Ok guys here is the update for all of you...

Avoid mistakes if any.

It was almost only a week left for Diwali and so Nandini took official leave for 10 days as she wanted to help in the preparations...

While for Manik there was hectic thing because in Diwali they have hectic days and on top of that handling both the companies and that too almost alone. Thought even after taking a leave Nandini would prepare presentations and go through the files and all.. It was like for Manan they hardly had time to sit and talk to each other.

It was Sunday and so Manik decided to spend some time with Nandini.. The functions were gonna start from next week and then too they won't have much time. While Nandini received a call from Navya asking her to come and meet.

Nandini was gonna deny not because she did not want to meet but because she was damn busy. But Navya actually pleaded her to come for just a while and Manik on hearing her conversation asked her to go.. Nandini agreed to meet her for some time.

M: Nandini see, I know you are hurt but give her a chance to explain herself and rectify. Go and meet her with open mind ok... And haan Nandu, come back soon I want to spend some time saying this he held her by her waist pulling her more closer joining their foreheads.. If it was not this cold war between the two of you then I would not have even let you go only..

M: Aji sunti ho..

Nandini made and confused face but looked at him...

M: Are are aise nahi dekhte bhagwant.. Woh ji kya hai na hum ko aapka waqt nahi milta jyada to bas come fast and give some importance to your pati dev also. I need you to be with me also...

Saying this he slammed his lips on her's kissing the hell out of her. Nandini smiled in between savoring the kiss. While soon they both left each other feeling breathless...

Manik joined their foreheads and then soon he again started kissing the hell out of her till he himself was breathless...

M (While catching his breath): Gosh almost after one and half day I am getting a kiss... Nandini smiled to him and snuggled more into him taking him in a hug.. my throat was getting dry because of that... Haash now I could feel better...

Manik kissed the top of her head and said...

M: Now go and as I said be careful.. let it go off.. that is the best way you can live a bit in peace.

N: I will be.. I just don't want to get hurt more.. And i too hope that things just get solved... This was the main reason while the whole Karwa Chauth function I did not talk much to her as I was just not ready to...

M: You won't get hurt I am sure of it. Just relax ok...

Nandini then nodded and moved to freshen up. She informed Neyonika that she need to go to meet Navya, who readily agreed. While the boys gang who were at home today took the responsibility of decorations as tomorrow it is gonna be Dhanteras and so they need be prepared and the house needs to look beautiful after all the festival of lights is here...

Navya was waiting at the cafe for Nandini... And when Nandini joined her there was an awkward silence for a while. Nandini took the initiative to lighten the atmosphere as she wanted to sort out the differences...

N: How are you now...

Na: Nandu let's not beat around the bush. (She held Nandini's hand tightly while continued) I know that I have hurt you and a mere sorry from me won't change the things. But can you please listen as to why I did not inform you..

[ well guys this whole explanation is somewhere to all the people who were like hating Navya, please do not do it]

When I met Cabir as a prospective groom I was least interested. You knew that I always wanted to have a stable career before entering into any kind of relationship.. And on top of that seeing Cabir things became more awkward. So I just wanted to let it go off...

So I told him everything and moved out without hearing a response from him.. Not telling you all this had the reason that I thought that because of all this drama may be somewhere down the line there would be some awkwardness and on top of that your wedding was just on our heads.

Then when we went for the pre wedding photo shoot at Manik's farmhouse he approached me as he was very free to give me space for my career and this thing touched me but I did not react easily to him. But then at you mehendi function he caught me... Because when he said me those words and then seeing him in every function of yours somewhere I had started to feel for him too...

In all this our story progressed more at your wedding, how do you think that I will tell you among all the chaos and then you went for your long honeymoon and on return I was not in town and then all the problems at home started and in all that I could not think straight or come to you as I felt I would disturb you in your personal life. I did not wanted to be a hindrance. And for once I felt that I need to be an adult to Handle my own issues.

Nandu I know I did more wrong when I was falling weak in making you believe that whatever was my fault and yet I was not ready to put in more efforts to make you believe that I have not taken you for granted. please don't think like that you are like a lifeline to me... So please...

I just never wished to hide things from you Nandu, it was just that things happened fast comparatively. I am really sorry to hurt you...

Nandini knew that she cannot hold onto things after the explanations. Yes Navya was wrong but at no place she wanted to punish her after knowing that she is trying to sort things out how can she not give her a chance. So Nandini hugged her tight. she had let go off everything from her mind the moment her bestie just poured her heart...

N: Navu I was hurt because I felt that you stopped giving that importance to our long time friendship. I felt dejected that I have no worth in your life. But it is ok, Please don't do something like this again you are very important in my life.

Navya nodded and both the besties hugged each other tight. They both had light conversations on matters and all and then they both moved to their respective houses as the festival was on their heads.

Nandini had huge smile lingering on her face, seeing her like that Manik knew that things have been sorted as at the back of her mind she did not like fighting with Navya. And nothing is more important to him than her happiness...

M: So Mrs Malhotra all set...

N: For?

M: Romance my love Romance... In the romantic world created by your best hubby...

Nandini widened her eyes as they were in living room discussing something for the function. when Manik said this and was about to put his hand on her back when Nandini said...

N: Manik behave... We are with Family.. why are so naughty that you do not see anything else...

M: Are yaar Nandini why are you behind putting all my romance in gutter with your words... I mean seriously after a long time I am in some amazing mood and look at you... Gutter...

Saying this he made a grumpy face and looked the other side.

N: Acha baba sorry... It was just....

But no Manik was not paying any attention, he started doing work and was about to go from there.

Ney: Acha bacho suno... We are done with everything. So post lunch if you guys want to go for shopping you can and Nandini and Aneri beta as it your first Diwali well as per the ritual you will have to select some ornaments and dresses for 5 days so do you want me to call the jeweler over here or you guys want to go out.. Along with the designer.

N: Mom let us just wrap this shopping thing by noon na then we can be free as all is done.. and we can just relax for the day post that get this whole festival vibe.. (she said it so that she can give some time to Manik...)

Ney: Well so I will call them post lunch... Manik and Mishkat and Mukti you too be there..

M: Are mom this is your department do not drag me in this.

Mi(in his ears): Are what is this, I want to be there.. Do not be spoilt sport... comeon she is your better half... And this is the only chance I have with my to be..

Manik glared at him and making him shut his nonsense.. Why Neyonika then said authoritatively.

Ney: Manik no arguments, I want your opinions when they select their dresses.

Manik sighed and looked at Nandini with accusing eyes. As his all plans of romance was now in gutter full on....

While Nandini was pleading him. They all then moved for Lunch while having fun but Manik still acted grumpy and spoke minimal. While Nandini tried her best to make him fine while he was not even looking at her. She knew that he will be fine soon but then she also knew that she will have to spend some more time with him. Her one and only child man... Who can be way too mature but at times he is like a 5 year old asking for her all the time... Like seriously she is amused with all of his shades at times as to how can he switch his sides in fraction of seconds.. But then she also know that she needs to change things and she too want to do something special for him...

So here it is...
