The screen focuses on a huge building. It seems that the building belongs to a huge company. As we go near to it, we can see people moving in and out of the building. Many people are working inside the building wearing proper formals.

The only odd thing noticeable in the office is the eerie silence that is found on the premises. The employees are working effectively yet they seemed to be afraid of something.

A guy entered the office with a cheerful and jolly attitude. The old employees of the company who knew him heaved a sigh of relief while the new ones were confused with the attitude of this unknown person who didn't seem to care about the anger of their boss as he made his way inside the office casually talking and flirting with the female staff.

A new employee asked: Who is this guy? Isn't he aware that Manik sir doesn't like this type of behavior in his office?

An old employee who was passing by replied: He's Manik sir's best friend or you can say, soul brother. They both share everything and sometimes they don't even need to. Just by looking at each other's faces, they understand each other.

New employee: But Manik sir seems to be so strict and he on other hand is a jolly person. How come they both be best friends?

Old employee: You're new here and you're making judgments on your boss. It's your first day here and it seems that you want it to be your last, gentleman.

New employee: Sir, I didn't mean that. All I wanted was to know Manik sir. I mean everyone is always curious as to Who is he? Sometimes the media people state that he's arrogant and sometimes he becomes a hero in people's eyes. With these things how will one understand him, sir?

The old employee (chuckles): And that's the reason he's the Manik Malhotra

Manik Malhotra, the name itself sends shivers down the spine of his opponents. He's a workaholic and he's solely responsible for taking Malhotra Group of Industries to an international level. He expanded the company and made it reach the position of No. 2 in the World Market. Being a workaholic, sometimes it gets difficult for him to manage his time for his loved ones but, he manages to give time to each of his family members which also includes his friends. He is a person everyone desires to be but, how has he reached that position is only known to him.

The old employee moved towards Cabir to greet him.

Old employee: Cabir sir, when did you come back from your trip?

Cabir: My trip was just like me, awesome. Unlike your boss, I'm cool and so, are my trips.

The old employee (chuckles): Till when are you both going to be like these? Always after each other?

Cabir: As you know Ashok uncle, I'm a jolly person so, whatever issue is there, it is with your stubborn boss who doesn't want to listen to anyone.

Ashok: But he listens to you and you're very well aware of it.

Cabir : Saara mazaa kharab kr diya uncle aapne
(You ruined my fun, uncle)

Ashok: Before you go inside, let me warn you. The temperature is quite high today.

Cabir: As if I care. I'm gonna barge in his cabin as usual.

Ashok: Please don't do that now. He's with clients.

Cabir: Great. I'll wait for him in your cabin then.

Ashok: Sounds good. Let's go.

Cabir went with Ashok to his cabin.

Ashok is an old employee of the company who is associated with Malhotra's Group of Industries for a long time. Manik considers his opinions and points because he has been in the industry for a long time and he was the one who taught Manik about the business. In a way, he's Manik's mentor. Though Manik has another mentor as well for running the business and grabbing a position in the market, he needed someone to guide him about the functioning and handling of all the things happening inside the company and to ensure that the workers and the employees are satisfied in the organization.

The minute the clients were out of the office, Cabir barged inside Manik's cabin.

Manik: What the hell? Don't you have any

Manik stopped speaking when he saw who has dared to barge inside his cabin. It has to be his best friend. As no one other than him enters his cabin like this.

Manik: Bir, what a pleasant surprise man!

Manik hugged him dearly. It has been a month since they met as both of them were busy with their professional commitments.

Cabir: Are you done for the day? Or do you have anything that needs your attention?

Manik: I do have a few things but, let me ask dad if he can handle those

Cabir: Don't trouble uncle for me, man

Shut up!

Manik: Dad, I was about to call you

Manik's dad : You go with your pal, son. I know you people might have a lot to talk and what things were you talking about?

Manik : I wanted to look at the workers' issue. I heard they are not being treated well.

Manik's dad: Oh that! It has already been taken care of. Your idiot of a friend did it to pass his time. Thank you, Cabir.

Cabir: Uncle, please don't make me feel like an outsider now.

Manik's dad: Who started this thing?

Cabir: I'm sorry uncle for not coming to you first. I got to know you were with your best friend and I also heard that he wants his daughter to get married to Manik. Is it true?

Manik: Yeah. He was with Vikram uncle. Wait, what? Marriage? That too arranged? Have you gone crazy Cabir?

Manik's dad: Calm down, Manik. I understand that all this is too sudden for you and a Cabir, can't you wait for sometime? I was supposed to share this news with him today.

Manik: But dad

Manik's dad: Manik, I trust you son. Take as much time as you want. Neither your mom nor I will force you to do anything against your will. You wanna know why? Because you're Raj Malhotra's son and he takes decisions after thinking on it from every perspective. Remember, your happiness matters to us most. If you don't want this alliance, I'll talk to Vikram about it.

Manik nodded his head and moved out of his cabin lost in his thoughts.

Raj: Cabir, can you please be with him today?

Cabir: of course uncle. You just gave me chance to annoy him, how can I miss it?
