Okay.. so earlier I have not planned this whole Manik and V conversation.. but one of my reader asked me that what if V had entered Manik life before Nandini or what if Manik and V were dating from the starting and since Manik has crush on her.. then how the story would have unfolded..

Hey dear.. since you don't want me to disclose your name., so okay first of all sorry., you wanted me to write an another story on this concept.. that if from starting V and Manik were dating.. then how MaNan would have become together .. but since I don't have time to write one more story.. so just as a compensation.. I am giving my view on this in the form of this conversation..

And a request to all my readers.. I know many of you are writers too.. so if any of you wanted to write on this concept.. please write.. in fact., I myself would love to read this new concept..

So now coming to the chapter

V: Chalo manik..

M: Arey par kahan.. Acha ab bolo.. (They came aside and then Manik asked.) (V got nervous.)

V: Vo samajh nhi aa raha ki kaise kahun.. I mean..

M: V .. we  were best friends.. U don't have to hesitate.. tell me.. (V hugged Manik and spoke.)

V: Vo.. I love you.. (Manik spoke being shocked.)

M: What?

V: Yes.. Tum jante nhi kabse taras rahi hoon main ye kehne ke liye.. I know I am the only one who rejected your proposal but tab mujhe realise nhi huya tha but tumhare jaane ke baad I realised how much I love you.. I wanted to come and tell you but tab alya tumhare saath thi.. Jab mujhe uske accident ka pata chala.. that time also I wanted to come but tab daadi ki tabiyat kharab ho gayi.. Jab vo thk huye toh dad bimar ho gaye.. fir hamari financial condition kharab ho gayi.. kuch na kuch hota hi gaya.. toh main aa nhi payi.. but finally today I am here and I am so happy that finally we can be together.. I love you so much.. (She kissed his heart over the fabric. Manik fisted his hands tightly. He immediately broke the hug and made some distance between them and spoke straightly.)

M: Par main tumse pyaar nhi karta..

V: What?

M: Haan yahi sach hai.. Infact maine tumse kabhi pyaar kiya hi nhi aur sach kahun toh tum bhi mujhse pyaar nhi karti..

V: Ye tum kya Bol rahe ho? Ohh.. acha tum badla le rahe ho na.. Maine bhi tab tumhe na bola tha aur aj tum vahi kar rahe ho mujhse badla lene ke liye.. Koi baat nhi.. Its okay.. Le liya na tumne apna badla.. kar liya na hisaab barabar.. Ab stop all this.. I know tum aj bhi mujhse pyaar karte ho..

M: Nhi V.. tum galat soch rahi ho.. Aisa kuch bhi nhi hai.. (Manik sighed and spoke.)

M: V.. maine tumse kabhi pyaar nhi kiya.. vo sirf ek likeness thi.. ek teenage crush.. that's it.. aur tum bhi mujhse pyaar nhi karti.. main sirf tumhari ek habit ban gaya tha jisse tum pyaar samajh baithi ho.. (V spoke with tears in her eyes.)

V: Kam se kam mere pyaar ko ek habit ka naam dekar uska apmaan toh mat karo..

M: Main sach keh raha hoon V..

M: Haan.. main tumhe like karta tha but it was due to your nature.. tum hum sab se alag thi.. humesha hamara khayal rakhti thi.. I was attracted towards your kind nature aur upar se tum meri sabse pehli dost thi and you were my best friend.. so all those things made me propose you.. that's it.. iss se zyada aur kuch nhi.. main tumse pyaar nhi karta tha.. (V spoke terry eyed.)

V: Kaash maine tumhe uss din mana na kia hota toh aj hum ek saath hote aur tum mujhse pyaar karte..

M: Haan hum shayad aj saath hote par pyaar kabhi nhi hota V.. Shayad hum usse pyaar ka naam de zarur dete par vo sacha pyaar kabhi nhi hota.. Tum khud socho V.. agar main tumse pyaar karta toh kya kabhi tumhari baat nhi manta.. tumne kitni baar mujhe sudhaarne ki koshish ki.. kitni baar kaha ki don't do pranks with others, don't disrespect anyone par maine kabhi tumhari baat nhi suni.. kabhi tumhari baat nhi maani.. agar main tumse pyaar karta toh I would have tried to be like the way you want.. Ap jisse pyaar karte ho na ap uski nazar mein best hona chahte ho.. par maine kabhi bhi tumhare liye aisa kuch nhi kiya..

M: Aur tum hi socho V ki agar main tumse pyaar karta toh kya main aise hi tumhe jaane deta jab tumne mujhe mana kiya.. kya main ek baar bhi koshish nhi karta tumhe paane ki.. tumhe manane ki.. par maine aisa kuch nhi kiya.. because it was never love.. it was just liking towards you and your nature.. that's it.. Aur toh aur tum khud socho jab hum takleef mein hote hain toh hum sabse pehle uss insaan ko yaad karte hain jiss se hum pyaar karte hain.. u know all these years I was in so much guilt.. par mujhe kabhi tumhari yaad nhi aayi.. aur yahi sach hai ki I never loved you..

M: Aur raha sawaal hamare saath hone ka toh.. V agar tum tab mana nhi karti toh yes shayad aj hum saath hote lekin sirf tab tak jab tak hamein hamara sacha pyaar nhi mil jata ya fir tab tak jab tak we haven't realized ki we don't love each other.. that'sit... V, jab hum ek dusre ki kismat mein likhe hi nhi the toh hum zyada der tak saath reh hi nhi sakte the.. jab hamara sacha pyaar hamare saamne aata toh hum alag ho hi jate aur ye hi sach hai..

V: Accepted.. tumne jo kaha vo sab maana.. par mera kya.. main itne saalon se tumse pyaar kar rahi hoon.. uska kya..

M: Nhi V.. tum mujhse pyaar nhi karti.. main bas tumhari ek aadat ban gaya tha jo jab tumse dur huya toh tum usse pyaar samajh baithi.. Among all our friends tum sabse zyada mere close thi because we were friends from the longest time.. tum apni har baat mujhse share karti thi aur jab main tumse dur huya toh tumhare paas aur koi nhi tha jiss se tum apni baat share kar sako.. tum mujhe miss karne lagi aur tum usse pyaar samajh baithi.. that's it.. tum khud hi socho agar tum mujhse pyaar karti toh kya ek baar bhi mere paas aane ki koshish nhi karti..

V: I tried par situations aise ho gaye the ki..

M: I accept ki situations aise the.. pehle dadi aur fir uncle.. thk hai tum mere paas nhi aa sakti thi.. par kam se kam mujhe phone toh kar hi sakti thi na atleast ye janne ke liye hi ki main kaisa hoon.. thk hoon ya nhi.. kam se kam ek phone.. maine apna number change nhi kiya tha.. par tumne kabhi phone nhi kiya.. aur kisi rishte se na sahi par ek friend ke naate toh kar hi sakti thi.. kam se kam tum tab toh phone kar hi sakti thi when you came to know that how hurt and guilty I was after that accident but you never called.. not even once..

M: V, jab hum kisi se pyaar karte hain na toh hum uss insaan ko taklif mein nhi dekh sakte aur agar hamein pata ho na ki vo insaan takleef mein hai toh bas hum kisi bhi tarah uske paas hona chahte hain taki uska dard baant sakein.. usse sambhal sakein...uska dard kisi tarah kuch kam kar sakein.. but you never tried.. not even a single phone call.. tum mujhe pyaar nhi karti V.. tumne mujhse kabhi pyaar kiya hi nhi.. aur yahi sach hai aur jitni jaldi tum isse maanlo utna hi tumhare liye acha hoga.. (V took few minutes but she was understanding Manik.)

V: I guess you are right.. I am understanding your point..

M: V.. tum meri bhut achi dost ho.. main tumhe khona nhi chahta as a friend.. so pls ye sab bhul jao and move on..

V: Hmm.. you are right but I need some alone time to accept all this.. I think I should get going..

M: Par?

V: Nhi manik..Pls.. I want to be alone for some time..

M: Okay.. if you say so.. par itni raat tum jaogi kahan?

V: Main apni cousin ke ghar ruki hoon.. vahin ja rahi hoon..

M: Okay.. (V smiled and spoke.)

V: Aur haan.. I know ki you have found your true love.. varna mera friend manik itna toh  mature tha hi nhi.. She has changed you a lot and changed you for good.. I can see the true happiness and peace in your eyes.. she is special.. never let her go.. (Manik smiled widely and spoke.)

M: I will never.. She means everything to me..

V: Hai kaun vo? (Manik spoke with love in his eyes.)

M: My angel.. my love.. my soulmate.. Nandini

V: Wow.. She is truly an angel.. Congratulations..

M: Thanku.. I wish you also found your true love soon..

V: I hope so.. Chalo main chalti hoon.. Bye.

M: Bye.. (V went outside and Nandini saw her going and then Nandini came towards Manik and asked him.)

N: Kya huya? Vo aise kyun chali gayi?

M: Vo.. (Then he narrated all the talk except the part where he confessed his love for nandini and that kiss on heart part.)

M: Toh she needed some time and she left..

N: It's okay mani.. Don't worry.. she will come around.. She need some time.. she will understand.. And don't be guilty tumne bilkul thk kiya that you cleared everything between both of you.. ab kal ko koi misunderstanding nhi hogi.. okay..

M (thinking in his mind): Ab tumhe kaise samjhayun angel ki main guilty aur sad isliye hoon because V kissed over my heart though through shirt only but still she did.. and it's only your right..

N: Chalo ab apna mood thk karo.. Pls..

M: Hmm..

N: Pls.. for me... (Then nandini hugged manik and lovingly pecked his heart slowly so that he didn't realize but he did realize. She did that to calm him but unknowingly she gave him his peace back and removed his guilt.) (Manik hugged her tightly and  smilingly and lovingly pecked her forehead.) (All their friends came there and they broke the hug.)

C: Hey guys..

C: Yr.. kya party rakhi hai tune doll.. It's all amazing..

MU: Sach mein.. maza aa gaya.. And meeting all the friends after so long time.. it was beautiful..

C: True that..

D: Vaise someone told me ki V bhi aayi hai.. par vo dikh nhi rahi..

MU: Kya? OMG.. V ayi hai.. kahan hai?

N: Guys.. vo usse kuch kaam aa gaya.. toh usse jaldi mein jana pada..

D: What? All okay na?

N: Haan.. vo uske dad ki call aa gayi thi.. toh bas isliye..

MU: Oh.. it's okay.. bhut time se usse mile nhi tht toh bas isliye.. koi nee.. fir kabhi.. vaise chotti tune sab itne ache se arrange kiya hai na ki maza aa gaya..

N: Agar aisa hai toh chalo jakar dance karo.. itna acha dj hai.. hehe..

C: Haan.. haan chalo.. Chal Manik..

M: Chalo angel..

N: Chalo..

M Dad: Nandini beta aana zara..

N: Ji uncle.. Tum log chalo main abhi aayi.. (All nodded and Nandini went away.) (They waited for Nandini and then Manik started going to see Nandini.)

C: Arey.. tu kahan chala?

M: Vo angel ko dekhne.. pata nhi kahan reh gayi..

MU: Chal hum bhi saath chalte hain..

M: Chalo..

M: Lo vo rahi angel.. chachi ke paas..

CHACHI: Nandu, ye ring daal kar dekh..

N: Iski kya zarurat thi chachi..

CHACHI: Kyun zarurat nhi thi.. meri beti hai tu.. kya main tujhe gift nhi de sakti..

N: Mera matlab vo nhi tha chachi.. acha laiye dijiye..

N: Chachi.. ye toh bhut sundar hai.. Ahh.. (Chachi got worried and asked her.)

CHACHI: Kya huya..

N: Chachi.. ye zara tight hai.. (All friends came there and Manik spoke.)

M: Kya ho raha hai?

N: Vo chachi mere liye ye ring layi hai.. vahi try kar rahi hoon..

M: Kya baat hai chachi.. birthday mera hai aur gift angel ko diya ja raha hai.. very bad..

CHACHI: Acha bachoo.. tumhe toh gift mil gaya na toh ab nandu ki baari hai..

M: Par birthday toh mera hai toh iske liye gift kyun?

CHACHI: Vo.. (Before chachi could speak, Nandini cut her in between.)

N: Arey.. kyun ka kya matlab? Chachi ko ye mere liye pasand ayi toh vo le ayi.. gift dene ke liye koi occasion ka hona zaruri thodi hai.. kyun chachi? (Chachi understood her and spoke.)

CHACHI: Haan bilkul..

M: Okay.. (Nandini was trying to wear the ring but it was tight.)

N: Ahh.. (All immediately became worried listening her pain and Manik immediately asked her.)

M: Kya huya angel.. tum thk ho na?

N: Haan mani.. I am okay.. vo bas ye ring thodi tight hai..

M: Tum bhi na.. agar iss mein tight hai toh dusri finger mein daal lo.. lao idhar dikhao mujhe.. (Manik took the ring out from that finger and put it on Nandini ring finger and spoke lovingly.)

M: Ye dekho.. kitni beautiful lag rahi hai iss finger mein.. (Nandini was shocked seeing that and Navya spoke shocked.)

NA: Hey matarani.. ye kya kar diya tumne manik.. (Manik asked being confused.)

M: Huh? Angel ko ring pehnayi.. bas.. tum aise kyun react kar rahi ho?

NA: Tumhe pata bhi hai tumne abhi kya kiya hai?

M: Tum kehna kya chahti ho.. saaf-saaf bolo..

NA: Jis finger mein tumne ring penayi hai iss mein engagement ring pehnayi jati hai because is finger ki nass sidhe dil se judi hoti hai.. ye pyaar ki nishaani hoti hai.. (Manik smiled widely listening to Navya and asked excitedly.)

M: Sachi.. (Seeing his excitement, Nandini spoke shocked.)

N: Huh? (Manik controlled himself and spoke.)

M: I.. Vo.. vo.. I mean.. haan.. Aise thodi hota hai navya?

NA: Arey ye sach hai.. hai na chachi?

CHACHI: Haan.. sach toh hai.. (Manik ke toh mann mein laddu futta..)

M: Aise kaise.. iska matlab ki meri aur angel ki engagement ho gayi abhi.. Angel tum kuch bolo na..

N: Huh? (Manik asked innocently.)

M: Hamari engagement ho gayi kya? (Nandini somehow controlled her emotions and spoke looking everywhere except Manik.)

N: Nhi mani.. ye sab bas kehne ki baatein hoti hai.. Aisa nhi hota aur tumhe iss bare mein pata thodi tha.. tumne toh galti se ye ring pehna di.. it's okay..

N: Acha main abhi aayi.. thodi si preparations dekh loon.. (Nandini moves from there and then Chachi went behind Nandini.)

CHACHI: Main bhi aayi..

M: Ji..

NA: Manik.. main sach keh rahi hoon.. aisa hota hai.. (Manik smiled widely and spoke.)

M: Arey toh main kahan mana kar raha hoon.. Agar aisa hota hai toh I am the happiest bas angel se sunn na hai ab.. Main bas abhi aaya..

C: Ye toh pura majnu ban gaya hai..

MU: Totally.. chalo hum yahan kya kar rahe hain.. dance karte hain..

D: Yes..

(Chachi stopped Nandini and asked her.)

CHACHI: Tu thk hai na? (Nandini spoke looking here and there.)

N: Haan chachi mujhe kya hoga.. Kya keh rhi ho ap bhi..

CHACHI: Tu  bhi janti hai ki main kya keh rahi hoon.. manik ne jo tujhe abhi ring pehnai..

N: Chachi.. vo toh usne anjane mein pehna di.. bas..

CHACHI: Acha.. toh utar de usse.. abhi tak pehni kyun huyi hai.. La main utarun.. (Before Chachi could touch her hand, Nandini immediately took her hand away from her reach.)

N: Chachi..

CHACHI: Kya huya utar kyun nhi rahi?

N: Nhi.. vo.. (Chachi smiled and spoke.)

CHACHI: Main batati hoon kyunki tu bhi janti hai ki jo navya ne kaha vo sach hai aur tu manik se bhut pyaar karti hai.. (Nandini spoke being shocked.)

N: Chachi..

CHACHI: Kya main nhi janti ki tune bachpan se lekar aj tak jab se tujhe iss baat ka pata chala hai.. tune iss finger mein koi ring nhi pehni.. tu humesha kaha karti thi ki iss finger mein toh main sirf Meri engagement ring hi pehnungi aur vo bhi sirf uske naam ki jisse main pyaar karungi aur sirf vahi mujhe pehnayega jo mujhe apni jaan se zyada pyaar karega aur jisse main dil se pyaar karungi aur main janti hoon ki tu manik se bhut pyaar karti hai.. maine teri aankhon mein dekha hai uske liye pyaar aur main janti hoon vo bhi tujhse bhut pyaar karta hai.. (Nandini sighed and accepted.)

N: Haan chachi.. main bhut pyaar karti hoon mani se.. par uske baare mein nhi keh sakti..

CHACHI: Meri baat maan vo bhi tujhse bhut pyaar karta hai.. Maine uski aankhon mein dekha hai tere liye pyaar..

N: Janti hoon chachi.. par main usse kisi cheez ke liye force nhi karna chahti.. mere liye uski khushiyan bhut mayne rakhti hain.. jab tak vo khud aakar mujhe nhi kehta ki vo mujhse pyaar karta hai.. main usse apne dil ki baat nhi batayungi..

CHACHI: Thk hai jaisa tujhe thk lage.. Par tune usse ye engagement wali baat kyun nhi batayi?

N: Chachi.. usne jo kiya anjane mein kiya.. usse nhi pata tha iss bare mein aur main iski sachai batakar usse pareshaan nhi karna chahti thi.. vo khush hai.. usse bas khush rehne dijiye..

CHACHI: Par tu ye ring ka kya karegi? (Nandini spoke smiling widely while caressing the ring looking at it lovingly.)

N: Toh kya huya chachi ki usne ye ring mujhe anjane mein pehnayi par pehnayi toh hai na.. vo iske mayne nhi janta par main toh janti hoon na.. ye mere pyaar ki nishaani hai.. isse main humesha sambhal kar rakhungi.. hamara future hamein kahan le jayega ye toh main nhi janti par uski ye nishaani humesha mere saath rahegi.. ye nandini humesha apne manik ki banke rahegi..

CHACHI: Bhagwaan tum dono ko humesha khush aur ek dusre ke saath rakhein..

N: Chalein ab..

CHACHI: Chal.. (Both went from there but they didn't know that all their conversation was heard by Manik who spoke to himself with all the determination and love he has for Nandini.)

M: Kitna pyaar karogi angel mujhse? Sach mein tumhare pyaar ki koi hadd nhi hai.. humesha meri khushi ke bare mein sochti ho.. but I promise ki main bhi humesha tumhara hi banke rahunga and I know ki ab mujhe kya karna hai.. Ab waqt aa gaya hai ki main tumhe apne dil ki baat keh doon.. Abhi issi waqt toh nhi keh sakta because I will make that moment special for you par haan abhi tumse kuch waada toh kar hi sakta hoon.. tumhe kuch umeedein toh de hi sakta hoon.. apne pyaar ko uski manzil tak pahunchane ki ek raah toh de hi sakta hoon... (Manik smilingly moved towards nandini who was standing near dance floor and romantic song was being played. Manik went towards nandini and forwarded his hand asking nandini for a dance.)

M: Will you have a dance with me? (Nandini smiled and put her hand on his hand.)

N: With pleasure.. (Both were dancing softly when manik spoke.)

M: Angel?

N: Haan..

M: Ek baat puchun?

N: Pucho na..

M: Vo navya kya sach bol rahi thi ring ke baare mein?

N: Chodo na mani uss baat ko.. Ho gayi vo baat.. Ab bhul jao..

M: Pls btao na..

N: Tum toh jante ho na navya ko.. vo kuch bhi bolti rehti hai.. (Manik spoke with determination.)

M: Angel.. mujhe sach sunn na hai..

N: Par..

M: Tum bhi maanti ho na uss baat mein?

N: Mani.. iss sabse kya farq padta hai.. Tum ne vo sab anjaane mein kiya.. That's it.. Bhul jao ab..

M: Maine pucha tum bhi maanti ho na iss baat mein.. Sach bolo.. (Nandini sighed and spoke.)

N: Haan maanti hoon main.. (Manik asked with soft eyes.)

M: Toh tumne mujhse kuch bola kyun nhi?

N: Main kya bolti mani.. Jo huya anjane mein huya.. Tumhe nhi pata tha.. It's okay.. (Manik took her hand and spoke softly caressing her ring finger.)

M: Hmm.. Toh ye baat sach hai ki iss finger mein engagement ring dali jati hai? (Nandini spoke with excitement smiling widely.)

N: Haan.. kyunki iss finger ki nass sidhe dil si judi hoti hai.. isliye... aur ye pyaar ki nishaani hoti hai.. (Manik spoke with all the love in his eyes.)

M: I promise..

N: Huh?

M: I promise ki jald hi iss finger mein engagement ring hogi aur vo bhi uss insaan ke naam ki jiss se tum bhut pyaar karti ho aur jo tumse apni jaan se bhi zyaada pyaar karta hai.. (Nandini couldn't believe what she heard.. manik giving this promise to her was a sweet surprise for her.. )

N: Mani..

M: Yes.. tab tak ke liye tum isko meri promise ring samajh kar pehen lo.. My promise to you of our forever.. (A tear drop fall from nandini's eye. Manik wiped it gently and then firstly pecked her ring and then pecked her forehead lovingly and then took her in a warm hug and nandini smilingly hugged him back. Today manik has given her a hope... she is the happiest.. Then they moved their body at slow music.)
