THE NEXT DAY

Nandu reached office early and decided to avoid Manik as much as possible.. While she was setting up her mind on this.. her heart disturbed saying something else.. It wanted to see its owner(Manik) as soon as possible..

Finally agreeing with the mind, she arranged the required files and azenda of today's schedule along with a strong coffee on Manik's table and made herself busy in something or nothing to distract herself from his thoughts..

Manik and Cabir entered the office laughing hard and cracking jokes which got everyone's attention over there.. They never seen Manik laughing this way.. So they just kept on staring at him.. This caught Manik's attention and he got confused.. 

Manik(whispers)- In sab ko kya ho gaya.. aise ghur kyu rahe hai mujhe..?

Cabir- May be to find the new Manik Malhotra..

Manik- matlab..?

Cabir- badh me tumhi samaj jaoge.. ye sab chod.. You know what you've to do right..??

Manik- haa.. But what if it backfires..??

Cabir- arey.. itna pareshan kyu ho rahe ho.. ye Cabir Dhawan ka plan hai.. kabhi mera plans flop huyi hai kya..?

Manik- kabhi success bhi nahi huwa tha..!!

Cabir- ho jatha hai kabhi kabhi.. wo toh choti choti ghalthiyo ki wajah se..

Manik- Cabirrrrr...

Cabir- okay.. mein ye kehne wala tha ki.. wo tumhe jaroor ignore karthe rahegi.. Aur tum use irritate karthe rehna...

Manik- Ignore Vs Irritate..???

Cabir- wah.. what a title..!! perfect..!! Manik malhotra.. Your brain is in the correct track.. Make use of it properly.. Aur ha.. jyadha thang math karna meri behen ko.. My eyes are on you..!

Manik- ye kya meri behen meri behen laga rakha hai.. She's my girlfriend first..! And I know how to deal with her.. Did you get that..?

Cabir- woooh.. Possessiveness..!! well.. My work is done..

Manik- what work..??

Cabir- To get you into the Boyfriend mode... Now go and deal with your Little monster.. sorry.. sorry.. Little Girlfriend..>!!

Manik just smiles and move towards his cabin and immediately through intercom dial Nandu's number..

Nandu pov- Monster.. Abhi toh aaya tha.. 

Actually she pretended to be busy but her ears were on the duty.. when she heard the door knob being opened.. she understood that he had come..

Nandu- Yes sir..

Manik- My cabin.. Now..!!

Nandu- No.

he already cut the call..

she barged into his cabin as an angry lioness..

Nandu- whats your problem..? Why did you call me..?

Manik- Good Morning Nandu..

he said lost in her beauty and ignoring all her taunts..

Nandu- what..??

Manik- dont you know wishing back is the minimum manners.. Didnt your boyfriend teach you that..?

Nandu- Boyfriend..? why the hell will he teach me the manners..? ANd moreover I dont have any boyfriend..

Nandu-  You're so disgusting..!

Manik- I know.. You're the reason for it..

Nandu- mein.. what did I do..?

Manik- If you havent went away leaving me then I wont be this way you know..

Nandu- For your Information, chod ke mein nahi.. chod ke tum gaye the..!

Nandu- Arghh.. kuch ghalthi kartha hai aur.. just forget it..

she tried to walk away.. But Manik held her wrist and pulled her with a jerk.. SHe banged on his broad chest and struggled to get out of his embrace..

He didnt give up and back hugged her and whispered..

Manik- You're looking gorgeous today..!!

Nandu stops struggling and looks at him shockingly still remaining in his embrace..

He took the opportunity and pecked on her cheek..

This was it for her.. SHe pushed him harder gathering all the strength and moved away..

 Manik- Nandini..

Nandu just glares at him..

Manik- wo.. mujhe coffee chahiye tha..

Nandu- Its on your table.. Take it yourself..

Manik- Please serve it na..

Nandu- why will I do that..?

Manik- Do i need to remember repeatedly that I'm your boss here.. and you've to obey my orders..

She stamps her foot and goes to serve the coffee for him...

he comes near her and adjust her hair strangles which are disturbing her..

She protested for sometime.. But after 5-6 times of his attempts, she pour the coffee on his blazer profusely..

Manik- What did you do...?

Nandu- Punishment for troubling me..!

Manik- Really.. Then you should clean it yourself..

Nandu- Excuse me.. 

Manik- yeah.. Excused.. But no need of apologies.. Just clean it.. I wont fire you..! After all you're my favorite employer..!!

Nandu- Apology maanga bhi kisne..?

she said gritting her teeth..

Manik- woooooo.. I'm scared.. 

He started moving towards her.. she moved backwards..

He slowly opens his blazer and this act of him surprised Nandu..

Nandu- What are you doing..?

Manik- Kuch bhi toh nahi..

and continued moving towards her decreasing the distance between them...

Their proximity made her loose sense and unknowingly she whispered his name..

Nandu(stammering) - MA.. nik..!!!

he grins with a winning smirk and spoke..

Manik- Thank you shona...

saying this he pecks on her nose and took a step back..

Nandu- You did this deliberately..

Manik- What..?

Nandu- distracting me..!

Manik- I was just removing the blazer as you spilled the coffee on it.. wait.. what were you thinking... Ek second.. chi.. How can you think like that Nandu.. I dont mind to fulfill your wish but let me remind you we're in office sweetheart.. Only work is allowed.. No naughty things..!!

he said with a naughty smirk on his face..

Nandu stamps her foot on his.. with this he pulls back his leg and hisses in pain..  SHe went away without sparing any glance at him..

AFTERNOON

Nandu moves towards the canteen and seated to have her meals but surprised to find no one there..

A man comes near her with a tray of food..

Nandu- arey... Maine order nahi kiya hai ab tak..

Man- I know shona..

she looks at him and shouts..

Nandu- Tum..? what are you doing her..?

Manik- Just came to accompany my girlfriend..

Nandu- Manik..!

Manik- aww.. its sounds so cool to hear my name from you..

Nandu- you know what.. I'm leaving..

Manik- No.. You cant..

Nandu- yes.. I will..

she was about to leave.. he pulls her back and sits infront of her closely blocking her to move..

Manik- Dont make any nuisance and just eat..

Nandu- you're the one creating nuisance here.. not me..

Manik- well.. Thanks for the compliment.. Cant you see.. All are your favorites..

Nandu- They were my favorites.. But not now..

Manik- tikhe.. Lets see.. Till when you'll deny..

He starts munching the food and praising its taste every now and then..

she got irritated and takes the mobile from her bag and pretends like dialing some number..

He observed her keenly without stopping his eating session..

Nandu- Ha.. Aryaman..!

When she spoke to the person. he stopped eating the food and looks at her angrily..

Nandu- Are you free now..??

she asked looking straight into Manik's eyes..

Nandu- No.. Actually I dont wanna eat in canteen.. Can you please accompany me for the lunch in the restaurant near my office..

Manik is spitting fire..

Nandu- oh.. how sweet..

thats it for him.. he snatched the phone from her and shouted on the person..

Manik- hello Mister.. You better stay where you are.. No need to come anywhere.. Hello.. Are you listening...? Hello..

 He looks at the screen and found there is no call..

Manik- so you're trying to make me jealous..!

Nandu- why will I do that..?

Manik- Oh.. stop acting Nandu.. I just caught you.. I know you better than yourself..

Nandu- whatever..

Manik- Never ever talk to him infront of me.. Did you get that..?

Nandu- And why do you think I'll listen to you..

Manik- tum aise nahi manoge na.. wait..

he switched on her mobile and opened the contact list..

Nandu- Manik..! What are you doing.. give back my phone..

MAnik- Its done..

he said as he succeeded in deleting his number from her phone..

Nandu- What did you do..?

Manik- protecting my girl from jerks..!

She disbelievingly nods her head..
