Double update drill is still on guys... really disappointed with how I am getting the response... so buck up guys...

Avoid mistakes if any...

Rest of the day passed in a giffy for both the families.. Both Neyonika and Ishita selected the outfits and all the shagun related things and then both headed home late in the evening. This shopping created a different bond amongst Ishita and Neyonika. They were not behaving like those typical samadhis and all..

While at Murty Industries and at Malhotra Industries all the important work for next day was being carried today.. the staff was a bit startled with it, but who has the power to intrude. But though the schedule was going quite hectic, but Manan did find to talk to each other through scattered messages.

Late in the evening all headed home, but for Manan things do not end there. Soon after dinner Neyonika went to Manik's room and Ishu towards Nandini.

Neyonika showed Manik the things that is to be gifted to Nandini and asked his opinion also. Manik had no idea about these stuff and he do not have too much of knowledge of Nandini's choice too.

While on the other side Ishita was asking Nandini to take trials of her outfit and also go through the gifts that are brought for Manik and see if something is to be added or deducted.

Nandini was tired but she did not complain and took the trial of her outfit as she knew that if some changes are to be done then they need to send it early as from afternoon some close friends and family would be coming. So her mother won't be having time and she would not be allowed to go out.

Ishita showed the other things that is to be given to Manik and Nandini like all of those. So she agreed on all of them. Ishita left her after that but not after reminding her to talk to Manik about engagement. Nandini agreed and then Ishita left.

Nandini decided to call Manik as it would be a much comfortable way, so she picked up the cell to call him when she received a call from him, Nandini smiled at it and then pick up the call.

N: Hey. I was gonna call you only..

M: Kyu?

N: Woh engagement ke liye.

M: I also called you for that only. Actually mom wanted us to discuss about the engagement dates. So which one is comfortable for you.

N: Anyone, I am fine with.

M: Nandini to be frank then I would prefer the date after 20 days rather than next week as I want us to know each other and to be comfortable around each other before getting engaged.

N: I am fine with it, in fact even I would love the date after 20 days only.

M: Then done, after 20 days is the one we are finalizing... But Nandini I wanted to know one more thing.. But wait I will facetime you.

Nandini agreed and soon she cut the call only to receive facetime from Manik. She picked it up immediately.

M: Woh Nandini, I know girls have lots of dream when it comes to their marriage and lists of wishes for their wedding, so I just wanted to confirm that all these things being private among just really close friends and family. I mean to say are you fine with it as I do not mind going public about our relationship but on other hand I do not want to become a hurdle also for you.

Nandini smiled at his question also and his hesitation.

N: You know you are at benefit at present as throughout my life I have never given these things much of a thought like other girls during their phase do, I always ran behind my dreams and aspiration to be something and to do something. So I have not really thought on it. And about the fact going public then I am really happy, as it has been just a while that I have joined dad and I still do not want to go public about it, so I am really happy that at present I do not want to go public.

She wanted to say something but stopped abruptly. As she was not sure how would Manik take her further words.

Manik noticed his hesitance and so to clear the air of awkwardness he said

M: You can feel free to say anything as I promise i won't judge you until I understand your point of view.

Nandini looked at him and then said

N: It is just that I do not want people to first judge me with the fact that I an in Murty Industries at the current position because I am Raman Murty's daughter and so I have not asked to make an announcement. And so i am happy also with the fact that we are not going public as then also they would say something which I do not want to hear.

She did not named the words but Manik understood her, but even out of experience he wanted to make her understand one thing.

M: Nandini ek baat batau, Maine bhi business tab join kiya jab mai college mai tha, as after the incident I was too moved to do something and so I started to get myself engrossed in business, and because of which I completed my training at an early stage and so when my college completed I started handling business full fledged. But then also people used to say things about me which are not pleasant to hear. I am not saying that your decision is not proper but I just want to convey that "Logo ka kaam hota hai bolna" So if because of this you stop yourself then you will miss out on many things in life. (Nandini can I ask you something, I too joined business when I was in college, as after the incident I was too moved to do something and so I started to engross myself in the business and because of the same I completed my training early and once I completed my college I started the college full fledged. But then also people used to say things about me which are not pleasant to hear. I am not saying that your decision is not proper but I just want to convey that "It is peoples work to talk around and gossip" So if because of this you stop yourself then you will miss out on many things in life.)

Nandini had never given this perspective a thought only, as she always wanted to avoid herself from hearing people's unpleasant words. But she also understood that he is right, people are never going to stop speaking ill about you as they would always be ready to pounce on you. This is the rule of the world..

Manik saw her deep in her thoughts but then he did not want her to be hard on herself with just the mere thought that whatever she has done till now is not good or not proper so he brought her out of her thought process and tried to divert her attention. 

M: So Nandini do you know cooking?

N: I do, in fact on weekends and days when I am free I cook. But yes for cooking I am really moody.

M: that is good, by the way I did not ask you because i wanted to offend you or anything, it is just to know you..

N: I know, so please do not feel bad.. We are trying to know each other and for that we need to open up..

Manik agreed, then Nandini talked to him for a while about random things and then she was feeling sleepy so Manik bid her bye to called it a day. He knew that she needs rest as tomorrow is a big day for them and for that both need enough rest so that they do not look tired.

Nandini changed after talking to Manik and then she sat on bed replaying Maniks words in her mind, she now realised why Raman always wanted to her to go public about her working in Malhotra's project. But he did not budge her much about that. But Nandini was becoming restless as the thought itself is making her think that she did not do justice. Or to be precise she was wrong, so she decided at as the project is almost halfway and is also going on perfectly she would ask Raman to disclose the fact that she is working with him now.

Soon she slept as she had a hectic day at office and on top of it all these happenings of Roka and all. While on the other side Manik was back to the memory lane when he joined the office and how people used to make fun behind his back. As he knew even if does anything people would consider that only that he is the son of boss and so he has wild card entry for everything. But he knows what it takes to run on the footprint set by your father.

Soon sleep took over him also. He went to a deep slumber as tomorrow is a big day for both of them. Tomorrow officially Nandini would become his, this would add up to responsibilities and expectation and a lot more. But it would also bring a series of happiness and joy for him and for family too.
