Avoid mistakes if any.

Next day Manan were given leave from office as they need to look after their outfits and rings and other minute things and on top of it they need to leave for the journey next day so they need time to rest also.

Soon after breakfast Manik went to pick Nandini as they were supposed to select their rings and outfits for the engagement. But along with Nandini Ishita also tagged along as she needs to discuss things with Neyonika.

As soon as they reached the Mansion a set of people were already waiting for them. So Neyonika made them comfortable and then said

Ney: Nandini beta first of all you go and select your outfit so that we can decide the jewelry according to that and other things along with the outfit.. Jeweler is on his way also and so he would be here soon. This is Mansi and she is our family designer, she is here with her set of outfits and so you can select from them.. Till then the jewelr will also be here...

N: Aunty what do we wear according to our tradition over here... As soon as she said Aunty Ishita scolded her

Ishu: Gudiya you should not say Aunty anymore and start calling her maa.. As she said this Nandini just nodded

Ney: Are nahi Ishita ji, when she will be comfortable she will start calling this should not be forcefull.. Now come on go and select your outfit... and Nandini beta you can wear anything that you like or is comfortable, but I had worn a saree for my engagement, but our was a grand one na.. You can wear what you feel yourself comfortable in Ok bacha.

Nandini nodded but she decided that she would wear a saree only.

She went through sarees and would show it to them and finally she selected 5 sarees and asked them to select one from them. Neyonika asked Manik to select one from them saying this she and Ishita turned their faces to discuss something else.

Manik looked at each saree and then would touch them to see their material and then he stood up and try each on by keeping them on Nandini's shoulder as if visualizing how would it look on her. finally after good 30 mins he selected one from them and said that he like this one. Nandini without saying anything further showed the saree to Neyonika and Ishita for confirmation.

Ney: You both like it na then it is done.. Come now let us select the jewelry and their rings.

They asked the jeweler to show matching designs to the outfit, while beautiful rings. After good 1 hour they were done, so after that Ishita left from there while Neyonika asked them to join her for Lunch and they did..

Neyonika was telling the routine every member of the family follow, some of their special likes and dislikes.. She asked Nandini the same about her also.. Like this they completed their lunch and then she asked the couple to spend some time together. Saying this she left towards her room to take a small nap while Manik and Nandini went towards their's.

As soon as they entered the room Manik locked the door behind them, while he came and sat on the bed to accompany Nandini.

M: Wanna watch a movie..

N: I am fine with it.. But which one do you wanna see..

M: Wait let me see which movies are there in the laptop as the hard drive has crashed so we might have limited options..

Nandini nodded and then after a while Manik said.. Nandu there is only one movie that is good.. " Letters to juliet" (Guys this is a must watch movie.. It is damn amazing)

N: Yes then let us watch that movie na, I love that movie any way..

Manik agreed to her and soon he took it in a pen drive and started the movie on his TV screen..

Manik sat beside her and then pulled her more closer to him and both were watching the movie, sometimes they would talk about some scene and sometimes they would just kiss each other's cheeks and cuddle.

After a while Manik was a bit tired ad so he lied down in Nandini's lap while still watching the movie

But unknowingly Manik slept in her lap only, When the movie got over Nandini notice that Manik was asleep holding her hand tightly.. For sometime Nandini stayed in the same position, but then she very lightly freed her hand and went down to see if Neyonika and Mukti was there so that she can spend time with them also.

She carefully put Manik's head on the pillow and then covered him with the duvet and closing the door behind she went to downstairs only to be greeted by Mukti.

Mu: Are Bhabhi, when did you come..

N: Mukti I was to here from morning.. you were only not seen anywhere around..

Mu: Vo bhabhi I was with Alya, we were looking after some things for the engagement and along with that we were packing some gifts and all... Come we will catch up till then mom will also join us... By the way where is Bhai...

N: Vo he slept while we were watching the movie, so let him sleep.. Come..

Mukti and Nandini was catching up with each other and were talking and giggling when Neyonika came.

Ney: Are bacho why are you sitting here, and Nandini beta where is Manik

N: Maa vo Manik is sleeping, so I came down. I just met Mukti so we were talking and catching up...

Mu: Haan, now you both catch up till then I freshen up a bit as I am sweaty..

Saying this she went while Neyonika asked her

Ney: Bacha would you have some tea or coffee.. I am making for myself what shall I make for you..

N: Maa let me make you just accompany me ok. And I do not want to argue on this so you are coming with me and that is final.

Nandini said it in a sweet authoritative tone while Neyo gave in and both went to kitchen. Nandini was asking where the things are kept while both were having talks. After coffee was made both headed towards living room when Neyonika made Nandini sit beside her and then in a serious tone asked her

Ney: Bacha you are happy na with the happenings around, and most specific with this relationship.

Nandini held her hand with her free one and then assure her

N: Maa I am more than happy.

Ney: I am happy hearing it but are you comfortable with Manik around.

N: Maa I need to thank you for that, as you really raised him to become such a wonderful human being and on top of it he is so understanding and caring that I feel blessed that he came in my life..

Neyonika had happy tears because she always had her pride in Manik and hearing Nandini she felt that her pride was never wrong. She creased Nandini's cheeks and then said

Ney: My son is no less lucky bacha, you yourself are a beautiful soul and I am so happy that you have become part of our family.

Nandini held her hand and then both started talking about the siblings and how she managed when they were young and stuff like that..

Ney: Nandini beta, you should not fear about your career ok, we here are really happy that out Manik has someone who is as passionate about career as he is.. While you need to persuade your dreams, that would give immense happiness to us..

It was almost 6 in the evening so Neyonika asked her to go and wake up Manik while she would do the same for Mukti and then they all can spend some time together.

Nandini agreed and she left towards Manik's room, he was lying on his stomach with a sweet smile on his face. Nandini sat on the bed near his head and then started ruffling them lightly and started calling his name. But Manik was in deep slumber. It was always Neyonika who ruffle his hair and so even with opening his eye or giving a reply he shifted his head in her lap.

Nandini took a second to register what just happened and then she started nudging his shoulder..

N: Manik please wake up na.. It is almost evening. But Manik was in deep sleep..

Nandini started shaking him a bit now and then started again waking him up.. She did not want to break his sleep but she had to it has been a while he did not have anything. So she started waking him up when he finally moved in his sleep and opened his eyes only to see Nadnini.

M: Nandu what happened

N: Nothing Manik please get is it is almost 6 in the evening and maa is also calling you..

Manik again closed his eyes and said in a sleepy voice,

M: But I am damn sleepy na.

Nandini again ruffled his hair and then said

N: Then wake up my sleepy heady and freshen up.. Come down fast haan, I am going to be with maa..

Saying this she was about to stand up when Manik pulled her back and sat with a thud on his side. Manik immediately again kept his head in her lap and then while playing with her fingers said..

M: It is good to see your face when I open my eyes. saying this he kiss her cheeks and then run to the washroom to freshen up while Nandini blush on his this act..

His these gestures were silly but they conveyed a meaning that how much she matters to him now.. She smilingly went down after that..

After a while Manik join them and they all have a great time.. Manik dropped Nandini to her place while they did not stayed up till late as they are gonna leave early in the morning tomorrow.
