Avoid mistakes if any..

It was day of Diwali and early in the morning at around 4 Nandini's alarm rang and making her stir in her sleep while she was sleepy but woke up with jerk making Manik too to open his and look at her and then groaned on the alarm ringing.. Nandini immediately shut it down and after apologizing.

N: Sorry, aap thodi der aur so jaye. Mai bath le lo na fir aap uth jana.

Manik nodded in half sleep and then went back to sleep. While Nandini looking at this smiled and then moved to his side kissing his forehead and then moved.

Nandini got ready in a beautiful banarasi silk saree.

Nandini then woke up Manik and asked him to get ready.. He did not threw tantrums and moved to freshen up. He to came out ready looking handsome as ever.

Soon the pooja started and Manik and Nandini had to perform them as a couple, till now it was always Neyonika and Raj and for this year it was Manik and Nandini.

They all performed the pooja as the panditji said while later they had to go to office also. After the pooja they distributed prasad to all and then only they moved to have water or food.

But before that the boys moved out of the house to burst crackers. They burst very few ones only as a ritual to burst them after the pooja. But the other reason was that they do not want to pollute the environment. So from past year or two they had stoped bursting them. Looking at the increasing global warming...

Soon after breakfast they all moved to office where again Nandini and Manik performed Aarti and then distributed prasad along with sweet and bonus to all and wishing them all.

On this day it was always for the workers more important and the happy one, not because they are given bonus and sweets as part of the Diwali but on this day they and their families form part of the this company and they are treated as one big family...

There was a grand Lunch was arranged for all the employees and their families. As on this day it gives all the employees to have unprofessional relationship with their bosses and their families can form part of the same too... While it was a great time of the year as the Malhotra's were always known in keeping and maintain relations with all the employees in personal front till things are possible.

Raj would make Nandini and Aneri meet some of their very important employees along with their families.. he would also share some or the other experience with them either funny or some important one remembering the days and enjoying the time. While this gave all the employees the feeling of belonging that they have taken a best decision to work here for years...

Soon on a happy note the day came to an end...

They all returned back home a bit tired so they moved to their individual rooms to rest for a while as in the evening again there was another party and they were dead tired as from early morning they had woken up. And the whole day was super hectic...

Evening again the decorations were going on and the house was decked up beautifully. All men were looking after the decorations along with Fab 5 as this was their routine for every Diwali. Abhi was also accompanying them and he too was there.

Nandini and Aneri sat to do Rangoli and soon they were joined by Mukti too... Navya and Alya were helping Neyonika in other arrangements...

Constantly Nandini was facing an issue with her hair coming in front and unfortunately they all were messed up in colourful hands... At that moment Mukti so Manik coming around and shouted for him...

Mu: Bhai...

Immediately on hearing her shout he looked at her and Mukti through eyes asked him to come closer .

When he came closer Nandini could feel her heartbeat getting faster... Manik could see her expressions and at that very same moment wanted to just kiss her... But then controlling himself he moved forward and then took her hair and pinned it behind...

Nandini was still in daze to realise that nothing else was going to happen...

She blushed hard and seeing that Manik thought of something funny or atleast it was funny for him... He took some rangoli colour and then said to Nandini...

M: are tumhare gaal pe Kuch laga hai...

N: kya laga hai...

Saying this she herself put some colour on her cheeks which made Manik to laugh like anything ..

N: are nikalo na...

Taking the opportunity Manik put his hand which was of colours on her cheek and laughed out loud...

But before Nandini could realise Manik was far away from there...

Soon on giggling and laughing they all completed the Rangoli...

All the ladies were looking after other arrangements.

At the stroke of 6 Neyonika shouted to all to go to their rooms and get ready as the party was bound to start by 6:30 and none were ready. The girls decided to wear lengha while the boys were in simple kurtas.

Well all the girls took one room so that they can be a helping hand to each other, while the boys with no option took another room to get ready.

The party was in full swing, the Murty's too arrived with lots of gift as it was first Diwali of both their kids.. While Neyonika and Ishita hugged each other.

Manik was attending the guests which belonged to business and some Fab 5 producers too. While he introduced Nandini to many other clients who were not there at their reception or were not in contact and all.

The party was gonna go till late so Fab 5 along with their better halves accompanied by Mishkat and Aneri were sitting on a table having their dinner. While Dhruv and Alya were hugging each other sideways and she was resting. While in case of Cavya, Navya was almost drowsy and sleeping on Cabir's shoulder..

Manik and Mukti looked at each other and was making signals through eyes and then Manik took the initiative...

M: So Cabir, tujse kuch puchna tha...

C:Hmm bol na...

M: Woh kal raat ko tu kya kar raha tha?

C: Kuch bhi nahi..

M: Are nahi nahi sach bol de.. Woh kya hai na Navya ko dekh ke nahi lagta ki tu kuch nahi kar raha tha... Thoda to rehm kar liya kar bichari ko dekh kaisi ho gayi hai...

As soon as he said this all looked at Cabir for a while who had his eyes big and wanted to say something but at the same time nothing was coming out from his mouth. The others were feeling it to be a treat to watch. While how can Cabir stay mute and that is when he shot a glare at Manik and said..

C: Well woh kya hai na Manik, I am not so hard on my wife that I need to go to a different places as I be gentle on her and not a animal. You see I know how to give TLC to my dear wifey...

That was it Cabira was back with a bang and now all the other's were shocked. While Nandini was feeling uncomfortable about the whole thing. She was hating the fact that someone was commenting on her intimate life and that was something that she never want. While how can Manik let things go. And she was a bit angry on Manik too as he was the first one to start it...

M: Well Cabir atleast there is that thing for my wife... But he was stopped as Nandini closed his mouth and pulled him away from all of them. While all the others burst laughing and Cabir pulled his invisible collars and earned a smack from Navya as she was just resting on Cabir's shoulder being damn tired.

Na: What the hell Cabir, you are in a public place. At least maintain some kind of decency of what to speak and what not to. There is no filter in you guys...

While on the other side, being away from the group Nandini jerked his hand with which she was pulling him and being angry moved away from there when Manik started following her and saying.

M: Are tu muj pe kyu bhadak rahi ho. Come on you know he hurt my ego... I need to answer him back...

Nandini glared at him and then started to move from there giving smiles to other's and finally she moved out to garden and sat there on a bench.

M: Are yaar, what is wrong with you...

N: What the hell Manik. You know I hate someone commenting on our personal lives.. but how can I say anything to them when you are the one commenting first...

M: Are but I started as a joke, how would I know that he would come back on me.

N: So you would say anything. It is so embarrassing. And that is Cabir he will always come back on you...

M: Acha to you want me to discuss it with you, you see in a our room with you around me in my arms and what not.

N: Jeez.. Just shut up dude.. You are becoming out of control now on.

M: What can I do baby, you are so irresistible that I cannot control.. I mean look at you right now so sexy looking... Ufff that it is so hard to resist...

Nandini's eyes again grew wide while Manik smirked seeing her face... Nandini saw that and hit him two to three times on his chest making him chuckle. While Nandini said in a serious tone.

N: Manik, I really do not like anyone commenting on my personal life, specially in relation to our intimacy. It is our personal space and zone where no one and I mean it no one should enter. It is just you and me.

M: Shh... It was all a joke baba.. Why are you taking all these things seriously..

N: Not even a joke Manik..

M: Fine I will see to it that these matter's do not come as a joke also. Bas.. Now give me a smile.

Nandini looked at him and passed a beautiful smile. While Manik's face adored the same smile after that he pulled her for a hug and Nandini too gave in and both laughed with their full heart...

Manik then kissed her forehead after being there in the hug for a long time but he also interlocked their hands to get her touch.. while his other hand played with her hair.

After a while they again joined the party as soon the guest will start going and they need to see off...

When they were walking in Manik said.

M: Waise did I say that you never fail to amaze. I mean today you look no less than a bomb you see.. I so wish to gobble you up fully... I mean it...

Nandini gave him another smile and soon they joined their parents as Neyonika called Nandini..

Ney: beta once the party is over you will be very tired so ask the servant to start cleaning the mess as much as they can and then just clean them once all are gone, and you and Aneri do not wait for it to be cleared. Go and take rest ok. The servants will be waking up late tomorrow because of the hectic work today... so only chef will be there in the morning and you guys can wake up late only... There won't be any work...

Nandini nodded and then moved to tell the servants while she also informed Aneri the same and she to agreed.

Once the party was over all moved to their rooms being dead tired. Nandini with half open eyes moved to change. While Manik changed in his closet only. He too was very tired and realised it when he saw the bed.

Both slept there in each other's arms and it was like they were almost asleep when they hit the bed.
