Next Day; Malhotra Industries

Manik was working dedicatedly on a project that he signed recently when Raj walked into his cabin unannounced.

Raj: Manik bete (son), are you busy?

Manik: No Dad, I was just going through the details of our new project. Do you want to discuss something?

Raj: Yes, I do but that can wait. You finish your work and I'll wait here for you.

Manik: I'm sorry that you have to wait for me but this is something important.

Raj: I understand son. Don't think much about it. After all, I don't get much time to see my son working.

Manik: Dad

Raj laughed and settled on the couches placed in one of the corners of Manik's cabin.

Manik resumed his work while Raj looked at his son's way of working with a proud face. He was proud of Manik and it was evident in his eyes. The way his son has learned to manage everything always amazed him.

Manik got free after an hour and came towards his father who was busy doing something on his phone. He called his father to get his attention.

Manik: Dad

Raj: Are you done?

Manik: Yes, what did you want to discuss?

Raj: I wanted to know your opinion about Nandini.

Manik: I don't know what to say, Dad.

Raj: Okay. Why don't we start with how you feel about this arrangement and her?

Manik: I like how she's attached to her roots but confident in accepting and presenting her raw form. I don't mind having her as my wife but then I would like to know more about her. I mean how can someone know everything about a person in just one meeting?

Raj chuckled hearing him. Though his son is one of the most amazing businessmen in the industry, he can be so confused when it comes to building relations.

Raj: Do you know what's the beauty of arranged man, my son?

Manik looked confused as Raj asked him this question. He never had any conversation like this with his father. though his parents are modern and open to the western culture, he never had to talk about these things with them as he was busy studying and expanding the business.

Raj: It's the process of knowing your beloved, your partner, and gradually falling in love with that person. It's the journey from being strangers to being a safe space for each other. Remember Manik, it's the little things and details that matter the most in life.

You have seen me getting bouquets for your mom, right? She gets happy with them not because I bought them for her. She becomes happy because she understands that I missed her and I need her at the end of the day to keep my sanity.

Manik had always seen his father doing something to make his mother happy. Even though Nyonika had everything a woman may desire in her life, the gifts his father gave her always bought joy and happiness to her. Today, he understood the reason behind it.

Raj: I know you liked Nandini. But the main question is, are you willing to be her safe space for the rest of your life? Are you ready to allow her to be your strength?

Manik: I'm ready to marry her, Dad. Thank you for making me understand.

Manik and Raj were spending some father son time after having this heavy discussion. They were bickering over who has more rights on their beloved woman.

None of them was in no mood to back down but then Mamik got an unexpected call.

On the other hand, the scenario in Murthy Mansion was quite opposite.

Nandini was pacing on her room restlessly. She was worried about the delay in answer from the Malhotra's side. She was sure that Manik would say yes to the proposal but then why was he taking so much time.

She decided to meet Manik and solve her confusion. She got ready in a proper formal attire and made way to her brother's room.

Rishabh's Room; Murthy Mansion

Nandini barged inside the room and the first thing she asked was:

Nandini: Give me the address of Malhotra Industries

Rishabh: Woah... Woah... woah... Hold your horses. What happened to you?

Nandini: I've something to discuss with him so, I decided to meet him instead of waiting for a initiative from his side.

Rishabh: Okay but why are you here then? As far as I remember, you already know the way to Malhotra Industries. Remember, you went to pick dad a few times?

Nandini: I'm here because I want you to call him and ask about his whereabouts. I need to know if he's there in his office or not.

Rishabh: And what makes you think that I'll do it?

Nandini: If you want your latest video game to be delivered safely, you'll do it or else who knows the order might get delayed or maybe even canceled.

Rishabh: Such a cruel person you're. I'll do it but you'll have to get me something that I want. Deal?

Nandini: You're so annoying. Deal.

Rishabh: It can be anything.

Nandini: Are you calling him or not?

Rishabh: Yeah yeah. I'm. Don't you have a little bit of patience?

Nandini was about to say something but Rishabh had already dialed Manik's number.

Rishbah: Hello Manik Bhai, how are you?

Manik: I'm good Champ. How are you? I hope everything's okay.

Rishabh: Everything is fine, bhai. I just wanted to ask you if you're in your office today?

Manik: I'm. Is there something I can help you with?

Rishabh: Yes bhai, (whispering) I need to be saved from an angry lioness. Can you tame her for me?

Nandini couldn't hear what Rishbah spoke or else she would've beaten the shit out of the poor guy.

Manik (laughingly): Why don't you send the lioness to my office then? I'll try to tame her.

Rishbah: Please tame her else she'll rat me raw. I'm sending her there just don't tell her that I told you this.

Manik: Don't worry Champ. It's our little secret.
