A very long update of approx. 8500 words

(They all moved towards their destination. Nandini saw where they are and asked manik.)

N: Mani.. hum yahan? (Manik smiled and spoke.)

M: Yes.. tumhari wish thi na.. toh bas maine socha ki tumhare birthday ki shuruwaat yahin se karte hain.. in bachon ke chehre par smile lakar.. (Yes.. they are in the orphanage.)

N: Thanku..

M: My pleasue... Aur haan ek baat aur yaad rakhna ki main tumhari har wish puri karna chahta hoon.. choti badi.. har wish.. lekin tumhare saath.. tumhare bina nhi.. okay.. (Nandini nodded her head.

M: Chalein?

N: Chalo..

IN THE ORPHANAGE'S GARDEN:

(All of them went inside and distribute the chocolates and play with them. Then manik moved in the garden. Nandini came from behind and back-hugged him and spoke smilingly and excitedly. Manik smiled and put his hands on her hands.)

N: Thanku... thanku so much mani.. pata hai aj mujhe kitna acha lag raha hai yahan aakar.. main apne har birthday par yahan aati thi lekin akele.. aur aj main yahan hamari puri family ke saath aayi hoon especially tumhare saath.. thanku so much.. (Manik brought nandini in front of him and spoke smilingly after pecking her forehead.)

M: Meri angel khush toh main double khush.. (Nandini see something in manik's eyes and face and asked him.)

N: Kya huya mani?

M: Kya huya.. kuch bhi toh nhi.. (Though manik tried to hide but he forgot that they are like open book to each other and can even read their soul.)

N: Fir tumhare chehre par ye tension kaisi? Ab toh sab thk hai na.. Toh fir?

M: Arey kuch nhi angel.. tumhe aise hi lag raha hai.. (Nandini spoke lovingly.)

N: Mujhe tumhari aankhein padhna bhut ache se aata hai.. and your eyes can never lie to me.. toh bolo kya pareshaani hai.. (Manik sighed and spoke as he know he can't hide anything from his angel for long.)

M: Vo.. I am scared..

N: Scared? Par kyun? Ab toh sab thk hai na toh fir.. (Manik spoke being scared.)

M: Vo mujhe ye soch-soch kar hi darr lag raha hai ki aj mujhse thodi der aur ho jati toh kya hota? Agar main thodi der aur kar deta toh tum mangalore chali jati?

N: Toh chali jati toh kya hota.. tum kya mujhe mangalore lene nhi aate? (Manik immediately spoke with determination.)

M: Ofcourse aata.. tumhe apne paas laane ke liye mujhe kahin bhi jana padta na main jata par tumhe apne paas lekar hi aata..

N: Toh fir.. (Manik spoke hell scared holding nandini's hand tightly.)

M: Its just that ki.. angel vo kuch pal jo maine tumhare bina guzare na vo meri life ka sabse toughest moment the.. aur agar tum mangalore chali jati toh mujhe kuch ghante aur tumhare bina guzarne padte.. unn kuch ghanton ne hi meri jaan nikal di thi.. kitne bure-bure khayal aa rahe the dimag mein aur ye soch kar hi mujhe darr lag raha hai ki agr tum mangalore chali jati toh mujhe kuch ghante aur vaise hi tadapte huye guzarne padte.. main toh dard mein hi hota hi lekin mere saath saath tumhe bhi uss dard se guzarna padta.. aur main kabhi ye nhi chahta.. I am really sorry.. agar main pehle hi tumhe apne dil ki baat bata deta.. sahi time ka intezaar na karta toh aj ye sab nhi hota.. (Nandini tightened her hold on his hand giving him assurance.)

N: Iss mein tumhari galti nhi hai mani.. Infact I am sorry ki meri vajah se tumhe ye sab sehna pada.. agar main thodi aur patience rakhti aur tum par thoda aur trust karti toh main ye impulsive decision nhi leti.. aur ye na hota. I am sorry...

M: Nhi angel.. galti meri hai.. (Nandini knew both will not agree so thought to let go off the topic.)

N: Acha chodo.. galti hum dono ki hi nhi hai.. bhul jao isse.. infact hamein iss se sikhne ko 2 baatein mili jisse hum humesha yaad rakhenge..

M: Kya?

N: Dekho agar tum mujhe pehle hi sab bata dete toh aj ye nhi hota.. right? Toh hamein ye seekhna chahiye ki hamare beech har time sahi hai.. we don't have to wait for any correct time bas jo dil mein hai vo hamein ek dusre ko bina kisi hesitation ke bata dena hai taki baad mein jakar koi misunderstanding na ho jaise ki aj huyi.. so.. from now onwards we will not keep secrets with each other.. we'll share everything right away.. okay..

M: Hmm..  Aur dusri?

N: Dusri ye ki agar maine itna impulsively act na kiya hota toh aj ye nhi hota.. toh we'll promise each other ki hum kabhi bhi impulsively act nhi karenge ek dusre ke mamle mein.. and we'll trust each other to fullest.. we'll trust each other eyes more than words.. maine tumhari aankhon mein apne liye pyaar dekha tha agar main unpe aur zyada trust karti toh kal ki baat ka mujhpe effect nhi hota.. so kuch bhi ho jaye hum ek dusre ki silence ko ache se padhenge aur impulsively act kabhi nhi karenge.. we'll always trust each other.. okay..

M: Hmm..

N: And I promise ki main aj ke baad kabhi tumse dur jane ke bare mein sochungi bhi nhi.. I promise..

M: Aur main kabhi tumhe khud se dur jane dunga bhi nhi.. Tum jaan ho meri.. tumhe humesha apni nazron ke saamne rakhunga.. (Nandini spoke teasing manik.)

N: Acha toh raat mein kya karoge? Pura din hum saath mein rahenge par raat mein toh mujhe mere ghar jana hi padega na.. tumhari nazron se dur.. (Manik immediately got tensed listening to it and nandini spoke sensing it and hugged him to calm him.)

N: Main mazak kar rahi thi.. itni tension mat lo.. (Manik hugged her back. Both were in each other embrace when manik spoke after few minutes.)

M: Maine soch liya..

N: Huh... (Nandini looked at manik still in the hug.)

M: Haan.. maine soch liya ki main tumhe khud ki nazron se dur nhi jane dunga toh isliye abse tum mere saath hamare ghar malhotra mansion mein rahogi.. (Nandini became shocked listening to manik and immediately broke the hug and spoke.)

N: What? (Manik spoke seriously.)

M: Haan..

N: Ye tum kya bol rahe ho?

M: Haan.. main tumhe khud ki nazron se dur nhi kar sakta toh ab tum mere saath rahogi..

N: Mani.. Tum bekaar mein itni tension le rahe ho.. I promise main aj ke baad kahin jane ke bare mein sochungi bhi nhi.. (Manik spoke being scared to not to see nandini and spoke holding her hand trying to make her understand.)

M: I know.. I trust you.. par dekho.. tum bhi janti ho ki meri studies complete hone wali hai and waise bhi abhi main free tha toh college aata tha par ab next week se meri albums ki recording start ho rahi hai aur mujhe vahan jana hoga aur fir mujhe business meetings bhi attend karni hoti hai isliye main mostly collge nhi aa pata.. toh hum dono kaise milenge... pura din main apne kaam mein busy ho jayunga aur tumhare bhi toh lectures honge aur exams bhi.. aur iss sab mein hum pura din mil hi nhi payenge aur fir raat mein bhi ek dusre ke bina.. no.. main aisa nhi hone de sakta.. main ek din bhi tumhe bina dekhe nhi reh sakta.. (Nandini tried to make him understand.)

N: Toh it's okay na.. kaam bhi zaruri hai.. tum jab marzi raat mein bhi mujhe milne aa sakte ho.. koi tumhe mana nhi karega.. vo tumhara hi ghar hai.. u know that..

M: I know angel.. par fir bhi main roz-roz toh nhi aa sakta na.. aur agar aaya bhi toh sirf 1-2 hours ke liye and that's not enough.. main ek pal bhi tumhare bina nhi rehna chahta.. hum pura din apne kaam mein busy honge aur agar tum malhotra mansion mein rahogi toh I'll be satisfied ki atleast raat mein toh tum mere paas hogi.. mere saath hogi..

N: Par mani ghar pe koi nhi manega..

M: Unse main baat kar lunga..

N: Par mani tumhe apne concerts ke liye apni business meetings ke liye Mumbai se bahar bhi jana padega tab kya karenge hum.. (Manik immediately spoke.)

M: Toh tum mere saath chalna.. (Nandini sighed and spoke.)

N: Mani.. aise nhi hota hai.. ho sakta hai tab mere exams ho.. main apne exams chodkar toh nhi chal sakti na.. (Manik spoke trying to make nandini agree.. he just want nandini and nothing else.)

M: Tab we'll manage.. jab hoga tab dekha jayega.. aur tab bhi mujhe itni satisfaction hogi ki tum ghar par mera intezaar kar rahi ho aur main vapis aakar jitna chahe utna time tumhare saath spend kar sakta hoon.. Pls angel try to understand.. I promise I will never cross my limits.. I will never do anything that will make you uncomfortable.. I promise..

N: I know that mani.. I trust you the most.. and I am the most comfortable with you.. iss baat ka toh sawaal hi nhi hai..

M: Toh fir.. (Nandini knew manik will not agree.. so she agrees and spoke smilingly.)

N: Acha okay.. agar tum yahi chahte ho toh yahi sahi.. tumhari khushi mein hi meri khushi hai.. (But for manik nandini's happiness matters the most.)

M: Nhi.. iss rishte mein kuch bhi mera ya tumhara nhi hai.. sab hamara hai.. it's about us.. agar tum apni khushi se ye chahti ho toh hi ye hoga.. (Nandini was just a little hesitant otherwise she has no problem.)

N: Mani.. mujhe koi problem nhi hai.. it's just that ki ye sab new hai mere liye toh thoda awkward hai mere liye but I guess dheere-dheere I'll get comfortable.. aur fir uncle-aunty aur chacha-chachi se bhi puchna padega.. pata nhi vo kya sochenge..

M: I understand.. and u don't have to be get uncomfortable for anything.. vo tumhara hi ghar hai.. you should be the most comfortable there.. aur vaise bhi aj nhi toh kal toh tumhe vahan aana hi hai.. ya.. we are still young to get married par agar tum chaho toh hum kar sakte hain.. (In the end manik tease nandini making her blush.)

N: Mani... tum bhi na..

M: Hehe.. Okay.. I know ki we are small for marriage but we are mature enough to understand all this.. aur rahi baat ghar walon ki toh unse main baat kar lunga.. and I assure you ki koi kuch galat nhi sochega.. Main sab dekh lunga bas you should be comfortable.. (Nandini was tensed about rishabh and manik read her unspoken words.)

M: Aur rishabh ki tension bhi mat lo.. vo bhi hamare saath malhotra mansion mein rahega.. (This was a surprise for nandini.)

N: Mani?

M: Kya.. agar tum meri aankhein padh sakti ho toh main bhi padh sakta hoon.. aur abhi humne kya decide kiya tha ki we won't hesitate to talk to each other.. toh fir ab kyun nhi bola tumne?

N: I am sorry..

M: Koi nee.. par future mein dhyan rakhna.. aur rahi baat rishabh ki.. toh vo sirf tumhara bhai nhi hai.. mere liye bhi vo utna hi important hai jitna tumhare liye.. vo meri life ka ek bhut important part hai.. mera bacha hai vo.. toh vo hamare saath hi rahega.. (Manik's respect in nandini's eyes grew more.. so she spoke lovingly.)

N: Okay.. tum rishabh se baat kar lena.. fir jaisa usse thk lage.. we won't force him for anything..

M: Okay.. Toh main abhi ghar jakar sabse baat kar leta hoon..

N: Jaisa tumhe thk lage.. (With this nandini hugged manik who hugged her back tightly and spoke pecking her hairs.)

M: I can't wait to welcome you in our home for forever..

M: I love you.. (Nandini tightened the hug and spoke.)

N: I love you too.. (After some time everyone called them and then bidding ye they came outside the orphanage where manik's dad spoke.)

M Dad: Acha chalo ab hum log ghar chalte hain aur ready hokar puja par milte hain..

CHACHA: Ji..

C: Haan.. manik hum bhi uncle ke saath chale jate hain aur tu inhe drop kar de..

M: Haan.. ye thk hai.. (Cabir spoke with hesitation.)

C: Vo main apne parents ko bhi le ayun puja mein? (Nandini scolded cabir for even thinking something like that and then spoke to every younster.)

N: Bhai ye kya keh rahe ho ap? Vo apki family hai.. iska matlab vo meri bhi family hai.. And infact vo ghar apka bhi hai.. vahan ap kisi ko bhi la sakte ho.. apko permission ki zarurat nhi hai.. Aur tum sab ko bhi..

CHACHI: Nandu bilkul thk keh rahi hai.. Tum sab mere hi bache ho.. Samjha cabir..

CHACHA: Dobara aisi baat kahi toh do thapad khayega..

C: I am sorry..

NY: Acha chalo ab..

C: Navya tum bhi chalo hamare saath.. tumhe bhi change karna hoga..

NA: Haan.. (Then they all went towards their respective places.)

AT MURTHY HOUSE:

(They came outside the car and saw the house door open.)

N: Chachi.. ap main door khula chodkar hi aa gayi thi..

CHACHI: Arey nhi.. maine ache se lock kiya tha..

CHACHA: Shanno ji.. apko thk se yaad hai na...

CHACHI: Haan ye dekho keys bhi mere paas hai..

N: Fir yeh..

CHACHI: Hey bhagwaan.. kahin koi chor toh nhi ghus aaya..

CHACHA: Aiyoo.. ab kya karein? (All became scared when manik came in front.)

M: Angel.. tum yahan mere peeche ao.. Ap sab bhi peeche rahiye.. ghabraiye mat.. main dekhta hoon.. (Nandini spoke being scared.)

N: Nhi mani.. agar uske paas koi hathiyar huya toh.. nhi..

M: Angel.. kuch nhi hoga mujhe.. Trust me.. tum yahan peeche raho.. (Manik calmed nandini and then with slow steps moved inside the house and was shocked to see the scene in front of him as a lady was standing there with flower basket in her hand and manik spoke to himself.)

M: Hain.. chor ek lady hai aur ye flower chura rahin hain? (All others also came behind him and nandini recognised the lady and immediately rushed towards her and hugged her.)

N: Amms.. (Manik was shocked to hear nandini and then calmed himself while speaking to hmself and thanked god for protecting him.)

M: Oh shit.. ye angel ki amms hain.. shukar hai manik tune zor se nhi bola pehle.. varna amms ko impress karne ki bajaye aj unhe chor samajhne ke kaaran teri dhulai ho jati unse.. No.. No.. thanku aiyappa.. bacha liya apne.. I have to impress amms.. meri angel ki amms hain vo..

Am: Happy birthday..

N: Thanku amms..

Am: Kaisi hai meri gudiya? (They broke the hug.)

N: Bhut achi.. (All hugged her and took her blessings.)

CHACHI: Ap yahan achanak?

Am: Arey meri nandu ka birthday hai toh main kaise nhi aati and I knew ki tumne puja rakhi hai.. toh main aa gayi.. Par jab main yahan aayi toh lock laga huya tha toh maine saamne wale ghar se hamare ghar ki dusri keys le li.. Tumne mujhe bataya tha ki unke paas hoti hai..

CHACHA: Oh..

Am: Par tum sab itni subah kahan agaye the?

N: Vo.. vo.. amms hum sab mandir gaye the..

Am: Okay..

R: Main thak gaya hoon.. subah itni jaldi utha tha toh main jakar so jayun?

Am: Haan beta ja.. 10 baje puja hai.. abhi 8 baj rahe hai.. main thodi der mein tujhe utha dungi..

R: Ji.. (Amms saw manik standing there and asked.)

Am: Ye kaun hai? (Chachi smiled and spoke.)

CHACHI: Amms.. ye manik hai.. (Amms moved forward and hugged him.. manik became shocked but still hugged her back.. Then she broke the hug and pecked his forehead lovingly and spoke thanking him with tears in her eyes.)

Am: Thanku beta.. thanku so much. . Mujhe shanno ne bataya ki tumne nandu ke liye kya-kya kiya.. usse kaise samjhaya.. usse kaise sambhala.. aur aj sirf tumhari wajah se main uske chehre par vahi bachpan wali innocence se bhari khushi dekh rahi hoon.. vo peace dekh rahi hoon jo main itne saalon se dekhne ke liye taras rahi thi.. Aj itne saalon baad maine isse dil se khush dekha hai.. Iss mein vahin bachpan vali nandu dekhi hai.. aur ye sab tumhari wajah se.. thanku.. (Manik immediately spoke.)

M: Nhi amms ye kya keh rahi hain ap? Infact sach toh ye hai ki agar aj main khush hoon.. saitisfied hoon.. toh sirf apki nandu ki wajah se aur maine jo bhi kiya vo apki nandu ke liye nhi balki apni khushi ke liye kiya hai.. Kyunki apki nandu ki khushi hi meri khushi hai.. Pls thanku mat kahiye..

Am: Nhi beta tum nhi jante ki tumne mujhe kya diya hai.. Ye aankhein apni poti ki asli khushi dekhne ke liye taras gayi thi.. Thanku.. (She folded her hand in front of him which manik immediately holded and then put her hand on his head and spoke.)

M: Ye kya kar rahi ho ap.. Badon ke haath chotton ko aashirwaad dete huye ache lagte hain.. aise chotton ke saamne haath jodte huye nhi... (Amms blessed him and then spoke smilingly.)

Am: Main tumhe kuch dena chahti hoon.. bolo kya chahiye tumhe?

M: Mujhe bas apka aashirwaad chahiye..

Am: Vo humesha tumhare saath hai.. Pls bolo kya chahiye?

M: Acha okay.. par uss se pehle main apko kuch batana chahta hoon.. (He brought nandini beside him and then holded her hand and entangeled his fingers with her and spoke nervously.)

M: Vo main aur angel.. I mean main aur nandini ek dusre se bhut pyaar karte hain.. We both love each other.. (Amms became shocked.)

Am: Kya? (Manik immediately spoke assuring amms.)

M: Ji.. I promise amms main apki nandu ko humesha khush rakhunga.. Ye meri angel hai.. isse main humesha ek princess ki tarah.. ek queen ki tarah rakhunga.. apko shikayat ka koi mauka nhi dunga.. angel ka haath kabhi nhi chodunga.. I promise.. (Amms spoke faking anger.)

Am: Nandu kya ye sach hai aur tum logon ne ye sab mujhe pehle kyun nhi bataya? (Manik can't bear anyone scolding nandini.)

M: Pls amms ap angel ko kuch mat kahiye.. humne abhi thodi der pehle hi ek dusre se confess kiya isliye apko kuch nhi pata.. I am sorry but pls ap angel ko mat daantiye.. chahe toh mujhe daant lijiye.. par isse nhi.. (Nandini also took manik stand and spoke with confidence.)

N: Haan amms ye sach hai... main mani se bhut pyaar karti hoon.. (Manik doesn't want amms to scold nandini so he immediately turned towards nandini and spoke.)

M: Angel.. main baat kar raha hoon na.. (Nandini smiled and spoke lovingly.)

N: Mani.. jab pyaar hum dono ne kiya hai toh baat bhi hum dono hi karenge.. Aur maine koi galti nhi ki hai tumse pyaar karke ki main isse accept bhi na kar sakun.. I love you aur main kisi ke saamne bhi ye bol sakti hoon.. (Manik smiled widely listening to nandini and spoke lovingly.)

M: I love you too..

Am: Aur agar main na kar doon toh? (Amms spoke seriously and nandini became shocked listening to her.)

N: Amms? (Though manik was scared from inside but still not to lose nandini, he smiled and spoke with confidence still respecting amms.)

M: Don't worry amms.. Angel apki beti hai.. ap uska acha bura janti ho.. main apke khilaf nhi jayunga.. main janta hoon angel ke liye apke kya mayne hain aur ap ek maa hain toh obviously apko iski fikar hai.. aur ap mujhe janti hi kitna hai.. Don't worry main kuch galat nhi karunga.. main apko manane ki puri koshish karunga aur jab tak apko mujh par apni beti ke liye bharosa nhi ho jata aur ap haan nhi keh deti tab tak apko manata rahunga chahe jitna marzi time kyun na lag jaye.. chahe mujhe apka koi bhi test kyun na paas karna pade main karunga par apki haan toh lekar hi rahunga.. (After hearing all this, nandini was having happy tears for loving a pure soul like manik. Even chacha-chachi and amms feel blessed to have someone like manik for their daughter nandini. Manik tightened the hold on nandini's hand and spoke.)

M: Par haan amms maine meri angel ka haath sirf kehne ke liye nhi pakda hai.. apko manane ki puri koshish karunga par apni angel ka haath aur saath kabhi bhi nhi chodunga.. (Amms smiled and spoke.)

Am: Mujhe shanno ne bataya tha ki tum nandu se bhut pyaar karte ho lekin aj maine uss pyaar ki gehrai ko dekh bhi liya aur ye bhi ki tum sab kuch apne badon ke aashirwaad se karna chahte ho.. kisi ka dil dukhakar nhi.. bhut ache bache ho.. (Manik smiled widely and spoke.)

M: Ye sab angel ki wajah se hai.. main toh ek monster tha jisse insaan meri angel ne banaya.. rishte-naate nibhana.. badon ki respect karna.. ye sab toh isne sikhaya hai mujhe.. (Manik asked.)

M: Acha toh apki haan hai na.. I mean apko manzoor hai na hum dono ka rishta? (Amms smiled widely and spoke.)

Am: Arey jiss rishte ko khud nandu ke amma-appa ne aashirwaad de diya ho usko main kaise mana kar sakti hoon... nandu apne amma-appa ki princess thi aur unhe pata hai ki unhe kaisa rajkumar chahiye apni bêti ke liye jo usse unse bhi zyada khush rakh sake.. ek maa-baap se acha ye koi nhi janta ki uske bache ki khushi kis mein hai aur tumhe toh unka aashirwaad mil chuka hai toh mere mana karne ka sawaal hi nhi uthta.. (Manik smiled widely listening to this. Nandini also smiled seeing amms agree but was later became became confused.)

N: Ye kya keh rahe ho ap? Amma-appa ka aashirwaad mani ko? Matlab?

(Then chachi narrated that incident. Nandini was having tears in her eyes that she got her parents blessings also.)

N: Sach? (Manik spoke wiping her tears.)

M: Haan.. and I promise amma-appa ne jo mujh mein vishwas kiya hai tumhe lekar main usse kabhi nhi todunga.. I promise.. (Nandini spoke smilingly.)

N: I know.. (Manik pecked nandini's forehead.) (Manik smilingly spoke to amms.)

M: Thanku amms mujhe accept karne ke liye..

Am: Arey.. itne ache bachhe ko koi kaise mana kar sakta hai..

Am: Acha ab btao kya chahiye tumhe mujhse? (Manik was nervous now.)

M: Vo.. vo..

Am: Bolo.. (Manik took deep breath and spoke.)

M: Vo main chahta hoon ki ap angel ko mujhe saump do..

CHACHI: Kya matlab manik? I mean abhi toh amms ne tum dono ke liye haan kaha toh nandu toh tumhari hi huyi na..

M: Haan.. Vo.. vo mera matlab hai ki main chahta hoon ki angel ab se mere saath hamare ghar.. I mean malhotra mansion mein rahe.. (They became shocked listening to manik.)

Am: Ye tum kya bol rahe ho? (Manik requested all of them.)

M: Amms pls mana mat kijiye.. Pls chacha-chachi.. Main angel ko bhut khush rakhunga.. I promise.. Vo uska apna hi ghar hai.. infact sabse zyada uska hi haq hai uss ghar par.. pls main ab angel se dur nhi reh sakta.. pls..

CHACHI: Par beta tum dono toh college mein humesha saath hi rahoge na aur ye bhi toh tumhara hi ghar hai tum jab chahe usse milne yahan aa sakte ho..

CHACHA: Haan.. jab marzi yahan ao.. koi tumhe nhi rokega..

M: I know chacha-chachi.. Ap dono thk keh rahe ho.. But ab kuch time mein mujhe apna business sambhalna hai.. main uss mein busy ho jayunga aur angel college mein.. aur main nhi chahta ki iss busy life mein hum dono ek dusre ko mil bhi na payein.. mujhe concerts ke liye.. Business meetings ke liye bahar bhi jana hoga aur ap jante ho na ki kitna kuch huya hamare beech... kitni misunderstandings bhi thi aur main nhi chahta ki ab kuch bhi ya koi duri bhi hum done ke beech mein aaye.. so pls mujhe permisiion de dijiye.. Main angel ko humesha apne paas rakhna chahta hoon..

Believe me amms main kabhi kisi ko mauka tak nhi dunga ki koi meri angel ke baare mein kuch bhi galat bole.. itni himmat kisi mein nhi hai amms.. Pls maan jayiye.. (They were hesitant to agree. They trust manik but this society is stopping them.)

Am: Par? Nandu tum hi manik ko samjhao? (Nandini spoke nervously.)

N: Amms main bhi.. main bhi yahi chahti hoon.. (Now, this was shock for them.)

Am: Kya? (Manik immediately spoke so as not to get nandini scolded.)

M: Amms.. ye decision mera tha.. angel sirf mujhe support kar rahi hai.. Pls ap usse galat mat samjhiye.. Pls maan jayiye..

Am: Par? (Manik spoke assuring them.)

M: I promise amms main apka bharosa kabhi nhi todunga.. kabhi aisa kuch nhi karunga jiss se apka sir sharam se jhuk jaye.. chahe hum dono saath rahenge but I will never cross my limits till we'll get married to each other.. I promise.. pls mana mat kijiye.. pls chacha-chachi.. (They know manik loves nandini a lot and nandini too and they trust manik with their daughter so they agree.)

CHACHI: Agar amms ko koi problem nhi hai toh mujhe koi problem nhi hai..

CHACHA: Haan.. we trust you.. (Manik smiled and spoke.)

M: Thanku.. Pls amms..

Am: Thk hai par meri ek condition hai.. (Manik smiled widely and spoke excitedly.)

M: Thanku amms.. mujhe apki har condition manzur hai.. ap bas order kijiye.. (Amms spoke dropping a bomb on them.)

Am: Tum dono ko aj sagai karni hogi.. fir hi nandu tumhare saath ja sakti hai.. (Though manik has no problem to do engagement with nandini but still he was surprised to hear amms condition. He frowned and spoke.) (Nandini was happy too but a bit confused because it's a very big responsibility.)

M: Sagai? (Amms spoke her point of view which manik understand completely.)

Am: Haan.. dekho manik ye mat samajhna ki mujhe tum par ya tumhare pyaar par bharosa nhi hai.. I trust you with my daughter.. par ye bhi sach hai ki hum iss society mein rehte hain.. tum kis-kis ka mooh bandh karwaoge.. (Manik has no problem but he want to know nandini's opinion.)

M: Kya main angel se do minute akele mein baat kar sakta hoon..

(With this manik and nandini went inside nandini's room to talk.)

(Seeing nandini lost, manik asked her.)

M: Angel.. kuch bolo? (Nandini asked softly.)

N: Tum kya chahte ho mani? (Manik spoke lovingly.)

N: Main nhi.. tum kya chahti ho?

N: Kya tum abhi sagai karna chahte ho.. I mean kya tum iss responsibility ke liye tyaar ho.. (Manik smiled and spoke.)

M: Sach kahun angel chahe hamari sagai abhi ho ya fir kuch mahino baad mujhe iss se koi farq nhi padta.. tum meri ho aur humesha meri hi rahogi.. toh mujhe iss mein koi problem nhi hai.. Aur ye koi responsibility nhi hai mere liye.. ye toh hamari khushiyan hain aur aj nhi toh kal toh hamein ye karna hi hai.. Agar amms ko iss se tasalli milti hai toh mujhe koi problem nhi hai.. Tum bolo tumhara dil kya kehta hai? (Nandini smiled and spoke.)

N: Mani.. sach kahun toh mujhe bhi koi problem nhi hai.. Agar mujhe abhi shaadi ke liye bhi kehte toh mujhe uss mein bhi koi problem nhi thi because we both are mature enough to take our responsibilities and we know what is right and what is wrong for us at this age.. Par mani main abhi shaadi isliye nhi karna chahti because amma-appa ne ek sapna dekha tha mere liye ki main ek achi singer banun aur main unke sapne ko nandini murthy bankar.. unki beti bankar pura karna chahti hoon.. bas isliye main abhi shaadi nhi kar sakti.. haa par hum sagai zarur kar sakte hain.. (Manik smiled widely and spoke lovingly.)

M: And I promise iss sapne ko pura karne mein mujh se jo bann padega main karunga..

N: Nhi mani.. main ye sapna khud pura karna chahti hoon.. apni mehnat se..

M: I know.. main tumhari madad karunga tumhara saath dekar.. tumhara support bankar.. baki mehnat toh saari tumhe hi karni hogi.. (Manik asked excitedly.)

M: So sagai ke liye tayaar.. (Nandini smiled widely and spoke.)

N: Bilkul..

M: Chalein.. (Both moved outside hand in hand and went towards amms and spoke smilingly.)

M: Amms hum tyaar hain.. (All smiled listening their answer and amms spoke smilingly.)

Am: Mujhe pata tha tum dono haan hi bologe.. maine pandit ji se baat kar li hai.. unhone 1 bje ka time diya hai sagai ke liye.. toh ab nandu ke birthday ki puja 11 bje hogi taaki hamein thoda time mil jaye preparations keliye.. toh birthday ki puja 11 bje aur tumhari sagai 1 bje.. (All smiled widely and Chachi panicked listening this.)

CHACHI: Hey bhagwaan itni jaldi sab tyari kaise hogi? (Manik tried to calm chachi.)

M: Chachi sab ho jayega.. ap tension mat lo.. main decorators ko bol deta hoon.. vo aa jayenge abhi..

CHACHA: Nhi tum kaise beta.. ye toh hamein karna hai..

M: Kya keh rahe ho chacha ap.. Ye mera ghar nhi hai kya aur hum mein koi farq thodi hai.. main beta hoon apka..

CHACHI: Acha thk h tu bolde..

CHACHA: Aur main rishabh ko saath le jakar mithayi vagarah le aata hoon.. (Manik immediately spoke being concerned about rishabh.)

M: Rishabh ko kyun uthana.. subah se thak gaya hai bechara.. bachha hai.. usse sone dijiye.. main chalta hoon apke saath..

CHACHA: Nhi beta tumhe bhi toh tyaari karni hogi aur vaise bhi agar rishabh ko pata chala na ki uski didi ki sagai hai aur humne usse tyaari karne ke liye nhi jagaya toh bhut gussa karega.. (Manik smiled and spoke.)

M: Acha thk hai.. (Chachi remembered something and spoke.)

CHACHI: Hey bhagwaan.. hamein ladke walon ko dene ke liye shagun bhi toh chahiye.. itni jaldi sab kharidari kaise hogi.. (Manik spoke lovingly.)

M: Chachi.. mujhe sirf angel chahiye aur kuch nhi.. (Chachi spoke teasing MaNan.)

CHACHI: Pata hai hamein.. tumhe aur tumhari angel ko kuch dino ke liye agar hum ek room mein band kar de... toh bhi tum hassi khushi jee loge bina khaane ke bhi.. bas tumhari angel ka hansta huya chehra tumhare saamne hona chahiye.. (Nandini blushed and hugged chachi and spoke.)

N: Kya chachi ap bhi na.. (Chachi hugged her back and then broke the hug and spoke lovingly to manik cupping nandini face.)

CHACHI: Beta.. ye hamari ek lauti beti hai.. hamare bhi kuch sapne hain.. hamein pura karne de unhe.. Pls.. (Nandini smiled with tears in her eyes and Manik also smiled and spoke.)

M: Ji thk hai.. fir main bhi chalta hoon.. mom dad ko bhi ye news deni hai aur maine bhi toh bhut saari tyaariyan karni hai..

CHACHI: Okay..

(Manik came towards nandini and pecked her forehead and took blessings from all and then went to his place.)

(Manik went and then amms spoke emotionally with tears in her eyes caressing nandini hairs.)

Am: Pata hi nhi chala ki nandu kab itni badi ho gayi.. (Nandini with tears hugged amms.)

N: Amms.. (Chachi wiped nandini tears and spoke.)

CHACHi: Shh.. Bas 15 minute ka raasta hai yahan se malhotra mansion ka.. Jab dil karega hum aa jayenge.. hai na.. (Nandini smilingly nodded.)

N: Ji.. (Amms spoke lovingly.)

Am: Aur nandu ki dress aur jewellery ki toh koi tension hi nhi hai.. main apne saath nandu ki amma ki shaadi ki saree aur jewellery layi thi.. socha tha aj birthday par isse gift karungi.. par mujhe kya pata tha aj itne ache occasion par vo kaam aa jayegi.. Pehnegi na? (Nandini spoke widely with happy tears and spoke.)

N: Bilkul pehnungi na.. Pata hai amms.. jab main chotti thi na.. main amma ko kaha karti thi ki main unki shaadi ka joda hi pehnungi apni sagai par aur dekho aj mere dil ki baat puri kar di apne.. Thanku.. (With this she hugged amms and they did a family hug.)

(Manik went to his place and told everything to his parents. First, they were so happy and then panicked that how they will do all arrangements in short span of time but manik calmed them. Then he told them that nandini is going to live with them and they became so excited to have nandini with them for forever.. Manik called his friends and told them all this. They all became so happy.) (Cabir went to chacha to do all the shopping fulfilling his role as a brother.) (Navya and mukti went to help chachi and amms.) (Mukti and Cabir parents went to malhotra mansion to help them. Harshad, dhruv and alya also went there where manik was ignoring alya..) (For manik, only nandini is important.. All were doing arrangements for manan engagement and manik was getting everything ready for nandini arrival in their home and was planning for nandini's birthday. He has asked mukti to pack nandini bags and all her important stuff which she want in their home and told her that he want to take rishabh also with them.)

(All got ready and then went to nandini home for her birthday puja. Amms and other welcomed them. All wished nandini once again and then pandit ji called nandini for puja. Nandini came towards manik and spoke lovingly.)

N: Chalo mani.. (Manik was hesitant because of amms.)

M: Par? (Nandini spoke lovingly.)

N: Main tumhare bina adhoori hoon toh fir tumhare bina meri ye puja kaise puri ho sakti hai.. (Manik smiled widely listening to her and then they both sat for puja.) (Then pandit ji asked nandini to serve prashad to god and took his blessings. Nandini took two sweets and forwarded one to aiyappa and one to manik and then took blessings of both surprising manik the most.)

M: Angel yeh? (Nandini spoke lovingly.)

N: Kya.. Jaise tumhare liye sabse pehle main hoon.. tumhare parents.. tumhara bhagwaan.. ussi tarah tum bhi mere liye sabse pehle ho.. tum sirf mere amma-appa nhi ho mere liye.. mere bhagwaan bhi ho.. I am thankful to aiyappa for giving you to me.. and I am thankful to you for always being there for me.. mere liye tum aur aiyappa bilkul ek jaise ho.. you both will always protect me.. always fulfill my all wishes.. I will always come to you both for sharing my heart.. I will always be thankful to you both.. Toh huye na tum dono barabar.. (Manik has slight tears in her eyes. He lovingly pecked nandini's forehead.) (Then nandini distributed prasad to everyone and took their blessings and all gave her birthday gifts.)

(Then both manik and nandini went to change in their engagement outfit.)

(Manik came looking all handsome and was waiting for his angel to come. She came looking all beautiful in saree and stood beside manik. Manik holded her hand and spoke lovingly making nandini blush.)

M: You are looking beautiful like an angel.. my angel.. (Nandini smiled looking at manik and spoke.)

N: U are also looking very handsome..

M: Thanku.. (Manik turned to chachi and asked for some thing.)

M: Chachi.. (Chachi brought the glass container in which a beautiful flower was there looking all fresh.) (Nandini got the idea and asked manik with happy teras.)

N: Mani.. yeh?

M: Yes.. ye hai amma-appa ki blessings.. (Chachi smiled and spoke.)

CHACHI: Manik ne mujhe isse sambhalne ke liye kaha tha.. Kehne laga ki chachi isse roz PaNi dena taki ye sukhe nhi.. ye meri amaanat hai apke paas.. aur time aane par main isse apse le jayunga.. Ye amma-appa ki blessings hain isse sambhal kar rakhna.. (Nandini smiled with happy tears looking at manik and immediately hugged him who hugged her back tightly.)

N: Thanku mani.. (Manik broke the hug and pecked nandini forehead and spoke lovingly.)

M: Maine isse isliye yahan rakhwaya hai taki tumhe lage ki amma-appa yahin hai hamare paas aur vo hamari engagement dekh rahe hain aur hamein amma-appa ki blessings bhil mil sakein.. (Then he turned towards chachi and spoke.)

M: Chachi.. main jaate waqt isse apne saath le jayunga aur vahan hamare ghar mein laga dunga taki angel ke aane se pehle amma-appa ki blessings vahan pahunch jayein.. Thanku isse sambhaal ke rakhne ke liye.. (Chachi smiled and place the container at the stool.)

(Then MaNan exchanged the rings. Nandini put the ring on his ring finger. Manik took promise ring out and put it on different finger and put the engagement ring on ring finger and pecked her knuckles and spoke.)

M: Kaha tha na bhut jald iss finger mein engagement ring hogi hamare pyaar ki nishaani ke roop mein.. (Nandini smiled widely. All clapped for them and then came to congratulate them.) (All elders blessed them and gave them gifts and then now, its time for youngsters.)

R: Congratulations di.. Congratulations jiju..

M: Thanku champ.. (Rishabh teased manik.)

R: Ab toh main jiju bol sakta hoon na.. (Rishabh and Manik both laughed.)

N: Jiju ke bachhe.. tujhe bhi sab pehle se pata tha na?

R: Yes.. bilkul..

N: Haww.. Aur tune bhi mujhe kuch nhi bataya..

M: Kyunki rishabh meri side hai.. Kyun rishabh?

R: Bilkul.. (Nandini made a cute pout.. Then both manik and rishabh hugged nandini making nandini smile.)

M: Hehe.. we are kidding.. we all are on each other side.. (They broke the hug and manik spoke.)

M: Acha rishabh sunn.. kal tu bhi hamare saath chal raha hai... Tu hamara bachha hai aur ab hamare saath hi rahega.. Maine designer ko bol diya hai.. tu usse bata dena ki tujhe kaisa room design karwana hai.. Thk hai?

CHACHI: Manik.. pls rishabh ko yahin rehne do..

M: Par?

CHACHI: Dekho.. tum nandu ko toh le ja hi rahe ho.. ab rishabh ko bhi saath le jaoge toh hamara ghar toh bilkul suna ho jayega.. hamare ghar ki raunak toh inse hi hai.. Aur vaise bhi yahan se 15 minute ka hi toh raasta hai.. rishabh aata-jata rahega..

M: Lekin..

R: Haan jiju pls.. main bhi yahin rehna chahta hoon.. Chacha-Chachi ne humesha mujhe maa-baap jaisa pyaar diya.. ab main yahan rehkar unke bête hone ka farz nibhana chahta hoon.. Pls.. (Nandini got tears seeing her baby brother all big now. She holded manik's hand and asked him to agree. Manik also smiled seeing rishabh all mature and agreed but still told rishabh his importance.)

M: Acha thk hai.. par fir bhi main tera room vahan banwa raha hoon taki jab bhi tera dil chahe vahan rehne ka toh tu vahan ruk sake.. vo tera hi ghar hai.. samjha.. Aur yaad rakhna tu mera beta hai.. jab bhi tujhe mujhse koi baat share karni ho.. mere se baat karne ka mann kare.. mere paas aa jana ya mujhe phone kar lena.. main aa jayunga.. Agar mujhse koi kaam ho ya fir tujhe koi cheez chahiye ho toh never hesitate.. jhat se mujhe phone kar lena aur haq se kuch bhi maang lena.. uske liye tujhe kisi ki permission ki zarurat nhi hai.. teri did ki bhi nhi.. Thk hai? (Rishabh smiled and spoke.)

R: Ji.. (Nandini smiled seeing their bond.) (Then other came to congratulate them with sweets and gifts..)

H: Congratulations manik.. nandini meri chotti behen jaisi hai.. iska humesha khayal rakhna.. (Manik smilingly nodded his head and nandini smiled and spoke.)

M: Alya.. pls.. I need some time.. Tumne kal gusse mein hi sahi lekin bhut kuch bol diya.. Agar mere baare mein kaha hota toh koi problem nhi thi but tumne angel ke bare mein kaha hai and main vo itni jaldi bhul nhi sakta so I need time to forget all that.. Pls understand..

A: I understand manik and u are right at your place.. so its okay.. (Alya moved from there and nandini holded manik hand to calm him.)

N: Mani.. It's okay.. She was hurt that's why she would have said all that.. (Manik smiled slightly tightening the hold on her hand assuring her and spoke.)

M: I know.. I just need some time.. U don't worry.. relax.. I am fine..

N: Are you sure? (Manik smiled with heart.)

M: Yes..

N: Okay.. (Then navya came forward and teased manik.)

NA: Bhut-bhut badhaai ho manik jiju? (Manik became shocked and nandini chuckled looking at manik's face.)

M: What? Jiju?

NA: Ab nandini meri best friend hai toh vo meri behen jaisi huyi na.. toh rishte se ap huye na mere jiju.. (Manik immediately spoke being scared.)

M: Navya.. dekho tum pls mujhe jiju mat bulao.. Rishabh bulata hai it's okay.. but tum bolo toh.. it's weird.. I mean hum almost same age ke hain.. zyada difference nhi hai.. and also tum college mein agar mujhe jiju bologi toh I will be embarrassed... so pls.. Aisa lag raha hai ki tumhare saamne pata nhi main kitna budha ho gaya hoon.. (All laughed listening to him and then navya spoke relaxing him.)

NA: Hahaha.. It's okay.. I was just kidding.. (Manik sighed in relief.)

M: Thank god.. (Then dhruv came forward.)

M: Thanks buddy.. (Then mukti and cabir came forward.)

MU: Tera naatak hum baad mein sunenge.. abhi tu hamari baat sunn.. aur dhyan se sunio.. (Manik sighed and spoke.)

M: Bolo meri angel ke bhai aur behen aur mere sale-sahab aur sali-sahiba..

MU: Wow.. it sounds cool.. Nhi cabir?

C: Sahi mein yr..

C: Acha don't distract us.. and listen to us..

M: Haan bolo.. (Then they both spoke warning manik.)

C: Meri doll ko humesha khush rakhna.. agar ye teri wajah se hurt huyi ya iski aankhon mein ek bhi aansun aaya na toh dekh lena..

MU: Haan meri chotti jo maange uski har wish puri karna chahe raat ke 2 bje hi kyun na vo koi wish kare samjha.. nhi toh yaad hai na lady bheem hoon main.. kyun chotti? (Nandini hugged both of them.)

N: Thanku guys.. I love you both a lot..

C/MU: We love you too.. (They broke the hug to see manik smiling at their bond.)

C: Oye.. ye kya smile kar raha hai.. jawaab de..

M: I promise teri doll ko humesha khush rakhunga aur teri chotti ki har ek wish puri karunga..

C/MU: Good.. (Then both spoke dramatically.)

C: Chal ab hamare friend banne ki bari..

MU: Yes.. (Nandini chuckled seeing this.)

M: Kitna drama karte ho tum dono..

C: Tu chup kar.. (Cabir and mukti spoke lovingly about manik.)

C: Doll.. chahe ye thoda pagal hai.. impulsive hai.. par dil ka bhut acha hai aur tujhse bhut pyaar karta hai.. humesha khush rakhna isse..

MU: Haan.. humesha hamari khushi ke baare mein sochta rehta hai... humesha dusron ki fikar rehti hai isse lekin apni nhi.. iska humesha khayal rakhna.. sirf hamara dost nhi hai ye.. bhai bhi hai..

C: Bilkul.. (Manik got tears listening their words. Nandini spome smilingly.)

N: I promise tumhare dost cum bhai ko humesha khush rakhungi aur iska bhut khayal rakhungi.. (Manik hugged both and spoke.)

M: Kya yr.. tum dono ne emotional kar diya... (They broke the hug when amms call them for lunch.)

Am: Chalo bachon ab khana khalo.. (They all sat and nandini was sitting beside manik.)

Am: Pehle manik nandu ko khaana khilayega aur fir nandu manik ko.. (Manik feeded nandini and youngsters hooted making them blush especially nandini. Though they have feed each other in front of them friends but feeding each other in front of elders make them blush and also the new relation of engagement gave them jitters. Then, nandini feeded manik and again youngsters tease them.)

(With teasing and having fun, they completed the lunch. Mukti and Cabir gave nandini a lot of gifts for her birthday. Even manik too gave her gifts. He actually made her feel like a princess. Then all danced and enjoyed a lot.)

(Manik has planned a surprise for nandini.. so they thought to call the day off and after bidding bye all went to their respective home except manik.)

N: MaNan? (Manik smiled and spoke.)

M: Yes.. Manik ka Ma and Nandini ka Nan.. MaNan which bind us together and this infinity symbol represent our forever.. so.. MaNan=Together Forever.. (Nandini smiled widely and spoke.)

N: Its beautiful mani.. (Then they both made each other wear the bracelet.)

N: Ye lo.. ye appa ka pen hai.. (Manik took it from her and became excited to hear that it's appa's pen.)

M: Appa ka pen? (Nandini spoke emotionally.)

N: Yes.. pata hai ye unka favourite pen tha.. unhone apne life ke sabhi important decisions issi se liye hain.. har ek important paper issi se sign kiya hai.. it was lucky for him aur fir maine bhi yahi kiya.. maine apna har ek important paper issi se sign kiya and it was always best for me.. Ab main ye tumhe de rahi hoon.. ab se tum bhi jab bhi koi important decision lo.. koi deal sign karo.. toh issi se karna.. dekhna it will always prove fruitful for you... (Manik immediately hugged nandini and spoke emotionally.)

M: Acha chalo abhi go and change.. (Nandini went to change and then came and manik made her lay on the bed.)

M: No.. u have to.. abhi 4 baj rahe hain go and sleep.. maine tumhare mobile mein alarm set kar diya hai 5:30 ka.. so wake up at 5:30 and then get ready.. I will come to pick you up by 6:30.

N: Par kyun? Kahan jana hai? (Manik spoke excitedly.)

N: Par tumne itne sare gifts diye toh..

M: Haan.. par abhi aur bhut saare baki hain.. so now rest and tumhari dress tum tak pahunch jayegi.. sleep now..

(With this manik made nandini sleep and then came down and took blessings of elders and then took nandini bags and glass container with him. He went to his home and arranged all the clothes and other things of nandini himself. He doesn't want any servant help to arrange things for his princess. He also has arranged a whole new wardrobe for nandini. He also planted that flower in his garden in such a way that it was directly visible from manik's room window. He also put the board there (Amma-Appa). He gave water to the plant and then changed his clothes for the surprise and then came to nandini place with a lot of gifts. Keeping them in nandini's room.. he moved downstairs and went to meet someone.)

(Nandini got up and was surprised to see her room filled with number of gifts... flowers, chocolates, dresses, watch, teddy-bear, beautiful cushions, etc. and a banner stating "Happy Birthday Princess". She loved all the gifts. She got a note with a teddy bear.)

(Nandini kissed the note and then put it safely in her purse and got ready and manik called her to come outside. Nandini came downstairs and after bidding bye to everyone came outside. Manik came towards her and pecked her forehead and spoke lovingly.)

M: U are looking beautiful like an angel from heaven.. my princess..

N: Thanku.. U are looking handsome too..

M: Thanku.. Chalein? (They sat in the car. Manik holded nandini hand in his one hand and with other, he was driving. They came to malhotra mansion, got down and then moved to malhotra mansion terrace.) (Nandini was surprised to see a chopper there and asked manik after they sat inside it.)

N: Hum chopper se kahan ja rahe hain? Aur ye kiska chopper hai?

M: Ye dad ka hai.. aur hum tumhare surprise ke liye ja rahe hain..

N: Batao na kahan? (Manik smiled and spoke.)

M: Jaan.. surprise ka matlab kya hota hai.. (Nandini huffed and spoke.)

N: Okay.. I got it.. Kal maine kuch nhi bola toh aj tum bhi kuch nhi bologe.. (Manik took nandini in the hug and spoke.)
