Next Morning

At Singhania Mansion :

Everybody gathered at the living room and were sitting in silence waiting for Harsh, Nyonika & Manik. Meanwhile Ram told everyone about whatever happened yesterday.

At exact 10 am the Malhotras entered the mansion. They all were settled in the couches. As soon as they sat everyone began starting at Nandini, Manik, Harsh & Nyonika.

Harsh - "Arre bhai aise kya dekh rhe bata rhe hain wait.." He said then suddenly something popped up in his mind & without thinking he asked "Oh haan, Main kal bhi puchne waala tha but tum sab busy ho gye, Nandu where is Nakul & Shweta bhabhi?" Everyone went silent hearing their names.

Nandini (tears welled up in her eyes) but she said to herself : No Nandini, u hav to be strong.

Ram was about to say something when Nandu interrupted him & said "no uncle, let me tell"

Nandu - "Dadda wo... Mom & D-Dad a-are n..n-nno more." She said & burst into tears as she couldn't control herself.
(In these past years, she became very confident & self dependent woman but this was the only topic which makes her weak)

Varun stood up to console her but before that Manik came & hugged her. Harsh & Nyonika also had tears in their eyes as Nakul & Shweta were their best friends..
(A/N : No matter how many new friends u make, childhood & best friends always have a special spot in ur heart)

Then Harsh started to tell them about their past..

Flashback :

After almost two months of Harsh & Nyonika's marriage, Nakul & Shweta got married. They had a love marriage & all of them were very happy for each other. From their college days they were planning to buy a mansion & live there together happily, and they made it true after they got married.
They were all best of friends from their college time. They supported each other in their hardest times.
After a year & half Nyonika gave birth to Manik and at that time Shweta was a month pregnant. Nakul & Shweta loved Manik as their own, they loved him to death.
Then when Nandini was born, their happiness knew no bounds. They felt like they had everything in the world, perfect family, perfect friends, they wanted nothing more from life.
All of them lived happily, but after 4 years Harsh, Nyonika & Manik had to go to NYC due to business.

Flashback ends.

Harsh - "That time I saw my Nandu crying asking us to not leave but we had no option.. when I was talking to Nakul that we don't even know if we'll return or not, Nandu heard our convo and was wailing continuously" He said all these while side-hugging Nandu.
"We returned from NYC after almost 12 years, & went directly to our mansion to surprise the trio but to our dismay tge mansion was locked... I tried contacting Nakul but all went in vain" He said with a disappointed look on his face.

Seeing his Mom & Dad grimacing, he understood they can't continue further so he said "Then we brought a new mansion & after 20 years we are seeing our Nandu" He said with a small smile.

Everbody had tears by now, there was an awkward silence as no one knew what to speak. But our Cabira chose to break the silence and to change the sad atmosphere.

Cabir - "But Uncle, why does Nandu call u 'boyfriend'?!"

Harsh chuckled and replied "Ah Cabir beta, that's a very cute story" He said and smiled remembering that day then told everyone about it...

Flashback

Harsh was doing his office work in the study room, when little Nandu came running to him.

Nandu - "Dadda! Dadda!"
(A/N : Nandu calls Harsh & Nyonika as Dadda & Noni Ma while Manik calls Nakul & Shweta as Papa & Mumma)

Harsh immediately stopped his work and made Nandu sit on his lap.

Harsh - "What happened bacha, why are u running?! I told u not to right, u would've fallen.."

Nandu - "Sholly (Sorry) Dadda, I will not lun (run) flom (from) nexsht (next) time" She said cutely holding her ears & making a pout.

Harsh immediately melted & smililingly said "It's ok.. Now tell me why were u running?"

Nandu - "I wanted to ask u, what ish boyflend?!"

Harsh's eyes bulged out listening this, "Who told u about this?" He asked in utter shock.

Nandu - "Mano told me that he ish (is) my boyflend (Boyfriend) & I am hish (his) galflend (girlfriend) but I didn't know itsh (it's) meaning.. Tell me na !"

Harsh got angry as how dare Manik tell something like this to Nandu but most importantly who told him about these things.
He was lost in his thoughts when Nandu called him again "Dadda, tell na !"

Harsh was thinking of what to tell Nandini, as she will not leave him till he tells her.

Harsh - "Nandu.. Bacha, wo.. boyfriend means... um., haan boyfriend means the one friend who is a boy whom u love the most & girlfriend means the one friend who is a girl whom u love the most... Ok !" He said heaving a huge sigh.

Nandu - "Otay Dadda.. but I don't want that monstel (monster) to be my boyflend (Boyfriend), he ish (is) blahh (bad). He alwaysh (always) pullsh (pulls) my hail (hair) & he alsho (also) teashesh (teases) me by calling 'Chuhiya'.. I don't lite (like) him" She said making faces.

Harsh giggled listening her complaints then pecked her cheeks and said "It's ok.."
He saw her lost in her own thoughts & asked "What happened, What are u thinking?"

Nandu - "Dadda I wash (was) thinking, Shee (see) I love U alsho (also) & u r alsho (also) a boy then will u be my boyflend (boyfriend) ?" She asked innocently.

Harsh went all awe at her innocence, he saw her looking at him waiting for her answer..

Harsh - "U kno u r very cute baby" He said & pulled her cheeks then continued "And yes I will be ur Boyfriend, how can I reject such a beautiful girl's proposal !"

Nandu got very happy, she clapped her hands & said "Yayy!! Now u ale (are) my boyflend & I am youl (ur) galflend."

Harsh just laughed at her excitement then told her "Ok little girlfriend now go play, I've some work but before that tell Manik that I'm calling him"

Nandu - "Otay" She said & waa about to go when she asked him with her hand to bend down till her height & he did as she said, then she whispered softly in his ears "Boyflend, I kno he ish a monstel (monster) but don't stold (scold) him mole (more)"
He smiled at her & said "Ok I will not scold him"

A few minutes later, Manik came & asked "Dad, u called me?"

Harsh (sternly) - "Come in Manik.. I wanted to ask u, did u speak to Nandu about bf & gf?! Who told u about these things, U r just 3 & a 1/5 years old Manik !!"

Manik (innocently nodded) - "Yes dad, my flend told me about this, he said that he heald (heard) his sistel (sister) speaking on phone..." Then he looked down & said "Solly dad, I just said that because I'm hel (her) flend (friend) & I'm a boy.. Is it wlong (wrong) ?" Confusion was clear in his face.

Flashback ends

Harsh laughed & said "Then somehow, I convinced Manik & told him the same that I told Nandu.. But he frowned & said that he wanted to be her boyfriend and that this is not fair... Phir kya, He again started teasing & pulling her hair and we all enjoyed their tom & jerry show"

Everybody was rolling on floor laughing while our MaNan just wanted to hide their faces somewhere due to embarrassment.

After that it was so fun to be together they all talked a lot, Harsh & Nyonika shared many such incidents even Ram & Sakshi told them about their children's childhood stories. All of them were enjoying this big family moment.

Then they all had their lunch, all men except Ram & Harsh left to their respective works as they had taken half day off while all the women decided to go shopping as next week they had to leave for Udaipur.
