swearing infront of my kids na, i will kill you understand? you batter understand.

one angry look from Nandini & it was enough for both father & son to shut their mouth. Luv & Manik gave a last angry look to each other and turned opposite.

Manik walked to Diya who was sleeping peacefully. he took her in his arms & said,

Manik:- (slowly) Baby Doll wake up, see its morning.....

Diya hugged Manik's neck & slept keeping her head on his shoulder. don't know why seeing this pampering side of Manik for Diya both twins were burning in anger.

Diya:- (in sleepy tone) Chachu let me sleep na.

Manik:- no Doll yesterday you didn't eat well. ab jaldi sa fresh ho jao then we will have a proper  breakfast & then if you want you can sleep again.

Diya:- nahi mujha abhi sona ha.

Manik:- (strictly) Doll you want me to call Aliya?

hearing this Diya woke up with a jerk & said,

Diya:- (scared) no no don't call Mom. she will scold me.

Manik:- then go to washroom & freshen up okey?

Diya:- okey.

with that Diya went to washroom & after some time when she came out, she saw something which made her blood boil in anger.....
